Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Great food. My husband and I have been here quite a few times, and we were excited to find delicious chinese/thai food that is quick. I love the coconut soup, curries, and Kung Pao Chicken. Great veggies in that dish. The only problem is that the food isn't always consistent. However, even on "off" days, it is still very good. I recommend this whole-heartedly. Favorite chinese in Smyrna.

Overall, they get an A. The food is ALWAYS HOT and FRESH! Portions are VERY nice. you always have some more to come back to...but take heed. They are stingy on the vegetable. I always get lunch take out. But it's a cute little place to eat. Nothing spectacular as far as decor. but you didn't come for decor...you came for great food. And they HAVE THAT ...CONSISTENTLY

This place is a neighborhood gem! We went with our Thai exchange student and found that this place is the real deal! Loved the papaya salad, yellow curry, mango shrimp (my fav) and chicken fried rice ( closest I've found to NE in the south).

I am so glad that my husband and I found this place! It's quaint on the inside and never crowded. We've been there four times so far, and each time the food is great. Okay...well, I have to admit that I have only had the Lo Mein...because it's the best Lo Mein I've ever eaten, hands down. I did order the Pad Thai once, and didn't like it. But that's simply because it's a dish that I was trying out for the first time (since it's the name of the restaurant). I learned that I don't have a taste for meals that have a peanut flavor to it. But no worries, my husband ordered the Lo Mein, so we swapped plates. He was totally in love with the Pad Thai, and told me that it's up there in taste with other great Pad Thai's he has had. I will take his word for it. My husband has also ordered both the red and green curry dishes. He says it's awesome. (I don't like curry, though, but by tasting some of his, I could tell that the quality was great). We have had both the coconut soup and the wonton soup. Both are excellent, and I must say that the wonton soup is the best ever! It actually has vegetables in it, and these huge dumplings. So delicious. I'm usually an average, boring Chinese food fan who eats sweet and sour or sesame chicken, but I haven't had it at this place yet. I will eventually, and I'm sure it will be awesome!

I love this place. I don't remember how I got lucky enough to find them, but they deliver, and what they deliver is good. Strangely enough, though I went in for the Pad Thai and it makes me smile, I seem to be falling in love with the... pot stickers?!?! Go figure.

I am very glad my fiancee and I stumbled upon this place after a long week of work and weren't disappointed by the food. The last thing we wanted to do was to go out or make any food. The added bonus is that this is the only Thai and Chinese food place where you can order online, which I loved! My girlfriend's lemon chicken was good, however she felt that they went heavy with the lemon grass. I thought it was good either way and that it added the extra punch along with the hot as hell thai chilis. Watch out and prepare your insides if you can't handle the heat! If you love spicy food, then prepare to be challenged. I happen to like spicy food, so it was good in my book. My dish wasn't too oily or greasy. The also has the "right amount" of seasoning, as some places seem to dump a jar of sauce on top, two slice of diced chicken, and what seems to be a laundry basket of rice. This place had the right balance in portion from the protein, starch, and vegetable making up their dishes. Our food was tasty, and quickly ready for pickup. The price was reasonable as well. We'll be giving it a try again.

I've ordered take-out from here at least 30 times ! - Thai Food 5 Stars -My favorite dishes are Pad Thai Noodles, Mussaman Curry Chicken & Pad See- Ew. The fresh Basil rolls, rice and shrimp wrapped in basil leaves and rice paper, are good too. - Chinese Food 2 Stars- Unfortunately, I don't like their Chinese food. I've had Mongolian Chicken and Chicken with Green Beans and they were both greasy. Their House Fried Rice was just ok- it was 90% rice and little else. *Follow-up to the Fried Rice- I ordered it again and it was much better the second time. =) The food is a little on the expensive side $$ but they deliver - which is Priceless !

Microwave food. Not fresh at all. Hop in if you got used to finding your breakfast on the road.

