On my way home and noticed that they were open for lunch stopped in for a quick sandwich. Got the Philly cheesesteak, awesome! Great service---and a good value. I will be back again for sure.

yum yum yum! App--duck spring rolls. My boyfriend went crazy over them! I thought they were good but I was more in love with the house salad. The mix of salt and sugar was just right! For dinner we shared the trout and the short rib. Both were cooked to perfection but the short rib was especially good. It was over the best risotto I've eaten in a loonnnng time! Server was a good judge of character. I think he could tell we were pretty laid back and joked with us/chatted with us most of the night. At one point he asked if we worked out (perfect compliment as I've been trying!) Good job sir! Overall, really nice experience.

Great place! Went here after a friend recommended it. The staff is very friendly. We met the owner Massy (sp) cool guy and very nice. It was our first time and the place was a little quiet due to tomorrow being Easter. Had the shrimp app which was excellent, then the wifey and I shared a pizza and the owner slide us a piece of carrot cake to top it off. Everything was awesome! The carrot cake is definitely one of the best I've ever had. Look forward to going back, nice ambiance, good food and friendly staff so it has it all! Be sure to check this place out if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed!

Really nicely done bistro fare in a great space, with an appreciative, active owner. OTP diners win again. Location is pretty accessible to anyone in the Roswell/Alpharetta/East Cobb corridor and the interior is a warm, muted big space which really opens up from its strip mall front. Patio looked nice as well. Started with some oysters Rockefeller (1/2 Dozen $10) which were really nicely done. Big, fresh oysters with just enough spinach and parm not to overwhelm, and just lightly kissed by the broiler too. Also did the house made potato chips ($5) which put other versions to shame. Just enough gorganzola and not too greasy. Entrees had a nice selection of choices, one being a Veracruz grouper ($23) that was a spicy tomato based prep of a big, meaty fish. The Southern Fried Chicken Breast ($17) was also a winner, a great garlic spinach side. The braised short rib ($22) was wonderfully rich and tender and really benefitted from some tender asparagus spears for the veg. Finally, a properly cooked Etris burger and some great fries ($13) earned the price point with high-quality. And, yes, the carrot cake is completely evil, featuring a ton of coconut. A real treat, and something that marks this place as truly a local joint, is all the local craft drafts available. Even including the Belgian fare from Reformation, their Cadence dubble in particular. Not everyone would put that one on, but it goes great with the house chips in particular. And thanks for reasonable $6 pours too. Service was warm, friendly, and attentive, if maybe a little inexperienced. But that is self-correcting and hopefully won't get overwhelmed. All in all, a nice place for a casual, if high quality, meal. No complaints.

Great food. Lemon Rosemary Chicken and N GA Trout. Great atmosphere and fast service. Husband got Key Lime pie for dessert and he was blown away. Certainly a hidden gem.

Had dinner with the family tonight - first time. Pop greeted us at entry and talked to us for a few minutes - very nice. Food was excellent including the desserts. The carrot cake is made by Pop and it is one of the best carrot cakes I've ever had. Waiter was excellent. We are completely stuffed after eating too much. We will be back. Nice environment and friendly place to spend some time in.

Had a great dinner with the family. The staff and food are outstanding. The restaurant's decor is wonderful. Fell in love at first visit. I recommend the Trout. It was cooked to perfection. The apple pie is a must.

Great food! The BBQ pizza is SO good The Fish and Chips taste like London! The Short Ribs tender and flavorful and the Rosemary Chicken tender! Love the Brussels sprouts! Eat the desserts, ALL of them!!!

Food was well priced and good. We had the Etris Burger and the Fish and Chips. Nice to be able to substitute fries for the great sides. I had pan fried Brussel Sprouts. Mmmm! Atmosphere was ok but cliche. Not very busy but it's summer.

