Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Best korean chciken in town. I eat here once a month at least. I drive from buckhead just for the chicken pizza combo.

I came across this venue while searching for fried chicken. The images for the chicken look great and appetizing. I ordered a combo: crispy fried wings & a 10" Korean steak pizza. The pizza was great; it tasted better than pizza I've had from American joints. The pizza is topped with marinaded beef, onions, mushrooms and green & red peppers. The wings were great also; only one of them was too crispy to enjoy, but otherwise they were lightly seasoned and fried. I may come back here just for the wings. The $18.99 price for the pizza and wings is a great value. There were close to 20 wings in the order. I got my order to-go, but there posters on the wall advertising Hite; my favorite Korean beer. If I dined in, I would have ordered it!

Typical Korean style chicken place. Had their wings and popcorn chicken with sauce on the side. Cheese pizza for the kids. Good with cold beer. Service can be a bit quicker but friendly staff.

This review is for the chicken. It's just not good. Not sure what the other reviewers ate that was so awesome but I would pass.

Used to be called "Cheogajip," but like the rest of the franchise in Atlanta, the owners decided paying for the franchise fee is not at all worth it, as most Atlantans know about the three branches anyway. The change in its name, however, is not reflected in the menu. But please, improve your selection of beer please. I cannot enjoy chicken & beer with the cheap yellow water that this place offers. Argh

Can't speak for the dine-in as we are always doing a take out. This place can be a hit or miss. Sometimes they have a great tasting chicken, and sometimes you will get a chicken meat that taste like a dead rat. I may try the other location in John's Creek later on as it was mentioned by other yelpers.

Good amout!!!

So far North of Atlanta's best Korean Chicken. If your looking for saucy chicken wings or popcorn chicken stop by Suwanee Chicken. We ordered togo: Crispy chicken wing box with their signature yangnyum sauce on the side. Although the chicken were crisp and hot, the sauce was cold as ice. Must microwave the sauce. The sweet potato pizza is to die for! Sweet and savory. Greatly paired with a light ale.

Their chicken is soooo fresh! And no words can ever be enough for the amazing Sweet potatoes pizza~~

A fusion restaurant that combines korean flavors with american favorites. However, the decorations are very typical of a korean restaurants. high sectional dividers for privacy. I had the korean steak pizza + popcorn chicken combo. I thought it was pretty good. Flavors were good. Def going to have to try the other pizzas next time. The popcorn chicken order was HUGE. i didnt expect to have such a huge plate. Overall, a pretty good place to go with friends. Order the pizza + chicken combo for a group of like 4.

Our main reason for choosing this location for Korean style pizza and fried chicken was because of the location. We had not ventured this far North out of Duluth, and I did not even know that there was another massive Assi plaza in Suwannee. The map is not correct when mapping to this location, so be careful. The overall feeling of Cho-gat-jip reminds me of a Pizza Hut from the 80's. The décor and menus are very commercial because they have 1,200 franchise locations worldwide. cheogajip.co.kr Of course, we had to try the Korean style "peecha." Which had corn, all kinds of other stuff, and then sweet potato mouse rolled inside the outside crust. The overall flavor was not as sweet as I was expecting, which is good. After watching some of my favorite North Americans in Korea pizza special, I was worried I might not like it. youtube.com/watch?v=3TA5… But, it was delicious! However, ordering just the plain Bulgogi version within nothing in the crust is very boring--- so I like adding some Bulgogi to the sweet potato crust for a few extra bucks. The chicken is super crispy on the outside and soft and tender on the inside. I ordered the "Sweet and Spicy" sauce, which is really freakin' spicy! And, I eat ultra-spicy food on a daily basis. I recommend getting the chicken plain and getting the sauces on the side, just in case. They don't just serve wings, but also have whole fried chicken, which is best served with an ice cold pitcher of beer. So, you can treat this place as a Hof or as a family pizza place. Either way, it is an experience.

unless you happen to be in the mood on a tuesday, you're better off going to the love letter chicken & pizza by the john's creek h-mart. even though it's the same franchise, it's done better. the pizza has way more topping, and the chicken is fried crunchy the way it should be. oh, the reason i mentioned tuesday is that love letter is closed that day. :)

Ordered a sweet potato pizza, for 10" and 11 bucks. The topping on it is so few, consider it has some meat on it, it would be a piece of small meat and chopped into very tiny piece which you have to search it on your pizza. Same for all other toppings on it. Overall, I felt it's pricy for a cheese pizza (since all the topping so few and is ignorable.....).

