Thank God! I have found a good Caribbean restaurant in my neighborhood. Country Pepper. I ordered the brown stew chicken meal to go. I couldn't wait to get home and have my dinner.......delightful! Is all I can say to give a precise description of the flavor and the portion, oh and the customer service was great! The staff was very welcoming and made me comfortable. Dad even opened the door for me on my way out! Thank you Country Pepper for excellent food and service right in my neighborhood!!!

Man it's nice to have a nice little Caribbean spot by your house. Country Pepper really knows how to make oxtails! Anytime I feel like treating myself this is the place I go. The service is family like, the atmosphere is clean and the food is incredible. When I'm coming home late from work and I don't feel like cooking this is the place that I like to go to for a home-cooked meal. Keep up the good work Country Pepper!

The meat fell off the bone. Not a joke. I ordered curry goat, and the perfectly seasoned tender meat just slipped right off. I also tried the brown stew chicken and it was just as good. Our waitress was very pleasant and her mother works here, as well. There you have it, food made with a mother's love. Explains the deliciousness. I highly recommend trying it out.

Great food with the perfect amount of spice. Quick service by an incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Definitely worth checking out.

Simple surroundings but a very friendly staff makes it very enjoyable. Awesome food. Love the jerk chicken dinner. Best take-out in Suwanee!

This has to be the most authentic Jamaican restaurant OTP. Their jerk chicken is to die for. Very spicy but not over the top. The Jerk Wings looked fantastic and are next on my list to try. Real Ginger beer from Jamaica. The brown chicken stew was amazing. The beef patties were perfect. The staff were super friendly and full of suggestions. The restaurant is very plain in the end of a strip mall but don't let that put you off, it is worth the experience. One more mention of the jerk chicken - AMAZING,!

As my first visiting I had very high expectations. Especially because of the past reviews I've seen. I got there at 1130am and waited till 12pm for them to open. I ordered the jerk chicken. And a side of Mac n cheese. The jerk chicken was mediocre, and the mac n cheese was HORRIBLE. They used spiral noodles, with no cheese. It was more of parmesan, garlic noodles. Very nice staff, and family oriented. I might give them another chance... Maybe. I spent $16 all together. Kind of pricey but I had to try.

I love this place, and love the service even more, I moved to California and think about this food often. Please stop in and give them a try.

Exceptionally good. I tried this place for the first time for a few days ago, I had oxtail which was superb. I'm used to having great Jamaican food and consider myself a connoisseur of sorts. Please try this place!

I have to admit that I went to this restaurant with some doubts. I don't particularly like extreme heat in my food and have had prior poor experience with jerk sauce. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The little pies are delicious, and the salad I ordered was fresh and delicious. My husband had the jerk chicken and we both enjoyed that as well. The rice was good too. We will definitely be back! I'm excited to have added new foods, as well as a new restaurant, to my life.

You might have some trouble finding Country Pepper because it's located at the very end of a strip mall & you can't really see it from the road until you've already passed the parking lot entrance. When we did get there, I was surprised to be the only customers in the restaurant, especially with all the raving reviews on Yelp. A few more people did come in while were dining. We were greeted by a really nice girl behind the counter. She welcomed us to the restaurant and asked if we had been there before & if we'd ever had Jamaican food. We hadn't. She told us that the Goat Curry & Oxtails were their most popular dishes. I was struggling to decide between the two, but eventually chose the Goat Curry. While we were waiting on our food, she actually brought me a sample of the Oxtail to try since I was on the fence about it. That was really cool and sweet of her, and ensured I was coming back because it was delicious! All the food we ordered was really good and flavorful. It's what I imagine Jamaican home cooking would taste like. All of their entrees are served with rice & beans, cabbage, & plantains. We ordered extra plantains because they're so good. Mmmm. What I tasted: - Curry Goat ($11.95) This was my first time trying goat. I liked it, and the spices they used in the curry made it really yummy. - Curry Chicken ($9.95) The Curry Chicken was similar to the Curry Goat, but it did have a different flavor. The Curry Chicken also comes with carrots, onions, & potatoes, while the goat did not. I liked the Curry Chicken & Curry Goat the same. - Jerk Chicken ($10.95) This was my favorite dish out of what we ordered! I don't even like spicy foods, but I really loved this! SOOO GOOD & juicy, too! Outstanding customer service & good food! I'll definitely be back!

Very homey feel. Great food. Low prices. Clean interior. I've had the Jerk Chicken there. Reminds me of places I've been to in the islands. I wish they sold beer!

