Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Marco's every time. The pizza is always high quality and the service has always been prompt and perfect. My favorite is the veggie pizzas. I highly recommend this particular franchise. The staff there truly deliver a quality product, in my eyes.

Don't get anything from here unless it's pizza. I know, I know. This is a pizza place and that should go without saying, but if you are going to have sandwiches and wings on the menu, they should be done right. The sandwiches are scant on meat. The wings.. Simply awful. They are the kind that come pre breaded and frozen, they steamed them instead of frying them. They were mushy and disgusting. I ended up throwing them away and eating some pizza.

After reading the reviews on Marco's Pizza, we decided to give it a try today. Big mistake, like my husband said "if we never would have tried it, we never would have known". I went as far as reading the review in my home town of Grand Forks, ND. When the reviewer said "this place is strong in the running for second best pizza joint (nobody has toppled Rhombus Guys yet)", I couldn't believe what I was reading. The Suwanee location off of Buford Highway was not busy, only a few others were in the store. We were immediately waited on, and quickly received our soft drinks we had ordered. While waiting for our food to arrive, we had to ask the waitress if we could get a refill, which isn't something we should have to do. The problem is, our drinks were served in these nifty Pepsi paper cups (much like you get at a convenience store), I actually had to take off the lid hoping our waitress would notice and ask if we needed refills. The plates were actual paper plates, much like you would get at the pizza place at the Mall. Our pizza finally arrived, it looked tasty, but in reality, my husband and I were trying to think of the best description to give the pizza. We thought of a couple. 1. Convenience store pizza (my husband mentioned the convenience store over in Kennesaw, not to far from Kennesaw State College). 2. Chuck E Cheese 3. Medium Value Pizza off of Patrick Mill Rd - no longer open 4. Little Casers Pizza 5. Pizza you would find in a food court at the mall The pizza really wasn't all that great, the only good part of it was the crust, the rest was just ah, well, lack luster. For the price we paid for the pizza, we would have been better off going over to Fini's Pizza (which is owned by real Italians). Marco's advertises its "Authentic Italian", Fini's would truly be insulted by this. While our waitress was nice, she wasn't tentative. As mentioned, she never bothered asking us if we would like refills (we weren't the only customers to remove the lids from the Pepsi cup), perhaps if our drinks were served in a plastic cup, our waitress could see if we needed a refill or not without having to ask. Over all, we wouldn't recommend Marco's to anyone. Save your money and go elsewhere, you most likely will be disappointed with wasting your money in this economy. Everyone has their opinion of what they like. In our case, Marco's Pizza just isn't for us.

Better than Poopa Johns and Dumbinos. We usually order Marcos when we are craving different ingredients and different toppings on our pizzas. Although the ordering system is similar to Dominos and Papa Johns, the quality is much better. The toppings are far more diverse, and the crusts are just "different", but in a good way. Three stars is mainly because it just isn't great, as are other pizza delivery chains, so three stars are the pinnacle in this genre around these parts. Their WhiteCheezy pizza is by-far my favorite, but occasionally we order the Old-World pepperoni, as their sauce has a better zing than the other places. This location is very dependable as far as delivery times go, and their email coupons help motivate you to order, but nother really special. They are consistently decent, so we keep ordering. No worries.

Great pizza but the coupons code provided to my email didn't work when I submitted it and when I called Marco's to explain the issue the employee who picked up the phone, she did not really try to accommodate us by saying "I don't operate the website so I don't know what to tell you". The customer service could definitely be improved. I asked if I could give her the coupon code and place my order with her, which she could and did. Our pizza was still good even though our crust wasn't the way we ordered.

Pizza is super duper great! Had a sampler of three pizza's (pepperoni, hawaiian style and tomato/basil pizza) and they were all great. Especially in Suwanee, you can't compare the low prices on the beer! It's great for a party of 5-8, where you can order the tall 100oz. beer tower, all for only $10!!! The owner was there and he was very friendly and welcoming. Joe, one of the managers, made sure our party was satisfied with everything. Love it! Will be back again.

DON'T GO!!! Can't comment on the quality of the food -- IT NEVER ARRIVED! My husband and I decided to try Marco's near Town Center Park in Suwanee. There were only 3 families there when we arrived. Our waitress immediately took our order for two beers and a large mushroom pizza. Brought the beers pretty quickly. And then the wait began........ After finishing our beers -- which took us more than 30 minutes -- our waitress said our pizza would be right out and sorry about the wait. So we ordered two more beers. One was brought to our table but that was the end of it so we needed to pick a different brand for the second one, which we did. The one beer that was delivered was flat and awful. We told our waitress and she cheerfully replaced it, and assured us our pizza would be right out. And so our wait continued. At the one hour mark I told our waitress (very nicely -- wasn't her fault) that we've been waiting an hour and would only wait another 5 minutes for the pizza (again -- plain ol' mushroom pizza). She apologized and said it would be right out. (I'd like to say our waitress was very sweet; that's the only reason we stayed as long as we did.) As my husband was saying that's enough, let's go, I spotted our waitress bringing out a steaming hot pizza -- which she promptly delivered to the table next to us. Oh yeah, that family arrived 20 minutes AFTER we did. Said goodbye, left and will NEVER return!

