Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.
McDonalds is the most popular fast food burger restaurant serving different types of burgers in the United States. On the other hand, there are several restaurants such as Burger King are famous for serving the best hamburgers in the United States. Stopped in for lunch. Between the four of us we had the buffalo chicken dip which was wonderful. I had the BLT sliders which were great The others had hamburgers which were definitely well above average Everything was cooked to order and portions were plenty. Staff was friendly as well as management. Although we are only here till Friday we may make the effort to return as the menu had a nice selection. Definitely recommend!!!

It's a burger place which offers elk, bison, turkey and beef burgers in 1/3 and 1/2 pound options with your choice of dressings from cheddar to fried egg to mushrooms and a wide array of sauces. Wood grilled to well, medium and rare. Good beer selections makes this a solid if not common choice.

Stopped in for some lunch on our way out of Savannah and this place is pet friendly on the patio which was needed since we had our dog with us on this trip. And, who doesn't love a good burger? Once seated, we ordered our beverages and they even brought a nice big bowl of water for our dog. Service was attentive but it was not very crowded. After spending several years in Texas, I love a good "big" burger, not some small, overpriced burgers like Five Guys and similar places. They have their spots and are decent burgers, but overpriced overall. I did not feel that way at B&D. The burgers were very big and they come with a side. I ordered the Angus "Wormsloe" burger with fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese. Two items I had never had before, let alone on a burger. I ordered the Curly fries to go along with it. This was cooked my desired temp and the burger was awesome. My mouth is watering just typing this review up. Wife ordered a BYOB "Build Your Own Burger" with just basic toppings and was more than she could eat. My daughter ordered one of their Hot Dogs. I would normally be against ordering a $8 hot dog and still do feel that is too much for what a hot dog is, but I will admit this was one damn good hot dog and big too. She got cheese and bacon on it and I was glad that she enjoyed it...she is a picky eater. Would definitely give this place another shot or another of their locations if I am near one. I recommend giving them a try if you are in the mood for a good burger. Much better than the local Five Guys.

Food was great. I had a 1/2 pound burger with pineapple and bacon and sweet potatoes fries. Coooed perfect. ervice was slow at at lunch time but it was ok.
(5)Joanna F.
We came here on a food tour and decided to come back the following day since the outdoor seating was really nice and I saw pimento cheese as a burger topping (which I had fallen in love with on this trip to the South). We immediately got an outdoor seat and our server was cheerful albeit REALLY ditzy. I'm not trying to be mean, but she was distractingly ditzy. Anyway, our food came out quickly and it was good. I got a turkey burger with pimento cheese, veggies and sauerkraut. It wasn't mind blowing by any stretch of the imagination, but it was good enough that I would probably come back if in the mood for a burger.
(4)Lazar H.
Not impressed. For the price the burger patty should be much larger, thicker, flavorful. I ordered a bison patty medium and I would say it was cooked well. But that was really not the issue. The patty just had no life. No juice, no texture, no bison flavor. It was no better than a patty you purchase at a chain grocery store. Definitely not gourmet. I get a much much better bison burger at Ted Montana's.

Nice terrace to eat outside. Nice decor and atmosphere. Welcoming staff and attentive, flexible. Tasty food, qualitative ingredients: very good meat. Not expansive, good value for money. I recommend this place

While in Savannah for vacation, we decided to try this place out for lunch. It was a Monday, and we were pleasantly surprised to find out we were there during happy hour - draft beers were only $3! The beer selection was quite good. I got the Wormsloe burger, which was a lesson in Southern food - a burger topped in pimento cheese and fried green tomatoes - YUM! Our server was super friendly, knowledgeable, and provided quick service. Just be warned - there are several locations in Savannah. We went to meet friends and didn't realize this and ended up at the wrong place! Lucky for us, Savannah has that wonderful open container law, so we took our beers to go and walked a few blocks to the correct one :)

