We ordered the lemon pepper wings, beef fried rice, vegetable fried rice, chicken fried rice, and a few appetizers. It was delivered in a very timely way with exceptional friendliness. I was shocked at how fast they were & the food was delicious!

Absolutely terrible. At 520 on friday I ordered vegetable pad thai and chicken on a stick using eat24. Estimated delivery was 50 min it arrived at 645, not only was is chicken pad thai instead of vegtable, but there was no sauce just white noodles, ao i called she apologized and said the "chef was busy" so she put the phone down and spoke with some lady and came back and said she would send me right out another order, 15 min later she calles back and said it would be awhile, see my food was done but their drivers where out, and i could eaither wait or they could issue me a credit for their restaurant. I was hungry for pad thai...which is why i ordered it so i decided to wait, its 820 and i have yet to recive my food. UPDATE: at 830, I called the restaurant and asked for my money back, she proceeded to tell me the "owner was on a business trip" Surely he has a cell phone or left someone competent in charge, "he's in china and theres nobody here just us your food is on its way" every time I would say something she would just say "yes but we are really busy" That is absolutely no excuse for it taking 3 plus hours. She then put some other lady on the phone who proceeded to tell me, "your tip no good none driver want to go back" FIRST OF ALL, I LEFT A 3.50$ TIP ON A 17$ BILL I REFUSE TO LEAVE A DELIVERY DRIVER A TIP LIKE I WOULD AT A RESTRAUNT. I DONT EVEN GO BY MY BILL, THATS MY FLAT RATE FOR DELIVERY. AND ITS NOT EVEN MY FAULT THEY HAVE TO DRIVE BACK HERE! I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER HERE AGAIN.

Had delivery using eat24, that went perfect. Egg Drop soup were tasty standard Chinese restaurant stuff. The moo shoo pork was delicious. Crisp veggies, tender pork, very flavorful. My only complaint is that they sent flour tortillas instead of rice pancakes. Yummy dinner at home without me having to cook, I'll order from them again soon.

Tried for the first time tonight on the go after work! The sushi was the absolute best I've ever had for my money. The Shrimp Tempura rolls were sinful. The place was way cleaner and trendier than expected. They were super sweet and prompt. And many came in that you could tell were regulars. I will definitely be returning!

I live very close by to this place. It's hard to find a good Asian food restaurant that delivers. I've always had great and timely service from these guys. And the food is always good!

Excellent food and service. Great sushi menu. Generous portions. This will be a go-to choice for us. Surprised by all of the negative reviews. Our take out has also been good and teady quickly. Maybe these are really old reviews?

Do not eat here. My wife told me not to...but I ordered anyways. Had the hot sour soup, beef Mongolian. Experiencing a major stomach melt down now. Should have listened to my wife. When will I learn?

It was ok. Not the best Chinese ever. Took about 45 minutes to get it delivered less than a mile away. Had General Tso chicken, and the chicken was almost entirely fat & breading. The rice tasted fine, as did the egg roll, but I wasn't impressed with the crab Rangoon at all. Very little filling, and the wantons were way over fried... Almost burnt. My quest for decent Chinese in Atlanta continues.

Like Cindy B., my boyfriend and I came here because we had a restaurant.com coupon. They are tucked away in the far back corner of a shopping center, and because they did not clarify that it was called Asian Star, we had a bit of a difficulty finding the restaurant. They "specialize" in Thai, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine, and on their menu, it stated that they are one of the "best". We walked in, it was absolutely empty. Not a single customer. Should of taken that to be the first sign that something was not right. We ordered a spicy tuna roll, volcano roll, salmon skin roll, baked salmon roll, spider roll, seaweed salad, and spicy tom yum soup. Food was mediocre. The spider roll was $9 and it was puny! Definitely better portion sizing for the money, elsewhere. The tom yum soup was not up to par as say, Thai Norcross. It was quite difficult for me to want to finish the soup, since to me, that is not what tom yum soup is/was suppose to taste like. The seaweed salad was good, however, it seems like it was just store bought. Definitely do not waste money going here. DEFINITELY not worth it!

My husband and I use the yelp app to order pick up and delivery every once in awhile and they are always great. The owners always have a smile on their face and delivery is in a timely fashion. Is it the best chinese food I've had. No. But it is definitely worth the price and they are always consistent.

This is a good restaurant in an unfortunate location. I live five minutes away, and never noticed them. As other posters commented, the restaurant is virtually empty, perhaps because the place isn't visible from the street. We started with the special soup, which was filled with chicken, beef and shrimp, but surprisingly lacked distinct flavor. The double cooked pork was very good: lean and flavorful. (It's a dish I'm wary of, since all too often the pork is fatty. Not so here!) Mixed vegetables were okay -- though could have been jazzed up with bok choy and other Asian veggies. There was an overload of brocolli. Our favorite dish was Geneal Tso's shrimp, which I'd indeed recommend. All in all, this is a good neighorhood restaurant. Since I now know it's there, we'll return but I'll base my choices on others' recommendations.

We ordered delivery which took over an hour. I had Basil Chicken which was pretty horrible - the chicken seemed like cheap cuts of meat, I literally ate 3 bites. My daughter had steamed dumplings which were ok. Not sure I would give it another try.

The WORST Asian food ever! Soup was watery...the vegetables in the soup were from a bag of frozen peas & carrots AND some canned peas. Fried wontons were over-breaded, greasy & soggy. Meat was almost non-existent & vegetables were disgusting. Seems nothing is fresh here. And the delivery guy begged for another dollar for a tip. I gave most of it to my dog...who was honestly reluctant to eat it.

Just ordered off Yelp and it was perfect. Took about 40 min. The food was very good. I ordered the Hunan Triple with special instructions and it was spot on. There was quite a bit of meat there. Enough for 2 servings. Wife ordered Chicken Lo Mein. Liked it a good bit. Gave it a chance and they pulled through. We will order again.

I will definitely go back to this restaurant. The staff was super friendly, the food was good, and the menu was extensive. I particularly enjoyed the crab rangoons. My chicken pad thai was pretty good too.

I ordered delivery at 5:55pm. then we waited and waited and waited... I called after an hour and the lady said the driver was on the way already. Other reviews are right, they do not speak good english at all. So we hung up and 10 minutes later a man calls asking me my address. He said the ticket says pick up and basically says I never asked for delivery. So He says he will bring it right away. I asked him how long my food has been ready and he says yes its ready. 20 minutes later he shows up. Food is stone cold. The egg rolls are soft and rubbery. To top it off it was expensive and the food was terrible. The part I am sure I will laugh at some day is the fact the owner delivers the food and I wrote a check for the exact amount. Suddenly his english was pretty damn good when he had the audacity to tell me I forgot to tip him. I said yeah its over an hour late. He said yeah but you need to tip me. Ummmm... no

Delicious lemon pepper wings appetizer. I would go back just for that. The crab rangoons were also good as well, and the staff was very nice.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
