Okay....I come here because it is walking distance from the Holiday Inn. Today I ordered what I consider my standard on the road dinner. Mozzarella cheese sticks, Logan sirlion steak with salad, mashed potatoes and ranch on the side. (With a fair amount of house Bourbon and diet coke). First off..... they brought me the salad before they brought out the appetizer. :( The marinara sauce with the cheese sticks was disheartening. If I dip the cheese stick in the sauce, I expect (as most people do) to see some of the sauce on my cheese stick. Unfortunately all that was on the stick after dunking was a stain of red water on the stick. The sauce was not thick enough to transfer and a concerted effort was required to swirl and scoop the stick in the sauce to make it represent. Normally do not critique salad because it is a fundamental element to a meal, but there was way to many croutons to make this a forkable salad. Half the greens were crisp but the ones on the bottom were soggy and we're hard to penetrate with a fork. Asked for the ranch on the side (which they did), but was tilted at angle and spilled over and saturated a portion of the salad. :( On to the main course.....sirlion. Ordered med-well. Slightly over cooked. Not that that was a huge issue, but the fact that the steak was only 1/2 thick, made it extremely dry and tough in spots. Did not finish. When ordering steak here (especially sirlion if you like it med-well, order it medium) because the steaks are so thin, that there is a much smaller time window that the chef (cook) has to hit your temperature window. Additionally the steak was not hot when served. It was closer to room temperature. The mashed potatoes rocked and was the best part of the meal. (The free bread was outstanding as well). The bartender here is always outstanding. Jamie runs a great bar and is the bright star for this location. I will come back to this location solely because he is here. On a significantly down note, there are three tables in the outside eating area that have not been cleared for several hours. Have witnessed birds eating from the tables. Even after pointing this out to restaurant personnel over an hour ago, the three tables still sit uncleared. What does this say to customers who sit outside and see this lack of attention, especially if they sit there for an entire meal and see that the other tables are not cleared?

Went in for a drink. They had decent drink specials but we're out of them. Asked if I could get something else for the same price and the bartender went to ask the manager and never came back. I left and won't be back.

I am inlove with their baby back ribs. The juicy tender soft meat, oohh and the smell of it is like heaven. I had a great lunch that day because of Logan's. and its the best day in the days when I was in the area. But unfortunately, this place has flaws. Service is okay at first, but when this particular lucky person is the one who takes your orders. You will be pissed and will surely go out and find other place. I dont wanna mention any names, I just want Logan's to know that they must address this immediately.

My sirloin was ok, but husband got t-bone that looked like it had been run over. Grisly, broken t in the bone he just ate his baked potato. We won't go back. Other Choices out there.

Not all that, i was expecting better, the service was not great either, all in all just cut the mustard. Our bill was wrong and we had to wait like 20 minutes to get it corrected I had to go to the Kitchen to get someone to get my check straight so we could pay and leave.

After sitting at the bar with my boyfriend the manager asks us what we wanted to drink. Since it was happy hour I ordered a Sam Adams draft. She said that tap wasn't working properly. So I tried a Coors Light. This squirted out all foam and was obviously told it wasn't working either. Annoyed I guess Id pay full price for a Heineken bottle. While I understand this happens from time to time, the manager thought it was funny and was unapologetic. We both finished our beers before we were even greeted by the bartender taking over for the manager. Keep in mind there were only about 5 other people at the whole bar. This male bartender was a flustered mess. We waited for at least 20 minutes to have our order taken and feeling the food was going to come out crappy I ordered chicken fingers. My boyfriend ordered a steak medium rare with a salad with French dressing.. and asked for it to come out first. He did not get our second beers out until re reminded him 5 minutes later. Another 25 minutes later the salad comes out with ranch dressing not French. Before he could take a bite of his salad our meals come out. My chicken fingers were bland and over fried leaving them dry. My boyfriend's steak was medium, not medium rare. Not wanting to wait any longer for another to be cooked we just ate it. We were never checked up on until our meal was completely done. The bartender was laughing with his employees and putting in food orders for them as they had just gotten off shift instead of caring about us. The guy next to us had a very overcooked steak and waited near 25 minutes for a new one to come out. I overheard this awful bartender saying he worked there for 4 years. Wouldn't you think he'd be a little better? The female manager who attended to us first saw him in the weeds and never helped out. Horrible experience! Wont go back for the food or the service! Get it together Logan's.

Ashley was our server, and wasn't as attentive as we would of liked. No bread was initially delivered by her, so we had to track down another waitress. Food was Good, properly cooked as ordered. When it came to pay the tab, we needed change back, but Ashley took it upon herself to only give us the bills back, and keep the loose change. Only ¢.56, but principle is to give it all back.