Been to a couple different B&D's and the food can go from tasty to scary. Had some burgers in the past that were really good; had the chicken sandwich once that was way over salted (and I love salt). The ambiance is cool and relaxed. Fried green tomatoes with the pimento cheese is pretty good.
(3)Chris W.
Party of 4, and between us we had a turkey, angus, and bison burger. Favorite burger was the colonial burger with egg and bacon. Beer selection was decent, and service was fast. While not as good as some of the places back home (Stock & Barrel or Lintons in Knoxville), it was easily a 4 out of 5 stars.
(4)Andrew H.
A good burger place, decent selection of toppings and options. Food was good and well prepared. They lose points for service. Waitress was nowhere to be found for most of the meal, making it difficult to get refills and the check. The atmosphere was nice outside, but the live music was WAY TO LOUD. Couldn't even talk across the table.
(3)Katie G.
I had a weekday lunch here on a business trip last month. The service is prompt and friendly and I really enjoyed the fried pickle chips appetizer. The restaurant is in a prime location in downtown Savannah and is clean and well appointed. Overall the food is mediocre - akin to an Applebees or a Chiles. I won't rush back but it might be a good option if you are in town with a large group or kids - big tables, decent prices, decent kids menu.
(3)Laura M.
I've had better burgers at Five Guys. We ordered a bison burger and it tasted like a frozen patty. The bottom bun was rock hard from sitting on the grill too long. Not impressed with this place at all. Do not recommend going here.