Menu has really come together well after a lot of changes in their first year. Kitchen is consistently good in preparation and quality of food. Prices are good for the quality. The patio is nice during the warmer months. The wood oven adds a great flavor to dishes and especially the pizza. I recommend the Pop's special with thin crust - it is truly one of the best around. Pops takes great pride in his work and will go out of his way to make special pizzas. They have added live music on Saturday night with various local artists. Nice addition. I'm glad things have settled down with the kitchen and look forward to being a frequent diner. Wine selection is decent but not outstanding - good variety of whites and reds. Beers on tap usually include favorites like Stella, Terrapin, Sweetwater, and usually another craft beer or two.

This place is awesome!!! It is our go to place for take out, as well as, family night and date night. Everything we have had has been amazing and Massi (the owner) has been the most hands on owner. Everytime we come in, Massi greets us and makes us feel so welcome. Fish tacos are great and the kids love the chicken tenders and pizza!!! If you haven't tried this place... You are missing out!!!

Such a good spot. The staff is great and the food is amazing . Had some calamari , nachos and trout and all were delicious . I will definitely be a regular customer . Not to mention they make a mean mojito.

Excellent food and atmosphere. A great place to spend time with friends. We had cocktails first. Our friends had the strawberry basil mojito and I had the blueberry lemonade it was fantastic. Both were super legit with the ingredients freshly blended in. Highly recommend the lemonade cocktail. For dinner I had the fried Chicken and my wife had the Salmon. On the side I had the brussel sprouts. Both were fantastic. I was a little jealous of my wife's salmon. For dessert we had the carrot cake which was made in house. Somebody there knows how to make carrot cake. Perhaps the best part of the night was meeting the owner and his family. Massi and Melissa own and operate the restaurant and her father is constantly moving about making sure everyone is happy. At the end of our meal Massi came by to check on us and say hello. It was great to hear his story and how the restaurant is expanding into the lunch hour as well. It's great to live in such a place where there are so many fine restaurants. Among its peers Etris Kitchen stands out for its excellent food but also for the fine people who run it.

Delicious shrimp and grits! Went here last night with a few friends and I was a little surprised there weren't more patrons on a Friday night at 7pm. The decor is super cute and everything on the menu sounds great. The group started with a few cocktails and spinach and artichoke dip. The cocktails and waters seemed to take forever to come out, which was strange considering there were only a few others in the restaurant. Once they arrived everyone seemed to enjoy their drinks of choice and the appetizer was yummy. We ran out of crostini before we finished the dip and the server was on top of getting us more, which was nice. Service was a little slow in the beginning but thankfully got better as the meal went on. I ordered the shrimp and grits which was great and my husband ordered the fried chicken. He wasn't overly impressed with the chicken, but seemed to enjoy the sides that came with the meal. Overall, it was a good experience and we'll try it again. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of the slow service we received when we arrived. It took about 5-7 minutes to get drinks and we waited another 20 mins (we had completely finished our app and my friends had all finished their first cocktails) for our waiter to come back and take our dinner order. I'm all for a server not bothering you constantly but it shouldn't take that long to come back and take dinner orders. Again, I really enjoyed my meal and I plan to return to try one of the pizzas and some carrot cake!

What a treat to find this great restaurant so close to our house! We went in and were greeted warmly by the owner and his wife. We had heard that the brick oven pizza was worth going for and it did not disappoint our expectations! Pops, the chef, delivered it himself to the table and it was delicious. We also ended our meal with a carrot cake that was by far the best cake I have ever put in my mouth! We will certainly be back and plan to tell our friends about it.

Great starters, salads, entrees & wood fired pizza. Love the ambience & welcoming feel! My fav app is the buttermilk fried shrimp with sweet chili sauce! It is always consistent & tasty! Tonight we had the Caprese salad, Caesar salad w grilled chicken & margherita pizza & Etris burger! Check out the new summer menu & patio. A neighborhood gem!

Fried chicken...perfectly fried and light as a feather. Spinach...just enough garlic and cooked perfectly. Trout...cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Potatoes...so good and perfectly seasoned. Peach cobbler...we were literally fighting over it. She crab soup...best soup I've ever had, hands down. Spoons up! Brussels sprouts...shut up, just shut up. I can't even describe them. Chef Boyd lives across the street from the friends I was visiting (Marc & Karen) and a couple times I thought about going over to his house to either hug him or slug him. I ate there twice and ordered enough food so I would be guaranteed leftovers. The service was great too. So many nice people work in that restaurant that I want them to move to San Diego...the whole damn restaurant.

