This is your typical Brusters... it has a good selection of treats, but the prices are pretty high. However, compared to the TCBY I reviewed a few days ago, the value is pretty good. I think the kids treats are actually the best. I got a small ice cream and a dinosaur cookie for about $3. My girlfriend got something involving vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and gummy worms. The staff here is a little off... the guy waiting on us seemed like he was under a lot of stress or something. The operation had a strange vibe that I can't quite describe. Overall, I would probably avoid this place. If you're desperate for some ice cream, you know what to expect.

I love having icecreams any day and any time. In this cold weather definitely an icecream drives you crazy.!! 1. Options- tons of them. Though I keep myself to pick a small cup with 2 scoops of favorite flavors 2. Recommend- try white turtle which has pecans in it. 3. Price- very very affordable.! A cone or a small cup costs you less than $5, which can be spent once in while I think:-) 4. Quantity- for me small cup itself is a lot when I think of the amount of sugar intake.!! Lol..! I can still not resist having once a month

Brusters isn't the first place that comes to mind when it comes to Ice Cream, but its the closest ice cream shop to my house. Service here is good and the line moves pretty fast on a busy Saturday summer day.

Delicious tasting ice cream...the location is close to home and the workers are very pleasant. The strawberry shortcake is sooooooo delicious!!! Be careful with kids running around the lot on a sugar high...you might end up running over an unexpected "speed bump" lol

Let me start here. While visiting bestbuy last night I missed several calls and text messages from my wife. Her request or pregnancy craving was for Ice Cream from Brusters. Darn I just left there! Checked the website for their hours. 11:00 PM excellent and off I went. Oh, let me add into the pouring rain I ventured. Arrived at 9:21 to find 2 employees unwilling to greet me at the Window. Finally after my repeated tapping on the Window, I was addressed with we're closed . Not friendly at all. Downright rude! I inquired if there was another location near by. And was meet with " I dont know"! Sadly and unfortunately I returned home to a unhappy, unquenched crazing of a pregnant wife. Brusters goes into the hall of shame!

Bruster's is my favorite chain ice cream. The waffle cone is huge, and I believe you can get two flavors for no charge with the regular waffle cone. My son also really loves the "dirt sundae", where you get ice cream covered in crushed oreo bits, with a gummy worm inside to make it really like dirt. He LOVES it! If they ever have Graham Central Station on the menu, you must try it! With the creamy ice cream and gritty graham cracker it is like a symphony on your tongue! I have never introduced anyone to it who didn't love it. Other great flavors: Turtle, Cookie Dough (it can be too much though!), and Buckeye. My two complaints, there are a lot of flavors I would never order (bubblegum, really?), and they always have the standard vanilla, chocolate and strawberry, which are fine but who would get that wit so many other great options? Also the seasonal flavors like pumpkin or girl scout cookie also don't appeal to me, but to each his own... Secondly, their ice cream cakes are not very good. The cake doesn't taste good to me, and I'd rather you just bring me a gallon for my birthday. Or two gallons if they have my flavors.

Ice cream, ice cream, ice cream. Cups, cones, shakes, sundaes, if there's a way to serve ice cream, then they have a way to serve it to you. Decent selection of about 20 or so flavors. Vanilla and chocolate and cookie dough are part of their core "always available" flavors. And then they have whatever is in season, blackberry or butter pecan or Peach and a dozen others. Drive slow. Kids tend to run around a lot when there is ice cream at stake. Not much of a seating area and nothing under cover in case there is a sudden rain storm.

I called ahead of time and asked did they have Eggnog flavored ice cream. I was told YES, drove all the way over there to be told, they don't have it and given a shoulder shrug. Unprofessional! Ugh

Have been to Bruster's several times and have never had such bad service. Came at 9:20 to get a shake and apparently you can't get one of those because it's too close to closing at 10:00. If we came 10 minutes before closing then I would get it, but 40 minutes??? LAZY!!! Left without anything and went to Steak n Shake instead.

Brusters have always been my favorite Ice Cream chain. They always had good flavors, and they never failed to satisfy my cravings for ice cream. Brusters is always a stand. You are forced to be outside when you buy their ice cream. So even when it's too hot, cold, raining, or whatever, you still have to eat your ice cream outside. That's my only complaint about them. You can have your ice cream in variety of ways. You can get it in a waffle cone, in a pint, in a cup, as a smoothie, as a blast, as a sundae, as a split, and other variations. They also have a ton of flavors. Not all of their flavors are available at once. They rotate the flavors occasionally. Also, at this location, they have specials every day. Each day is a different special. For example, on Thursday, they have a half off banana split deal if you bring your own banana. Friday has my favorite deal: 2 brownie sundae for half off. Speaking of the brownie sundae, that's probably my favorite thing to get at Brusters. The brownie and ice cream taste good together. They top it off with whipped cream with a cherry on top. It is also gigantic. It should be big enough to share, but I like to be a greedy, fat pig and eat it all for myself. Of course, at my age, I pay for it later. Their portions are big. Even if you get a single scoop of Waffle Cone, it looks like multiple big scoops. I feel you get your money's worth here. They don't try to be fancy, they're just your old fashioned ice cream shack.