My wife and I visited this place on our first trip to Savannah a few years ago and enjoyed the burger. We went a few weeks ago on a Wednesday afternoon around 1:00. We were promptly seated upstairs. We sat for about 15 minutes, while groups around us were seated, brought drinks and waited on. Nobody touched our table. Not a hello, not a drink, not anything. We watched as three tables of at least 6 people were seated after us, and waited on. My wife and I left and got burgers at the wings place next door. We thought about saying something to the manager as we made our way back downstairs, but the manager, the bartender, and a server were all talking amongst themselves. At least they were polite enough to wish us a nice afternoon as we left.
(1)Rebecca K.
I've been here two more times now - the second time, I had great service and the burger was okay. Curly fries were awesome. The third time, we were just there to get some drinks and watch a soccer game. The waitress threw away my Wet Willie's souvenir cup while I was in the bathroom. Then I left a $4 tip on a $20 bill...I check my bank statement a week later and they charged me $28. It's not a big deal but it's the principle - I may sound petty but I like me some good service. This place is good for hanging out and if you have a large group, but the last visit just left a sour taste in my mouth and I won't be returning.
(2)Scott B.
Discovered B&D when locals told me it would be a great place to watch the US Women's World Cup Semi Finals. And they were right, great crowd, nice patrons at bar, great beer choices, and being cheeseburger snob I wasn't disappointed with the Bison Burger & onion rings... DELICIOUS! Cathy & Erin were behind the bar and were very attentive despite the busy crowd. I will be back next business trip!
(5)John P.
The only reason this place gets a 4* was because the atmosphere was great. The food was decent. But the service was terrible! We were there for at least two hours before we got our food and then one of the people we were with didn't even get theirs when ours came out. When it did come out, it was wrong! Honestly there was nothing special except it would be a great place to watch a sporting event in the outside seating.
(4)Roger D.
B & D was really good. I had The Tattnall, which has teriyaki sauce, pineapple and huge onion rings. I loved the environment. There's a huge alligator statue hanging in the dining area which was neat. The servers were nice and recommended taking beers to go, which being from Cleveland I didn't know you could drink in that area on the street. Cool spot
(4)Jaylin W.
Food here is good! I like that they have a "build your burger" option. Although I had ground beef as my burger patty, I like to see the option of bison and elk on the menu. Service was good as well. If I was to go back, I'd have the bison burger!
(4)Lindsey E.
Went here with my family while staying in Savannah on our way to Disney. Atmosphere was fun and relaxed. Loved the alligator theme! Burgers were delicious with tons of toppings to chose from. Our server was polite but she took forever to get our check to us after we had finished our meal. Other than that it was a great experience. It was a little cool so we sat inside but they have an amazing outdoor area with big screens, couches, and tables to enjoy food at. If I were in Savannah again I'd definitely stop by here.
(4)Lisa P.
Hard bits in my beef burger made me gag! Waitress was pretty terrible. Corn nuggets & fried were good. Don't waste your time on this place.
(2)Joe M.
Holy crap goat cheese on a burger, and that makes heaven. This was a nice lunch find when cruising the streets. I added an egg to top off my burger as well. So good that it doesn't need any condiments. Will definatly come back n check it out.
(5)theresa B.
Perfect for groups and big parties. The outside seating is round table style with couch lounges and heat lamps. Our waitress was sweet and attentive even though she got our burger order wrong. We ended up with some burger with feta and mushrooms . It was good and came with curly fries. The appetizer was the Buffalo chicken dip and that was awesome! Worth a visit !
(4)Wesley L.
Really digging this place. This one has a better vibe compared to the one on the Southside. Probably because it's not on the ss.
(5)ChrisAnne S.
A friend of mine from Chicago and I went to Savannah for a weekend and this is one of the places we went to. The burgers were good, but I wasn't overly impressed. To be honest, there is nothing as good as an old fashioned grilled bar burger. We had the fried green tomatoes and they were pretty good. When I go back to Savannah, I will go back and give it another chance. :)
(2)Denise O.
Burgers were disappointing.I had the bison that was almost raw. My fiancé had the Lucas. He said the quality was just "okay". I was appalled at the service. There were waitress sitting down at the counter. It took us 10 minutes to be recognized after me going to retrieve menus. I then had to get our silverware. For having so much wait staff and 9 empty tables on the patio this place is not worth it. I will stick to Crystal Beer Parlor.
(1)Stormy R.
Save your time and go elsewhere. My husband and I aren't a big fan of B&Ds to begin with, but we had friends moving out of town and they wanted B&D. We were all downtown on a pub crawl and they suggested the one on Abercorn, and I told them we should try this location instead. We were told the wait was 30 mins... fine we'll wait. We sit down 30 mins in, the wait was another 15 before our food was ordered. Another 45 before it was delivered then one of the plates was cold. Another 15 before that one came out. We talked to the manager and he comped some of the food. Then when we went to pay it was another 20 mins between the waitress taking our card and bringing it back to the table. And the food wasn't that good. I understand busy times but if you can't get people in and out of a restaurant in under 2 hrs then you either need to have more waitstaff and cooks or a smaller restaurant. A really, really disappointing and frustrating end to our fun afternoon.