Our family had a nice birthday dinner there. My meal started with a bowl of the yummy She-Crab Soup and the excellent House Salad. My entree was the Barbecue Ribs served on a bed of cheese grits with a green been side. I also added a side of mashed potatoes. For dessert I opted for the delicious Peach Cobbler, served very warm with a tasty scoop of fresh vanilla ice cream. They only offered 3 desserts but we had them all and they were all well received. All of my family raved about their meals - we will be back! Highly recommended.

Was eager to try because of the brick oven. I got the special pizza with meatball, prosciutto, caramelized onions, and whatnot. Waiter was good, but completely unprepared for questions a food snob would have. But my taste buds say I strongly doubt if they use the Neapolitan guidelines. It is not in the same league as Antico and Campania, but better than most. Prime rib sandwich actually tasted more like roast beef. Quality of meat was good, but bread overwhelmed the sandwich in what may be a weak attempt to make it seem bigger than it truly is. Better quality and smaller roll and a little more meat, it has potential. I was told be a trusted neutral source, they use a good supplier for their seafood. "Potential" seems to be the key word. That's a bad omen because the previous occupant had so much promise but could never get out of their own way. If you have ever been to the current home of The Mill and its previous occupants, you'd believe in omens too. Still, will probably go back and try the seafood, hoping to upgrade to at least a 4*

Stopped in on our way home from vacation in Atlanta. This was a great send off! Scrumptious chicken sandwich w/cranberry mayo and berries and custard for dessert! Cozy yet elegant atmosphere with fantastic service! Kudos to the chef for a creative menu with healthy and mouth-watering options!

Definitely a 5 star location. If they keep up this kind of quality, I look for them to become a neighborhood staple. I had the prime rib sandwich. Perhaps they've reworked it since the other reviewer had it. Mine had plenty of meat, and it definitely tasted like properly cooked prime rib. While there was a bit of sauce on it, it wasn't sweet. I got mine on Rye bread, and while the slices were big, so was the filling in the middle, which included onion straws. I was definitely happy with mine. My wife ordered a bowl of soup and a half salad. The soup (chicken tortilla) was definitely not from a can, and tasted great. The salad was good enough that she ordered a second one to take home for dinner that night. The prices seemed fair-six bucks for the half salad, less than that for the soup. The prime rib sandwich was eleven, but was big enough that I didn't mind paying for it. Also, the menu said that sandwiches come with house made chips, but our server said I could order a side instead if I wanted (those are three bucks each, and include a good selection). He suggested fries, so I went with that, and was not disappointed. They actually lightly bread the fries, almost like potato wedges, and they were excellent. The atmosphere was good-casual, and the server was friendly. We don't live that close to this restaurant, but we do go to Alpine Bakery, right up the street, pretty frequently, and will probably make this our go-to lunch spot whenever we're over that way.

Good new entrant to the crabapple area. Brick oven pizza and entrees. Came for lunch with the wife and kids. I had the monstrous prime rib sandwich, the wife had a Waldorf salad and seafood soup, and the kids shared the house made chicken tenders. All good stuff. Will definitely be back.

Phenomenal night on the porch with my daughters and fantastic food... We ordered the Firecracker Shrimp, the mussels and cheeseburger. We all have mild palettes so we were concerned about the heat but each dish was perfectly seasoned. Thank you!

We walked right in on a Saturday night so were a little curious about why it was so quiet. This restaurant is apparently still finding itself. The spring rolls appetizer was great. The chopped salad had a little too much dressing but the added chicken was very generous. The veggie pizza was mild but good. Wine was great. Service was excellent. The rest rooms were clean. The music was a tad loud but still the ambience was fine. We will be back to keep exploring the menu.

We have had dinner at Etris Kitchen 6 times, and it has been great every time. Very friendly and inviting. Try the fried chicken, pizza or flat iron steak with a cup of she crab soup for a wonderful meal.

