Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

One of my favorite quick serve places in Roswell (except at noon when there is a line almost outside the door). Non-GMO which is a plus and easy gluten free options (salad or rice bowls). My only gripe is depending on the server they can go light on the protein serving. And they need to get the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. The typical fountain dispensers are so 1995.

I am a huge Chipotle fan. I believe they are the best in their category of food. However, all Chipotle restaurants are not equal. For example, at this location I was appalled at how little rice and chicken I was given. I ordered the bowl and the rice did not even cover the bottom of bowl. That's crazy. Then I got so little chicken that for the first time, I didn't have chicken in every bite. She is not pleased. This location has plenty of seating and a nice patio. However, as I sat on the patio, I kept getting whiffs of stinky smells. It was like sewage stinky. Who knows where that is coming from. Also, I want them to clean the bird poo off the tables. Normally Chipotle gets 4 or 5 stars from me, but I can't forgive being skimpy on the rice and chicken. I have to give the three stars because the food, as always, was delicious and fresh.

The food is great! If you don't mind a little rudeness, you're good. Get burritos or the bowls. If you get tacos they don't seem to understand the words "little amount." This ends in tacos flooded with lettuce. Other than that, super good. The sofritas and chicken are delicious.

The food was good but the restaurant was not clean at all there was 9 people working and they have almost all of the tables dirty

Best Chipotle in the northern suburbs. Line moves fast and portions are generous. It seems some Chipotles underestimate the amount of room required to comfortably move around the restaurant, and also underestimate the parking required for the lunch rush. This place is easy to get into, easy to get around when you're inside, and easy to get out. Customer service is friendly, and they're never scraping the bottom of the pan for your order. This Chipotle is a safe bet.

Excellent food and excellent service. This is one of the best Chipotle's out there. They certainly DO NOT skimp on portions. And if you ask for "a little bit more" of an item, they are more than willing to accomodate. I read all of the previous reviews of this location: YES the parking stinks. YES the dining is small. YES a busy lunch crowd means the dining area may need to be cleaned slightly. And YES if you like Willys better you should go there instead (and not leave a review notating another restaurant as your favorite). BUT the food here is absolutely fantastic! Do yourself a favor and stop in. My family loved it here!

We visited this Chipotle for an impromptu lunch on our trip to Atlanta. It was after the direct lunch rush and the restaurant was still a little busy, but no major line. The staff worked quickly to prep orders, and the food was great. The in-store seating area was not clean well during the lunch, because it was tough to find a seat that was not dirty. Once we cleaned off a table and chairs we were good to go.

I've come to the conclusion that the #1 pre-requisite for building a Chipotle within the "greater" Atlanta area is that it must have a terrible parking lot. Seriously, whether it's the Chipotle in downtown, the Chipotle in Vinings, all the way up to the outskirts in Alpharetta, I'm convinced that unless the parking lot is a place where your life is in danger, or at least your car stands a greater chance of accidental collision than anywhere else, there couldn't possibly be a Chipotle built there. Otherwise, if you've been to one Chipotle, you've been to them all. I'm much more a Willy's fan over all the other burrito joints, and I think Chipotle hides their inflated prices behind a wall of health claims, and actually make people pay for chips. But I like to pretend like I'm a gentleman and I end up going to Chipotle more than I'd like to because my friends keep favoring it. I'd rather have gone to the Barberito's across the street because their sign is an unapologetic rip-off of Willy's identity, and I heard their menu was too, but que sera, sera. It's not terrible food, but the steak there is always too tough and/or gristle-ey for my preference. The Alpharetta location was no different in almost all other aspects to any other Atlanta-area Chipotle, except the ingredients weren't as expediently stocked as the others, leading to my burrito getting filled with the burnt rice and soaked beans at the bottom of the bins. Not to mention the person rolling my burrito let it burst, and thinking nobody was watching, rolled it up into the foil anyway. It's a clean facility, and I wouldn't discourage people from going there. If you're going for a sissy burrito bowl, you won't run into any problems likely. But I like my burritos in an intact tortilla, and I get tired of self-important AlphaRoswell yuppies almost hitting me in the parking lot every time, so I can't say I'd bother coming back again.