i booked a baseball party on 5/7/12. I was told by the MOD that they could do the same deal as our team had 6 months previous which was $8 a pizza. I called on 5/9/12 to comfirm the time as well as the quote. I got a phone call @ 1p.m. on Friday the day before the party stating that there was a "miscommunication" and that they wouldn't do $8 a pizza but we would have to do the "buffet" @ $8/adult and $5/kid. This was 3 times more than the original quote. They had mentioned that there was a festival across the street and expected to be busy. In no way did the owner try to work this out with a resonable response. I went to another pizza place and was given the price of $6 a pizza because we WERE a baseball team. I drove by Marcos @12:45 and then again @ 1:45 and there were at most 4 people in the restaurant. All I have to say is GREEDY GREEDY GREEDY for mediocre pizza

Service was so-so. The food was pretty poor. Most if the veg ingredients are from a can. Our cheese pizza was mostly just crust with a very thin layer of sauce and cheese on it. The one nice thing was the fireplace on the patio. There are much better options for this type of fare very close by (ahem... Mellow Mushroom...)

2.5 stars. Located just across from Suwanee Town Center in a small strip center with La-Tee-Da and the Popcorn Palladium. This is a tough review to write....not because the food was bad, but because it wasn't great....it was decent. They get points for being clean and friendly but lose points for pizza that was just "meh". First off, the place just opened so it was super clean. The employees were also very friendly and chatty. There is a patio with weather screening and also inside seating. There were a few people there the night we went, not empty but not very crowded either. We ordered pizza and wings. The wings were more like chicken nuggets - read it as small - but were decent. Frozen, fried and then served with sauce. The pizza was just OK. Marco's is better then Papa Johns and Dominos (not really saying much as that pizza is junk) but not as good as a true pizza joint. They have stiff competition across the street with Mellow Mushroom and Ippolitos. The sauce was rather bland as was the sausage. The sauce to cheese ratio was off in my opinion. Too much sauce and not enough cheese. You can tell that Marco's is a chain pizza joint...it just has that "taste" to it. Maybe its because they are new and haven't gotten all their processes down yet. Will I go back? Maybe in a couple of months after they have a chance to settle in. Will I recommend to friends and neighbors? Probably not, but I won't tell them not to go either. Being raised in New Jersey just outside of NYC I know what real, good pizza is...and Marco's isn't it. They do serve beer in yard dispensers so that is a bit of a novelty. A 16" plain cheese is $12. Toppings are $2 each or you can order one of their 4 special combo pizzas. I hope they punch it up a bit and succeed.

Just OK. Probably won't go back. I think it's in the same category as dominos and papa johns.

Mellow is our usual haunt for a mid-day slice close to Suwanee Town Center but today we thought we would try something a little different. They only serve Pepsi products which wouldn't be a big deal but when I suggested that they may want to get hip to "regional favorites" the reply that came back was "sorry Sir, we don't have a choice, Corporate makes that decision and they are based in Ohio". This bugs me so much because I know that the pizza to follow is going to be a "corporate Ohio" pizza (no offense Ohio). When a company refuses to take input on how to improve their product or customer experience and they prefer to simply point out who's fault it is, I don't hold high expectations for the rest of our visit. The place was very clean, quick enough, nice staff (of one fella but it wasn't very busy so he managed ok) and the pizza was exactly "corporate Ohio pizza". Overall it was disappointing if you are actually looking for pizza but if you're holding a t-ball post game party, this is your place...that is if Ci-Ci's is too busy.

I don't know what's going on with this place, but the service is subpar now. I've recently visited this location 2 times in the past three weeks and the service has fallen off pretty bad. Still good pizza, but the wait staff is less than desirable. I'm not sure if the old wait staff still works there or not, but my last three visits have been very disappointing. My last visit was today, and I ended up walking out before I was able to order. My daughter and I walked in as usual and sat ourselves. We were the only customers in at this time. There were several guys in the back and one young lady who apparently was on her lunch break before taking a quick nap at the table. One of the gentlemen brought out menus and took our drink orders. He returned immediately with our drinks and I informed him that we needed one moment to decide. We sat there for 15 minutes or longer and no one bothered to come back and take our order. The young lady that was taking a nap, got up, cleaned up her table and walked over to the register. We could hear everyone in the back talking back and forth amongst each other, but no one bothered to come back out to our table. Annoyed and now very angry, we walked out. I'm done with this place. Back to Mellow Mushroom...