I recently ordered take out from here. I ordered the spring roll appetizer and the Shrimp Panang Curry with fried rice. I must say, the food was delicious! The spring rolls were a delightfully delicious appetizer that I absolutely wanted more of. They were the standard spring roll fair, but here, they bread them in something, cut them, then deep fry them. This treatment made them VERY tasty! The Shrimp Panang Curry was spiced just right and tasted great. It is every bit as delicious here than at Thai places in the city. The fried rice was perfect. My only gripe is that it was a little expensive for the portion size given...$16 for a smaller portion of Panang Curry...
(4)Kisha G.
Really, really like the food here. They have great fried rice. AND with identification, all military veterans/active duty personnel get a discount! Way to support!
(4)D. M.
Visited the restaurant for the first time today my greeting was pleasant the food was outstanding I will visit again enjoyed the basil Thai chicken the only down is all of the food came in at one time there should be a pause and in between receiving soup and meal because the meal was warm before I could y finish the soup other than that everything was delicious... better than the one down the street

Great family-owned restaurant! I tend to order pretty random stuff when I'm out and usually have an idea of what I want before I get there. This particular night, I had been dying for Lad Nar. Without even looking at the menu, I asked for it and boy did I get it!...piping hot, not too greasy, and full of flavor! (Notice my overuse of exclamation points? I can't even control myself!) Seriously though, it was delicious. Something else that amazed me: They deliver! TAKE MY MONEY! As a responsible Yelper, I never like to judge places off of one dish, experience, etc. That being said, I had never really been a fan of pad Thai (the dish) until I tried theirs. It's literally the best I've had. Hats off to you guys
(4)Joelle L.
Service is great and the food is high quality! We love the satay skewers and the shrimp in the pad Thai is fresh and delicious. I'm a pad Thai snob, and I love it here.

Finally! An amazing Thai restaurant in southwest Cobb that also delivers. I have not yet eaten in, but I certainly plan to when winter is over. Since moving to Smyrna from Vinings in November, I have ordered from here at least a dozen times and never once was I disappointed. They even have green papaya salad on the menu and brown rice. Favorite dishes include: Basil rolls: 2 huge rolls filled with large shrimp and lots of basil Tom Ka soup: the flavors are amazing and perfect for a cold winter day. I like spicy food so I request that it is prepared extra hot. Green curry chicken: my go-to at nearly every Thai restaurant and theirs is exceptional I plan to try the black pepper shrimp next time :) So glad I am not stuck driving to Midtown or Buford Hwy. for some authentic food or ordering the same boring Americanized Chinese take-out. Highly recommended.

One of THE best pot stickers / dumplings I have ever had in a restaurant! Love it! It was not necessarily the seasoning, but the way they cooked it was perfect! The service was very nice and friendly. It is definitely a hole in the wall/ mom and pop restaurant. I definitely enjoyed it! We came for lunch and I had the massaman curry and my friend had the red curry. Although I enjoyed both of them, it didnt quite hit the spot for me. It was still good, but I was not thoroughly impressed with it. All in all, I enjoyed my stay. It is a little out of the way though and like i said, a hole in the wall ... but it's all good. I highly recommend the pot stickers.

I have to say what a surprise it was to find this place. We just moved back to Atlanta and chin chin was good when we left but something happened. This is the best Thai food we have had in a very long time. The Thai basil rolls are amazing The Thai spring rolls are delicious ! The pad Thai chicken yummy The red curry chicken yummy The drunken chicken yummy I will certainly keep ordering from this restaurant

