The 3 of us had dinner at Pacci this evening. Everything we had was good with some being excellent. Here are the items we ordered collectively and my opinion of each... Apple + Gorgonzola Salad. This was delicious. I could have used some extra blue cheese. Ravioli Zucca. The pumpkin ravioli were out of this world and cooked perfectly. I love when pasta has a firm bite to it. These ravioli were amazing. Asparagus Carbonara. Wow! Possibly the best dish we ordered. Coca Cola Glazed Short Ribs. Delicious. The sauce had great taste and consistency. The risotto was a bit hard. I would have liked it cooked a little more. Filet Piccolini. Frank ordered his steak medium but it came medium rare. The steak did have good taste but some parts were straight up raw. He also didn't like his gnocchi. The gnocchi wasn't bad, it just wasn't what he thought. For desert we shared a tiramisu. The cream on this was so fluffy and delicious. It had a subtle coffee taste so if you like the strong kaluha type, this tiramisu is not for you. All in all this was a nice meal. I withheld a star because the service was a bit confusing, we could barely hear our server and the runner on our table had food splatter from the previous patrons. Enjoy!

This is not your typical "red sauce and pasta" restaurant. That said, it was delicious. Started with ceviche and the Arancini, which we reordered (only three I the order). We followed with the Turkey Panini, Cacio de Pepe and the Creste de Gallo. The sandwich was a great version of a "thanksgiving' like meal , the Creste had beautiful flavoring and the Cacio was light and very tasty. We finished our lunch with the Bombolinos, five little doughnuts with rhubarb/berry jam that were unreal. They were sweet/sour and spicy YUMMY!

I came here with my folks on a recent trip to Savannah. At the time, Pacci was pretty new to Savannah. I guess there are multiple locations of Pacci but this is the first time I've heard of it. Since we weren't too starving we split a cheese board, a meat board, and the Georgia flatbread. I really liked the Georgia flatbread - it was by far my favorite. It was surprisingly large and the ricotta was really fresh. We had the prosciutto de parma and the sopressatta on the meat board - the proscuitto was a little gristly but I don't necessarily count it against Pacci because it seems like every meat board I've eaten lately has had gristly prosciutto on it. I was disappointed by the cheese board. I have been on a big cheese kick lately and I just thought the cheese choices on the menu were all kinda agressive cheeses, in other words, really strong, with nothing milder to tame the stronger ones. Some more fruit probably would have helped. We did really enjoy the Leoci jam even though my mother isn't the biggest fig fan. I do think this restaurant has a lot of potential and maybe we just made poor ordering choices. It is definitely very beautiful and unique (my mother particularly loved all the books on the wall in our alcove) and I can see it as being a "see and be seen" location in Savannah: there were a bunch of beautiful people coming in and out. I would probably go back for drinks.

Food was delicious. I had the Gnocchi which was really good, I did add on the shrimp for an additional $7 which featured 4ea ~26ct shrimp that were not local (thumbs down), not that the menu said they were local but for $7 I would have expected perhaps a shrimp per $ or at least 5ea 20ct local shrimp. The Cheese board was very good the bread at the table very good. The biggest issue that will be a deal breaker in the future, is the horrible acoustics, if you're going there to reunite and catch up with family you haven't seen in forever, propose marriage, or close the deal of the life time, you may want to consider a different place.

A terrific space in downtown Savannah with very reasonable prices to match. Service was super friendly and our waiter pointed me to the pork belly which was absolutely delicious. The hand-made pasta was terrific and the atmosphere was "comfortably modern." Would gladly go back next time I'm in town.

Wow!! Best staff and terrific food! We were treated like family! Met some locals as well who were a pleasure to be around. Definitely a compliment to The Brice Hotel. We have 2 little girls under 2 and Eric and Erin were very helpful in setting us up in a good spot. Food was terrific and we had some cocktails from right off the cuff. We ended up eating here twice in our three day weekend. A great reflection on management and a compatible team. Looking forward to coming back. Pork Belly was delicious and all pastas are out of this world!

Sexy, sophisticated, relaxing atmosphere, delicious Italian food with friendly service is what Roberto Leoci created when he opened Pacci. My first visit and I had the scrumptious rice balls, delicious. One problem, there were only 3 plated with very little sauce. Please give me at least 4. If there are two people in my case we did not want to share the third rice ball, they are to good to have to split! The gnocchi melted in my mouth, and the brussels were cooked to perfection. I did order chicken and mushrooms for a extra zing on my gnocchi and I will have to say I had to search for the 4 shrooms that were added to my dish. I was so disappointed because I love mushrooms but the chicken was tasty. The overall all dish was definitely delightful and I would order it again. Nick our server was a good fit for Pacci, it was like he had always been there and maybe he has. He was kinda sexy, sophisticated, friendly and wonderful! I left happy and that's what it's all about, I will definitely be back.

The kitchen is not consistent or hot on food service. Pasta overdone and not hot. Flavors are right but cold. I sent back my pasta as it was like warm and shrimp were cold. I asked for a a total re-do and all they did was reheat. No apologies, nothing else. Expensive for something I could make ff a box and it did not feel fresh. You would be better served to dine elsewhere as they are poorly run. Do they know how to fine dishes? My god it is so loud you can't hear a damm thing.

We visited Pacci with a group of seven on a very busy Friday. The staff and kitchen were well equipped for the crowds. We were all pleased with our food and service. We look forward to our next visit.

