Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I really enjoy visiting this place when I go to Ga a couple times a year. I love the Hibachi buffet where you can have them make whatever you want fresh and having Sushi on the buffet is also a big plus. The few times I have gone have always been around lunch and the food always seems fresh and delicious when I have gone with a huge variety!

This is a typical LOW QUALITY All-you-can-eat Chinese Buffet with some sorry looking Sushi, a made-to-order Hibachi Grill, and a few added Mexican foods. My Fiance and me found the established name to be severely lacking in the "Hot" buffet foods category as all but the soups where nearly dead cold! I did like the egg drop soup but nearly all other items on the buffet she and I tried (I had almost a bit of everything) fell way low in food quality and overall tastiness. Really, there are plenty of these types of Chinese buffets available, and as such, I have found most to be highly inadequate with a rare exception of a few jewels, but this place was not one I will return to; and that reality became apparent when the Montezuma's Revenge hit us within 30 minutes of leaving the place! At $10.99 (dinner price) with $1.50 for drinks each, our bill totaled $26.50 before tip. NOT A BARGAIN and NOT WORTH A RETURN; the Fiance and me are still feeling queezy!

Horrible customer service. The sign for the prices were adjusted after we sat down it said three and under eat free and four to ten $ 4.95. When I got my bill at the table I told them my child was three. They said its three ft and under . So I told them the sign wasn't clear and they should put ft on the sign. She agreed not to charge for one of the children. When I went to pay she act confused and still charge me and physically wrote on the sign ft. She was extremely rude and nasty. The food was ok.

The name says it all. It's hot or cold when it should be hot. Food don't taste fresh at all

I've gone here a couple times and with each return I have high hopes its been improved. Unfortunately not the case. The food never seems warm enough, and most of the entrees have the same flavor. My fellow diners also seem to have no clue on Buffett etiquette; I've seen adults cough over the food, adults letting their children pick food off the serving tables with their dirty hands and I have also seen adults using their previously used plates to dish up their second serving. I have finally given up on this establishment.

one of the worst Chinese buffets I've ever been to. most of the food wasn't even Chinese. nothing was good won't be back. go to the Thai place or Italian place at the other end of the building instead

Just another chinese buffett. Food is okay, service is okay, prices are a bit much. Good selection of food for the whole family.

My family and I have been coming to this place a few times a year, for the past 3 years. The service, as in customer service has always been non-existent. The food is either hit, or miss, no in between. Even when the food is piping hot( which is rare), it all seems to taste the same. Sesame Chicken, General chicken and spicy garlic chicken all taste the same. I've yet to taste even a shred of ginger or real garlic in the food. The decor is gross. Dark, green, ugly and greasy. The carpet looks like it was installed in the mid 80's. The bathrooms are clean, if that adds anything to this horrible situation. Today, my family and I were very busy and stopped in for a quick early dinner. After washing our hands and heading to the buffet line, I grabbed a plate from a rack, and on my plate was a BABY ROACH, crawling happily across my plate to escape being killed. I dropped the plate, shocked, like oh my god!!!?? I was frozen where I stood for a minute, and completely lost my appetite for anything from a restaurant today. I will NEVER EVER RETURN TO THIS BUSINESS EVER AGAIN. They give you a very hard time if you ask for a refund, even if you've proven that no food was eaten. A cousin of mine recommended this place, I've never seen what he sees in it. The food is garbage, and in the restaurant business, sanitation and public safety is FIRST, even before FLAVOR. Restaurants each year spend millions of dollars on pest and rodent control. Hot n' Cold clearly has no concern for the safety of their clients, and they have no sense of sanitation whatsoever. Two thumbs down. Hot n' Cold is the weakest link, and I'm voting them off of my island. Good riddens. Signed, Hungry and Frustrated

I've been here enough times to define most of my experiences as DISMAL. Upon first entering the restaurant, one would believe there to be dozens and dozens of delicious and tantalizing items on the buffet tables. But, you'd be wrong. There are many items to choose from but most are cold, dry, flavorless, watery, or just awful. I have yet to ever NOT hear loud and heated arguments among the staff there. Not sure what all that is about but the distraction of that is off-putting. If customers acted like that, they likely would be asked to leave or be arrested. The décor is dark, dreary, and greasy. Not even sure a top to bottom cleaning would make a difference. One day maybe they'll fix the leaky ceiling above the dining area that has dripped hopefully only water, on me - or not. Everything about this eatery is pathetic and needs to be avoided. I'm not kidding.

My experience is gross and funny, (Only because I didn't bother to read the signs.) I went here because I love Chinese. Well, I saw a platter of crawfish which are a delicacy to me and then I saw a metal bowl of blue shrimp. I took both of these not reading that the shrimp was raw. I put that in my mouth first, chewed it and it tasted creamy. I spat it right back out in a napkin. Then I tried the crawfish it had a shell so I cracked that open, and put it in my mouth. Unfortunately it was Cajun seasoned and am not a spicy lover. So if I had read the signs I probably would have liked it.

I took a friend who came from out of town to this restaurant because with a buffet you can have variety. Well it started when we were seated. Felt like we were tossed to sit where we were. After getting food, I unrolled the napkin and the fork had visible food between the teeth. I got up and showed it to the asian girl in my section, she snatched out of my hand and gave me another set. I asked for hot water to dip and clean in. She never came after to check on us as she did with other tables. When it was time to leave, I just lost my appetite and when I went to pay for bill, she had the nerve to check the table looking for a tip. I leave no tip for terrible and rude service. Think twice if you wanna bring someone here to eat, and please check your silverware.

