The ladies behind the counter are always friendly and very prompt. Sometimes in the summer there's a line for the gelato, but they are always working hard to get everyone taken care of as quickly as possible. Their brownies, cupcakes, and gelato are all delicious!

I just realized I had not written a review for this wonderful bakery. Any time I'm in Rome I have to stop here. It has yummy cakes, cupcakes, pastries, gelato, cookies and muffins. I go in for a cream horn.., as they are my all time favorite pastry... but usually end up with a box of goodies. Everything I've tried has been great. Today I'm having a blueberry biscuit. I'm earlier than usual and they serve biscuits before 11:00. They are huge, I'm taking half home with me.

Literally everything here is amazing! I had a cupcake, it was $3 but I ate it over the course of 2 days you definitely can't eat a whole one at once! Try the cheese straws they are amazing!

I was visiting a friend and she said that this was a must while I was there and she was so right. The gelato was super good and there were sooo many pastries and treats to choose from! I ended up with gelato, a cupcake, and a lemon square and they were oh so good. Definitely coming back when I get the chance!

I ordered a cake for a reunion, which was pretty, but had too much icing and filling, and the cake tasted like it was baked last week. A piece of plastic was left in the cake as well, not cool! I tried again with a mounds, rum ball, and a ginger snap. The cookie was awesome! The rum ball had no rum, and the mounds was an inch of thick chocolate over a glob of coconut....the candy bar is actually better.

Ran in here after being oh-so-disappointed with my lunch at a restaurant down the street. Also adorable inside...a few tables and chairs...friendly, but not over the top, service. I can only comment on the one thing I got...an Italian cream, large cupcake with pecans and coconut sprinkled on top. It was $3+ but was totally worth it. The cake was heavy and dense, liberally dosed with pecans. Now usually you dont want a heavy, dense cupcake, but that is exactly how an Italian cream cake should be! Had a good proportion of cake to frosting. All in all the perfect end to a disappointing lunch at the other place!

Small coffee shop and bakery tucked away on Broad St. While driving around, I was looking for something with a little local flair, and this shop offers just that. Friendly service, luscious looking desserts and a small offering of breakfast and lunch items, I believe. I noticed a few signs for breakfast offerings, but did not see a full menu. Pre-wrapped sandwiches and salads in the cooler with bottled water and beverages. The cupcake selection offered a few flavors and two sizes: Huge and Mini Me - if you're looking for a sweet treat that is bite sized!

I have been here a hundred times and I have never left without a smile on my face. They have the best cheesecake and you get a very large portion for a good price. They made my daughters first birthday cake and it was better than anticipated. I can't speak highly enough for this place. I wish I worked there or lived nearby so I could eat there everyday. Parking may be hard to find sometimes.

Lately I've been a bit mopey because my recent pastry experiences have been lacking in flavor. Not bad, mind you, just 'meh'. So find me surprised that an impromptu stop at this bakery totally changed my run of luck! It's small, a bit unassuming but totally packed on the night we were there. Good sign and good stuffs. We had a lemon bar, a fruit tart and a cannoli. The lemon bar was tart, not too sweet and possessed a really good shortbread style crust. The fruit tart was excellent! Real homemade pastry cream, fruit ripe and that shortbread crust again. Cannoli = good. Crispy and creamy. We told ourselves we'd only eat a few bites of each and would save the rest for the next day but, nah, we were only kidding ourselves. We gobbled them down with wine in our hotel room while watching a John Carpenter flick (The Fog). It was a sweet end to a weary day of traveling! I will say that you do need to be ready to order at the counter because it does get chaotic when there are lots of folks there. We didn't branch out to try anything besides our ol' standby favorites (the 3 we chose) because we didn't want to hold anyone up or wait a long time by passing our turn. Prices are extremely reasonable. Service was friendly considering how busy they were. Check out the armadillo groom's cake replica they have. A nice nod to Steel Magnolia tomfoolery.

Honeymoon Bakery, located next to Harvest Moon Cafe (they share a door on the inside), is the quintessential downtown bakery. You'll always find standards like eclairs, cookies, and tarts. I can personally vouch for the eclairs and cream puffs, both of which have generous amounts of cream wrapped up in positively delicious, fresh pastries. I am a fan of their miniature cupcakes, which allow you to try a couple of flavors when you're not in the mood to commit. Today's flavor of the day was a banana cupcake - banana bread cake, banana and caramel frosting, and a sweet banana chip on top. My inner monkey is swinging from the trees today. In the summer, check out their gelato case. They also have a few brownies every day in flavors like turtle, peanut butter, and s'more. The place is solid, but missing a couple of bakery favorites like fudge, divinity, and homemade doughnuts.

What a great experience with this Bakery. I recently called this bakery to order 2 dozen cupcakes for my Husbands birthday while he is filming is Rome Georgia - as I explained to the young lady on the phone, that we are from California and my husband is there filming and I wanted to do something to surprise him. The difficult part was finding a bakery in the area that delivered. Blair mentioned it wasn't something they normally do. Blair placed me on a hold came back and to my surprise was able to confirm that they would be more than happy to deliver them to the production office. Blair and Katie, you BOTH are amazing! THANK YOU! Everything was perfect, delivered on time and my husband and the production office LOVED the cupcakes. Thank you so much! XOXO Katie W

This cute little bakery saved our night after an overpriced and uninspiring meal on the square. We ordered cannoli and chocolate torte and both were amazing. We enjoyed a cup of locally roasted coffee which was pretty tasty. I decided I must come back to sample some of the gelato which looked heavenly, and I was also impressed to see many gluten free options available.

I've only been here once, with my family, but we all had a good time. Here's what I like: - It's in a neat section of downtown Rome. We'd just finished up at Mellow Mushroom and decided to walk over. - It's well lighted and roomy inside. They resisted the urge to fill every square foot with tables and chairs. Thank you, Honey Moon peeps. - I had some black-berry sorbet that was amazingly incredible. It seemed like it was at least 50% smashed up berries, just exploding with genuine blackberry flavor, seeds and all. LOVED it. - Each of my kids and my lovely wife found a flavor of ice cream that they liked. - The young folks working there were attentive and respectful, as if they enjoyed working there. I can't wait to get back to Rome and try this place again. It may earn one of my rare 5-Star Reviews, but I'll have to try a few more things.

This is probably my fave bakery in Rome, and it's right on Broad street, so it's convenient too. They make some really AMAZING looking cakes and pastries here; once they made a cake shaped like an iphone! My favorite thing to get here is the gelato though, hands down.