Keegan, an excellent waiter with great recommendations. Engaged, listened and interacted throughout entire visit. Made tonight an outstanding experience. Much success to Pacci! Enjoyed the Red Snapper with white wine and capers over angel hair, while my husband had the. hunter's Ravioli. Limoncello finished an thoroughly meal in the Secret Garden courtyard.

Very classy place. Awesome service. Our waiter was Tristan...this guy was so attentive....great place for a nice evening. Can't say enough about this place...

This place makes me happy and makes me feel cool. Not only is the design of the place impeccable but the food is divine. The staff's attention to us was wonderful. My husband and I came here for a rare date night and to celebrate his Masters thesis completion. The fish was amazing and fresh, perfectly seasoned and cooked. The wine and appetizers (an Oregon Pinot Noir, truffle fries, risotto balls, bread) were awesome. When I made the reservations, I noted that the dinner was a special treat for his graduation...not only did the hostess congratulate him upon seating us, our server also congratulated him, gave him a free tiramisu (yum!), and he also got a handwritten congratulatory note. The attention to detail is something you don't find at most restaurants. Will definitely eat here again and recommend to friends living in and visiting Savannah.

Wonderful - a great meal. We arrived in Savannah late on a Friday night (1 May) and immediately checked Yelp for a place to eat. Pacci was recommended and so we quickly made reservations. As we were staying in the historic district, it seemed like it took us forever to walk there (we were all tired from driving) but the walk was definitely worth it. Second best meal we had in Savannah - right behind (almost tied with) the Olde Pink House. There were 6 in our party and every meal was delicious. From start to finish - bread, drinks, appetizers, service - all was exceptional. The pasta was as good as some I have eaten in Italy...fresh pasta...and the sausage in the pasta was wonderful. I had the gnocchi and it was delicious - not at all mushy as some gnocchi is. The only drawback is that the place was packed, and, as a result, LOUD. But I would definitely go there again.

I had dinner here two nights ago after spending a fabulous night in the hotel. The food is so wonderful and extremely well priced. But that's just the half of it. The signature martinis and mixed drinks are some of the best I've ever tasted and the staff were so accommodating as well as funny and entertaining. Not to mention the decor and ambiance were perfect. I cannot wait to return and spend the weekend at the hotel and dine here again next month for my birthday.

The beef carpaccio is the best I have ever had. This place has great fresh food surround by a modern, chic atmosphere. You must check it out.

The overall experience was good; however, our order was messed up twice which made us feel like we needed to say something which is always uncomfortable. And the lighting is a bit bright. Good food and fun time overall!!!!!!!!

Amazing! From the moment we pulled up we were treated so nicely. I am not sure everyone will understand the concept here. Service, fresh handmade and locally sourced ingredients, and employees excited about what they are doing. So if you hate all of these things don't go! My only complaint is the noise level. The tile floors are beautiful but it was LOUD and hard to carry on any conversation. Thankfully the food ( salami and asher blue cheese , hunter ravioli , cauliflower mash.. everything just right!) insane it was so fantastic made me feel so happy I didn't want to talk. The bartender Sydney is like a chemist who minored in psychology. I would enjoy a more varied wine list also. The choices were good for what I had in mind, but would love to have a more varied selection...hint hint! This place is spot on what Savannah has been missing and I am very glad to have discovered it. If you don't go you really are missing out. Chef Leoici knows how to do uptown cool with a rustic flair. Make a reservation as it is is small and was jammed last night with locals and tourists. foodasrecreation.blogspo…

Amazing food... I'm a bit fussy so rarely find a place where I want to eat everything on the menu! We went for dinner two nights in a row. It's not your standard Italian fare, it's more modern and much lighter. Bill was pretty reasonable too

I need to post something to get the negativity over with. This is my favorite brunch location in Savannah. The food is just unique enough and light enough, and the service and atmosphere is perfect. In a city that desperately deserves quality, its a strange turn of events when a hotel is providing the model for dining. But I am not going to argue with good thing. Rather, I'll be returning again and again.

Went here for breakfast. The staff is very nice and attentive. I had the french toast and it was one of the best recipes I've ever had! Looks/feels/smells new. I hope to go back!

Glad we decided to stop in for a quick bite and cocktails! We stayed at The Brice and before our evening out in Savannah we had some Delish apps and great cocktails! The best part are the happy hour prices! Where else can you a get a $5 Negroni?!? The staff was great as well! Highly recommended if you're staying at the hotel or not!

We visited Savannah last week with the express intent of attending the wine dinner on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. We were not disappointed. Our daughter used to work at the Pacci when it used to be in Atlanta. We were always please with the food there. This was a totally different experience. First, we had like a 5 course dinner with each course paired with a different Frescobaldi wine. It was all fabulous from the crispy clam salad to the Pancetta wrapped rabbit loin to the Cafe' Vita SemiFreddo with chocolate covered coffee beans... it was ALL delicious! Executive Chef Roberto Leoci outdid himself. You must try Pacci if ever you are in Savannah. If you can't get to Pacci, then go to Roberto's other restaurant, Leoci's, on Abercorn, which is always fantastic!

First off, the service was phenomenal and their housemade Bourbon and Cola really hit the spot. My wife and I (both vegetarians) ordered the gemeli pasta plate and the Florentine flatbread. Both were good...but...nothing worth returning for. The gnocchi seemed appealing enough, but we couldn't pull the trigger on that. On a more positive note, the arancini appetizer was excellent...as was our waiter. Maybe the meat dishes deliver more promise? All in all, a good place to get some higher-end Italian grub.

My husband and I went to Pacci to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was wonderful!! I had the gnocchi and he had red snapper and both were perfect. The service was outstanding and there was even a hand written note from the restaurant congratulating us on our anniversary.