(1)Jeff G.
Burger joint with many options on a bun besides hamburger. Bison, elk, and gator to mention a few. Gator sliders are the bomb with their spicy sauce. They have a wide choice of drafts to select from with a happy hour from 3-7pm Monday-Friday of 1/2 off drinks.
(5)Samantha P.
Pretty run of the mill hamburger joint. They serve all the usual American food and I couldn't see what the fuss was about, especially when the service was terrible. When my friend and I arrived, there was nobody standing around to greet us or seat us, which is irritating to me especially when I was a first timer. When it came to trying to get refills or our check, I felt like I had to break my neck to try and find my waitress. It seemed like she was more focused on getting tips from the men she was serving.
(3)Elizabeth B.
For a burger joint this was is very solid. Lots of options and toppings available. We had the corn nuggets which were tasty. Their fries were fresh cute and good. Burgers are hand patted and fresh. If you are looking for a monster thick burger with topi ha coming out the sides then skip this place. If you want a flavorful burger with sides that provide the right amount of flavor to compliment the burger. We had good service, they were around when we needed them.
(4)Belinda C.
Food and service were good. Lots of menu choices. We shared a third pound Angus burger with fried green tomato, habanero jack cheese, and bacon. It was cooked as ordered and tasted great. Loved the seasoned curly fries!
(5)Jennifer M.
Seated and served fast. I ordered the loaded BLT. It has the normal stuff but they add fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese. The tomatoes were bitter and the pimento cheese was bland. Maybe their burgers are good but wasn't in the mood for one. I would give this place another try but would skip the BLT.
(3)Sofie S.
I love the pimento cheese here! It comes with a lot of their food. Great place for family or for football. The reason why I took off a star is because ITS SO LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!
(4)Carolyn B.
This place had a great beer selection and great seating outdoors. They kept it warm enough to hang out there in Dec! The food was OK, Nothing to write home about. We both had angus burgers. We had better burgers at another restaurant later in the trip. It was also annoying that they were going to charge us 3$ to have a side salad instead of fries. The did honor a savannahmenuvip.com coupon which was nice!
(5)Jose T.
Burguers here suck real bad. They never season anything and don't know their temps. Pay almost 20 for a bison burger that is super small.
(1)Mandy M.
I usually enjoy this restaurant. It's outdoor atmosphere and beer menu compete with any pub food/bar menu in Savannah. However, the manager is unwilling to do what is best for the populace of the entire restaurant instead of satisfying a single party. If you enjoy a restaurant who promotes the equal treatment of all patrons, b&ds is not the business for you.
(3)Jeffrey D.
We stopped in for lunch and it was busy, both locations were to be honest. As it turns out a few blocks away is another one. It didn't take long for me to realize my party was going on without me. The burgers were nice and the staff was friendly. The menu had a lot going on with apps and burgers of course. Overall, good burgers at a decent price.
(3)Laura V.
The Bison wormsloe burger was SO delicious!! Gator bites were great too! Friendly staff and great atmosphere.
(5)Paul T.
Very generic burgers. Everything tastes like it was previously frozen or run of the mill store brand. Service was very slow and the burger was well done not medium like I ordered. Disappointed for the price I paid or any price really. Server took forever to get our check and didn't even ask about our food despite the fact that we only ate half of the burger.
(1)Kathryn E.
Good location, good food (lots of it). Try the curly fries. Like the multiple options for burger-dome. A bit expensive for a regular ole' burger joint (i.e. $10-13 for a burger) but this is what you'd expect from a tourist town. A good low-key option for lunch!
(3)Lan T.
have you ever heard of the Midtown? well its freakin amazing! Its a hotdog with bacon and cheddar and FRIED with a flour tortilla. It's sooo amazing!!! I went here twice just to have the Midtown again! lol OINK OINK!
(4)Jody G.
Man! That was an AMAZING burger! And, I should know because I eat a heck of a lot of burgers! There are all different types that are named for the squares in Savannah (cute!) as well as the ability the come up with your own creation from a HUGE list of toppings. I had the "Whitefield Square".... a perfect third pound hand-formed patty topped with applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, onion rings, and barbecue sauce. Super Yum! And, the handcut fries and "baked fresh daily" hamburger bun (oh my!) made the whole thing even better! WOW!!
(5)Ellen W.
Food was okay. Service on the other hand was dreadful! We had a large party and they tried to sit us all at one table. We couldn't fit and none of us are obese. We asked to add a table and they told us they couldn't even though they had open tables. Finally 4 of our group went to another table. Food took over an hour to get out while everyone else was getting their food. The manager finally came out and said it was because we ordered appetizers.....NO because the other table ordered apps too and no issues. We literally had to beg for refills of our drinks. Repeatedly! Not just once. Our server obviously had family and friends at a nearby table and gave them 100% of her attention. Then the server was to give us attitude cause we are no longer happy, hungry and late for our next meeting.
(1)Diane C.
