Based on two visits, very similar experience to Angela W.'s review: Rude staff. Long waits to place order. Long waits to receive order. Sub par, over priced food. Inexperienced, unskilled bartenders. Lack of atmosphere. Polo-clad mob in the parking lot.

If you like waiting for a drink for 20 minutes and watching young people get in fights in the parking lot while eating mediocre but very overpriced pizza- this is the place for you. Zero atmosphere. The inmates run the asylum at this joint. Not sure if it's a pizza parlor at night or the worst nightclub I've ever been too. Great fight scenes in the parking lot as the young guys all wearing polo shirts TRY to fight each other. (Probably waiting too long for drinks and thought they'd provide cheap entertainment to the patrons.) I wouldn't come back to this place unless I needed a review of Polo wear now on sale at the outlets. Not a place I'd go for a night club scene or bring the family. 2 stars- only because it's a decent beer selection.

When it comes to Pizza and NFL Football the choice has always been Mellow Mushroom, We ordered the "House Special" with some Budlight, Pizza n Beer is a great combo.... As we walked in the restaurant we were greeted by a girl by the name of Savanah who sat us in In a booth with a great view of the NFL Sunday Games...This place really takes care of their hungry guest, we will for sure keep coming back for more P&B....

On point today! Awesome service and delicious foods! Always friendly staff, love the Enlightened spinach salad, so yummy! Always clean and food is always fresh. I took hubby here when he returned from Spain, where he was deployed serval months, and he really enjoyed himself :)

There is young lady named Savannah and I always call in my order for pickup and she is very polite and courteous to me, and when I go in to pick up my order she knows me by face and quickly get my order and provide the best customer service (which is hard to find these days). She is definitely an asset to this restaurant. I tip because of her.

Mellow mushroom is one of our favorite places to go. Everything we go in the staff is friendly, the managers interact with the customers, and the food is spot on. We have never had a bad experience with them, and will continue to be regular patrons.

Good service, decent selection of beers! Bartender knowledgable and very easy going. Would go back ( specially in this area).

The service was excellent. Layna was our waitress and she was very helpful in navigating a pretty big menu. We ended up with a half "hey dude" and half "bayou blue" which was a great combo. She even split the pizza across our checks perfectly. Stop in, it's good stuff

This would be a zero star review if I could leave one. Bottom line: this appears to be a franchise store that will not honor mellow mushroom coupons. For more details read on. Stopped in after a long drive up from Orlando, Florida. We frequently eat at mellow mushroom restaurants throughout Georgia and Tennessee and are even members of their e club. We went in an ordered 2 large pizzas. I told the waitress that we had a $5 off birthday coupon that mellow mushroom sent me. The waitress looked at the coupon on my phone and asked to see my drivers license and write down a bunch of information. It was odd, but we foraged in. She came back 3 subsequent times during he next 15 minutes to look at the email coupon on my phone and look at my drivers license again. I was getting a bit annoyed as she kept apologizing and told me her boss was being difficult. I told her to send her boss over if there was an issue. A woman named Christine (I believe) barged over to our table and demanded to see the coupon again. I showed it to her and told her I was getting annoyed and asked to speak to a manager. She claimed to be the owner and I knew this was going nowhere fast. At that moment the 2 pizzas showed up at table. The owner told me she would not accept the coupon as it was sent from corporate not from her store. I explained that the coupon did not reference any restrictions or indicate any store limitations. She told me that I need to go online to the website and change my location preference. I told her that did not seem right. I then asked her if she was willing to sacrifice my $50 dinner over this $5 coupon. She defiantly refuse to honor the mellow mushroom coupon. I told her she lost a customer and we were leaving. She had the nerve to tell me it was stealing to order the pizza and not pay for them. I laughed and walked out. We did not touch the pizzas and I mentioned the coupon when I ordered. The owner here is clearly not focused on customer service. I will be contacting mellow mushroom about this incident. I am sure they will not like to hear about this store owner's behavior.

Bartender Dana is great! That's why I rated it 2 stars rather than 1. Manger comes up arms crossed rude as can be and says there is no vaping in here! Also no wifi!!! 2015...this place is stuck in the past.

Not bad. The first time I went here, I had a hoagie and it was OK. The real star for me was their spinach dip! It was creamy and delicious with heavily seasoned garlic bread. My buddy got the Hawaiian pizza and loved it. So, the next time we went, we had to get the dip again and split a Hawaiian. He was right! It was very good. When you go to a pizza place, order pizza. Derp. The pricing is a little on the high end, but the atmosphere was cute and the wait staff was adequate. Also, and this is very important, it was very clean there. Seriously, I can not stress enough how important this is. If you don't believe me, walk into the Pizza Hut on Russell for about five minutes before you go to Mellow Mushroom. Night and day difference. Actually, I take that back...if you go to the PH first, you might lose your appetite.