If you're in Smyrna and want THAI, this is the place to be. Coming from LA, where great Thai food is everywhere, I am THANKFUL for Pad Thai! In a wasteland of ethnic food diversity, Pad Thai stands out like a beacon of light. Who cares that the name of their restaurant is incredibly uncreative? These guys know how to cook. Fresh, great tasting great smelling Thai food, more authentic than one would expect out of Smyrna, GA. Bring a bag of food from this place into your house and everyone's mouth will water. It just smells so good. The owners are Laotian, but their culinary skills are diverse. Other reviewers below have alluded to the fact that they offer more than just Thai dishes. For the tech inclined demographic, one nice feature is their ONLINE ORDERING platform. Skip the phone call, place the order and set the time for pickup, and receive an email confirmation. Pay in store or online. If you like Americanized "sweet" flavor profiles in your Thai food, this may not be your place. Try a place down the street called "Curry Curry Thai". My favorite dishes: beef fried rice and drunken spaghetti noodles. Their curry dishes are also top notch. Enjoy!
(5)Honest A.
Pretty dang good thai food! I've eaten there four times and every time, I and everybody with me liked it a lot. Well worth the money. One word of warning... the nice guy, who's always there, is so, so desiring to make you feel welcome that you might cringe a little. Guess that's a culture 'thang. I would give it five stars but the atmosphere inside is uncomfortable. Take out might be a better plan.
(4)Ben B.
The food was very good. I had the panang curry with pork and coconut chicken soup. The only complaint I have is with the guy who took my payment. I don't know if it was an oversight on his part, but he was kind of rude. I mean, acknowledge your customers and say thank you. Like I said, maybe this was an oversight, and the next time I visit the restaurant will be a better experience.
(3)Omar B.
Fried rice was great. Service was great. Great prices. I thought it'd be weird since it was called Pad Thai and Chinese but it was all fine. Try it out! Amen
(4)Kristin B.
Went for weekday late dinner around 830. Pretty empty but doing a decent take out service. Front of the house was very nice and attentive. 2 entrees plus two egg rolls or soup for 22.95. We had the Tom kha soup which was a large portion, nice soup, pretty standard with strong fish sauce smell/taste. We then had the chicken pad Thai and the Panang chicken curry. I've had better pad Thai, but it was a large portion. Panang curry was excellent. Will be back for takeout curry and maybe try something else new.
(3)PJ P.
Food was good but a tad salty even for an Asian restaurant. Staff were very friendly. Food seemed to be hastily assembled even though I was the only diner. It was kind of an awkward time - way after lunch and not quite dinner time yet. Still, I may be back.
(3)Hannah B.
Decided to try this place after reading reviews about how good the food is. Ordered delivery and got a 45-hr wait time. The minimum for delivery is $20 plus a delivery fee. Pretty expensive if you're just ordering for one. The hour window came and went and no sign of the driver. I called the delivery service as the restaurant uses an outside delivery service. The woman I spoke with was very rude and made me repeat my very basic problem (food was 20 minutes late) several times. In the end, she was very unhelpful and just kept telling my order was delayed but would be there soon. When the food finally arrived an hour and a half later (we're 2 miles from the restaurant), it was cold. The calamari app was cold and hard. The Thai cream cheese rolls were okay, but also cold. The pad Thai had nice flavor, but once again, quite cold. The manager at the store was nice when I called. He offered me a free app because my food was late. When I called back to voice my disappoint in the food, he didn't offer any solution. I paid with cash so he couldn't refund my food, and apparently wasn't willing to find any other solution. I might give dining in a try, but I won't be getting delivery here again.

My old Chinese food place closed and so I ventured out and found pad Thai... There were places closer but honestly... I'm happy here... The basil rolls are clean and fresh... Can't get enough of those... The basil rice, yummy... I've decided to work my way through the menu... I've been there several times now and have never been disappointed...

I ate here a few days ago and it was really good. Best Thai food I've found since moving to the area. The curry puffs were great, along with the yellow chicken curry. The server was great although it was just one person for the whole place. Took a while to get our ticket but he was really nice so I didn't seem to mind as much as I normally would of. I definitely recommend this place!
(5)Jametria T.
My husband and I tried this for the first time last week. Since then we have ordered from there 2 more times. There food is really good. I don't like curry and I tried their yellow chicken curry lunch special and loved it! I love the fried curry potato pockets too. Basil dishes are yummy and so are the crab ragoons. Def would recommend! And it's good as left overs the next day too!
(4)Jennifer N.
There isn't a better Thai place at this price point around! The red curry, the panang curry, the lemongrass soup and the curry puffs are all amazaing ! I am convienced that everything is good based on the items that I have had so far. I mean...that is a representative sample! The staff is friendly and families are welcomed. You won't be disappointed.
(5)Kim W.
I'm having the spicy basil eggplant and I asked for added tofu. Delish. Not in my neighborhood but convenient to my trips to the silver comet trail. Another reason to bike.
(4)Essence L.
My husband said his pho was good and my green curry was decent. The basil rolls were decent too but nothing blew my socks off. I have had better but the service was excellent. Everyone was really nice and in point.
(3)Lisa N.
Ok.. Asian food in Smyings is fair at best. There are some good places but for delivery, it can get spendy and very hit and miss. Found this place, took a chance. We ordered a cross section of dishes. A Curry, Duck, Sesame Chicken, Basil Rolls, & Crab Rangoon...I am so pleased to say everything was so fantastic !! Maybe we just got lucky tonight. However , we will order again. This may be the go to place for delivery ! Even the sweet and sour sauce for the Crab Rangoon was exceptional, not the normal gluggy neon pick "stuff" . How have I missed this place until now ?
(5)Gwenn A.
First time I went for lunch and asked for Pad Thai. Tasteless greasy noodles. As this is the name of the place, they should learn how to make them. Second time, I tryed the Chinese food. General Tso's chicken. Ugh! The worst ever! There will not be a third time!
(1)Angie Q.
Excellent dinner. Inexpensive Thai food with good portions. We had fried spring rolls-I did not like them. Cream cheese rolls-yummy Coconut Chicken soup - good, not too creamy Yum beef salad - very good/spicy!!...will probably be my entree next time. Chicken pad Thai- very good, will order everyone as staple carb Chicken in red curry - very good, and was pleasantly surprised there was eggplant in it, crispy green beans too. Cozy place. Seems like the neighborhood place to go for Asian food. Might try their Chinese offerings next time too.