Excellent food! Our first time here and it was so good. We have been looking for a good Caribbean joint to eat at and Bahama Breeze is a JOKE. The guy who helped us was very friendly and the portions were HUGE! We paid $22 for our meals. I had the Jerk Chicken wings with cabbage veggies and my husband has the Curry Chicken which came with the cabbage, plantains, and red beans and rice. We will definitely be back again.

I've been here twice recently for lunch. I've had the jerk chicken meal and the jerk chicken salad. Both meals were excellent. The service is friendly and outstanding. I look forward to my next meal there.
(5)Jim K.
I had the jerk wings for lunch. They were really good! The sauce that came with them gave it a really nice kick. They have Free With-Fi. If they didn't give you the password just ask for it. I couldn't stop at the jerk wings so I ordered a Jamaican party too. I had the mild one since they were out of others. It was tasty!

Love, love, love this place! The food is great, and the staff is amazingly helpful. I'm not sure why there's not more traffic here at this little gem of a place, but I recommend it to all my friends. The jerk chicken is awesome, as is the brown stew chicken. Everything we've had is good, and I love the fatc that the staff remembers me by name when I call for pickup.

After reading all the great reviews we decided to try this place tonight. It was such a pleasant experience. This restaurant is family owned and their food is sooooo good! The owner was so sweet and made sure we felt at home. The portions are big and prices are fair. Because of the reviews, we were already expecting the food to be good but people need to save room for dessert. We were recommended a bread pudding and what was presented to us was AMAZING! You can tell its homemade, crunchy, and the rum sauce that is to die for. I highly recommend this place and we will be back!

I've wanted to go to Country Pepper for a long time due to stellar reviews but just haven't had a chance. I had the taste for Jamaican food so my wife and I stopped in. There are a few designated parking spots up front and, when we arrived, there were plenty of open spaces. Our server informed us that the lot does fill up sometimes due to other businesses in the shopping center. There is additional parking around the back. The decor is simple but pleasant and inviting. The restaurant is very clean. The service is excellent - friendly, helpful, and prompt. We tried the oxtails, brown gravy chicken, and the jerk wings. Everything was great. The wings had a great flavor but they are braised so the skin is soft. As another reviewer mentioned, I would prefer a char on the meat from grilling. That didn't stop us from polishing them off. The oxtails were fall-off-the-bone tender and the connective tissue was like butter. Served with cabbage, plantains, and rice and beans. Delicious and very reasonably priced. The chicken was also excellent. Tender but not dried out. Very tasty. Same sides as the oxtails. Great food at a great price. We'll definitely return.

I've had Jamaican food before in various places but I never liked any of it. This place was the exception. The jerk chicken wings are so good. I also got a Jamaican patty with spicy beef (which is only $2) which was so good!! My husband got a jerk chicken meal and he mistakenly offered me a plantain, I proceed to eat all of them. They had a nice caramelization on them and the sweetness went perfectly with the jerk seasoning on the chicken We dined in and our waitress was very nice and attentive. This place is a hidden gem. I probably would've never stopped in if I hadn't seen the great reviews on yelp. I'm glad I work only down the street! I think most people order carry out because we were the only people dining in around 1230. Nonetheless this place is awesome and was a great find.

This is truly a Jamaican owned & operated restaurant, but you won't find smoked grilled meat here :-(. On a positive note the staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Hubby ordered the curry goat and thought it was just "ok" but he is extremely picky with goat. My jerk chicken had a really good flavor but I prefer it on the grill..just like they do in Jamaica on the side of the road! Now that's some good jerk chicken. It is kind of tucked away at the end of a strip plaza. If you drive too fast you will miss it. I noticed they offer free wifi. I asked how long they had been in business and they told me a little over a year. I gave them the 3 stars because I really want them to succeed. I think if you are ok with baked jerk, this would be a nice spot to try. I will make another visit to try some curry dishes and ox tails.

Flavorful, soul-satisfying food. Jerk Chicken and Curried Goat were fantastic. Very friendly staff. Go eat here!

Amazing!! A hidden gem tucked away on Peachtree Industrial in Suwanee. Their food is amazing. You can tell the food is made to order and fresh! I had the jerk chicken. The seasoning is perfect. They offer the option of white meat, which was surprising and tasteful. The meat was tender and not dry!! The staff is so welcoming! The best carribean food in GA!
(5)Jina H.
Best Jamaican restaurant in the Suwanee area. Great friendly service and amazing food. I had the chicken stew and the oxtail which were both terrific. It's easy to miss and didn't notice it until a friend suggested the place. Go and try it out. Yum!
(5)Monique I.
The food is amazing and so is the family running this place. We love Caribbean food and since leaving Chicago, we haven't found anything as authentic and tasty. If yu haven't gone, get there asap!
(5)Angeles W.
They have vastly improved serving times, the food remains consistently delicious, and they have been introducing things like Friday Fish Fry & lunch specials. And I love being welcomed by name!!
(5)Shawn C.
Ah Ma Zing Great atmosphere, great food, great friendly service. Jerk chicken was tender with just the right amount of spice. The goat had amazing flavors, and just fell apart. Come see for yourself!!!