I don't usually give fives, but as far as I'm concerned, "woohoo! this is as good as it gets" when it comes to fresh (what I would call) Mexican food. I know it's technically "California style burritos" or whatever (hippies!), but I just think it's darn good. I almost always get the burrito bowl, black beans/white rice, barbacoa, green tomatillo salsa with cheese and sour cream. If I'm being especially "fatty", I'll get guac on top and a bag of chips, then mix everything up and use the burrito bowl as "dip" for my chips (happy as a fat kid eating...Chipotle). This sounds odd, but even the chips are delish--you can tell they lightly sprinkle them with lime or lemon juice before or after frying, and then dust them with kosher salt (my favorite, as it is flakey and "tangible", unlike table salt that just falls to the bottom of the bag). If you like the taste of cilantro, you'll love Chipotle. Practically everything has cilantro in it (cha cha cha!). The barbacoa is mildly spicy. The pork is mild, and the steak and chicken are both a little spicier than the barbacoa, but not anything to make you blow fire out your ears.
(5)Greg J.
Best food quality of the burrito joints; inflated prices, very fresh. Guac is worth the trip, though. If their proteins were grass fed (like Moes' steak), I'd be thrilled. If you attempt a lunchtime trip, be prepared to wait in line for twenty minutes or more.

My husband and I are absolute Chipotle addicts, and after years of experimentation, we have come to the conclusion that this is the best Chipotle in the North Fulton area. It beats the one on Windward, the one at the Forum, the one in Johns Creek/Suwanee, and the one at Perimeter. Why? Please allow me to explain. (1) The line always seems to move at a reasonable pace, and it's not because the folks behind the counter are just slopping the food into a tortilla or bowl without minding the portions. No, this location is definitely generous on the helpings. My go-to order is a burrito bowl, and I've been sadly disappointed at other locations to receive barely a spoonful of rice and a small dollop of guacamole, especially when the latter costs extra. But I have NEVER had that problem at this location. So, speedy service with great portions. (2) There is ample seating. Some locations (the one at the Forum and the one at Perimeter) seem to have limited seating. Not so at this location. Between the inside and large outdoor area, I've never had an issue finding a table. And while the parking situation is not ideal, there's certainly not a lack of available spots if you park in the spaces that aren't right against the building. This Chipotle is located next to a largely vacant strip mall, so it's not like there aren't spaces nearby. (3) The ingredients seem to always be fresh and cooked perfectly. I've been to a few Chipotles where the chicken contained gristle or was either over or under seasoned. Never had that problem here. The rice is always good. The vegetables aren't overcooked. The salsa is fresh. And I've never received brown-tinged guacamole. To sum it up, when a burrito craving hits, this is my Chipotle of choice.

Recipe for the most deliciously mouthwatering burrito you've ever tasted: Flour tortilla Cilantro rice Pinto beans Barbacoa Mild (pico de gallo) Medium salsa Hot salsa Lettuce Cheese Light sour cream (optional) If you choose these ingredients exactly, you'll never crave anything else. Disclaimer: only for people who don't mind a little heat.