It's been open barely two weeks and I've eaten here 4 times. The wings are serious with shaved caramelized onions on top!! Their pizza is great as well. I wish I could order a Large pizza it's so good. Service is top notch!

Had dinner on a recent Saturday evening. There were four of us and there were plenty of empty tables. Service was extremely slow and the server did very little to see to our needs. We decided that if the food was good it would be OK. Well it was very inconsistent. My Salmon was good but my wife's pizza had a soggy crust. My friend had a chicken and the plate was too small. He was told that there was nothing they could do about a larger dish. As you can see, this was not a good night out and we will not return. Let's see. Mediocre food and poor service. Not a good recipe for success.

Very busy and great atmosphere. Went on a Saturday night. The chicken wings with the frizzled onions were outstanding. Very juicy meaty chicken. ordered hot and it had a nice kick. Had the pork chop. Was extremely salty, maybe too much salt in the brine? Ordered medium, came out well done. Pizza with the tomatoes was undercooked, and overloaded with tomatoes. Was too wet, the crust was soggy. Very nice servers, know they are new, will be back and think they will get the kinks worked out.

I went for the 3rd time to Etris kitchen and it was excellent. A new chef and a new menu has impressed me. I tried the spring roles and the steak salad and they were both great. Highly recommend this joint.

Came in with a table of 8, (no reservation,) and was told we had a 30 minute wait. After 15 minutes or so, I asked the hostess if they could could combine 2 four-top tables for me, but evidentially the owner decided not to. His decision caused us to have to wait long enough for a couple to come in, eat, then leave, before we were seated. It was a little annoying with 1 small children that didn't want to sit still, crammed in a very small waiting areA behind the hostesses. The table ahead of us were super slow, so we had to wait longer than anyone thought, but we finally were seated for service. I ordered French Onion soup - great flavor, but they served me a tiny "regular" spoon. I asked for a " soup spoon," but I'm not sure they even knew what I was talking about. The hostess brought me a LARGE spoon, I'd almost call it a "serving spoon," which was fine with me, but not appropriate for a restaurant of this type. I had the roasted 1/2 chicken, wife had pork chop, one kid has pizza, and the other burger sliders. Overall food was ok, but nothing was great. Surprised the wood fired oven didn't produce a crispy crust on the pizza. My mashed potatoes "might" have been room temp. The pork chop had great flavor, but was thin, slightly over-cooked and as a result dry. I had sweet tea, and think I was being served sweet, unsweetened every other glass. 1 of 4 glasses I had was very good, while 2 were awful. Prices were reasonable, and the place has a good feel to it. With all the choices in Roswell, they really need to step up their game. I hope they do because the place has great potential. Our waiter was average at best, but 1/2 way through our meal, other servers started jumping in to assist which was very helpful, and attentive on their part. Before they jumped in, we had to keep asking for basics like steak knives, ketchup, removing empty glasses, etc I'm adding at least 1/2 star to my score, but they are new and probably getting the kinks worked out. 2 hours and 15 minute experience, but was with great company and didn't really mind.

Wow!!! This will be a regular place for us! Fantastic dinner tonight!! Calamari, Chicken Spring Rolls, Beef Shish Kebobs, Burger and Chicken... All amazing! Definitely recommend for your next evening out.. We will definitely come for lunch soon.. The Grilled Chicken Caprese Sandwich sounds soooo good! Service was excellent and the owner was by to check on us several times!! Love it!

We sooo want this place to make it. Great location and it has potential but I hope they read these reviews and take heed. The bar needs better lighting. Lots of people like to eat at the bar and the lighting is harsh, which isn't good for the food or the people - soften, please. I had the salmon last weekend and it was really good. My potatoes were barely warm and I noticed someone else had that same experience. Another night, we had the pizza. When I say it had NO flavor whatsoever, I'm not joking. Now - I make pizza at home (and I can't cook) and if even I can make pizza with flavor, you can too people! As for the staff, we love the bartenders and the owner was extremely friendly both times. The hostesses were sweet and the overall feel of the place is pleasant. The main recommendation I would make is to combine the lunch & dinner menu. The dinner menu is extremely limited so you could easily offer people more choices by combining those. Sometimes a burger for dinner fits the bill and at the present time, I don't think there are any sandwiches offered at dinner time. We will give it another try but there are issues that need immediate attention so that the reviews don't keep people away. The location almost guarantees success if the food is good and affordable.