I've never been disappointed with anything I've ordered from Mellow Mushroom. The pizzas are always amazing! Along with that, I'm a dipper and their ranch dressing is awesome. The mushroom soup is very good also. Excellent selection of CRAFT BEER!! Need I say more? Great outdoor patio and friendly staff. It would be nice if they had WiFi. I will be definitely go back.

Worst service in history! We waited 10 minutes before we told the hostess that no one came to our table to acknowledge us. Even then, we waited 5 more minutes. The manager was talking to a family by us and even saw that we weren't being helped. The manager only offered to pay for our meal after I requested to speak with her on our way out.

Great pizza. I love all the variations! The Hippie Dippy Trio is a good appetizer with bruschetta, olive tapenade, and hummus. Wish they had hot beverages. It's pretty loud but we love it.
The possibilities are endless! I have had some of the best salads and pizza from this MM. If they have the ingredients, you can make it. The staff is friendly and the Questionairrey game on Tuesday at 7pm is a lot of fun! We try to go every week!

Yikes...I'm going to be the negative nancy... I really did not enjoy 1 thing about this place. We did have a large party, which I think dilutes the experience alone, but there were other factors that helped. Our waitress was also the bartender (for the whole place)...that was rough. This was my first visit, and unfortunately was not in the mood for pizza, so I was in trouble. I'm totally a sides type of gal...veggies, fries...shutdown. How do you not serve sides? Strange. When I finally ordered, I was brought someone else's sandwich and started picking at it not realizing it wasn't mine...fortunately, it was the guy's next to me and I hadn't done anything questionable to it, so we just went ahead and switched. Even if I knew then what I know now, I don't think I would return. Just not my kind of place.

I'm giving them one star because they Won't let me have my dog in the outside patio. Pretty ridiculous considering they are supposed to be a chill place.

Good representation of the Mellow chain. Clean and good service. Good beer menu and nice patio seating. I like to switch romaine for the spinach in the Enlightened Spinach Salad. Never an issue and always appreciate their good attitude in general. Only gave it 4 stars because it's too bad about the NC beer club cancellation and my membership wont transfer.

Wow.. I was really impressed with this place! We ordered a few pizzas, drinks and desserts and ALL was so great! The waitress Courtney was fabulous, super friendly and a pleasure to talk to! I would recommend his place to anyone I know! Ohh... The red skin potato pie is BOMB!!

I have to echo with Jonathan H., wherein, the pizzas we ordered were bland. Having travelled and resided in the East Coast, West Coast, the South, etc., to me, pizzas should taste with rich tomato sauce with the crust that is crunchy from the pan up to the surface area of the sauce, toppings, and cheeses; the area that meets the sauce should be soft(not soggy). Well, having said the foregoing, the center area of the crust was so thin, the sauce and the toppings did make it soggy. No, folks. When I have my pizza, as you remove a slice a thick stringy mozzarella should connect the slice and the remaining pie. When you sink your teeth into that slice, the topping should come contact with your gums which are beyond the length of your teeth. And while this is happening, no liquids or fluids of any kind should 'spill' out from your slice or see any fluid oozing out from the remaining pie. What I had was a feeble attempt in trendizing a perfectly good pizza into something else. Not to take away from our server, the service was good and she was very attentive in asking us frequently if we needed refills on our beverages.

Food is good and servers are usually good however management is horrible. I broke a tooth on a piece of Bayou Blue pizza and asked to speak to the manager/owner. When the waitress came back she said the owner said that I must have broken it on a fennel seed in the sausage and to just tell me that. She would not come to the table to speak to me about it. I will not be going back. I have found that Johnny's Pizza in Bonaire is better food, better service and much better management.

My son and I used to have date night every Thursday at this place:) we loved it! The service was always good and the food also. I absolutely love their hoagies and I never eat sandwiches when I eat out! Prices are decent and the atmosphere is great:)

The service was slow with a 20 minute wait, with a place with very few customers. The food was hot, but had food that was out of date and in the food poisioning area. A customer walked by me stumbling around and was clearly drunk. A place not good for family or your health.

I like pizza. Who doesn't? For a chain restaurant this place does well. The pizza is consistent and always hot! Pizza lovers and beer lovers check this place out!!

Recently moved to the Warner Robins area from Northern Virginia. Was hoping to find a good NY-style pizza (southern Jersey style or just that nice crispy, thin, chewy crust). Mellow has received the best reviews so I tried them. There was one near where I used to work in VA but I never went there...but the parking lot was always jam packed. I felt the people that greeted me and took my carry out order were very nice and pleasant. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni tasted good but the rest of the pizza was rather bland. Had to put hot sauce and parmesan cheese to give more flavor. My least favorite part of the pizza was the crust. I think the thicker part was definitely undercooked....just too doughey. If I were to try this place again, I would ask for the pizza to be cooked "well-done".....ie. I would like to see some black on the bottom. My quest for good NY-style pizza continues and I think I'll have to venture outside of Warner Robins to find it.