well, as usual, hubby and i had different experiences with our meal selections. my burger salad was perfect - the burger was super tasty, and the salad it sat on was super fresh and tasty. whereas, hubby's savannah dip was so-so. he wasn't crazy about it and i thought it was nasty - no flavor in the beef, and the 'hoagie' seemed like it was just a hot dog bun.
(3)Chuck W.
The burgers were good but not great. For prices ranging from $10-20 for a burger I would have expected a patty almost too big to put my mouth around. Instead, burgers were just average size. Must say the buns were fresh baked and tasty. The draw, I guess, were the "designer" burgers all with local landmark names. But, who hadn't had a burger with fried egg by now. For your money's worth, get the chicken sandwich instead. It was huge! On the upside the wait staff was very friendly.
(3)Amy H.
My mother in law and I had lunch here on Memorial Day as a last hurrah to our weekend trip. We both did the Build Your Own options and they were fantastic! MIL did the turkey burger and curly fries, and I had elk and regular fries. First of course is ELK...you never find elk anywhere and it was prepared perfectly! MIL said that the turkey burger was the best she ever had, so juicy and flavorful. Service was a bit slow and we had to sit upstairs, but overall a really great great experience, we will definitely go back next time we are in Savannah!
(5)Brad M.
Fried Green Tomato and Pimento Cheese Turkey Burger - need I say more. Delicious!! We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon because they had such great outdoor seating and a couple of great musicians playing country music. Our food was outstanding, our waitress friendly and attentive and they have a good beer selection. I love that she offered us a paper cup to take our beers to go (love that Savannah law!!). Be sure and get the sweet potato fries - some of the best I have ever had.
(4)Brooke K.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to try this place since our experience with late night eateries in Savannah had been going very badly so far. Since options were limited we came here. We sat on the patio. I loved the projection screen by our table. I ordered the chilli cheese hotdog and my husband got a Bloody Mary and chilli burger. He loved the Bloody Mary and said it was unlike any he had ordered before. I liked my hotdog a lot and he really liked his burger. I don't know that I would go out of my way to eat here during normal business hours, but if you're hungry around 11PM this is the best late night eatery we found during our vacation.
(4)Wendy Y.
I can't find a burger with anything but crap out of a can on top. Yuck. Fries are clearly straight out of a freezer bag precut and pre-spiced.
(1)Wade M.
We went here during our trolley tour of Savannah on a hot, sticky September day. We had our 4 year old son with us and arrived early in the day. The server was attentive and very helpful in making sure that we were taken care of. The beer selection was huge and the burgers and the BLT that my wife had were all excellent. I ordered my burger medium and it was cooked correctly. The decor is neat, with a large, taxidermied alligator as the centerpiece for the restaurant. I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in Savannah.
(4)Steve V.
Went here for the Rock n Roll event yesterday. I'm not even sure the staff knew that the event was going on, which made it a little awkward at the bar when we were suppose to get free beer. It took them a while to figure out what was going on. The waitress was really good though and I had my food out in minutes! Good burger too. Nothing crazy special here, just A-OK.
(3)Jordan L.
I really enjoy their happy hour here. They have decent burgers, although it is just a good place to go for a family meal. There is nothing phenomenal, although just a consistent meal here. I am looking forward for them to put one in Pooler soon so we can frequent here on a casual weekday.
(3)Jaycie H.
I've been here twice now and I have to say "not too shabby". This would be the place for you if you're craving a burger. They have salad, chicken sandwiches and others as well but there's a list of burgers a page long with a make your own option too. They have a full bar and plenty of draft beers. Upstairs, downstairs, and lots of pleasant outdoor seating. B&D has a huge projector so you can watch your favorite sport. I don't quite get the alligator decor but you know. I had an excellent burger with onion rings and bacon. My husband got a fried egg on his burger. It was cooked very well except the bacon seemed slightly off. Like it was made 6 hours earlier but I'm not sure. All in all this place probably won't blow your mind but it is a pretty cool joint and I'm sure I'll be back.
(4)Cecille R.
Stopped in here for a late lunch since another place nearby had an hour wait!! Its located right off City Market and Ellis Square so it's in a very busy area. This place took us in immediately with no wait. The restaurant is very spacious. There's an upstairs and downstairs area. We were seated upstairs. It's very much a sports bar type restaurant. TVs all over the place. Would make for a fun night out watching whatever big game was on. The menu was nothing spectacular or out of the ordinary. They are obviously famous for their burgers . Since I don't eat red meat, I went with the chicken tenders and fries. My husband had the chili cheese dog and onion rings . He seemed to be happy with everything. My dish was good but way too much food. :). My only mini gripe was that the sweet tea had a nasty aftertaste . Not sure if they sweeten with an artificial sweetener or if it was a bad batch but the waitress replaced with no problem at all. Kudos to her. I would totally come back again if I wanted something inexpensive and laidback. And big portions. :)
(4)Flo H.