I really like the fire popcorn chicken (only when it's mildly spicy and sweet), the potato pizza and the sweet potato pizza (which are both awesome)! The regular fried chicken is not greasy at all, but it's also a bit bland and not nearly as salty as American fried chicken. This is a no-frills restaurant with reasonable prices around $10 for the chicken and $12 for a whole pizza.

Another Korean chicken joint. Nice thin, crispy skin with no grease factor, and mostly juicy insides. The fried bird is cut into chunks although not all of them had enough meat on them. I also got two sauces on the side instead of directly on the bird: sweet and spicy. The spicy sauce was my favorite and had some bite to it. Bon Chon was much better, wish we still had it in Atlanta. This also comes with pickled radish panchan which was very good, a bit sweeter than the usual taste, and a cole slaw/corn mix. Cheogajip chicken translates to 'mother in laws chicken', since in Korea it is tradition for a mother in law to cook a hen for the son in law, as a sign of hospitality. A decent place to go if you are in the area...

First off, the address is wrong. 1291 Old Peachtree rd Suwanee, ga 30024 This was the first time I've heard of korean style pizza. I was a little worried that I was not going to like it. Anyways, they have combo deals with a large pizza and a chicken wings and soda for 25. Definitely opt for that if you go to try both. Pizza was good. We got the bulgogi pizza. The pizza does not have a suace. Its cheese/meat/pizza. If you order it without the sweet potatoe in the crust, it'll be a pretty thin crust pizza. I liked the stuffed sweet potato crust, but not everyone did. Really depends on your taste. Either way, very well done. We ordered half bulgogi and half supreme just to try incise we didn't like. Next time we will do the whole thing bulgogi. The fried chicken wing order was huge. Tons of chicken wings came out. ALl their flavors have garlic in it. You can control the spiciness. I"d say get the hot if you can handle some heat. Its no too bad. They have coors light on tap too if you want some beer. Pretty good place. Definitely give it a try.

best korean style chicken! i love the spicy sauce with chicken. boneless chicken is amazing. wings are very crispy on the outside. korean style pizzas are also amazing! my fav is the potato pizza. all orders come with salad and this salad... you have to try it. sometimes i crave the salad more than the pizza or the chicken. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE

Only place I've been to that has sweet potato pizza..I never knew it existed ..it was so yummy ..and the fried chicken tossed in the sweet and spicy sauce was delicious.. I had some chicken leftovers and ate it with white rice the next day :) ..I'll have to try the stuffed crust next time for sure FYI: You get radish and cabbage salad banchan with your meal (not sure if its cuz we ordered the chicken ..or if it just automatically comes out before any type of meal) Service was is a little slow when I went ..there's only one person serving ..she was also the cashier Your food is made to order ...so yes..u will have to wait ..or call ahead

I've gotten at least 4 free chickens from here with my 'buy 9, get 10th chicken free" cards. Yes, that's how much I love this place. It started one time when I flew home from college. My parents picked me up from the airport and handed me a box of Cheogajip chicken. It was... the most delicious fried chicken I've ever had. Sure I was a malnourished alcoholic college kid, and it wasn't too hard to appease my stomach, but OHH MY GOODNESS. The fried chicken drenched in spicy yet sweet and tart sauce, the pickled radish... so, so good. Since then, it's become a tradition. Whenever I fly back home to Atlanta and a family member is picking me up, they bring over a box. One time my brother screwed up and forgot it. Thankfully, it was before 9pm, and we were able to pick up a box on the way home. Whew. The pizza is also to die for. It's "Korean style", meaning it's cuter and more compact and delicious. Just try the sweet potato pizza to see what it's like to have sweet potatoes on your pizza. If you don't like it, message me and I'll take the leftovers. I've only tried to "fire" flavor once. While it's delicious for the first few bites, the spice builds up. It's quite painful when I'm still hungry and want to munch on my favorite chicken, but my burning tongue prevents me from doing so. The price is something I'll just have to bear with ($15.99 for a box of chicken). I started getting the pizza + chicken combo for $24.99. Even with 1-2 other people, there are leftovers that I can savor on the next day. I've eaten in the place once or twice, but I just call in for an order and pick it up 20 mins later. Easy. Oh man, I need to go order a box right now.