Another visit yielded a delicious appetizer, tasty pizza, and some fine college football action on the big screen TVs. I'm glad I gave the Mellow Mushroom a second chance, because it was a much better evening.

I started going to Mellow Mushrooms when I was at college in Atlanta. I thought it was just a chain that was up there, but when I moved back to Warner Robins to my surprise a Mellow Mushroom had been built while I was away! This place is very awesome, and I'm glad that the chain has spread down this way. Although so many people rave about their pizza, I am totally a hoagie fan. They have the most delicious sandwiches ever. The other day I tried the new creole shrimp hoagie and it was to die for. I think it may be a dish they rotate out since it was on an insert inside the menu, but it was great. I've never ordered anything that I disliked from MM, and this location has a pretty nice interior with quite a few big screen TV's set-up around the room. Definitely a cool place to chill and watch a football game. This would be the perfect place if they had Direct Ticket and offered any NFL game - I would be a staple there every Sunday if they did!

Mellow Mushroom is the only best vegetarian restaurant I've dined in Warner Robins, GA. Since I have been a vegetarian for a couple of years, I have enjoyed a number of the healthy and vegetarian meals, especially my favorite "Avocado" hoagie. Of course, I enjoy my favorite wine or cocktail at the bar many times. Mellow Mushroom is one of only 2 best restaurants ever I've dined in Warner Robins since I moved here from another state last summer.

Definitely the best pizza in town, and probably the best I've had. Yes, this is a franchise, but thankfully none of these will let you down. I have visited a couple of different Mellow Mushrooms and they don't disappoint. The dough is what sets it apart; a sweeter dough than the common pizza, it's not something to skip over and eat around. Huge specialty selection including the "Caesar" pizza, a chicken and cheese pizza topped with a caesar salad, which is one of my personal favorites. Locally known for their huge beer selection, Mellow Mushroom carries 90 beers, draught and bottled. These vary from week to week. If that's your kind of thing, this place is perfect for you. Full bar and a ton of huge TVs. That being said, weekends get obnoxious with intoxicated GA football fans. Atmosphere is excellent, casual, relaxed, and service usually is too. Wednesday nights host karaoke, and Thursdays trivia. It gets very busy on the weekends, but quality does not lack. Pizzas do take a long time--upwards of 15 minutes and near 25 sometimes...so if you're in a time-crunch to catch a movie, I advise arriving at least an hour and a half before. Unique, open, and vibrant building is pleasing to the eye, but the place gets very loud at high-volume times. Food is very expensive! Don't plan to come here with $20 in your pocket. A go-to gourmet place to eat, if you have the time and you're willing to pay for it. *Tip your server! :)*

Pizza is always delicious - way better than any chain I've tried. Environment is fun - good place to unwind. Calzones are yummy and they have a large selection of beer, along with a Beer Tour club. Love this place!

My gf loves the place. The pizza is good for the most part. The price is a bit too steep for my taste. Especially for the portion sizes. I like the environment, but not the best of other mellow mushroom that i have visited.

You know when you visit a restaurant and you find something that's so fantastic that you never want to put it down? Well that's what my wife and I have found here. I get the Steak & Cheese hoagie and she gets the Mushroom Club. So deelish! Great atmosphere and a great selection on-tap. You cannot go wrong with MM.

Beer was good and cold, pizza was good, lots of TV's that are viewable from almost anywhere. I do not know what some of these people on here are saying but they are all viewable and new looking. The place is very very clean as well. The one in Destin that I live close to is more of a dive bar and they make pizza there. So this was a little refreshing.

After 9 hours of being on the road driving from Miami to Warner Robins, I was so happy to find this place. I was in the mood of good food and the Mellow Mushroom delivered. I had the Tempeh Hoagie; the price was great and the serving size was very generous. I would recommend this place to fiends.

Restaurant: 5 stars -- this restaurant is a chain and we've been to a few others in other states and they are all clean, well stocked with enough staff, and very lively. Bathroom: 5 stars bc it's clean--at 11am Waitress: 2 stars--she responded with 'Yup' when we said 'Thank you' when it should have been 'my pleasure' or 'you're welcome'. Perhaps a little OJT in customer service is in order Food: Caesar chicken salad pizza gets 4 stars Grilled mushroom club sandwich Pizza gets 4 stars Buffalo chicken pizza gets 4 stars Course, we had to share each others pizza to give them the overall ratings. We all agreed that the crust was terrific! This place is busy so expect a wait if you go out at the regular lunch and dinner times. We will go back and I will recommend this place to friends.

I love the option to make your own pizza. I always opt for the pesto base with spinach, feta cheese, and chicken. I've yet to be disappointed. They have pretty good trivia on Thursday nights, although there are usually children mixed in with the adult crowd, which can take a little getting used to (the table behind me got accosted by an angry dad for using the f-word too loudly).