Very boring burgers. Not tasty at all. Overpriced for what is offered. Big outdoor space... Would not recommend at all. There are many unique places in Savannah's historic district, this isn't one of them.
(1)Meghan C.
The food here is so good and the service and bar are so slow.
(3)Sarah H.
The food was pretty good. The only thing that I didn't really like was the fact that our waitress was seriously drunk. We went to B & D Burgers for a graduation dinner and it took a little while for our table to be ready, which was understandable because we had a medium-to-large sized party. But, the waitress was rude and VERY drunk. I would go again if I didn't have her as the waitress.
(3)Jeleen B.
Awesome awesome service and food! Christin promised "phenomenal service" when she introduced herself and did not disappoint--was great at providing recommendations, helped me with figuring out what on the menu would work for my gluten-free and lactose-free requirements, and was super friendly and efficient even with multiple tables. My burger was really really good--perfectly cooked and flavorful, gluten free bun delicious! My boyfriend also loved his burger and ended up stealing half my tater tots and gobbling up his curly fries. Great draft list and gluten free options by the bottle. We are our lunch out on the expansive but comfortable patio with great tunes and nice looking, friendly crowd. We'll definitely be back!
(4)Robert T.
This place has awesome burgers and a great location. I take my family and we sit outside (under the umbrellas). My kids love their food!! The alligator fingers will give you a chance to try something new as well. There is a huge projector TV on the wall outside to watch all the big games!!
(5)Kate C.
We are visiting here in savannah and tried the chicken parm, the fried pickle chips, chicken strips and cheeseburgers and all were amazing! The customer service was really great, they're very friendly and helpful if you have questions about locations of historical sites, shops and other restaurant locations. They have an excellent atmosphere, it's fun and great decorations. I thoroughly enjoyed both visits and will return again for those pickle chips...darn they're good!
(5)Debbie F.
This location on Congress St was warm and friendly. The Telfair burger, apple bacon, onions and cheese, was perfect. The bartender, Meagan, was so sweet as she helped us find a nice cozy bar for the evening. Everyone in this town is so nice but I would like to come back here next time to eat.
(5)Joey C.
Do not go watch football at this bar. We were cheering for our team with the rest of the fans and got asked to "quite" down. We used to frequent this establishment but will no longer bring any one here. Clients friends or enemies do not deserve to be treated as we were.
(1)Filipe T.
I sat at the bar on a slow night, so the service was very good. The burger was average as I got the classic "The Ardsley" which I was told is a popular choice. It was tasty but the bun was nothing special, and the fries were not hot (as if they were standing for a while). It was January when I went, so I was not able to join the patio which seemed awesome and had ESPN PROJECTED on the building wall! Hugest "screen" I ever saw, I can only imagine a warm day with a good game on! WORLD CUP?!
(4)John D.
Some reviews for BD are all over the place, but, if you're in Savannah and you just want a very good burger and selection of craft brews, you can't go wrong here. Be adventurous and try one of their specialty burgers. I had the Warmsloe (an angus burger with fried green tomatoes and homemade pimento cheese! It was cooked perfectly and with an order of their fresh cut fries will definitely fill you up. The Tyber Island Ale was my choice to drink and it was exactly what I wanted, a nice refreshing medium body beer w a smooth finish. If you're not sure which beer you want , they will happily pour you samples of whatever you want. For people that want to know about atmosphere, BD is a bar w restaurant seating, so it can get a bit noisy at times. If you want less noise and the weAther is good, you can sit outside as well. Overall, quality eats (at good prices) and friendly waitstaff and bartenders.
(4)Connor J.
Best Damn burger in Savannah, and that's coming from a West coast In n' Out lover. Seriously good food consistently, with a great and friendly staff.
(5)Melanie L.
Food is great!!! Kaiser bread was fresh and super soft! Slow service, but we were upstairs and on Sunday! Great Nachos!!!!
(4)Sarah S.
We walked by this place a few hours before deciding to patronize it. It definitely hit the spot. We sat outside and the weather was nice. It was only about 80° and we figured that we were pretty lucky it wasn't any hotter. My husband enjoyed two of their specialty drinks as well as a bison burger with curly fries. I had a soda and a build your own burger (1/3 lb) with regular fries. My husband was upset that the burger didn't come pre-dressed with any liquid condiments, he was fine with having to put the lid and other fixings' on it though. I requested that they add the avocado dip to mine and I was set. All in all, the food was good. There was plenty on our plates, and the service was okay. I was upset that I couldn't finish my burger because I generally save the best bite for last and just couldn't do it. But that isn't the joint's problem, it's my own. Our only real gripe was the price. Seemed pretty steep. Also, the restrooms are pretty gross. It seemed like the exhaust fan blew directly into the ladies room.
(4)Derrick S.
The service could and should be better, some servers should be sent home permanently but they do have better management and they will happily assist when your server can not. This is a place to go in my opinion to watch games and drink beer as the food you have to be drunk to like. IJS.
(2)Ryan C.
Walking around in savannah on vacation a few weeks ago we walked in and had a few beers and burgers. Good eats and good drafts at this joint.