You really can't go wrong at Bruster's. The ice cream is excellent, I've enjoyed everything I've tried. I usually go for a thick shake made from their chocolate fudge chunk ice cream. Other times I've had banana splits, or just a cup of ice cream. My only gripe for this location is for a standalone ice cream stand, there are very few places to sit. They have room for more than their two benches....

As much as I hate to admit, I like Bruster's because of their salty nuts. Yes, the ice cream is good, yes, they stay open until around 11pm and yes, you can see crowds of folks getting their ice cream fix at all hours. It's those nuts that keep drawing me back, though. They're perfect in the turtle sundae. The nuts complement the caramel and ice cream wonderfully- it's all I can get when I go there. One day, I'll venture into other flavors, but for now I'm gobbling up the nuts.

I love this place!!! Anytime I go, I have to choose between at least three flavors that are irresistible for me. You probably have no interest in my personal list of ice cream favorites. But here it goes anyway because it shows just how diverse they are with their fresh and seasonal flavors. Here's my list: Pumpkin Pecan in the Fall, Girl Scout Cookies Mint right now, Maple Walnut in the summer and Butter Pecan year-round. Now I've made myself hungry for Bruster's. But they've already closed for the evening.... My favorite thing is watching the young adults behind the counter serve the little kids. Kids below a certain height get a small free ice cream cone. Everyone is touched by these cuties. A few weeks ago, I was there when a mod brother-and-sister duo awaited their ice cream. They were so cute and well-behaved while they held their heads tilted back and staring up at the counter. You could tell that the server was taken by them when he reached all the way down to serve them. Priceless!

I always have really good service when I come to this location. This Brusters is located in a busy shopping center across the street from some pretty awesome chain restaurants on Cumberland Rd so this is a go-to place for some after dinner ice cream.

Brusters is an old fashoined, stand-in-line-and-order-your-cone kinda place. Lots of flavors. No soft serve. Great quality. Lines can get long as each order is hand dipped. The wait is worth it, though. It's like being a kid again when visiting Brusters.

One of the best ice creams I have ever had. I absolutely love the chocolate raspberry truffle. It's like "no one can eat just once"; my friends and I keep visiting this place almost every weekend.

This is a chain but I've never seen one before moving here. I heard a funny story from a friend of mine about a little girl throwing a huge tantrum because they were out of "Purple Dinosaur". So naturally I had to see what the fuss was all about. Before going, I did some prior research and it turns out that Purple Dinosaur is just vanilla ice cream with purple food coloring...delicious. Sadly, however, by the time we got a chance to go (meaning it was my husband's birthday and we were using the BOGO free waffle cone coupon you get for signing up for the e-mail list) - THERE WAS NO PURPLE DINOSAUR. So after I threw a tantrum of my own I ordered the Key Lime Pie ice cream. Mah gawd there must be crack in it because I cannot stop thinking about its delicious key lime flavor and pie crust bits inside. My husband ordered something which I did not bother wasting my stomach space on because mine was too good. Also, the serving size was ridiculous...I'm pretty sure it was three servings at least. All of which I ate and later felt like throwing up, but did not regret of course. The store is neat: just a bunch of counters and as soon as you get close to it someone pops out of a window and offers to help you. There are multiple windows and multiple people popping out all the time, it's pretty funny. Soooo good service, huge servings, and if everything is as tasty as the key lime pie then I don't see why you shouldn't go once a week! That's normal right?

It is so hit or miss. Sometimes the flavors are awesome, sometimes its hard to find one that tastes good. The prices are inconsistent as well. My bf ordered the strawberry shortcake once with extra shortcake and was charged an extra dollar. Saturday night they told him they would charge him for 2 strawberry shortcakes. I'd like to go on byo-banna night for the half price banana splits. For every once and a while its fine, otherwise I'll just stick with Ben and Jerry's from the grocery store.

So we dropped by, got the smallest cake they have which they had with our exact flavors (serves 12-16), got the cake personalized (I loved how it literally took seconds for him to write on the cake and yet it looked so perfect!) and paid our 26 bucks (including tax) and left. BEST SERVICE EVER. I'm not sure how much ice cream cakes go for since I don't think I've ever bought one before but for the convenience, professionalism, quick service, and yummy cake, I believe the price we paid was well worth it.