Logan's is nothing special. I've been a few times since Jan 2012 (today is May 27th 2012) and each and every time the food and wait staff were both nothing special. There has been nothing that I have tried from Logan's menu that makes me wanna tell others "you should really go to Logan's and try their (blank)." This place seems like its run by young college students who have no desire to pursue a career in the culinary/ hospitality industry and it shows. Pretty much the staff is there only for their paychecks and not for customer's satisfaction of enjoying a good meal. If you are in the mood for a good steak, you will get a better one at any Longhorn's Steak House for the same price as Logan's. If there is nothing left open or if everything else in the area has an hour waiting list to dine then I would say go to Logan's for a meal. As for me, I would choose to drive further down the road rather than stop at Logan's Roadhouse again.

Food was very average but the real problem was they mis-charged our total party of 14. After more than an hour and being told by a "manager" that they were working the issue. Finally, we found out where they were trying to figure out how to get our bill(s) correct, we finally went to the kitchen pay station and told one of the managers of what each of us had to eat. They entered the information, printed the ticket and we paid by credit card. I checked my cc bill the next day and they had charged me three times. I have contacted the other friends and told them to check their credit cards. I would NEVER go back to this food establishment. They couldn't figure out how to solve their billing error...They lack manager oversight....nobody appeared to be charge!!!!

This is a chain, so we all know about the food. Bar service here is wonderful. As is the dining room service. Last time I ate here with a big group of friends that can all be sort of a pain in the a##. It was a super busy night and it was murder to even park. The wait staff did a phenomenal job. They kept all 20 people happy. Everyone had something to drink at all times. Enough food on the table, rolls etc. Everyone got just what they ordered cooked to perfection. Even my steak was done right. The waitress even would ask to be sure that your idea of rare and the cooks are the same. She checked back with every single person on how the food was cooked. We had a wide range in age of diners and even the children got attention. Some of us even stayed longer and made a transition to the bar and everything ran smoothly, the new server communicated with the old and again our beverages did not go empty. We were never forgotten and didn't have to hunt anyone down. I was so impressed with the service I just had to Yelp about it. Great job Augusta Logan's. Four stars for good service.

Went to Logans today for lunch. We were seated quickly and the waitstaff was nice. We ordered drinks and appetizers. The waitress brought out water and drinks in half to go cups and glasses (they ran out of glasses). We had to ask for our rolls and they came before the utensils and napkins. The appetizer came out half an hour later with burnt potato wedges. Our waitress was apologizing for the long wait and saying the kitchen was backed up with orders. So we asked for our salads. Everyone was done with salads and still waiting for our food thirty minutes later. I needed to get to work. I asked for the waitress to bring the check and here comes the manager saying she is going to check. As I get up here comes a parade of plates two managers and servers. Another manager asked is there a problem. We explain for the second time. In the end the burnt appetizers was taken off and $25 off the bill the girls hurried to eat.

This place is super inefficient. Went a few nights ago and there were tons of open tables with a 30 minute wait. We waited for a bit but ended up leaving after figuring out it wasn't the best use of our time . Staff seemed nice but the restaurant needs to step up their game a lot . Bathrooms would make anyone lose their appetite

Went here because it was within walking distance to the hotel. Food was ok. Nothing to write home about. This review would have more stars if service had no sucked so bad. It took almost 1:30 hours from start to finish. Our server would come and take one dirty plate, maybe fill up two drinks, our food took 40 minutes to come and again, the server was not really around, but oh boy, she sure was quick when we were ready to pay. I would not go back here because of the service. There seemed to be a lot of wait staff just standing around not doing much.

The southern hospitality is something else. The wait staff is actually interested in establishing report with the customer. The politeness is un-paralleled, a lost art amongst most. Logan's has great food and they let you litter. First lets talk about the food. They bring to your table mouthwatering, fresh hot yeast rolls and butter. They even offered to bring us more free hot rolls. I ordered the cheese burger. It was cooked to medium rare perfection. On the advice of our waitress I ordered the sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries tasted like they were lightly sprinkled with sugar. I usually don't go wild over sweet potato fries, but these were devilishly delicious. I say devilishly delicious because they are deep fried and they taste like they are sprinkled with sugar. Now, the litter issue. You can just throw your peanut shells right on the floor. Something about throwing trash on the floor just feels wrong (lol). It's funny seeing all the empty peanut shells all over the floor. It's one of the few eating establishments that lets you make a mess.
