Just tried this yesterday while visiting in Thomaston, and what a delight!! Very nice sandwich counter, with excellent food and very friendly service. I had the Reuben ( well, I chose ones of their alternatives made with Cajun Turkey), which was excellent! My family had the Chicken Salad and both enjoyed it! We also sampled the pimento cheese, and, well, we wish we could have eaten more so that we could have enjoyed more of that too! They are very generous when making their sandwiches, so you do have a nice meal! They have an ice cream counter with several selections. I thought my serving was generous for the price paid, and it was good! I really enjoyed the Country Cupboard and Deli! Recommended!

This is my wife's favorite place. She loves the chicken salad croissant. This place is very country. From what I understand this place is a family owned local place. Enjoy.

First time in Thomatson and this place was highly recommended. And for good reason. Good. Healthy. Clean. Polite. What else could you ask for. I had the special. Turkey, pastrami Ruben. Wow. Great the old fashion way. Partner had the chicken salad. She said it was very good also. We also ordered the potato soup which was also very good. In all, it was highly enjoyable. So, if your in the area and want a good sandwich, come to this place. You won't be sorry. Only sorry you didn't. Highly recommend.

My grandmother lives in Thomaston, and whenever we visit we make sure to stop by the Country Cupboard for lunch. They have amazing sandwiches, soup, cake, and other goodies. The family that runs this restaurant is so sweet. They give huge portions and the food is always so fresh. They would be soooo successful in a bigger market but this location is always busy. 5 stars, stellar service and amazing food for very little money- what more do you need?

The sandwiches are a good size and incredibly good, fresh and tasty. I've never actually been in this establishment as I normally dispatch one of my minions to fetch me a sammich, although I have driven by it.

I love this place. It's your standard deli but the people are so incredibly nice, it's clean and fairly quick. They have a little grocery area which has items you might not find at the grocery store.
