No mistake here. I've never been to a Mellow Mushroom and now I wonder why. Nicky our server, was a sweetheart, fast and efficient. The restaurant is clean and the bruschetta was excellent. They do have an eclectic menu, not just pizza. But, the menu does read well. The hogies were great.

Aside from the cool decor and the stellar Hulk statue in the front, this Mellow Mushroom was nothing special. We weren't greeted when we walked in, and we didn't know what to do because it wasn't clear with the hostess was. Someone walked in behind us seem to know and put their name down. So we did the same. We were just told OK, I put your name down. She didn't even tell us there was a wait for how long. No big deal, though. We waited about 10 minutes. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. We got our pizza relatively quickly, and it was good. Basic Mellow Mushroom pizza. Hot, crunchy, and tasty.

Decent food. Horrible service. Our waitress was nice enough but not a good server at all. Slow to bring drinks. We had to ask for things multiple times. It was not that busy at all. When our food came one entree was missing and it became apparent that she forgot to put it in. So everyone has finished eating by the time the other food came out. The manager came over and apologized and said she would take the calzone off the check but then when we got our ticket is was still on there and we had to ask them to remove it. They were nice about it but it was just kind of a shit show.

An update to my original post seven months ago... I have just been private messaged by the owner offering to make it up to me as I'm sure every other reviewer that left an honest bad review has also. However, I see the good reviews (which must have lucked out and had good staff working that night) have been responded to by him. How deceptive, respond to negative reviews in private and good in the public view. Also, he waited seven months to contact me! Bo, your business deserves to fail. You are a poor business owner and manager. Marco's pizza is every bit as good and better than yours and when I'm in town and feel like pizza i stop there and will never visit your establishment again. I can only hope that when you close down that Marco's takes your location. Good bye and good riddance i don't need your lackluster food or pretentious service.

When we went to Mellow Mushrooms, it was still early in the day so it wasnt packed. I think maybe 6-7 tables thats it. When we arrived at our seat, I looked around to take it all in. I noticed that the floors were FILTHY!!!! There was crumbs, napkins, straw wrappers and pieces of food in the middle of the walkway and under the tables. There were about 6 employees standing around in the front...just standing there chatting. One of these employees should have been sweeping/mopping the floors, wiping down the tables. There really is no excuse for this filthy appearance. They have only been open what a month.

We loved the spinach artichoke dip! We did the Philosopher's Pie and it was great! This place is a bit on the pricey side considering a large pizza from Papa John is around $12 and a large there was over $20.

Ordered 30 minutes ago, everyone else at table is through eating, my hoagie was not served, twice, still waiting. Manager was coming to apologize, 10 minutes ago. Other than that. Fantastic. As st manager just came by, unaware of the problem. Flash forward 15, no contact.

Ok, so it has slightly improved from a month ago. Staff was a bit friendly and more acknowledgeable, but wait time still wasn't great. The pizza was good so that balances the wait time a little bit. Now cleanliness is not a priority for this place. Once again, the floors are filthy. I mean crumbs, pieces of food, dirt and dust cover the floor. What a turn off. I hope their kitchen staff has better cleaning practices than the front of the restaurant. We'll try them again in a couple of months...

The food was great. The salad was super fresh and the service was fast. Ask for Andrea, she is fast, funny, and friendly!

Love Mellow Mushroom Pizza, takes me back to the days in Athens GA. Had one here in Remerton but they tried to run it like a college bar and it failed. The new Mellow is awesome!! Huge, clean, great bar, 40 beers on tap, great outdoor seating, best pizza in town by a mile!! Service has been spotty but they just opened and very crowded but the pizza was fantastic!!

The service was horrible. It took them 10 minutes to get me my Guinness and I saw 3 different tables come in after we did and they got their pies BEFORE we did. It took 45 minutes to get the order of pretzels and they were average at best. After watching A 4th table enter and get food, I had enough. I won't go back there

We love Mellow Mushroom and we'd be here every Sunday if they had NFL Sunday Ticket... Instead we're banished to the ever disappointing Buffalo Wild Wings. Oh, and the Kosmic Karma with sausage is worth a try!

Update. The service is very slow. The food is not worth the wait. It takes on average 45 min. Plus to just get a pizza with no app.

Came here with my wife. Our waitress was nice but the overall service was very slow. We ordered almost immediately and waited for our food for 45+ minutes for our appetizer and a little longer for our entree. The food was good but what was advertised as grilled chicken was definitely boiled. We will not return.

What a fun place to eat! Went for lunch last week and was told a 20minute wait but was seated in less than 10minutes. Choose to sit at that the bar instead of the outdoor seating suggested because it was a couch?? Not sure how to eat a calzone on a couch? Best spinach dip I've ever had, enjoyed the calzone even if it was not the one we ordered. We tried to eat there again several days later but the wait was over an hour long, will def. try again.

The difference between the new and old mellow mushroom of Valdosta is night and day. The new one is spotless, not because it's new but because it's designed that way. Fresh, modern, and open. I seem to trust a kitchen more when you can see them make your food. They have the chefs making your order right out in the open. The pizza is good, the beer cheese pretzels are great. Get a whole order as an appetizer, you won't be sorry. The bar is a real bar. The bartenders know their stuff, and the bar is fully stocked. Go there and I think you'll be completely satisfied.
