I'm now a regular at applebees to the point that the bartenders know me. I like the fact that the bartenders made the effort to get to know me. As far as the food goes the have improved ! This is mostly in part to the new menu items like the pub pretzels. My past review stated " It is the most average dining experience possibly imagined" well it still is but they are pushing their boundaries and the extra star is in recognition of the effort .

The food was okay, but I wanted to say what a wonderful job the manager on duty did handling a complaining customer. She was polite and friendly even through the customer was complaining about something out if her control. There is hope for good customer service after all.

Every time I've been here they've always gladly let me substitute fries in place of soup except tonight. Apparently "the manager" won't let them do that. Sorry, you have in the past and the one in Buford will still do it gladly. I have no ties other than mild convenience for this location. What urge do I have to continue giving you my business now?

I'm not really sure why Applebee's even offers "curbside service". I ordered online, I paid online, I tipped online, and I showed up at the time my food was supposed to be ready. We sit in the parking lot for an additional 25 minutes. Meanwhile, several employees, including the manager, were having a reunion with some old golfing buddies. No one even acknowledges we are there. I finally break up the party, by requesting a status on my food. It takes another 10 minutes for them to come back out to tell me that "they are putting my order together". We get home with the food, the warm dessert was cold, the steaks were overcooked and everything was just bland. Never again will I give them another dollar of my money.

Have eaten here a few times, and generally a good experience. However, for the first time we ordered the "2 for $20" meal deal. I'm not sure if the following is SOP, but we were served the appetizer and entree far too close together. We had hardly begun eating the appetizer before the entree was served. Obviously frustrated, the server volunteered to take the entrees back and keep them warm until we finished the appetizer. Within five minutes he returned with our food, even stating the inconvenience of it. The two-seat table was much too small to accommodate all of the food, and I had to eat my entree with the plate sitting to the side. To be fair, I would probably give them four stars for past visits, as the service is good, and the atmosphere comfortable. We have also had great, friendly servers in the past. Would still definitely patronize them again.

Chicken fingers are a staple for me here or any Applebee's for that matter. The only thing that seems to change with them is the honey mustard. However, I have eaten a little of everything off the menu. The shrimp and spinach salad, for one, is a very good option. I have had the Weight Watcher selections at times as well, including the tilapia, which is very good. I have eaten at this location several times over the years, even regularly at times. They have remodeled which has made the place a little nicer and the bar area a little more open. The staff is generally friendly and efficient.