  • Ann J.

Nice staff, beautiful atmosphere, worse food ever eaten. I ordered Pasta and tomato sauce , pretty basic for any Italian restaurant. although it was fresh , it was way over cooked and really mushy.. The tomato sauce was horrid ...and so thick and way too rich. Probably too much cream. Salad Cesar was edible but nothing special. Husband ordered Gorgonzola salad and he said it was just ok. His main dish gnocchi Was also bad...overcooked and mushy. Wish it was better as it was connected to a very cool hotel Brice.

We went here by default, because our anniversary fell on a Monday. What luck! The food was really excellent and the service was even better. Jameel [sp?] and Nick were extraordinarily good. The manager, Brandon, made a special effort to make us welcome. Definitely coming back.

This is an amazing Northern Italian style trendy place. The drinks were carefully prepared with love by an amazing bartender named Sydney. There was a bit of a wait but so well with it. The food was delicious. We had some many amazing dishes. All well prepared with culinary style. Crisp clean contemporary modern decor. Fantastic service from beginning to end. By the way, get the carmel cheesecake. Fantastic!!

I made our reservation via yelp and noted it was our wedding anniversary. From the time we walked in we were congratulated, we even got a nice welcome glass of champagne and a congratulation card left on our table and our server (Keegan) was great! Now onto the food...I had the braised beef ravioli and wow was it delicious. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the beef was, well it could have easily stood on its own. My husband had the sea bass special and added the mushroom risotto both were very good. The portions were perfect, leaving enough room for a great espresso and desert. I had the amaretto cheesecake which I can say was easily one of the best cheesecakes, if not the best I've ever had. My husband had the lemon sorbet which was perfectly tart. Thank you for a wonderful meal and for making us feel special on our special day!!!

I have been a couple of times to Pacci. The location is so that it is connected to the Kimpton hotel but it does feel like its own restaurant. The food is amazing. It is a breath of fresh air for Italian food lovers. Not your traditional heavy red sauce Italian food. Staff is friendly and helpful. I prefer sitting on their patio as I like the outside atmosphere.

Absolutely wonderful dinner from appetizer to dessert. We shared a flatbread with spinach and tomatoes. Plenty for two. Wonderful! The coca cola braised short ribs were tender and extremely tasty. The rainbow trout with pancetta and Brussels sprouts to die for......speaking of which ...the amaretto cheese cake...so so delicious. Did I mention the home made bread? This was one of the best meals we have had for a very long time. Service efficient, attentive and friendly.

A different experience - my party of four were walking back to the house we rented, and happened by Pacci, we weren't looking to eat, but the drinks listed on the menu in the window caught my eye. Within moments we were walking by two gentlemen who appeared as though they might be employees. I went out on a limb, and asked one of them if they did work there. They were both very friendly and said yes they did. Those two happened to be Terrence and Brandon. I asked Terrance about a drink I saw, and he told me about it, but then went on to rave about another drink they make. I don't remember the name, but he went right into inquiring if we liked Gin, and then went on with a drink usually containing a different alchol, but he found to be much more enjoyable with the gin, along with honey and basil, and something else I think, but it escapes me now. He was so passionate on this drink he stood right up and offered to buy us a drink that moment if we'd take a minute and walk in with him. Well we did. Best decision. We actually ordered two of the those drinks, and two drinks that were made with cucumber vodka. They were delicious. We all preferred the honey basil drink, but we very much liked the cucumber drink. It was so refreshing and light, it would be a great brunch drink or one for a hot steamy day. Terrance introduced us to the bartender, again his name escapes me, but I did see a picture of him on your website in the "gallery". He was also very friendly. He explained everything he was putting in the drinks as he was doing it. The restaurant itself seemed very very nice, and the menu looked very inviting. I only wish we had time on our trip to return for a meal. And it wasn't from lack of trying on Terrance's part. During our drink, he went on to highlight a couple of their dishes and recommended we return and we wouldn't be sorry. Brandon, Terrance and the bartender, continued conversation with us during our drink, before we left with them "to go", and it was just very pleasant. When we were paying for the drinks, Brandon, who turned out to be a Manager, was going to comp a drink for us keeping up with Terrance's offer. We declined because it was just such a nice experience and we would have missed out on it entirely if it wasn't for Terrance. I would highly recommend a visit and a try if you haven't had the experience yet! Pacci, we will catch you next time for sure!

The best of the best - a must try while visiting Savannah. Excellent service, delicious drinks, food had exceptional flavor and was piping hot and available made to order. Perfect portions, clean and modern interiors. Close quarters but upbeat vibe. Outstanding!

We arrived for an early dinner at Pacci (5pm) to be able to attend a show which started at 7pm. Our server was very nice and attentive. My wife's salad came out promptly, however, didn't get our appetizer until thirty minutes after we arrived. At approximately 6:20, after over an hour of waiting, our entree came out. I ordered the Blueberry Ducked which was cooked perfectly to a medium rare, seasoned beautifully, but stone cold. You can imagine after an hour of waiting this was a huge disappointment but I had no time to send it back as we had to catch a show. Will NEVER return. Unacceptable practices at this price.