Chipotle is a mission style burrito place where the line is always out the door. The food is pretty good - organic, although I don't really care about that - with options for burritos, tacos, or bowls, 5 different proteins, and a few toppings you can add. The place is always clean, well decorated, and has friendly staff and plenty of seating. There's extra hot sauces from McIlhenny's (red, green, smoked), which is a nice addition. The food is really tasty, which explains the line out the door There are really only a few problems I've had here. One is that the food is pretty pricey for a burrito place. Every other place I've been gives you free chips and salsa with your burrito, but if you want that here it's an extra two bucks. Nickel and diming your customers never makes me happy. The other is that you better like what they have because that's what you're getting. My wife doesn't like cilantro, which means there's no rice for her. Same with some of their other offerings (and they lack cheese dip. Pretty odd to me). Last, and this has only happened once, but when I went today I found a bone in my burrito. I know this is rare, and it's impossible to be 100% perfect, especially for a big chain, but it was offputting to me.
(3)Royal M.
The wife loves Chipotle, so I love Chipolte. :) Consistency - that is what i think of with Chipolte. I get the same quality with every order. it isn't good one time and bad the next. i also consider it to be "high class fast food." you're treated a step above what I expect in fast food, and the restaurant is always clean. Plus, I love a Mexican food place that serves Tabasco!!!!
(4)Amrita R.
I'm not a huge fan of Mexican food but this place is good. And it beats Moe's any day. The ingredients are always fresh, the guacamole is to die for, and their soft tacos are heavenly. BUT the portion size is huge and be careful because they average over 1000 calories a meal. Suggestion: Try the burrito bowl with a bag of their lime tortilla chips and eat it like dip.
(5)Prasanna B.
The best Chippy every. The portions of rice and beans and veggies are very large and they dont mind serving you a lot either. I just love this chippy, dont mind riving 10 miles from my house.
(5)Xiaoshan Z.
The location is really close to my office. So yay I can have Chipotle pretty much whenever I want to. Food is good as usual (cuz it's Chipotle). I love their burritos. The waiting is really really really long...
(4)Lee C.
There is one certain guarantee.....that I will eat Chipotle at least once a week. The place is clean, quick, and above average for food. This place is really busy for lunch, I try to get in after 2pm on days that I get a late one. Dinner is pretty well balanced, but nothing makes me feel better than beating the crowd. The food is always fresh, hot, and tasty. My pick: Burrito bowl with rice, black beans, double chicken, onions and peppers, medium salsa, lettuce, light cheese and light sour cream....PERFECT every time. They serve a few beers, a few bottled soft beverages, and if I am not mistaken, I saw margaritas....I don't like to drink here, the food is what I go for! After you get your food, you go to this self service station. Teas, utensils, condiments, etc are all here. It is kept tidy, but everything is out in the open, so you don't have to ask for anything. The layout is friendly and they have different styles of tables, booths, bar chairs, to sit at. High top or low, you will be pretty comfortable. Also, if you have an iPhone, you can get the free app for them. BONUS: you can order from it, pick the time you want to pick up, and viola, in and out in no time. This is a great app, it saves your last meal, in case you want to order the same way....too cool. 2 thumbs up to Chipotle!
(4)shoel s.
Sucked big time .. Real dirty inside . Lady charged me for salsa and i paid for it . When the order came out she didn't give me the salsa because i didn't pay for it . I showed her the receipt and was a idiot herself . Burritos sucked .. No flavor !!
(2)Cove C.
I love Chipotle. This location however likes to waste food and get orders wrong.
(3)Melissa W.
I'm a regular at this location. Some of the employee know my face. Food always has a good quality. Everything is very fresh. The reason they only received 2 stars wasn't b/c of anything Chipotle did. This location has their utensils in a self serve area. Little kids come up and grab spoons, forks, knives, & etc. I've seen them touch the part that goes in the mouth, drop on the floor, and put in their own mouth then stick it back in the bin. I was disgusted. Then wonder were had my fork been before I ate with it. Long story short the kids (especially small ones) should not be left unattended. i blame 25% parents and 75% Chipotle. Please, either keep the forks in the back and let the customers ask for one or order the kind that come covered in plastic. The thing about me is I'm not just going to complain, I'm going to try and come up with a solution.

I love taco and burritos bars. And Chipotle has fresh and tasty meats and other ingredients. Unfortunately it costs more than other similar places like Moe's, Willie's, and Barberrito's. Alright, normally I don't do this, review a chain restaurant. But I love Chipotle so much, that I thought it needed to be said. Besides, it's a smaller chain, and maybe some of you come from places where there is no Chipotle. Or maybe you needed a green place to eat. So there, is that enough excuses for me to write a review? As far as Chipotle's go, this is a relatively new one. It is kept very clean, and the location is nice if you are hanging out at the coffee shop next door need to go to CD Warehouse once a week. The employees are courteous and quick. If it is slow, they have been friendly I suppose, but usually I am looking to be in and out of there, staying only long enough to say please and thank you. And they always have copies of Creative Loafing, so if you want to read some ads while you eat, there it is. Those were all of my specific comments on this Chipotle location. If you are unfamiliar with the chain, then the next time you need a fast lunch, go there. And have some guacomole. It actually rivals some of the stuff I have at "good" mexican restaurants.
(4)Amy V.
Who knew Mexican could be so good! Not that the old stand-by isn't okay, but this beats it all. I can't believe that it is a sister company of McDonalds! Fresh ingredients: as many as they can are local and/or organic. They cook it right in front of you and you see all that they are doing. I am not a huge fan of spicy foods, so I stick with the carnitas, but I have heard if you do like spicy, the steak is the way to go. Their fresh guac and sweet tea are amazing. This a weekly stop for me and they know me by face, if not by name.

I've found Chipotle to be a great place for a quick, consistently good meal. I'm vegan, and they have a specific set of options that support my choices. I highly recommend the veggie burrito, black beans (pinto beans have meat), with fajita peppers/onions. Make your own choices for salsa. Two tips - if you like it really spicy, ask if they have fresh jalapeno - they have to prepare it for one of the salsas, and can be a nice extra kick. Also, if you order the veggie burrito you can order the guacamole on the side, and just get chips - a nice option if you know how to get it!