First time there, things were a little rocky to start. Took a while for someone to take care of us, then the drinks we ordered came a few minutes apart. Think they were sorting out the table assignments. But once things got rolling, it was terrific. I had the NY strip -- always a crapshoot in a small restaurant. But it was steakhouse quality -- great seasoning, cooked perfectly in the open flame oven. Very juicy and great balance of tender and texture. My wife had the roast chicken -- she was picking the bones before she was through. (I left nothing) The sides were excellent, and I would recommend the baby spinich salad with bacon dressing. The waiter was a very nice kid just here from California -- paid just enough attention. Owner or manager came by once -- again, just enough attention. My wife likes Cosmos. One of the ways we judge a restaurant is if they use quality incredients and fresh lime. Some places use a pre-mix, which is like vodka and Kool-Aide. Etris makes an excellent one -- very well prepared. I had the Ca'stella pino grigio (clean, crisp), then the V.No cab (full and silky) . Not a wine expert by any means, but had a surprising variety for a small place -- put together with some care. Look forward to trying others on the menu. We really hope they make it. Excellent food. Nice people. They are working hard to do it right. We plan to be regulars.

Had dinner here last Sunday. Very warm and inviting atmosphere. Loved the bar. Owner was very present and eager to talk to customers and open to suggestions. I had the seafood pasta with shrimp, calamari and PEI Mussels that were cooked perfectly! Good size and very tender. Hubby and Son both had burgers and enjoyed them. Thick cut fries were very tasty. Key Lime pie was fresh and delicious with a raspberry compote. Well appointed menu . Location is great but word of mouth is important so this gem gets the business it deserves.

Went for dinner with another couple on a Saturday night. We arrived around 630p and were seated right away. The waiter was a bit too friendly in that we were trying to have a conversation and he kept trying to drag out his interactions. He wasn't overly familiar with the menu and had to go check on questions we'd asked slowing down the ordering process. Additionally 2 of us ordered a glass of wine and then realized we'd rather share a bottle. We tried to get his attention (in a mostly empty restaurant) and finally gave up and ran over to the bar to tell him. At which time he told us the bartender had already poured the 2 glasses. Not generally what you would do in that situation. The food was mediocre at best, kind of like eating at Friday's. When we asked about dessert we were told he'd have to check (again) as they'd been busy the day before and were out of almost everything. Who is out of most of their desserts early on a Saturday? Won't bother going back.

Very disappointing. Service was slow and poor and food was cold. I think they forgot to cook the polenta. It was very cold and looked like it was a day old. Scallops barely only warm. Chef didn't really seem to care. We won't be going back again. Great location but they just aren't ready.

I gave it two times for lunch. First time had the prime rib sandwich. Lots of good prime beef but smothered in a super sweet sauce they say is the au jus.... better leave that off or serve on the side. WAY too sweet and covers up the flavor of the beef. Clam chowder so full of ham it tastes like ham soup, no flavor of the clams. Had the burger today. it was pretty decent, but not much flavor here either. Onion rings were over fried and so greasy I could not eat them. French onion soup is thin, watery and has no onion flavor. I may try dinner and hope it is better for the money.

First time here & can't believe I've driven by it for a year without coming in. The food is definitely more high end than I expected & delicious. Don't miss the mussels in the coconut curry sauce. Will be coming back & bringing friends and family with me.

It's our 4th time here. The food, service and atmosphere are wonderful. But what makes this restaurant really special is that they are always trying to improve and make you happy. Chef Boyd has added an amazing palate pleasing ability! Learned tonight that the carrot cake was his Grandmother's recipe. Go Grandma!