I'm probably one of the last people in Warner Robins NOT to try Mellow Mushroom since they arrived. I rarely visit Hwy 96 and all it's new establishments so this was something I looked forward to trying to see what all the hype was about. Upon entrance, I noted the great decor. Fun and friendly and TONS of high school servers around. I mean high schoolers were EVERYWHERE. I guess it was the place to work. We ordered the House Special 14" pizza and a salad we split. They were very nice about splitting a "lil" salad. The waitress split it for us voluntarily. The salad came out quickly and it was "eh"... lettuce, muchrooms, soggy tomato, etc. Nothing too great. Just a salad. A plain one at that. The pizza took a while to get out. I mean, it took longer than Papa John's delivery. I was like GEEZ. BUT, when it arrived, and I took my first bite... Mmmm, Mmm...mmmmm..MMMmmmm....Mmmmmmm... SO GOOD! The crush was delicious! Loved the lightly crispy bottom and LOVED the parmesan sprinkled on the crust. Delicious pizza. Yummo. I am a fan. I've been eating greasy, delicious Papa John's so long that I forgot what real pizza is supposed to taste like with fresh, crunchy toppings. I am a fan.

Jennie P.
The CRUST is delicious! FULL BAR, great service, lots of selection for pizzas, and a bunch of other stuff on the menu. They pile on the toppings! We had the Hawaiian and House Special Half and Half. The House Special had a whole slice of tomato on top which I thought was pretty cool compared to having diced tomatoes on there. The toppings were falling off the pizza! AND they have sweet tea! Yummy!

Fantastic pizza joint. They have quite a few unique choices for all parts of the meal. The hummus appetizer had a bit too much chili powder on it, but otherwise was spot on. The crust on the pizza here was fantastic. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The crust was almost better than the pizza itself. I went with the buffalo chicken pizza, which was out of this world. I had their house beer, and it was quite good for an ale; it was pretty standard. I almost always go with Yuengling when in an area of the US that has it. The decor was modern and swanky, which is different than most of the restaurants in the area. This is on the must visit places in the area!

Not consistent. We love mellow mushroom and it has always been our go to for good pizza. However, he last two times the toppings were all buried on the bottom, and the cheese seemed to be thrown on as an afterthought. The crust was very soggy, the center pieces had to be eaten with a fork. We asked about this, and were told by the server it was made different by different cooks. Still, sending out soggy crust pizza when you carry the name mellow mushroom is unacceptable in my opinion. I think we wont come back unless we want some of their beer. If I am craving a delicious crispy crusty pepperoni slice with melty goody not underdone cheese, I will go up the road to johnys. Can't knock them on flavor though, MM always has delicious tasting crust.

This place has delicious pizza! They have a variety of pizzas or you can build your own. There is other food on the menu besides pizza. Also, they have a variety of beers & mixed drinks. You can eat inside or they have a patio. Yummy pizza & friendly people! We are definitely going back!

This is the best pizza you are going to find in this town. The eclectic menu offers traditional toppings and favorites to more exotic creations that offer something for anyone and everyone. I recommend the pretzels and the kosmic karma pizza. Trust me... You'll thank me.

I enjoy not only the atmosphere, but the food is great. I enjoy the ability to create your own pizza and the array of beers to choose from is awesome and goes perfectly with the pizza. I would recommend the cheese bread.

Awesome place! Fantastic beer selection both draft and bottled, good range from your basic domestic to high end microbrews/imports (ordered a great Belgian triple). Nice selection of vegetarian dishes that aren't just meatless versions of other entrees, I ordered a grilled tempeh sandwich (think tofu with a heavier texture) that was fantastic. My friend ordered a personal pizza with onions, tomatoes and curry chicken garnished with cucumbers and said it was fantastic. Would definitely come here again.