What a warm, classy place for a nibble. My husband and I had excellent service, which is very refreshing in this day and age. I loved the flatbread - huge bread nut - and my hubby liked his gnocchi. And I agree with the other reviewers - nice ladies room!

well the duck sealed it for my partner and I wasn't feeling adventurous so I went with pesto gnocchi but was pleasantly surprised at the depth of flavour - wasn't all sweet up front with nothing to back it up. I KNOW house made pasta... this is a perfect potato gnocchi, just such a treat after a miserable rain where I couldn't do my shopping. the place was mellow, probably because of the weather, the service was 5 star, food 5 star, and my partner left in the mood for love, the trifecta. I've done my research as well, seems that you do have a celebrity chef but after speaking to some local chefs who know him he's humble, willing to spare arugula when you get shorted, will offer pasta classes at little to no charge, and really didn't ask for the celebrity thing at all, but savannah dumped it on him. the story I got is he was the exec at a failing steak house run by a jailbait loving coke head so he jumped ship before the place could drag his name down and started his own spot, Leoci's, which is also delightful, but tonight belonged to Pacci. thank you. now I have to write a review about Lulus while I'm still tingling then I'll save my rant for Corleone's for tomorrow... oh it's coming! thanks again!

What started as a couple of drinks turned into a delight. Was pleased to find out the Pacci Manhattan was available for $5 during apertivo hour and the bartender, Ryan, prepared it to perfection. The eggplant caponata created a dance of flavors in my mouth that the lovely lauren told me she prepared; this happy hour is not known about yet but it should be. The quality of the food and cocktails will keep me coming back for more, thank you Pacci.

I'd rate this 4 or 5 stars. Was a very pleasant place to eat. Great service and food was very good. Our group included 5 people and everyone really enjoyed their food and all rated it highest of the three nice places we have eaten in savannah. Open Sundays too despite what Yelp may say.

Pacci is located inside the new Kimpton hotel in Savannah. This restaurant is a fabulous addition to the Savannah food scene - if you have not tried it yet you should!

Went with my family after hearing good things. The staff is very friendly and the decor is cute! I loved the tables and settings. Even though it's in the Kipton/Brice Hotel, it is far from a hotel restaurant! I'm always one to avoid hotel restaurants, but they did a great job making it feel separate from the hotel. There was confusion as to our waiter, and after a few minutes of waiting, the staff and owner(?) were very apologetic. They brought over complimentary wine and white bean hummus (delicious, and so cute in the mason jar!). The bread and olive oil were tasty. I got the half portion Gemelli with shrimp. Half portion size was perfect (not enough for a man though) and the shrimp were amazing. It was a little watery, probably from the vegetables, but didn't take away from the freshness of the pasta and vegetables. My mother-in-law had the hunter ravioli- the sauce and ravioli melted in your mouth - yum! My father-in-law had the coke short ribs and said they were some of the best he's had. My husband had the bucatini- the spiciness was perfect! The wine list was short and to the point (who needs a super long list?!). I'd definitely go back, and would love to sit in the courtyard and try their cocktails this summer!

I really loved the look and feel of this place. Beautifully decorated. V and I popped in for a light, late lunch. We got the Hog Farmer flatbread and it was fantastic! A perfect mix of cheese, meats, and a light touch of evoo all on top of a wonderful bread. So tasty. I feel odd giving this place five stars based on flatbread alone, but it was really that good. Side note -- I thought the women's room was one of the most beautiful restaurant bathrooms I've ever been in! Strange, I know. But whatever...it was cool! If I ever find myself back in Savannah, I'd love to eat here again.

My husband and I are staying at The Brice hotel for a few nights, so naturally we've spent a bit of time at Pacci. Our first afternoon here we ordered one of their lunch boxes to hold us over until our dinner reservations, and WOW. It was a delicious cheese and meat platter with pickled vegetables, hummus, bread drizzled with olive oil, and even a cannoli for dessert! We sat at the bar savoring every second of that lunch. Now a special shoutout to my favorite cocktail on the menu: people, the Fundos Fino is divine. Like, I bet this is what the gods sip on at Mount Olympus. I met the bartender who invented the Fundos Fino, and she was telling us how she went to a national competition for this drink. If you're in Savannah, you have to try it. Another shoutout to all the bartenders/staff at Pacci. You're cool, professional, and talented. You guys are the best of the best. The decadence of Pacci is part of what made our stay at The Brice so perfect. Hopefully we'll be back one day soon!

Great atmosphere, but small, overpriced portions, and a subpar staff. Not very busy for a Saturday night and a holiday. Server was soft spoken and not attentive enough to understand when I ordered my past dish without meat, that I didn't want meat but got it anyway. Fairly strict vegetarian and didn't want to piss the kitchen off so just ordered a salad after that. Friend ordered $27 ribs that looked a meager 5oz with a pitiful sized side of risotto. It was all delicious, but I'll go somewhere just as pricey more worth my time and money.

    (2)
  • Huston O.

The dinner was good but definitely overpriced. I might give the food four stars but the price and service brought it down to three. The appetizers were way better than the entrees. I would suggest to order a handful of them instead of main courses. I had the signature Coca-Cola short ribs; could've been a bit more tender and flavorful. I enjoyed the mushroom risotto more than the meat. The chef himself was very friendly and present but the rest of the servers fell short. Nothing terrible or inexcusable, but not on par with what you'd expect from this hotel and the price tag that comes it. I again dined here for brunch and had the meatball sub. It was good when hot and fresh, but as with lots of food and drinks, you can tell the quality as it settles. I would again give it 3 stars for that meal.