Went here a few weeks ago for another awesome UYE- thanks to Jang and Daniel. This was by far the furthest I have traveled for an event; but with the present company- it was well worth it. First of all, please note that United Drive is not marked, so if you don't pay attention, you will miss it, will have to drive .5 mile, and then u-turn back. That happened to me. I arrived a few minutes early with a coworker of mine, and the place was empty- so we grabbed the 6top right in the middle. The place is clean, calm, and cozy- and even has a tv (nice). The lady who took our order was very nice. I ordered a feast, that's all I can remember! Overall, everything I had was awesome, but I did notice 2 things- on the menu, beer was $3.50, but I got charged $4.25 a pop. Also, I ordered apparently the spiciest thing on the menu (black pepper garlic shrimp)- it didn't even wet my whistle? Maybe she thought I couldn't handle the heat- unbeknownest to her- I sprinkle Bhut Jolokia (look it up if you are unaware) on everything- even my ICE CREAM- I can handle the heat! When we paid, I realized they had the same hard lychee candy that they have @ Heirloom Market BBQ, which I thought was cool. Would I drive here from Alpharetta again to get lunch? If I was meeting the same group or Kate Upton. But I will admit, for the area, this place kicks @$$!
(4)Nicole T.
My family and I eat here all the time. Now the atmosphere is typical of a fast food Chinese restaurant so don't come here dressed to the nines for a date night and then write a bad review! With that being said the food is great! I usually order take out but have dined in too. My favorites; house fried rice, pad thai, Siam chili, loas sausage, basil rolls, thai tea...the list goes on I have not been disappointed. The staff is sooo nice, they always remember me and the gentleman that delivers the food is always so nice. I think compared to their close competitors down the road they are hands down the better choice.