Ok let me start off by saying the only reason this restaurant doesn't get 5 stars is because I have been to other Mellow Mushrooms so I have a basis for comparison. Atmosphere? Totally contrived. The interior can only be described as a "yuppie-fied acid head trip with extra money thrown at it for some fake swank" I mean really, the repro 60's and 70's music posters and album covers don't even pretend to be authentic and the not-hippie-style balls floating from the ceiling? Re-do it in gray and silver and you would have a hotel lobby. Every time I have been there I have had to ask for an outdoor table because it is SO LOUD inside I couldn't hear the waitress or my tablemates. The patio is great when the weather co-operates and they don't have one of those awful amateur bands playing. The place is always overcrowded, and you have to elbow your way past rude people to follow your hostess to your table, or to get to an empty seat at one of the bars. Enough about the atmosphere... Food and drinks both get 5 stars. I love that they have both an indoor and an outdoor bar with a bartender for each. The beer selection is amazing! Best in middle Georgia by far, and on a par with Taco Mac or a specialty beer bar. Join the Beer Club, it's worth it! Also they have a full selection of mixed drinks if beer isn't your thing. The menu... atmosphere notwithstanding, they actually do have the same fantastic and wide selection as any other Mellow Mushroom! I recommend every one of their whimsical pizza selections. Or, roll your own for the perfect taste combination! If you like spicy, any of the Creole selections are great. Toppings are always fresh, and things that should crunch, do. The pesto and alfredo sauces are both excellent compliments to almost any toppings. Great crispy crust too. I've also ordered many of their salads and never been disappointed. They will split the salads for you, even the small ones, and will put dressing on the side, just ask. Just make sure you yell your order loud enough so the waitress knows what you want, it will save you lots of disappointment later. Our waitress could barely hear our order. We had to constantly repeat ourselves because of the noise, and missed the part about "leave off the olives and onions." We had to pick olives and onions off our pizza and almost cried over the lost cheese and yummy pesto that clung to the discarded tidbits! Also be ready to yell or wave to get your waitress' attention. Like I said, the place is always busy. They try hard, but expect the waitstaff to be stretched a bit thin. At the end of our meal, we each ordered one of their dessert dishes to try. We passed everything around the table and it was all good!

3.5 Stars Tried the cajun pizza and made a pizza of our own with the jerk chicken as one of our toppings. The pizza had a nice crust to it, not too thick or thin. The beer was cold and the service was fast and friendly! We ended up staying there a bit late, but they never tried to force us out!

Perhaps my 3 star vote is a little unfair. I'd give most Mellow locations(Atl area) 5 stars but this one loses two stars. Not because of the food though, which is just as awesome as any other location. Great options for things other than pizza which is a huge plus for the lactose intolerant. But this location is pretty hideous inside if you ask me. They've got these big dumb orbs hanging all around the wall blocking their TVs. Stupid. If you wanna hang out and watch a game good luck finding a decent spot. The patio looks like it could be good, but nobody uses it and they don't do a good job of promoting it. It's too modernized or something, does't have the same feel as other Mellow Mushrooms. Ok done. I feel a little guilty about my snoody review, but whatever. Friendly service and good food at least so it won't keep me from going back. Oh...and it doesn't seem right that I can't have a beer at Mellow Mushroom on Sunday...stupid south Georgia.

Interesting gourmet pizza options on the menu, but the product somewhat under-delivers. I found the crust noticably sweet and somewhat spongy (frozen? underdone?) and the sauce a bit bland. The ingredients seemed fresh though, so all told it is a better pie than you'll get from one of the big chain delivery companies. Greek salad was fresh, but ingredients not as flavorful as you might expect for a Greek salad--supermarket-quality calamata olives, for example. Though this isn't properly a brew pub, I'm adding it to my list because of the great beer selection with some hard to find delicious beers. However, some of the beers are much more expensive than others, and the beer menu doesn't give prices. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised that Hobgoblin (a good Brit pale ale) was expensive, but $6 for a pint? YGBSM! That was a surprise when the bill came. Service was efficient and polite, but too rushed to be friendly (or warn me about the $6 beers...) On the plus side, I got a table for one despite arriving in the midst of the GA/Auburn game and a kiddie birthday party--well done. Lots of big-screen TVs all over made watching the football game easy, so it's a good stand-in for a sports bar..

Love this place. The atmosphere is fun, but the food is awesome. Always fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. They are known for their pizza's but they have a wide variety on the menu. Large selection of beers and service is always good. Can get a little slow since they are so busy but always good.

I like pizza. Who doesn't? For a chain restaurant this place does well. The pizza is consistent and always hot! Pizza lovers and beer lovers check this place out!!

The service was slow with a 20 minute wait, with a place with very few customers. The food was hot, but had food that was out of date and in the food poisioning area. A customer walked by me stumbling around and was clearly drunk. A place not good for family or your health.

I am a fan.

I love the pizza here just wished it was cheaper. The Philly cheesesteak is also good.

This is the best pizza you are going to find in this town. The eclectic menu offers traditional toppings and favorites to more exotic creations that offer something for anyone and everyone. I recommend the pretzels and the kosmic karma pizza. Trust me... You'll thank me.

Fantastic selection of pizzas and drinks. I really enjoyed the outside dining area!

Great pizza place and SO much fun for trivia on Thursday nights! Even when packed the food comes out quickly and tastes great. Ask for Melissa, she's the BEST server in the place!!!

This place has delicious pizza! They have a variety of pizzas or you can build your own. There is other food on the menu besides pizza. Also, they have a variety of beers & mixed drinks. You can eat inside or they have a patio. Yummy pizza & friendly people! We are definitely going back!