Friendly staff and awesome food! I tried the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese on the savannah food tour. It was so good that we had to come back for dinner. The buffalo chicken dip is delicious! Great atmosphere to watch a game or bring the family.

Awesome local owned burger joint! They have a great variety of burgers to choose from, and you can build your own if you want. They have turkey burger options too. There's a bar with a nice chill atmosphere, and plenty of drafts to choose from. Indoor/outdoor/upstairs seating options also. The courtyard has a projector showing sports most of the time with scattered couches and tables. And if you're feeling really adventurous there's a 3lb burger with 1lb of fries eating challenge that if you complete in under 35 minutes, is free. You'll get a t shirt and your name on a board too. Overall nice place, great burgers, and chill atmosphere.

For a dog and burger place, gotta give it four stars. Wife had the fattest chilly dog I've ever seen and I enjoyed a burger with blue cheese and onion rings called The Lucas.

Always a pleasure to go here. I am always satisfied with the burgers, and all of the trimmings that come with it. Went here last night, and a few nights before to watch the hockey games. Great place to watch the games especially outside where there are multiple TV's, and a huge projector screen on the wall which is awesome. Had a band going playing some good songs. Got the Chatham Burger with sweet potato fries, and last time I got it with tater tots. Great food. Ask for Kat as your waitress! She always has a smile on her face which is a plus for customers, and is very attentive. She got a good tip from me. Definitely will always be going back here, and possibly again for the hockey game tomorrow!

The outdoor dining at this place is great - big gorgeous patio, corn hole, ample fans and big TVs. Our server was great, and they have a pretty decent beer list as well. The fried pickles were awesome. The reason I'm giving this place two stars is because of the burger. I had the Wormsloe Burger topped with pimento cheese and a fried green tomato and a side of onion rings. The whole dish was far, far too greasy...leaving unappetizing puddles of oil on my plate well before I'd finished my meal. Above all, six hours after eating here - I had an awful bought of food poisoning that can only be attributed to eating here (this was my only meal that day). All in all, great beer and outdoor space...questionable food.

Ice cold beers with lots of burger options, two of our favorites! If your a sports fan, which we are not, it's a great place to catch the game. TVs everywhere! Also, two key pieces of information you maybe interested in. They have Gluten Free buns and are dog friendly on the patio.

One of the best burger places I've been to. They are always nice and food comes out fast. I'm always out in less then an hour when it's busy

B&D wasn't bad, it just wasn't fantastic. We are out of towners and we have a few places back home that would put them to shame. The staff were super helpful and attentive. Nice atmosphere, but the food just left something to the imagination. I wouldn't avoid going in the future, but I might be persuaded to try another burger joint over this one.

Really creative burgers-- seriously don't order anything else. I give this 4 out of 5 because I am huge gator bites snob and they have it on the menu. Their gator bites were just average but do not let this deter you because chances are you don't get to eat gator bites or of the quality that I do. Stick with the creatives burgers, of which you can get in small, large, turkey and bison, and enjoy their wide offering a great beers. Great location, great service.

I had the Pulaski burger on a pretzel bun. It was good. I wasn't blown away. The chili had a nice spice to it. The service was great. The beef selection was very good. I am a bit of a burger snob but I will return at some point.

So good! I saw bad reviews here, so I was a little nervous.. But boy was this worth the trip! Everything we had was awesome (Forsyth burger & wormsloe burger & corn nuggets) so fresh! Easily top 10 burger of my life. The service was fun and friendly. Pretty good beer selection and prices reasonable. If you want a good burger - this place is it!

Was looking for a quick bite and a beer. Definitely has a chain feel to it. Waitstaff is young and nice enough. Service was quick. Beer was brought in a warm, wet pint glass. Like they rinsed it only. Burger was nothing special. I passed by this place for the rest of my trip.

Not bad at all! The menu is unique and can't get their menu anywhere from where I'm from. Lots of TV's in the bar area and they have an outside seating as well. I got the Blake's Savannah dip with sweet potato fries. It's hot roast beef, melted provolone, sauteed onions and fresh jalapenos served on a fresh baked hoagie with au jus on the side. It was so delicious, I cleaned out my plate. The Service was okay. I would definitely recommend this place.

After a long day, my cousin & I decided to stop in for a bite, a beer & relax. The place looked lively & interesting, so we thought we'd give it a try. They have a huge patio/outdoor area and had projected the World Cup game so it was pretty crazy out there. We thought we'd find out about a possible wait or try sitting at the bar. We approached the hostess & she didn't acknowledge us at first, didn't say much and acted like she was ready to pass out on the stand; she was very blasé about offering to seat us. We chose to sit at one of the two bars instead and the bartender informed us right as we sat down that 1) we were sitting at a part of the bar that wasn't really seating (um...ok then why are there barstools there?) & 2) he was supposed to already be off but got asked to stay late for a large party & had to open next day. So we started out feeling unwelcome & with the impression that management understaffs & overworks their employees, which makes for unhappy staff & therefore a less than stellar customer experience. He said it was fine we sat there though, so we went with it since it didn't seem crazy busy at that particular bar. But a few minutes later another bartender asked us to move b/c we were "in the way" of the servers drink pick up station (not clearly marked and again--don't put barstools there if it isn't seating). Ironically, later on when it got busier some of the bartenders buddies sat there drinking?!?! Hmm. Thought it wasn't seating. The bartenders got friendlier as the evening progressed & they were actually very nice. I just don't like that as a customer of the restaurant that we were hearing so much complaining & lackadaisical attitude towards our dining experience. Anyway, our food came, and it wasn't bad, but I think mine was responsible for the bout of food poisoning I experienced a few hours later. They had a decent beer selection with a few craft beers mixed in with the standard stuff. Overall I give 2 stars because at the onset of our experience we felt like we were a hassle for these folks to deal with & because I ended up ill later that night. Again, maybe management isn't doing a great job with their scheduling & staffing enough employees for shifts, but our overall experience was not great & we agreed we wouldn't try this place again.