I came to Pad Thai & Chinese Cuisine with five others yesterday for the Cobb Lunch UYE ( yelp.com/events/smyrna-c… ). We had a nice experience. At lunchtime, the restaurant was not very busy. It was just our table and one other table with a group similar in size to ours. A great thing about Pad Thai is its menu is very affordable. The lunch menu (Mon-Fri, 11am-3pm) is rather limited, but you can order off the dinner menu at lunchtime if you want. Most lunch entrees, including noodles, are $6.95 each (includes choice of chicken or pork). At dinner, they're $8.95. Add a dollar or two if you want beef or shrimp. Surprisingly, pad Thai is not on the lunch menu, so I ordered it off the dinner menu and was charged a lunch price ($6.95). I'm not sure if there's a difference between the lunch and dinner versions of the pad Thai, but I had a very filling bowl of it for lunch. Overall, the menu presents a decent variety of Thai cuisine (soups, salads, seafood, curries, noodles, rice, etc.) with some Chinese foods thrown into the mix as well. Lunches are served with your choice of a Chinese soup (egg drop or hot & sour) or spring roll. I wish they offered Thai soup instead (e.g. tom yum or tom kha). I had the hot & sour soup with my pad Thai. The soup was served in a small bowl that was deceivingly bigger than it looked. The hot & sour soup was served piping hot. The soup was thick with plenty of ingredients including bamboo shoots and wood ear and cloud ear fungus. Pad Thai was good. Not as many vegetables (e.g. scallions) as I'm used to seeing. Generous portion size, a lot of volume. Fresh bean sprouts, crushed peanuts, and lime. Quality of chicken was OK. I also tried some spring rolls ($3.95 for 3) and their sticky rice with Lao sausage ($6.95). The spring rolls were tasty and just like most any other Thai restaurant's deep-fried spring rolls with thin noodles and chopped veggies. It was served with a red sweet and sour dipping sauce. If you like flavorful foods and want to try something different, I recommend the Lao sausage. I've seen this item on the menu at Thai Restaurant of Norcross (great Thai restaurant), but admittedly never tried it until yesterday. It's a fatty pork sausage infused with all sorts of herbs and spices including lemongrass and chili peppers. It's spicy and savory. The sticky rice that came with was quite good too. Chili pepper jars were in dire need of refills. The roasted red chili flakes were fine, but they hardly had any garlic chili paste and jalapeno vinegar sauce left. Unfortunately, no Thai chilis in fish sauce (my favorite). The floor inside the restaurant was very sticky. Other than that, interior is quite clean and atmosphere is casual. Small space that is sparsely decorated. They have a TV. Tables for four can easily be arranged to seat large groups. Checks can be separated at the register. Pad Thai is tucked away in a strip mall on the East-West Connector. The sign for United Dr. is not very visible, so it's easy to pass the strip mall if you're not careful. The restaurant is located in between a dry cleaner and a package store. It's just down the street from another strip mall with another Thai restaurant, Curry Curry. 3.5 stars rounded up to 4.
(4)Weleys S.
Ya the Laos sausage is good, only real authentic dish I had. I guess it makes sense since owners are from Laos. I was expecting a ton more (onion, garlic, coconut) flavor in the gravies and curries. While Thai food is subpar at best in Atlanta I would barely recommend this place. If I'm in the area and need Thai food, I'd much rather go to Baan thai. This restaurant also seems to be reporting any negative review and even legit yelpers' reviews are being filter. STOP THIS!!!!
(3)Hastings M.
This is our go-to for Thai and Chinese delivery! They are always quick and the food is great. We love the Pad Thai and General Tso's Chicken. The vegetarian spring rolls are amazing!
(4)Brent S.
Food was delicious! Owners were on site and extremely kind. The Pad Thai was tasty, Coconut soup was flavorful and perfect temperature. The Curry Puffs were great! Definitely a hidden gem with outstanding prices!
(5)Jang C.
Pad Thai? That's like having a Chinese Restaurant called, "Egg Drop Soup" or an American place named, "Cheeseburger." Hmm, maybe it's not so strange after all. I came here for lunch and dinner and had a chance to try out some of their dishes. This seems like a solid Thai restaurant in the Smyrna area. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. Just like the name implies, they serve Thai food. They also have a Chinese section. I guess for some people, an Asian restaurant means Chinese food. I'm curious how many people order their Chinese dishes, and if it tastes good. Their appetizer rolls all tasted good: the fresh basil rolls, the cream cheese crab roll, and their standard spring roll. I liked their Sticky Rice with Laos Sausage. It's a sausage seasoned with many different spices. It came with some chili paste and sticky rice. I loved the chili paste, which I smeared on the rice and the sausage. It reminded me of Korean gochu-jang. The sausage seemed seasoned well. I loved the combination of the flavors in the sausage and the chili paste. I would recommend you to try this side dish. Their Noodle dishes tasted good like their Pad Zee Yu and Pad Thai. Strangely, these noodle dishes don't appear on the lunch menu. They are only available on the dinner menu. You can still order them during lunch if you ask for them. They taste good and give you a huge portion. For dinner, I had their Gang Ped Roasted Duck. I love duck, and Pad Thai made it delicious. It is a sweet red curry with duck, eggplants, green beans, basil, peppers, and bamboo shoots. I loved the duck meat in it. It was so tender, juicy and full of flavor. Their Siam Chili with shrimp was good too. But I thought it was a bit weak. On the menu, it had 2 chili symbols on it. I barely tasted the heat. Maybe they're catering to the Smyrna-ians, but I expected to be hotter. I've had much hotter at other Thai restaurants. Nevertheless, I thought it still tasted good. Pad Thai is a nice, mom-and-pop restaurant in Smyrna. During busy times, their daughter seems overwhelmed. Maybe they should get one more help. Anyway, they make great food. I also love how close they are to my house. 4 stars.
(4)Amber H.
I ordered the basil rolls, tom yum soup with shrimp and pad thai chicken. The basil rolls and tom yum were DELICIOUS, the pad thai was good but not the best I have ever had - which is okay because it wasn't bad. I'm new to Atlanta and needed to fulfill a pregnancy craving and this place definitely did it!
(4)Randy W.
Had dinner their last night. Excellent friendly service. Tom Kha soup was very good as well as the green curry. Worth stopping by.
(4)Pascal K.
I had the red curry rice with chicken as to go. They were very friendly and didn't have to wait too long for my order. The restaurant has a bunch of tables where you can eat. The restaurant appeared to me as they most likely have people order the food instead of eating there. My entree was alright, had fresh and tasty greens in it. The entrees start at around $10, which I found slightly overpriced for what you got. As I said, the food was average and fresh -as it is a 10 min drive for me to get there, I would not necessarily need to come back. Most likely reasoning this to the price and value as to go.
(3)Keisha J.
Love this spot! Have been here twice in 2 weeks. Ordered pad thai with shrimp thai hot the first time, and my server remembered my order when I came in the second time! Food was exceptional! Nice balance of flavors. I prefer my food well seasoned and they delivered! I am also gluten free and coming here doesn't bother me. Please go and experience it!
(5)Mary H.
Wow, so they completely forgot to put my delivery order in, charged my card and then when I called to let them know that I've been waiting for over an hour, all I got was a weak, "we didn't put your order in, can you give us another hour" I told them to just cancel it and they promptly hung up on me. BUT HERE'S THE KICKER, literally 10 minutes later the food is delivered to my door?? I think I've been really generous with this place because it's just so so close to my house but unless I'm desperate for Thai, I'm probably not coming back...
(1)Sandra M.
Really wasn't expecting much from this place but whoa.... It has to be our favorite little thai place at the moment. The first time we ate here we dined in and had an absolutely amazing dinner. The second time we had take out, and I think it was even better than the first time. If you like REAL Thai food then this is the place! Everything we had so far from the Pad thai, to all the curries, to the laarb, was spot on. Would definitely recommend!!!!!
(5)Kat W.
Great meal! Did a to go order based strictly off yelp reviews and sight unseen. The location is cheesy and reminds you of...some place you really don't want to eat at. Maybe its the strip mall setting, to bright lights or just in the middle of nowhere location. The menu is interesting and I was left sorta wondering which direction to go. So we played "both countries"..lol I had the General Tso's chicken and pot stickers. The GF ordered the drunken noodles with tofu. We split an order of Sticky Rice with Laos Sausage and the Curry Puffs. OMG the sticky rice and sausage was amazing from the first bite. The rice was a perfect accompaniment to the spicy sausage and whatever amazing sauce that was on the side. The curry puffs were a meal by themselves and freaking fantastic. I should have ordered two of those, one for tonight and one for tomorrow. The main meal items were good but almost a let down compared to the awesome sides we ordered. In the end highly recommend and can't wait to play with the menu on the next visit, which will be soon!
(4)J G.
Yum. Ordered pad thai, gang mussaman, pad see-ew and all three were delicious! Went on a Tuesday evening and no one was there except for people picking up to go orders. Service was awesome and very family friendly, we took my almost two year old future food critic nephew, and he was quite pleased. Great food and great night!
(5)Liz B.
I really adore this place and the fact they serve both chinese and some pretty scrumptious thai food as well. The Mango sticky rice is one of my favorites and something that you don't see often (even at restaurants that serve only thai food). The reason I'm only giving 4 stars? They never have hot and sour soup anymore, which is my absolute favorite next to pho or korean tofu soup. Please bring it back so I can throw my money at you more often :(