Can get a little slow since they are so busy but always good.

great beer selection and atmosphere. these two things will draw me back time and time again. the pizza is very sub-par. great hangout, just eat before you come.
Based on two visits, very similar experience to Angela W.'s review: Rude staff. Long waits to place order. Long waits to receive order. Sub par, over priced food. Inexperienced, unskilled bartenders. Lack of atmosphere. Polo-clad mob in the parking lot.
(1)
Angela W.

Mellow mushroom is one of our favorite places to go. Everything we go in the staff is friendly, the managers interact with the customers, and the food is spot on. We have never had a bad experience with them, and will continue to be regular patrons.

There is young lady named Savannah and I always call in my order for pickup and she is very polite and courteous to me, and when I go in to pick up my order she knows me by face and quickly get my order and provide the best customer service (which is hard to find these days). She is definitely an asset to this restaurant. I tip because of her.

This is the best pizza that I have eaten in a long time. Nice Beer selection, real cool atmosphere, friendly staff! I ate there 4X in two weeks!

The possibilities are endless! I have had some of the best salads and pizza from this MM. If they have the ingredients, you can make it. The staff is friendly and the Questionairrey game on Tuesday at 7pm is a lot of fun! We try to go every week!

Pizza was quite good, it's not the same as NJ pie but it was much better than I was expecting. This may be my go to pizza place from now on. Give it a try!

Great place. Except if you eat on the patio. People are allowed to smoke out there- and there is nothing nastier than the smell of smoke while I'm eating.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

We were seated at a wobbly table in the back that had a huge chip in it. Our server came out right away and took our drink order. They have a great selection of beers. The drinks came out quickly and we ordered an appetizer and pizza for dinner. Then the wait began. I guess it was only twenty minutes or so, but that still seems like a long time for pretzel bites. They were excellent, though. Really tasty Be sure to get the cheese with them (even at an additional $2.99). Three bites into our appetizer, the entrees came and then we struggled to find some space on the table. The pizza is great. Plenty of toppings and a great tasting crust. I like a little more sauce, but they were still great. I got a Mighty Meaty and my husband ordered the House Special. The server was super friendly and the décor is a lot of fun. Just be prepared to wait a while for your order. I think next time I would just place a carry out order.

Based on two visits, very similar experience to Angela W.'s review: Rude staff. Long waits to place order. Long waits to receive order. Sub par, over priced food. Inexperienced, unskilled bartenders. Lack of atmosphere. Polo-clad mob in the parking lot.
(1)Angela W.

(5)A G.
There is young lady named Savannah and I always call in my order for pickup and she is very polite and courteous to me, and when I go in to pick up my order she knows me by face and quickly get my order and provide the best customer service (which is hard to find these days). She is definitely an asset to this restaurant. I tip because of her.

Great pizza. Would like to come more often
(5)Matt K.
Mellow mushroom is one of our favorite places to go. Everything we go in the staff is friendly, the managers interact with the customers, and the food is spot on. We have never had a bad experience with them, and will continue to be regular patrons.
(5)Cesar G.
Good service, decent selection of beers! Bartender knowledgable and very easy going. Would go back ( specially in this area).
(4)Russell J.