I have eaten twice here within 2 days that I stayed @ The Brice, breakfast and lunch, just because it's easier for the family. The waiter I got for breakfast was not good at all, wasn't sure if it's because I had a toddler with me. But, the food was delicious. My kid who doesn't usually eat much actually ate the entire French toast on kids menu herself. I had Bucatini Carbonara. It was a very creative breakfast dish. Parmesan and pancetta tossed with thinly shredded (length-wise) asparagus and carrots that looked like linguini, topped with pouches quail eggs. Extremely simply, healthy and yet tasty. The next day I came back for lunch. Luckily I got an extremely nice waiter. Ordered "build your own pasta" for my toddler(who loved being part of deciding her own food) and side of kids size veggies. Also ordered Cubano Italiano w/ house made chips, prosciutto and Melon, and Sicilian Tuna. I don't like Tuna, but that was one of the best tuna I have ever had. Sushi grade, crusted with flavor without over powered by any sauce. The spaghetti underneath was don't perfectly, just tossed in simple thickened chicken stock. The house made chips were so thin and delicious that I got extra ones to-go for drive home. However, I was most impressed by their kids size veggies. So tasty(& great presentation)!!!! If anyone goes thru the trouble to work on the kids menu, it tells me that they are detailed enough for the adult dishes. Also had house made vanilla ice-cream drizzled with olive oil and sea salt. I don't like ice-cream, but anyone who dares to put vanilla ice-cream by itself as an item on the dessert menu I had to try. It was not bad at all! Highly recommend this restaurant for any one who really loves to experience the subtle taste of fresh simple food.

Loved everything about it. The main reason is its not Americanized Italian. The had the charcuterie plate. Complimented well. The bucatini was a perfect al dente with San Marzano, onion, and pancetta sauce. Quite spicy but worth it. We also had the roasted tomato soup. Very rich for my taste but also good. The chef special was a cast iron seared swordfish with root vegetables and pancetta. We were too full for dessert. Decor is great and I'm happy to see more things coming to the east side of the historic district. Definitely a must for a nice dinner!!

It was not for me... The theme and decor of the restaurant is was awesome. We came to scout out the possibility of doing a wedding rehearsal dinner here. It had a wonderful vibe to it, but it was just not what i thought it was gonna be. We sat down and ordered drinks. I glanced at the menu and I became heart broken. There was very little on the menu that I would even consider trying. It was not my definition of italian. I knew it was a little different than normal italian, but i was not anticipating this. We ordered two apps. One was good (rice balls) and the other (deep fried roll things) were horrible. I have been to authentic italian restaurants, were they make there pasta in house and fresh sauce; but this seemed more Mediterranean food than italian. I saw a chicken gnocchi which I would have eaten on Yelp, but when I asked there server she made it seem like ordering anything custom would not be accepted. We paid our tab and went on our way to scout out another dinner spot.

Where do I begin? While visiting Savannah, one of the "must do" items was to visit Roberto Leoci's restaurant. Pacci did not disappoint! My brother and I arrived right as they opened for the day. We were greeted and told that we could sit anywhere we would like. As soon as we took our seats our lovely waitress, Evelyn, came over with ice old water and our menus. For starters, I ordered the Savannah Breeze and the Arancini. It was amazing! For our meals, I was torn between the Prosciutto and Melon and the Cacio di Pepe. Evelyn said both were excellent so I decided to try both! Why not! My brother had the Cubano Italiano. Our food arrived quickly and it was perfection!!!!! The melon, the prosciutto and the arugula was light and provided a perfect balance for the pasta. The pasta was hearty and very good. The Cubano was excellent and by far the best version I've ever tried. For desert we shared the Bombolini which was wonderful! In all, Pacci's was excellent and I would definitely recommend for anyone traveling to Savannah or friends who live there!

Short ribs, beet salad, and cucumber Collins - enough said! We cannot say enough good things about this place - the food was amazing, Tristan was great, and the drinks were delicious. Southern (Italian) hospitality at its best!

Came here for a large company dinner with a set 3 course dinner. The meal, the service & entire dining experience was incredible. I had the filet as my main entree and it was cooked to perfection - nice medium.

I'm not quite sure I know where to begin this review... I came here over the weekend for our stay in Savannah's historic district for a wedding. We had a party of about 40-45 people in a separate back room. The restaurant was tastefully decorated and had a nice ambiance of modern style and clean decor. Pacci's is supposedly well known for their "5 star Italian cuisine" and needless to say I was very excited to give it a try. The staff was very nice but completely disorganized. The party was divided among four large long tables and some tables got their food 30 minutes before others! Completely unacceptable. I've worked in the restaurant business and know that things happen whether it be in the kitchen, on the food line, miscommunication between servers and food runners, etc. But our dinner party was a complete disaster from late food, messing up with ringing out credit cards to servers that didn't even check on our meal after it was brought out or if we wanted more water or other drinks. On behalf of the food, it was mediocre. Calamari that was brought out for appetizers was still cold in the middle, you could tell some the food was sitting under the heat lamp on the food line the way some of the food was dried out, my $25 bistro filet was 6 oz or even less, the sauce for the pasta with their sea bass was cold and congealed... need I go on? The manager was spoken to and she apologized for the experience and assured it wouldn't happen again. I would be willing to give the restaurant another try if I was coming in for a smaller party, but my initial impression was far from what I hoped it would be.

Oh, Pacci, you did not disappoint. The decor was light and bright without being too much or robbing the intimacy of an evening meal. We were seated quickly by a very nice hostess. The waiter was charming and knowledgeable. The food was SO good!! We spent $120 with tip but it was worth every penny. Delicious, perfectly prepared, well seasoned, solid food. We had the locally sourced carpaccio (as good as I had in Venice!), a cheese and charcuterie plate (the Asher Blue is to die for), truffle fries, and spinach flatbread. We had 3 glasses of wine between us. We left extremely full with no room for the fantastic dessert options. I highly recommend Pacci for a date night!!