I got the sausage and rice and the curry puffs because people were going on and on about it on Yelp. The curry puffs were really good. The sausage and rice were just meh. I expected more from all the hype I guess. Maybe it was an off day for the sausage and rice. The coconut soup and drunken noodle were both really good.
(3)Benjamin B.
They get 4 stars instead of 5 strictly for the complete lack of ambiance. Keeping in mind that they have provided the obligatory cheesy fountain, waving cat and dusty artificial flower centerpieces that seem to be a requirements for mom-and-pop Asian restaurants in the US. We arrived and my first instinct was to leave. I remember thinking, how could Yelp let me down? (sad face) Let me tell you, I'm glad we stayed! All of our meals were delicious, presented nicely and portion size was excellent. We've eaten at the restaurant once and had it delivered twice. The delivery is nice but it seems that the portion size diminishes as it goes into the takeout box. Overall, surprisingly good experience!

Great atmosphere, excellent service, great food, and good value. What more can you ask for?
(4)Pari P.
My total came to around $40 bucks when the menu on yelp clearly states other pricing. Basil roll says 2.95 and the dude said 4.95, drunken noodles 11.95 when it says 8.95. Watch out for the over charging. Shady!
(2)Mark J.
General taos chicken was hard and over fried. The crab Rangoon's were below average and they were out of hot and sour soup and egg drop soup
(2)Kevin W.
Since Curry Curry didn't deliver (but they do now) Pad Thai became our delivery Thai place by default. I think we have tried nearly the whole menu, which is pretty standard, and the food is never bad but never exceptional. I tend to think of Pad Thai as our Domino's pizza of Thai food - you call, they come bring you food, you know what you're getting and you're ok with that.
(3)Emily B.
Food was delicious and service was good. My 4 yr old loved the pad thai and spring rolls. We can't ask for much more.
(4)Steve D.
Great place. Not busy at all. We had the Basil rolls that were great. We also had the curry puffs and they are to die for! A must try. The wife had the yellow chicken curry which was very good and I had the Siam chili that was great but not very spicy at all. They have a dinner for 2 for $20 special that include 2 Soups or spring rolls an 2 entrees!!!
(5)Alvino C.
The shrimp fried rice was super dry and without flavor, the chicken wings are not good. Everything seemed overcooked. The menu says eight wings, but we only received only six. I don't know what the rave reviews are for, this place needs some help.

