I just want to take a second and express my unhappiness and lack of thrill about my last 2 experiences here. One simple word can sum it up, horrible. Your servers and cooks seem inadequate to prepare something correctly. You're beer system is old, outdated and flat. Both times the same manager was there, not sure if that's relevant. Last night he actually offered to take something off my bill, yep a whopping 10%. From the original beer taking 20 min to pour to not knowing the difference in regular fries and sweet potato fries, to not knowing how to prepare a burger, to bring served crumbs as chips, I'm done. I will never enter this establishment again and I'll also recommend that my friends venture to other locations for their dining needs. Tifton Applebee's, get your act together.

My wife and I have given this restaurant a couple of chances and each time they fail miserably! The customer service leaves a lot be desired. Tonight our waitress Melissa had trouble multi tasking and taking care of her tables. She ignored two tables completely for almost thirty minutes. The establishment as a whole needs new management and training in customer service. We will not be coming back to this Applebees again.

My husband & I had traveled for 8 hours when we stopped at the Holiday Inn Express for the night. We wanted to eat somewhere within walking distance & Applebee's was the closest. As always I checked Yelp & we decided on Applebee's despite the poor reviews. It was about 7pm on Monday night. I checked the parked cars & most were locals. We walked in with low expectations and were pleasantly surprised. We waited 2 minutes for the hostess to return to her station while she was with people at another table, leaving menus and answering questions. There were a lot of empty tables. The hostess seated us & said the Monday night special is $6 for all hamburgers! About 3 minutes later Christie was at our table taking our drink orders. She brought our drinks within 4 minutes. We asked questions about the special because it seemed unreal that a $10.49 burger was only $6. But indeed it was! We ordered the swiss cheese & mushroom burgers & it came with ample amount of fries. During our meal 3 different people walked around our side of the room, at least 6 times, asking if everything was OK & did we need anything. We thought that was excellent service. The food arrived quickly & I told my husband I'd wanted pickles & tomatoes. He told me the menu said you need to request them as well as lettuce & onion. We were asked if we wanted mayo or mustard but after it arrived I decided the thick hamburger with swiss cheese, mushrooms and special sauce didn't need anything else & I was glad I'd forgotten to ask for anything else. We'd also forgotten to ask it to be cooked medium. The hamburger was perfect. Moist, thick, tender, great flavor & didn't fall apart. My husband said he wished he could write a review because it was the best hamburger he'd had in many years. Once we were asked if we needed anything & we didn't but after she left our table, my husband realized he needed a drink refill. We set his glass at the edge of the table and within 2 or 3 minutes 2 glasses of water were set on the table! Everyone was friendly & I watched how the other diners were treated and from what I saw they were waited on quickly with no problems. I'm sorry for everyone who had problems but apparently those reviews brought about good changes.

So my coworkers and I are in Tifton, Ga for a work trip. We decided to go to Applebee's for a late dinner. Our serve Brittany was great!!! So attentive and very friendly even with all the commotion of karaoke going on. We ordered an app, dinner and Bahama mamas. Then decided we wanted old fashioneds. We got the old fashioneds and they were HORRIBLE!!! Worst shit I ever tasted. Idk what the bar tender call her self making but she definitely did not measure the ingredients in the drink out. I think there was too much bitters add it to it. I told Brittany we were not satisfied with drinks and asked for a different drink. Shortly after the manager, Ken came to ask what the issue was with our drinks. I told him that it did not taste how an old fashioned should taste and that there was too much bitters in the drink. He rudely told me that the drink has bitters in it. I told him that we didn't want the drinks and he said he'd have our server ask what else we wanted. Shortly after, Brittany came to ask what we'd like to change our drinks to. We told her. I saw Ken pull her aside and blast her out like it was her fault the drinks were bad. I just think that was bad practice and poor management. Ken needs to be reprimanded for his rude behavior towards customers or find a new line of work. He is an asshole!!!

Driving through Georgia, stopped in basically because they are one of the few sppts open after 10pm. Pleasantly surprised by some Monday night specials; 1/2 priced app's, all burgers $6, & 2 for 1 drinks. The burgers were excellent, same goes for the broccoli cheddar soup. Crispy chicken tacos very tasty would have been a small portion if they were full price. BUT BETTER THAN THE FOOD AND PRICES WAS THE SERVER. HER NAME WAS JOCELYN AND SHE'S AN ASSET TO THIS RESTAURANT. The hostess was also very helpful and informative, although I dont know her name to give credit. Sorry Apple bees has closed many locations in the Chicago area...I cant wait to go back--even at full price.

About Applebee's
Applebee is an American full-service restaurant brand popularly known for its signature Riblets. Applebee was conceptualized in 1980 by Bill and TJ Palmer in Atlanta, Georgia. At first, the restaurant was named T.J. Applebee's RX for Edibles and Elixirs. After the concept was acquired by W.R. Grace and Company, the restaurant was renamed as Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar. Later the company and the Applebee's concept changed hands with Abe Gustin and John Hamra who started the first Applebee's franchise restaurant in Kansas City.
Later in 2007, IHOP Corp. now known as DineEquity, Inc. acquired Applebee's and began their journey together to make Applebee's the world's largest full-service restaurant chain. Today, Applebee's serves at more than 1,830 locations worldwide. The Applebee's menu ranges from Appetizers and Salads to heavy meals consisting of ribs and steak. Although the trademark dish Riblets is a hot favorite among regular Applebee's dwellers, the restaurant also serves some amazing burgers, sandwiches, pasta, and salads.