This turned out to be a very nice restaurant. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable. The only drawback was that it was very loud. I had the Bucatini all'Amatriciana and the flavor came very close to what you would have at a good restaurant in Italy. I sat a the bar and the service there was excellent.

First of all: GO HERE. We made reservations for Friday night and were not disappointed. We got there in time but since the place was so busy we sat at the bar while we waited for our table. I wish I could remember our bartenders name because he was so great. (He had long black dreads... Made our drinks awesome... Gave me extra sliced peaches.. Just want to make sure he gets recognized.) Once we got to the table they gave us a free appetizer for waiting like 11 extra minutes. The food was unreal. So many options for vegetarians, and they ask in advance if there are any dietary restrictions. All pasta is made in house and the difference is super obvious. I wish I would have seen the dessert menu before I ordered because I definitely would have saved room. The prices are reasonable and the food is worth it. We really enjoyed our evening and will be back often.

Pacci is anything but a hotel restaurant --either that or the nature of hotel restaurants is changing. We were staying at the Brice, and decided to give it a try. The decor is definitely a cross between kitcheney and shabby chic--probably a little hollow for me, but that's just me. It is very resonant and the noise level is loud. Our server, Tod, was great and endearingly tricked me into ordering a Sauvignon Blanc via the blind taste test--a gesture that I truly appreciated. The Hartwell Sauvignon Blanc, while pricey, is an awesome glass of wine. We ordered the truffle chips, which were good. My husband ordered a Caesar with anchovies, and the anchovies were right out of the water fresh. You got it, still hopping on the plate. He loves anchovies but thought that might be a little too fresh for him. I ordered the chicken roulade, which was on the light side, flavorful and delicious. My husband ordered the short ribs, which were cooked to fall off the bone and delicious. We'll join the rest of the reviewers in saying they're worth ordering. We hope to return next time in Savannah!

I'm a fan! Great Italian restaurant down by the water in Savannah. You can use Open Table to get a reservation (recommended), as this place is pretty busy. They have a full bar with custom cocktails, and a menu with homemade pastas, meats, and cheeses. This restaurant was packed, and they said the kitchen was running a bit slow. However that allowed me to try another custom cocktail and the fresh bread they bring out. A nice selection of wine, full bar, a somewhat small pasta menu but a good find if you are looking for pasta/Italian food.

Disappointing. The atmosphere, decor, and menu were are wonderful. The price, portion, and execution of food were disappointing. Upon reading the menu I couldn't wait to eat. There were so many delicious options and I wanted to try one of everything. However, after tasting the food, I will not be coming back. The beef carpaccio appetizer was minuscule (and way overpriced for the portion) but tasty. Unfortunately, they were out of the seafood cannelloni that we wanted to try. For our entrees we ordered the osso bucco and the blueberry duck. The osso bucco was severely lacking in flavor, depth, and was slightly dry. The duck was tasty but an extremely small portion. In fact, it was so small that I had to order a SECOND ENTREE after finishing the duck because I was completely unsatisfied. Keep in mind I'm a 105 pound female. For my second entree I ordered a homemade pasta. Instead of being light and tender, which homemade pasta usually is, it was dense, chewy, and tough. Not much flavor either. Very disappointing. Dessert slightly redeemed the meal with a delicious lemon sorbet with "spicy" peach jam (it was not even remotely spicy) and a light macaron type cookie. The reason I am not giving a two star review is due to the lovely atmosphere and great company I had that evening. But the food was very disappointing and left me going home unsatisfied. Will not be returning.

I really want to stress this in my review the service sucked! I really don't like writing bad reviews but on this I have to. It was not busy at all but we still waited over 45 minutes but then we left and never even got our food. I would not recommend this restaurant. Hotel restaurants are normally a hit or miss and this was definitely a miss. Okay so because my first experience (above) was so bad the hotel gave me $50 credit so I decided I guess I'll give another try it'll be pretty much free. But the second experience didn't start well because first I got the impression our server hated us and then my coffee was cold! How do you get cold coffee!? Then when I told my server about I'm pretty sure they just went and microwaved it. Then we finally got our food after about 10-15 minutes even though there were 4 other people in the restaurant. I got the bagel and it was just terrible the bagel was cold and the salmon was disgusting I think the reason it took so long was because they searched the entire state for the worst salmon. Again I would not recommend this restaurant.

Pretty good restaurant - the service gets slow when they get busy but everyone is cordial and knows the menu well. The food is fresh and healthy but tasty and the pasta is made in-house. The wine list is nothing extravagant but it's varies enough that you'll find what you are looking for. Try breakfast here - lots of healthy options and great coffee!

We had such a great meal last night we went back tonight! Good choice! We got a flat bread like last night great in the room about 10 AM. I had a ricotta with cream sauce and Italian bacon and my wife had short ribs, both were extremely tasty. Service was excellent and our local waiter was really helpful as to how to spend our last day here. Great hotel - dinner combination.

Wellllll the atmosphere was beautiful. Waitress was super sweet and fast! The staff was just so fast friendly and enjoyable. But the food. Welllllll. I guess we paid for the atmosphere bc there sure wasn't enough on the plate! I take that back. Some portions were big and some not so much. A bowl of pasta should be huge. Italians like pasta. And well the $15 portion was about less than a cup of cooked pasta. Uh not enough. It's Italian food expected a big giant bowl Looking around at other tables their lunch combos should have been the way to go. Apparently they must get a deal on meat bc the meatball sandwiches looked big on the other peoples table. And the hamburger was giant. But wanted pasta. Tasted good but if a Italian restaurant is watching my carbs Id like a disclaimer somewhere. Disappointed. Disappointed disappointed. Oh and $3 for sweet tea? Ahhh well the restaurant is very hip and pretty. I guess I paid for it.