Great service. Fast delivery. Large portions and great prices. We started off with Thai Spring Rolls. They were lightly breaded and obviously home made (not frozen and fried). They were cut at an angle into smaller pieces for presentation and consumption. They were served with a side of sweet duck sauce (or sweet and sour) with crumbled peanuts in the sweet sauce. This order was slightly over cooked, but i ordered them a half hour before closing so im not going to ding them for slightly over cooking them. I would definitely order these again as an appetizer. We ordered a Chicken Pad Thai which was good. Not the very best I have ever eaten, but good nonetheless and would order again. Noodles were cooked perfectly, chicken was tender and the sauce was very good. Overall a well seasoned a cooked dish. We also ordered the General Tso's Chicken. The breaking was thick, but tasty. Chicken, mainly consisted of darker meat was large and cooked well and fairly tender. The sauce was your typical thick sweet General Tso sauce you get at any Asian restaurant. The plate was well seasoned and not too spicy. Portions were large so you won't feel hungry 30 mins later. Overall not the absolute best, "slap your Asian grandma" Chinese - Thai food I've ever had, but definitely a place I will repeat. With its location, delivery options, great prices and big portion sizes and good tasting food, we'll definitely be back!
(4)Valerie H.
Pretty darn good. I LOVE the way they prepare their rice. Full of onions, scallions, basil (I think), etc. I like it a LOT. The General's chicken was a little on the salty side (probably lots of soy) but it kinda worked for me. It wasn't spicy though, so I was a little disappointed but overall I was pleased.
(4)Kelly B.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! been forever since i had jow (spicey sauce for sticky rice) and wings.. an old faithful dish that was absolutely perfect!!! love it!
(5)Robert L.
Poor service. Bland food. Went into the place to try it out for the first time late last year ('10). Waited at the front to order take-out...not a soul in the place. Some kid was playing on the computer at a desk in the back. Finally got his attention and ordered. Food was o.k. January 2011, I ordered delivery and they screwed up my address so bad it took them 2 hours to deliver our food. Food arrived cold, tasted bland. Will not be patronizing this place anymore. They won't last long.

I have to say I am not from the area of this restaurant and I had my doubts but I have to say the coconut curry soup was great but the side of fried rice that I got with my dinner had to be the best fried rice I have ever eaten. How ever I love everything Thai and Chinese and the menu was a little misleading, I only went the safe route and ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken because it said it was in the sauce. I had not had good Sweet and Sour in years cause they always put the sauce on the side and the menu stated that it was in the sauce it was not. Why did every Chinese place do this and ruin one of the best items on the menu. However they will do it in the sauce so I tried it another time and they totally redeemed themselves OMG it was the best. Now I can try the Pad Thai can't wait. This is on of the best Thai : Chinese Restaurants and the cost is very very pleasing as well