(2)Steven H.
(3)Matt H.
(4)Melinda F.
(1)Emily V.
Last night we discovered the gluten free thin crust, delicious! Dana behind the bar is totally awesome. Really enjoyed being here on a non trivia night, will def be coming more frequently.
(4)Sha T.
Great pizza! If you love a good pie and beer this is the place to go. Staff is friendly. Can get packed and rather loud inside. There is a nice patio outside if you want a relaxing atmosphere.
(4)Wayne T.
Love this place. The food is top notch! The wings are some of the best in town. There desserts are hugh!
(5)Ashley G.
This place is mind blowing when it comes to the tasting of the pizza!!' My husband and I love coming here and the food always amazing . Great for a Casual date night !!
(5)Zack A.
Good pizza not the best but good. Ingredients are all fresh and and staff is awesome. Not quite NY but it will due for Georgia.
(5)Mauri T.
Great pizza. I love all the variations! The Hippie Dippy Trio is a good appetizer with bruschetta, olive tapenade, and hummus. Wish they had hot beverages. It's pretty loud but we love it.
(4)Andrea L.
The first time I went to this Mellow Mushroom location was back in 2010. If I remember correctly, it was during a trivia night and we had a blast. This review is based on the last time I went there, a few days ago. Mellow Mushroom is definitely not cheap, but it doesn't break the bank either. The pizza is high quality and for you beer-lovers, they have a huge selection, especially on tap. Service was wonderful and the food was prepared well. We had a nice stuffed portobello mushroom over mixed greens for an appetizer. For the main meal, we enjoyed a medium pizza "half and half" with one side being Buffalo Chicken and the other side being the Philosopher. The Buffalo Chicken side was tasty, my only qualm is the fact that the blue cheese dressing was kinda dumped on and pooled on the pizza as opposed to a nice drizzle. The Philosopher is a white pizza with artichoke, beef, portobello mushroom, and olives, except we had it sans olives. Delicious! The décor is really cool and the ambiance is fun. Definitely a cool place to eat.
(4)Jennifer P.
The possibilities are endless! I have had some of the best salads and pizza from this MM. If they have the ingredients, you can make it. The staff is friendly and the Questionairrey game on Tuesday at 7pm is a lot of fun! We try to go every week!
(5)Martina D.
(2)Christopher B.
I'm giving them one star because they Won't let me have my dog in the outside patio. Pretty ridiculous considering they are supposed to be a chill place.
(1)Latoia O.
Great food and service! Check out the steak and cheese calzone with vegan cheese! The bomb.com
(5)Kristin M.
(4)Kevin l.
Wow.. I was really impressed with this place! We ordered a few pizzas, drinks and desserts and ALL was so great! The waitress Courtney was fabulous, super friendly and a pleasure to talk to! I would recommend his place to anyone I know! Ohh... The red skin potato pie is BOMB!!
(5)Trey H.
Went here to watch a football game so I ordered a pitcher of 312 Goose Island. That one pitcher cost me $24.99....... I didn't realize I was in Hollywood. Even tried to talk to the manager but she wasn't any help.
(1)K M.
(2)Bill S.
(1)Leslie K.
My son and I used to have date night every Thursday at this place:) we loved it! The service was always good and the food also. I absolutely love their hoagies and I never eat sandwiches when I eat out! Prices are decent and the atmosphere is great:)
(5)F K.
The service was slow with a 20 minute wait, with a place with very few customers. The food was hot, but had food that was out of date and in the food poisioning area. A customer walked by me stumbling around and was clearly drunk. A place not good for family or your health.
(1)Shaggy S.
I like pizza. Who doesn't? For a chain restaurant this place does well. The pizza is consistent and always hot! Pizza lovers and beer lovers check this place out!!
(4)Jonathan H.
(2)Wesley B.
Slow service, high price I do not know why is so busy. The food is just ok and takes forever to get to the table.
(2)Brian J.
Another visit yielded a delicious appetizer, tasty pizza, and some fine college football action on the big screen TVs. I'm glad I gave the Mellow Mushroom a second chance, because it was a much better evening.
(4)Scott R.
Pizza was quite good, it's not the same as NJ pie but it was much better than I was expecting. This may be my go to pizza place from now on. Give it a try!
(4)Sarah R.
Great place. Except if you eat on the patio. People are allowed to smoke out there- and there is nothing nastier than the smell of smoke while I'm eating.
(4)Zanna M.
(4)M A.
(5)Kaileighandra P.
(4)DeWayne G.
This is the best pizza that I have eaten in a long time. Nice Beer selection, real cool atmosphere, friendly staff! I ate there 4X in two weeks!
(4)Kim C.
Pizza is always delicious - way better than any chain I've tried. Environment is fun - good place to unwind. Calzones are yummy and they have a large selection of beer, along with a Beer Tour club. Love this place!
(5)Brian D.
My gf loves the place. The pizza is good for the most part. The price is a bit too steep for my taste. Especially for the portion sizes. I like the environment, but not the best of other mellow mushroom that i have visited.
(3)Amy F.
Fast, reasonably priced lunch specials and friendly service! Ask for Janey - she was an awesome server!
(4)Richard H.
(4)Jeff H.
(5)Shanda D.
After 9 hours of being on the road driving from Miami to Warner Robins, I was so happy to find this place. I was in the mood of good food and the Mellow Mushroom delivered. I had the Tempeh Hoagie; the price was great and the serving size was very generous. I would recommend this place to fiends.
(5)D Y.
(4)L. J.
(4)Michelle C.
I am a fan.
(5)Jennie P.
Yummy!
(4)Michael H.
(5)Carol A.
(2)Emily Y.
Great pizza place and SO much fun for trivia on Thursday nights! Even when packed the food comes out quickly and tastes great. Ask for Melissa, she's the BEST server in the place!!!
(5)Philip H.
Excellent pizza and fantastic atmosphere. Next time in the area we will definitely go.
(4)Ashley C.
This place has delicious pizza! They have a variety of pizzas or you can build your own. There is other food on the menu besides pizza. Also, they have a variety of beers & mixed drinks. You can eat inside or they have a patio. Yummy pizza & friendly people! We are definitely going back!
(5)John R.
Over-priced and I have had better pizza at Pizza Hut. Ate there once and don't plan to go there again.
(2)Patricia H.
We enjoy going as a family. Love the Caesar, Caesar pizza.
(5)Kevin C.
I love the pizza here just wished it was cheaper. The Philly cheesesteak is also good.
(4)Alan S.
This is the best pizza you are going to find in this town. The eclectic menu offers traditional toppings and favorites to more exotic creations that offer something for anyone and everyone. I recommend the pretzels and the kosmic karma pizza. Trust me... You'll thank me.
(4)Dennis G.
Fantastic selection of pizzas and drinks. I really enjoyed the outside dining area!
(5)Shonda W.
I enjoy not only the atmosphere, but the food is great. I enjoy the ability to create your own pizza and the array of beers to choose from is awesome and goes perfectly with the pizza. I would recommend the cheese bread.
(5)Jess K.
(5)Bela Z.
(3)Teal S.
I love this place! Great drink specials on Wednesdays and Fridays! The long islands are to die for. The pizza is awesome too :)
(5)D D.
(3)Melissa B.
(3)Robert B.
(3)Cal L.
Love this place. The atmosphere is fun, but the food is awesome. Always fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. They are known for their pizza's but they have a wide variety on the menu. Large selection of beers and service is always good. Can get a little slow since they are so busy but always good.
(4)Michael R.
great beer selection and atmosphere. these two things will draw me back time and time again. the pizza is very sub-par. great hangout, just eat before you come.