Food is very good, kinda "contemporary" Italian. ALL homemade, to include pasta, fresh veggies, breads, & desserts. Cocktails are creative & tasty. Service is above parr as well and they take pride in their knowledge of the menu. Open airy feel too .

Pacci has a beautiful space in the newly opened Brice hotel. We were really excited about our meal at Pacci because of the fantastic Yelp reviews. However, the food was, overall, OK. The service was amazing though, and that counts too. We started with the warm olives and the arancini. The warm olives were not very good. It seems like they are overly dressed. The olives come with walnuts, which I love, but they were soggy and lost all flavor during the warming process. The arancini had good flavor but they were lukewarm. In fact, some of our dishes were not fully warm. The flatbread we ordered had lukewarm sauce on top. Again, good flavor but not executed properly. At the end of the meal we ordered the pot de creme which tasted like it had been in the fridge for a while. Nothing out of the ordinary. Now for the good stuff: our waiter (whose name I did not get) was fantastic. He gave us a sip of his favorite wine, kept the water coming, and was quick and pleasant. The manager (I presume) is also very attentive. In terms of food, the gnocchi, steeped in sage and fennel, was the standout dish. In fact, I would order another portion and have it sent to my room if it were on the room service menu. Overall, a lovely place but with so much competition in the immediate area, this restaurant needs to execute every dish to keep customers coming back.

Pacci does a wonderful job at lunch. We allowed the bartender to hand-craft our drinks and were not disappointed. And our entrees were tasty, too. The atmosphere is light, fun and hip.

My boyfriend and I really, really liked Pacci. We had dinner here one night and loved the atmosphere and decor; it's truly beautiful inside and feels so inviting. We decided to eat at the bar, which is pretty large. We opted out of ordering wine/cocktails and decided to instead focus on the food. We split the apple and Gorgonzola salad to start, which also had spinach and pancetta. It was fantastic! Even my guy, who is normally averse to eating anything green, gobbled it up in record time. I had the garden flatbread as my entrée and my boyfriend had the gnocchi. Both were excellent but he won hands down; the homemade gnocchi and brussel sprouts were fantastic! I thought the flatbread was good but it wasn't quite up to that level. The bread that accompanied the meal along with the olive oil is also very good. I'm sure we'll be back to try a cocktail which would probably have sent this meal over the top. Definitely check it out!

Wonderful Sunday brunch! From the moment that we entered the door, all we saw were smiling faces on every single employee. As locals, this was still our first visit to this relatively new restaurant, and our server, Greg's, knowledge about everything that we asked about on the menu, was very much appreciated, as was his impeccable service. My entree was the crepes Florentine, which was absolutely marvelous. My husband's grass fed cheeseburger, topped with blue cheese and a fried egg was worth every scrumptious calorie. Great atmosphere, food, and service. My only critique, though very minor, would be to add some type of bread, rolls, or perhaps small biscuits to go with the lovely looking jam and butter that was on the table.... Not a big deal, We will certainly return.

This is a brand spanking new joint in Savannah. They redid a very outdated hotel and I cannot believe how they transformed it. Unbelievably chic and completely different. The indoors is sleek and minimalist with pops of color. If you go further back you will find an outstanding outdoor patio that really seems like you are on the Southern coast of France. The only downside is that some of the patio is limited as far as service. you have to specifically make sure you are in a 'tended to' area. Our bartender made us an amazing cucumber Tom Collins that was to die for.. We also opted for the Vidalia Onion flatbread. It's Georgia, we love our Vidalias and for good reason. Get the flatbread. Great place to dress up and grab some cocktails and appetizers.

Decent food, but nothing special. The menu boasts great things, but the delivery is underwhelming. Poor ingredients. Quite possibly the consistently worst overall service I have experienced in such a restaurant. Truly unbelievably lousy service. We dined here four times before writing this review. The manager is a nice guy.

We had a lovely meal the other night at Pacci. Everything was cooked and served to perfection. Some highlights: The gnocchi, which were larger and firmer than served at most Italian restaurants, were presented beautifully and the light cream sauce was just perfect. We loved the beet salad, which had a delicious citrus dressing. The seafood catch of the day, red snapper, was served over angel hair pasta. The sauce on the angel hair pasta was delectable. We enjoyed Pacci so much, but we were too full to have dessert. Because of the reviews on Yelp, we went back last night to try the tiramisu after having dinner elsewhere. Wow! Save room; the tiramisu is too good to miss!

Cocktails, cocktails, cocktails! The bartenders are secret magicians & I suggest you ask them to make you their favorite drink. The tuna appetizer is wonderful and you should order the gnocchi for dinner. This is not your grandfather's hotel breakfast. Pacci also has creative and tasty breakfast options.

Sad. I've tried Pacci several times now and it never ceases to disappoint. Slow table service & flat-flavoured, overcooked fish to uninspired beef and pricey drinks - I can't bring myself to like this place.

We showed up at 9pm on a Wednesday night and got seated right away. They were by no means full however,it took 25 mins for anyone to acknowledge us and that was only because I asked the hostess for service. The waiter was nice enough but the service just continued to lack. Food was good, had the Mediterranean bass. Be aware the restaurant is very loud. Ambiance is inviting. I will give them another try because I always give second chances and will post an update.