If I had seen all the average or poor reviews for this restaurant first, I probably would both have gone 5 or 6 times in the past 2 years. Despite the negative reviews, my family and I have always found this place to be decent (as far as Chinese Buffet restaurants are concerned). If I could leave a half star I would have given this place a 3.5 star rating. It's not the best in the world but the better one in this area.

The buffet food was dried and cold. The quality is below average and never fresh. Its the worst restaurant in Snellville. Will not be going back. The service was horrible. The egg drop soup tasted like eating an old wet moldy rag.

The place is not even tasteful. My first time was going to be my last time. I have tasted bad food before, but this has to be the worst. Nothing tasted like anything. I think when they make the food. They shit their eyes. The food either has to much sugar to not enough sugar, or not enough salt. I would give the place a two. For the reason I'm giving this place a two because of the decorations. It was pleasant. When you walk in there is a Koi fish in 3D, but other than that. I didn't like anything. I gave the second star because of space. You had space to move around. You could do a handful of cartwheels and still be going. Once you come here you will see. That space to them is everything. They have a food pushed to the back and the tables and booths on both sides of the front, but in between the booths and tables is about 15 feet of carpet. You will walk in and see door, carpet, tables, and food. Be in mind I did not say host or employees. The employees tend to be sitting on the side of the buffet and think you will seat yourself. The host is N/A. I took away the rest of the stars because of the employees/workers and food. As I said before the food is not very tasteful, and the employees are not presentable. Not only are the employees not presentable they are also very rude. They will talk about you even if you did nothing wrong. I have never felt out of place until I came here. They will talk about you in front of your face. They will also start pointing at you. They talk about you from corner to corner. I gave this place what it deserves. Because of the food and the service. I really did not enjoy the food at all. The service was terrible. If I could have a rewind and not go, I probably would have stayed home and starved myself until I got something else to eat.

Hands down the worst buffet I have ever been to. Just looking at reviews before going I knew it wasn't going to be great but I gave my friend who is obsessed with this place (I don't see how she enjoys this place) the benefit of the doubt. Worst decision ever. Everything tasted cold and tasteless. Never lost my appetite so quickly like I did here. Service was just as bad as the food. First and last time visiting that's for sure.

Best time to go is lunch. Would not go for dinner. The Asian Buffet in Stone Mountain is much better for dinner. You have to pick and choose the entrees from the hot buffet. Their fried shrimp is bleh, the egg rolls are small but good. Most of the chicken dishes are overcooked. The pork-stuffed jalapenos are one item I love, no other buffet does them that way. The mexican items on the buffet really could be done better. What I love is the Mongolian grill and the sushi. I go at lunch when the sushi is fresh, get some shrimp or chicken and vegetables from the grill, and pork-stuffed jalapenos. Every other restaurant in this location hasn't stayed open very long, from the BBQ place to whatever was there before. Provino's Italian is in the same shopping center and has been there forever, but it's expensive. The vegetable egg foo young isn't bad either.

I've been here a couple of times and the quality of food is almost always wavering; the same foods you get one time may be horrible once and okay the next time (and sometimes even between sittings). It's your standard budget Chinese food buffet restaurant with attendants having a very-much-to-the-restaurant's-name-of-hot-and-cold temperament that stare you down as you eat (though the manner is different: here you get the impression they don't want you sneaking away food rather than that they don't want you eating too much). As mentioned in other reviews, they do have an all right made-to-order hibachi station, as well as a semi-decent sushi station with various small California rolls. The California rolls have some drab-designer flavors, but are edible, and the wasabi is not as weak as you'd think. Chopsticks are available. They provide reduced sodium soy sauce at the buffet counter, but full sodium soy sauce at the tables should you prefer that. The self-serve buffet area usually has three kinds of soup (my mother says the hot and sour is pretty good; I stick to the wonton soup broth without wontons and add some scallions for flavor, and that's fine by me), heaping portions of steamed rice, and lots of variety. They even have some staple Mexican appetizers, what they term pizza, and some melting-pot-American foods such as fried chicken (which looks sketchy, but people have eaten it and lived) and Vietnamese spring rolls with peanut sauce (which I recommend skipping). Probably the only thing that has been uniformly good every time is the sweet and sour chicken, which I think is about the only food a buffet restaurant never messes up. This restaurant certainly keeps that up, along with some experimental house dishes such as the stir-fried shrimp-and-chicken, which was spicy and delicious. Finally, there is a dessert station broken into two sections (seemingly as an afterthought when skewing down the salad bar). The majority of the stations is mix of fruit - which usually has plum grapes, honeydew, and strawberries among the pickings, and sometimes kiwi fruit - and dessert. The only sour surprise in the desert is what they call cheesecake; save your palate and skip it because it barely has any taste. My brother says it tastes like they dolloped cream cheese in the batch and forgot everything else. There is also a frozen yogurt machine that dispenses okay-to-all-right frozen yogurt in chocolate, vanilla, and mixed varieties. The levers sometimes stick. All-in-all, it's okay going if you're looking for somewhere to go when you absolutely don't feel like cooking, and it's family-friendly enough, but go with caution and pray over your food.