(5)Shaggy S.
I like pizza. Who doesn't? For a chain restaurant this place does well. The pizza is consistent and always hot! Pizza lovers and beer lovers check this place out!!
(4)F K.
The service was slow with a 20 minute wait, with a place with very few customers. The food was hot, but had food that was out of date and in the food poisioning area. A customer walked by me stumbling around and was clearly drunk. A place not good for family or your health.
(1)L. J.

I am a fan.
(5)Jennie P.
Yummy!
(4)Michael H.
(5)Carol A.
(2)Emily Y.
Great pizza place and SO much fun for trivia on Thursday nights! Even when packed the food comes out quickly and tastes great. Ask for Melissa, she's the BEST server in the place!!!
(5)Ashley C.
This place has delicious pizza! They have a variety of pizzas or you can build your own. There is other food on the menu besides pizza. Also, they have a variety of beers & mixed drinks. You can eat inside or they have a patio. Yummy pizza & friendly people! We are definitely going back!
(5)Philip H.
Excellent pizza and fantastic atmosphere. Next time in the area we will definitely go.
(4)John R.
Over-priced and I have had better pizza at Pizza Hut. Ate there once and don't plan to go there again.
(2)Patricia H.
We enjoy going as a family. Love the Caesar, Caesar pizza.
(5)Shonda W.
I enjoy not only the atmosphere, but the food is great. I enjoy the ability to create your own pizza and the array of beers to choose from is awesome and goes perfectly with the pizza. I would recommend the cheese bread.
(5)Jess K.
(5)Bela Z.
(3)Teal S.
I love this place! Great drink specials on Wednesdays and Fridays! The long islands are to die for. The pizza is awesome too :)
(5)D D.
(3)Melissa B.
(3)Robert B.
(4)Krista M.
(4)Michael T.
(2)Chris D.
(5)Melinda F.
We went back this past Friday since that is where our youngest son wanted to go for his birthday. This experience was better. Mike is the best server! Next time we go back, we will definitely request to sit in his section.
(4)Holly G.
On point today! Awesome service and delicious foods! Always friendly staff, love the Enlightened spinach salad, so yummy! Always clean and food is always fresh. I took hubby here when he returned from Spain, where he was deployed serval months, and he really enjoyed himself :)

Great pizza. Would like to come more often
(5)Matt H.
(4)A G.
There is young lady named Savannah and I always call in my order for pickup and she is very polite and courteous to me, and when I go in to pick up my order she knows me by face and quickly get my order and provide the best customer service (which is hard to find these days). She is definitely an asset to this restaurant. I tip because of her.
(5)Art S.
Bartender Dana is great! That's why I rated it 2 stars rather than 1. Manger comes up arms crossed rude as can be and says there is no vaping in here! Also no wifi!!! 2015...this place is stuck in the past.
(2)Steven H.
(3)Emily V.
(5)DeWayne G.
This is the best pizza that I have eaten in a long time. Nice Beer selection, real cool atmosphere, friendly staff! I ate there 4X in two weeks!
(4)Martina D.
(2)Jennifer P.
The possibilities are endless! I have had some of the best salads and pizza from this MM. If they have the ingredients, you can make it. The staff is friendly and the Questionairrey game on Tuesday at 7pm is a lot of fun! We try to go every week!
(5)Christopher B.
(4)Kevin l.
Wow.. I was really impressed with this place! We ordered a few pizzas, drinks and desserts and ALL was so great! The waitress Courtney was fabulous, super friendly and a pleasure to talk to! I would recommend his place to anyone I know! Ohh... The red skin potato pie is BOMB!!
(5)Jonathan H.
(4)Zanna M.
(4)M A.
(5)Kaileighandra P.
(4)Jeff H.
(5)D Y.