Arriving frozen from walking around outside in chilly Savannah dressed in not-warm-enough clothes, I stopped at Pacci's packed bar looking pretty pathetic and needing a warm adult beverage. I could barely communicate through my chattering teeth but the bartender (Ryan or Brian, I think?) suggested an off-the-menu warm apple cider. I stammered..."with bourbon please!" and sat/collapsed on one of the smaller arm chairs near the entrance (since there was no available stools at the bar). In the time while I waited for the drink, I observed happy and courteous staff members greeting customers, giving directions for additional wait seating or the restroom mostly, serving a packed dining room and bar of patrons, and generally creating a mentally warm atmosphere even though it was cold in temperature outside. Ryan/Brian arrived with a small stemmed glass of apple cider & bourbon with a cinnamon stick. I know environment and circumstances usually influence my opinion and experience with hot beverages, but I swear it was the best drink I could have ever tasted (and trust me when I say I've imbibed in a lot of warm alcoholic drinks). I think I sat there holding the glass until I could feel my fingers again, and sipped slowly to savor it. I know staffers must have thought I was pretty strange to have been clutching the small glass while sitting some distance from the bar, but I didn't care since I was warm again! After my internal core temperature was sufficiently defrosted, I went about on my merry way. Strange review, I know...will be back next time to get some real food, I promise! Thanks for the life saving beverage!

The soda and bourbon drink spec was great. The staff was friendly. The food was a great attempt at Italian cuisine. The bucatini was great. The creste de gallo was good too, could have used more fresh mottza taste. I went with my family. We couldn't complain, and we have a restaurant. Enjoy this new addition to savanna.

I guess I'm confused by the negative reviews here. The hog farmer flatbread is a must have, the bucatini pasta was pure comfort, and the short rib was nothing short of outstanding. We are from Atlanta and frequent high-end Italian restaurants back home and Pacci easily ranks up with them. A huge shout out to Keegan for keeping the energy, providing great recommendations, and really making us feel welcomed on our visit. I worked 10 years in the restaurant industry and know great service when I get it, and he exceeded on all levels. Other waiters also looked like they were providing great service as well. Even the host staff was was always saying hello when walking by. We are having our rehearsal dinner here later this year and happy we made the right choice. Overall Pacci is a great place to be and eat.

The space itself is great. Really like the white paint, the design of the tables and benches along the wall, and the lighting. Went at 6:45 on Christmas Eve. Service was very slow. In fact the table of two next to us was seated then sat for what seemed like 10-15 mins without being acknowledged by a server and got up and left. Our server did apologize for the poor service and attributed it to most parties being seated in a short amount of time. I can handle some slow service on a holiday. But then the food arrived. Best evaluation is average. Neither the soup nor fish I had were in any way memorable. Not bad, but not especially flavorful or interesting. Maybe service would be better on another visit, but the food wouldn't bring me back. Loved the room though, and the hotel lobby is nice too.

Can not have enough good things to say about the food and service. We were in town for daughter's wedding and had both the room service and dine in at the restaurant. Food was excellent each time as well as the bar service. Additionally we had then do the food/beverages for the reception all of which was fantastic. Service was great too with a friendly staff all going the extra mile.

Excellent service and food to match. First the atmosphere is chic/modern and that of a kitchen as billed, but very nice. Dining here for my spouse's birthday, I had the Filet Piccoli with pan fried Gnocchi with a side of pasta. My wife had the Seafood Mediterreani with Trigger Fish, the day's catch. Both were excellent. Our server was most helpful with the wine selection and we ended up with his recommended red. A casual but no less fine dining experience and one that will be enjoyed again.

One of the best meals we've had anywhere in a long time. We're foodies from the Atlanta area and always seek out special meals when traveling. Couldn't believe we simply walked out of the hotel lobby to find this gem. Ask for Todd. Awesome recommendations and service. Try the gnocchi and of course the snapper. We finished off with the raspberry jam doughnuts. Just enough sweet but not too much. Nice choice of cognac available too.

We went here for our anniversary, and were greeted with a card congratulating us, which was a nice touch. I like the look of the place. The tables are a little wider than normal (putting us further apart), and there is noise like others have stated, but we were able to have a conversation without a problem. As for food, everything we had was good. We had the Tuscan bean hummus in a jar, which we enjoyed. My wife had the short ribs, and I had the Seafood Mediterraneo, which was sea bass that night. The food was all a solid 4 stars, meaning we really liked it, but I wouldn't say it blew our minds. I would recommend it for a good meal, and would put it on the list of places to go again. I'd like to try one of the pastas, since we like the pasta at Leoci's. For dessert, they brought us a slice of cheesecake as a second congratulations, which was readily devoured.

This hotel was one of my all time favorites. Southern charm meets luxury with this renovated Inn. The moment we walked in the door we knew this was a very different type of experience. The valets are the first people that greet us with their smiles and warm nature made us feel very special. The check in process was more of the same. We were not a number at this hotel and every detail was taken care of. Pros: Excellent service and hospitality Fresh modern refreshing style Immaculate High quality mattresses Complimentary wine, coffee, & tea offered certain times of the day The front doors were opened by the outdoor staff and welcomed us with smiles and warm comments daily. The staff sent a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate dessert to our room to celebrate our Anniversary with a very cordial note. Cons: Small bathrooms I saw other reviews on costly parking costs.. Keep in mind the parking is free on the weekends so if your lucky like we were you can find a parking spot next to the hotel.

I've never felt the need to write a review about breakfast potatoes but these could be the best that I've ever had. Covered in a light olive oil and Rosemary. Excellent southern hospitality as well!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