im not a fan fan fan.....all i remember is how overly sweet/syrupy the sauce was. however, the "spicy" was SUPER SUPER SUPER spicy. the pickled radishes also tasted like they were pickled in aspartame sweetner, no bueno. i will not be back here, shorry! ps. located in the corner of the assi plaza shopping center

Nothing amazing or jaw dropping. Over all decent korean chicken place near my house but wouldn't go out of the way to eat here or get it togo. The place had Tv on but all korean news and was a bit boring and brought down the whole experience.
(3)Christie K.
I love the goguma (sweet potato) pizza! Tastes just like Korea~ I wish they had Bonchon chicken in Georgia, but My Favorite Chicken Cheogajip's spicy chicken is aight.
(3)Sylvia Y.
i love their spicy fried chicken. it reminds me of the chicken i had as a child growing up in Korea. collect their lil cards that you get for free chicken in the future. love their pickled radish... i rather have more radish than the salad, but oh wells.

I have to tell you, when it comes to Korean style fried chicken, I am a pretty tough critic. Hard to be totally pleased by any of the places here in Georgia as the chicken places in Korea are tough to beat. My Favorite Chicken Cheogajip does a good job in satisfying my korean chicken cravings, although not a perfect job. Apparently, they cut their chickens up from whole chickens every day to serve customers which I found to be quite noteworthy. I'm a big fan of Kyochon chicken in Korea, so while I haven't found any place quite like that here in the USA yet (price, flavor, or ease of eating), My Favorite Chicken Cheogajip does the closest job for me. The owners are really friendly, parking is easy, and the prices are reasonable. Some of the other things that I like about this place : 1 : good korean style pizza and chicken. 2 : Korean TV show makes the ambiance feel more Korea, though I wish they would occasionally play sports or something other than just Korean shows to attract more non-natives to come in and hang out. Also, just a suggestion, but instead of having sound from the TV, maybe mute the TV and just have subtitles, and add a music soundtrack to the store? I think that would make the environment more welcoming and hip. 3 : Menu is clear and simple. Pictures and prices. Take out menu was a plus. 4 : Point cards are available good for free chickens. Buy 10 get 1 Free i think is how it works. 5 : The inside area is spacious and comfortable for groups to come and just chill out to some chicken and brews, but I feel a few negative points discourage a feel easy, just come and relax and enjoy Korean style chicken type of feel. A few points I feel need adjustment : 1 : Sodas are served in cans. This made me feel that the drinks were not endless bottom sodas. I prefer fountain style drinks if possible. 2 : Chicken wings are not exclusively available. I am sort of a chicken wing nut myself, and occasionally, I just feel like wings, not the whole chicken as it's easier to eat imho. I wonder if they might be able to add that option to their menu? 3 : No music? I feel some music might add to a more welcoming flavor to the spot. The decor and feel of the place is definitely nice and welcoming. I feel if some minor adjustments were made, I would come to this place more often. I hope the business continues to succeed as the owners seem like such nice people. I will visit here whenever I can in the future and wish them the best! 4.3 stars, rounded up for good service make this place a 5 in my book.

Love the naked fried chicken and sweet potato pizza! We travel from Atlanta just for it! Wish they had more space!!

Okay, this place is really good...We drive to Atlanta to eat! My husband and I live in Orlando ( not ANY good korean places to here). So we occasionaly make the 6-7 hour drive to Atlanta to go on a 2-3 day eating and shopping spree!! One of my favorite places to visit is cheogajip. They have really good chicken and I also like their sweet potato pizza!! Its really worth going to and its not to far from the hotel we always stay at so another plus!
