This place is the I would say the best there is to offer in the way of Spanish food here in Savannah!! I have been there quite a few times and I have never had a bad experience. The staff is pleasant and quick to take and get your order.. I have had the Tripleta Sandwich which includes fries, it's a combination of steak, perni, and ham.. omg delicious. . I have also had the Vaca Frita with Rice,Black beans, Maduros and of course a side of Avacado.. which they give you half an avacado... :) .. the Vaca Frita is seasoned perfectly with lime garlic sauce and onions.. The prices are very decent compared to other restaurants in the area.. Give this a try and you won't be disappointed! ! This place definitely takes me back to summers in the Dominican Republic with my abuela and her cooking..

I really want to love this place because the very friendly and helpful waitress. Unfortunately the massively portioned food was only OK. Had the Bandeja Paisa as recommended. The steak, beans, and avocado were good -- but the rest was very dry and bland. The gargantuan fried pork skin was dramatic but overcooked and hard to eat. The menu is as huge as the portions. With sections from nearly every Latin country. On the front door it says must be 21 to enter after 11pm. My girl had doubts about going in. The prominent bar looks like it gets busy late at night.

I hate to give bad restaurant reviews. But i feel genuinely misled by all the great reviews on this place. Granted it is not a purely Colombian restauarant, they do claim this is their specialty. While i am not Colombian, I've lived there for some time and was born and raised in NY where there is copius amounts of authentic Colombian food. The food was underwhelming at best. They have a great menu and selection, but it just wasnt up to par. The arepa de choclo was kind of flavorless and not very sweet. The beef empenadas were very tasty. The bandeja paida, the most quintessential Colombian dish, was disappointing. The beef and chicken (had my pork substituted with chicken) were rubbery and bland. No juice or flavor at all. The rice even tasted like it came out of a rice cooker. The arepa was good. The beans also tasted not fresh, almost as if from a can. I really wanted to love this place as i was excited to find Colombian cuisine in the area. But the food was just not flavorful at all. Yes portions are generous and prices decent, but i would not dine here again and was severely let down If youve never had Colombian food before, sure, try it out if you want. But if you know better and are expecting the best, i suggest passing this one up. Two stars because the server and staff were friendly and accomodating.

My first time was earlier today! It was wonderful! If you haven't tried it. You need to go. The food is just like it is in South America. They do a fantastic job.

Hmm...where to start? I almost don't want to share my review in case this brilliant restaurant becomes famous and I can no longer get a table. :) Gosh this place is good. We have been 3 times now and hands down it is the best place in Savannah/Pooler to get authentic Latin food. The arepa con todo is to. Die. For. House made chicharrones, sinfully delicious cheese and chicken, melt in your mouth pork all wrapped in a light, moist corn cake...it is Heaven. The tostones and empanadas are spot-on...as well as all of their other specialties. Everything is kitchen fresh (which I am sure you will appreciate with the empanada and arepa dough) and the sauces they have to accompany the dishes...mmmh!!! Do yourself a favor and try this place. It is AMAZING!!!

The food was delicious and fun. There was no one else in the restaurant. I ate the most popular Columbian dish, but it wasn't the best. I think it was extremely authentic, but I have had better. The server was really nice and helpful when it came to picking dishes from the menu. Great place. There was a sign that said there were "no on under 21 after 11." We went at 5pm... So could be a completely different atmosphere.

Another Latin representation here in the form of Colombian food. This is where the original Rancho Aelgre was located on Posey between Abercorn and White Bluff. If you had the opportunity to visit it when it was the Cuban restaurant then you know this is in a old house that isnt very large but the space is very cozy and with the right lighting at night be very romantic. Never having had Colombian food before I took a good look at the menu before ordering and I saw some familiarity with both Puerto Rican and Cuban food but then a few things that I was not so familiar with. Being my first time I decided to go with what I considered a safe dish from the lunch menu and went with Masa de cerdo fritas (Fried Pork Chunks). My dish was $6.95 and, like all other lunch dishes, comes with white rice, a salad, and one additional side which my choice was the Mofongo Plain. My coworker ordered Ropa Vieja and his side was the Red Beans. I'm not sure if either of our dishes were necessarily Colombian being that Mofongo and fried pork are usually associated with Puerto Rican and Ropa Vieja normally associated with Cuban but there may be some crossover I am not aware of being I am not as familiar with Colombian cuisine. Regardless of what nationality are dishes originate from as soon as they hit they table I was pretty sure this place was going to be legit. First thing you notice is the portion sizes which are HUGE! (See Picture) The salad comes with a balsamic vinaigrette that was tasty and my dish came with three different sauces, a mojo sauce for the pork, a vinegar based sauce for the mofongo, and a pink sauce that the waitress explained was widely used in Colombia and usually put on nearly everything. As for the taste of everything it was absolutely amazing. Even the plain white rice was fantastic. My coworker said the same for his dish and after he nearly devoured everything he looked up in a daze and said "did you want to try any of this?". The only thing he had left was a small piece of the Ropa Vieja which was top notch as well. As I was leaving I ran into a friend of mine who is Latin and he was telling me this was his second visit and that this place is legit. He had the Antojo Arepa Con Todo with Chicharrons which is a stuffed corn cake type of sandwich (resembled a pita) stuffed with fried pork cracklings and his friend had the Bandeja paisa which is the typical Colombian platter with red bean, white rice, sausage, pork cracklings, ground beef, fried egg, plantain, corn cake, and avocado. Both dishes looked amazing and I will be trying the Colombian platter on my next visit. The service here was very attentive and helpful when it came to the menu. If you like Latin food this place is a must try. Its fairly new but its only a matter of time before word gets out about this place being they have such good food, at low cost and large quantities.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal and terrific service here last night. The empanadas were excellent. I loved my first arepas and my husband enjoyed the combination platter -- Bandeja Paisa . Fantastic food, great prices and delightful service. They were setting up for Karaoke as we were leaving and it looked like a great deal of fun was about to be had by the young folks beginning to pack the place. We will be back for the wonderful food and friendly atmosphere.

hidden away and in a really bizarre location but bloody authentic indeed. vegetarian friendly, spicy, not just another Cuban spot, there's real Colombia and Puerto Rico here, more than just fried plantains. well done, but funky location and not spacious.

Pretty decent Latin American food here. I wouldn't go as far as to call it a "Colombian" restaurant per se, given that a lot of the stuff on the menu is from other places in Latin America alongside some Colombian dishes. HOWEVER, it is the only place I've yet to find in Savannah where you can find Colombian arepas, empanadas a bandeja Paisa. As a Colombian living here, this is most welcome. Plus, whatever food I tried here, whether it was Colombian or not, tasted pretty good and close enough to the real thing.

I visited Colombia in the 90s and enjoyed their food greatly. Antojo Latino restaurant brought back good memories of those days, I have been here a few times and been satisfied every time. Their "Bandeja Paisa" to me is the best in their menu. Come and enjoy some great "comida latina".

We tried both the beef and chicken empanadas. The dough on the chicken empanadas was very god and obviously made in house, the filling was moist and flavorful. They pair very well with the ají sauce. The beef empanadas were made with a cornmeal dough and filled with shredded beef and potato. For my entree I had the bandeja paisa which was both authentic and good. The bandeja consisted of grilled steak, sausage, fried pork (bear in mind that this will be crunchy and difficult to cut through), an arepa, a toston, and a bowl of red beans with potatoes. Also worth trying is the picada. Service was very friendly though it got very busy and things slowed down. The restaurant is depending on word of mouth advertising, so stop by and give them a try. I will definitely be going back!