Great burgers and I love the BD salad. I've been eating salads with a cheese burger on top for years and it great. The outside patio is a fantastic place to catch a game or just to hang out with friends. Service can be slow when they're busy, but they're busy because they're good. A keeper.

Not bad at all, I like the outdoor patio. I ordered a ceasar salad and was surprised to see tomatoes and cheddar cheese. Maybe it's their own version of ceasar salad but it was just a tad too salty. I also ordered onion rings and wow they are DELICIOUS

B&D was recommended to my wife and I by a food tour and we've gone here twice now. Two of the best burgers I've ever had. They were cooked perfectly, had great toppings and the 1/3 left me very full. We also had a side of onion rings which were also great. Both downtown locations have a cool vibe with alligators all over the walls. Service very quick, would highly recommend!

Got a burger craving? They got'em & they're pretty damn tasty. Tipsy hubby decided to do the Bring It On challenge, which was pretty entertaining. It's a 3lb Burger made the way you like it, plus a full pound of fries that you gotta finish in 35 minutes to be immortalized on the wall of fame (or shame) & a tshirt. I had a bacon cheddar burger that was cooked to perfection. Our server was nice, the atmosphere was laid back & the gators are pretty cool. It's two levels, if you can be seated upstairs, do it, it's SUPER hot & humid downstairs.

This place was recommended to me and my wife by a local shop keeper. Very busy place but worth the wait. I partook in the "Bring it on!" challenge. Its a 3 lb. burger and a pound of fries in under 35 minutes. I couldn't finish it. The time limit is what gets you. My wife had a bacon cheddar burger she really enjoyed. Plenty to choose from at the bar. Upstairs seating and interesting decorations.

Service is spectacular. We LOVED the Corn Nugget Fritters, the Buffalo Chicken Dip, the Key Lime Pie, and the Chocolate/Peanut Butter Pie... (Didn't eat any entrees) Outdoor patio is awesome, including Tv's, Cornhole, and speakers...

We went here because it looked like a fun atmosphere and I had been wanting to try the burgers. We were seated right away and then we waited. The staff appeared to be doing a lot of chatting with each other and weren't paying attention to their tables. We got our drinks and then waited to order food. Then we waited more. The tables weren't all full and at times our waitress was just standing there doing nothing. We finally asked about the food and she immediately went and got it so it had obviously been ready for a while. I think it was about an hour between when we ordered it and asked her to get it. The burgers, fries, onion rings and sweet potato fries were all pretty good. Then we waited a bit more and she brought us the wrong check. She took it away and didn't come back. Finally we waved her down and she said "oh did you want your check?" Sigh..... go to Green Truck Pub. Better food and way better service.

Good burgers. Lots of interesting craft burgers and an excellent beer selection. The place was lively but not crowded. However, it took about 20 minutes for us to get our beers and over and hour to get our burgers. Good good and a great atmosphere, but service wasn't the fastest. Fortunately, we had a drink from the street and the wait was ok.

Definitely a fan of this place! Came here with the family recently. We were seated quickly, had a good table with a direct view of the projecter screen showing football, and our waitress was kind and efficient. I ordered the Ardsley Park burger with the sweet potato fries and honey mustard for dipping. SO GOOD. I couldn't finish the burger, but did finish the fries. Everyone loved it. Will definitely come back here next time we're in town!

Great atmosphere to watch a game - love the outdoor screen. BUT that's the only reason to go here. Sadly the food is overpriced and not very good. The service is lousy. Our food order came out wrong, no one did anything about it even when we said something and we were charged for things we never got. What a shame because I wanted to like this place. If the owners don't get a handle on the food quality and servers' attitude, they won't last.