Went there on a Monday evening to try it out for the first time & use my Restaurant.com certificate. Well there is a sign on the door that says "We are no longer accepting gift certificates" and I thought surely that doesn't mean Restaurant.com certificates, since I literally just printed it off a half-hour earlier. But yes, our server confirmed that they were under new ownership and that the new owner was not honoring the certificates. Hmph. So that wasn't a great way to begin a meal. We stayed because I really wanted Thai food and I was starving, so I figured I'll eat and just pay for my meal like a normal person. The menu does a good job of indicating which items are spicy, using a cute little pepper icon, so that was very helpful, as I can't eat very spicy food. (yeah yeah I know, why are you trying Thai then right??) But a lot of the food didn't have a pepper icon and I really enjoyed it. I had the basil rolls off the appetizer menu. They come chilled with a dark peanut sauce on the side. They're filled with shrimp, pork, a ton of fresh basil, rice noodles & bean sprouts and wrapped in rice paper. They are delish and they're not fried like an egg roll would be. Now maybe you Thai aficionados already knew that, but being new to Thai, it was a lovely surprise. For my dinner, I had the Tom Kha (Coconut milk soup) and it was YUMMY. A huge portion of delicious coconutty broth, with mushrooms, Thai ginger, and some other stuff. I specifically asked our server to have them go light on anything spicy & it worked! It had just the right amount of heat that I could feel it, but it wasn't too spicy hot for me to eat. My friend ordered the shrimp pad thai and it was also lovely, and a huge portion too! We each had a soda and our entire bill was just under $25, so you can't beat that. I will definitely go back again when I'm on that side of town!
(4)Kathy E.
My daughter went there for the special 9.99 includes appetizer and entrée. My daughter ordered egg rolls and a chicken dish, DELICIOUS. I ordered a spicy chicken dish and the soup with coconut also EXCELLENT ...sorry can't recall the exact names its been awhile, I just wanted everyone to be aware there is a GEM in Smyrna. Additionally, I normally don't like egg rolls...their egg rolls were very tasty. I'm craving the soup now...ENJOY!
(5)Steven A.
I see a lot of 4 star reviews here and I'm not sure this place warrants that much. But it is a solid neighborhood Chinese/Thai spot. Good food, but not great. I don't know why there are never many people inside. Especially considering the very popular Siracusa's is two doors down.
(3)Brett H.
Yep, I've done a lot of Thai in my time. Been here and there when it comes to Thai in Atlanta. That being said, this is about as good as it gets. When they opened this place next to Curry Curry I was surprised because it was literally a block away. Now I know why they did it....this place dominates Curry Curry. Fresh, delicious and authentic! Im pumped to have this place in my neighborhood. I tried the Red Curry, Nam Sod and the Drunken Noodes...all FO' REAL! Also, very affordable and large portions! Its got it all people! Smyrna now has really good Thai!
(5)Jason S.
I'm a big fan of Pad Thai. That said, the food is inconsistent. When it's good, it's very, very good. Even when it's not great, it's still better than most Asian food in this area. Also, they've messed up my delivery order on more than one occasion -- okay, about 25% of the time! They always remedy the situation (and sometimes the mistake is in my favor, like doubling an order and not charging me), but it's still frustrating to get the wrong food. I'll keep going back though...on most occasions, I'm very happy with my meal.
(4)Brian M.
Hands down my favorite Thai restaurant. Service can be a little slow--go with people you like to talk to. The usual server is a sweetheart and always takes great care of us. Spice runs on the mild side--just tell them if you want something more intense. They also have a frequent visit card, so you'll earn free entrees if you become a regular.
(5)Heather F.
The food here is great! It's very fresh, with lots of healthy options. I've never been to the actual restaurant, but they deliver, and I order at least once every two weeks. Yummy!
(4)Neal G.
Probably our favorite local restaurant. Food is always good as is their service. My wife is mostly vegetarian and can substitute tofu as the protein on all of their dishes. I love their spicy basil eggplant(done with or without tofu)dish(which my daughter has also grown to love). My wife's favorite right now is the Mapo Tofu. the Curry is good and is my son's favorite. My daughter's favorite is what everyone else has ordered. We usually get the spring rolls as the appetizer which have always been good.
(4)Gina H.
Really nice cozy place. Food is great, I would definitely recommend it. My favs are panang chicken and garlic pepper beef. Everything is fresh and good quality. I have gone there with a group of people, ordered multiple dishes and shared...everything was good. I live in the area and is a go to restaurant for me and my BF
(5)Thomas H.
(5)Ben B.

(4)Brent S.
Food was delicious! Owners were on site and extremely kind. The Pad Thai was tasty, Coconut soup was flavorful and perfect temperature. The Curry Puffs were great! Definitely a hidden gem with outstanding prices!
(5)J G.
(5)Pascal K.

Go figure.

My husband said his pho was good and my green curry was decent. The basil rolls were decent too but nothing blew my socks off. I have had better but the service was excellent. Everyone was really nice and in point.

I'm having the spicy basil eggplant and I asked for added tofu. Delish. Not in my neighborhood but convenient to my trips to the silver comet trail. Another reason to bike.

First time I went for lunch and asked for Pad Thai. Tasteless greasy noodles. As this is the name of the place, they should learn how to make them. Second time, I tryed the Chinese food. General Tso's chicken. Ugh! The worst ever! There will not be a third time!

This is our go-to for Thai and Chinese delivery! They are always quick and the food is great. We love the Pad Thai and General Tso's Chicken. The vegetarian spring rolls are amazing!

4 stars.

Had dinner their last night. Excellent friendly service. Tom Kha soup was very good as well as the green curry. Worth stopping by.

Enjoy!

Really, really like the food here. They have great fried rice. AND with identification, all military veterans/active duty personnel get a discount! Way to support!