5 star restaurant! The food is excellent as well as the customer service. We tried the jerk chicken, curry chicken, pork, ox tails, goat, cabbage and redbeans/rice - best ever! We couldn't decide on what we enjoyed best as it was all so delicious. All of the meat was falling off the bones and full of flavor! Excellent choice for a home cooked savory meal!

I've only been here a few times, but every time I go it's a great experience. This is a hidden gem in Suwanee, in a shopping plaza that can easily be missed. I usually just get takeout and the girl there is so friendly! I've tried the jerk chicken and it's really, really tasty. The chicken is fresh, moist and the spices are spot on for jerk chicken. The rice and cabbage salad is delicious as well, in addition to the plantains. Everything is home made and you can really, really taste it. The patties are delicious too, especially the medium beef one, spicy too is good but I think medium is better. I want to try more dishes here, I will definitely be back. Keep up the great home made tasty food and friendly service!

I am so glad my wife and I stopped in. We have been driving past this place for months and finally decided to try it. I am not a Jamaican food expert by any means, but we both loved the food. Do not be afraid to try this place! The food and staff were wonderful! Visit once and you will be back.

Since moving to Georgia I've been looking for a Jamaican restaurant that was as close to what im used to in nyc as possible. .After a few disappointments I almost decided to give up until yelp showed me this place.. This is the spot to go to in GA if you craving good food...The jerk chicken is seasoned just right and very tender..The oxtail is very good and the beef patties are just like the ones I used to get back in nyc...I order from here regularly now..

This place is a hidden gem tucked back into the hill on the north side of Peachtree Industrial Blvd between Suwanee Dam and McGinnis Ferry in Suwanee. The jerk chicken was perfectly spicy with delicious sides of rice and cabbage. The host was also very sweet and friendly. This is a family owned business that I highly recommend.
(5)Piper K.
Jamaican ginger soda, spicy beef patty, and Jerk chicken. All delicious, right amount of spicy, and a nice change from the norm. Friendly staff at family run restaurant.
(5)April L.
I love love love Country Pepper. Its definitely a home cooked meal in a restaurant. The beef patty and the cod fish entree are awesome! The cabbage is seasoned so well and the portions make me super happy! The curry goat is sooo tender! The staff is always so nice. I literally say hey, its April and they know who I am. I will continue to come to Country Pepper as long as I'm in Georgia. I spend anywhere from $9-$13 dollars when I go, but the chicken entree is a little cheaper than cod fish and goat.

Customer service is excellent. Really nice people. Food is good but VERY pricey. I have never paid $15.85 for an order of Oxtails, rice and peas. I didn't expect to pay that much. For that price I can get two orders at the spot I usually go to. There is not much of a difference between the two, as far as the food and service but there is a HUGE difference in price. Thought I try something new but never again. It just cost too much for take out you also get more rice than meat. Not worth $15.85. Gave it 4 stars because overall the food and service was good.

First visit, oxtails, beans & rice, cabbage, excellent! I also ordered a beef patty for later. The food is great, great to have in authentic jamacian restaurant so close.

Stopped by for lunch in search of some good Jamaican food and struck gold. The place is simple, comfortable and friendly. The food was excellent - Curry chicken with rice, plantains and steamed cabbage was delicious. Nice food find!

I have been driving by Country Pepper since it opened 6 months ago. I finally decided to stop by for lunch. I was blown away by how good the food was and the owner was exceptionally friendly. I went back for dinner the same day. The Brown Stew with Chicken and the Jerk Chicken were simply awesome. I hope the community rallies around this wonderful Jamaican Restaurant to help keep it alive and flourishing here in Suwanee.
(5)Tony G.
Great, authentic Jamaican food, with very good service. I wish they had a bit more variety, including desserts, but what is on the menu is outstanding.
(5)Dan J.
If you are anywhere near Suwanee, you MUST try this place. I saw it driving by on Ptree Industrial and knew I had to give it a shot. If you like spice and flavor, you will love it. They should call the place Flavor Country. I had a "lunch special" which was 4 Jerk wings and rice/beans. It was fantastic!
