Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Service - Walk in, Sign says Please Wait To Be Seated. Ok they're not busy, but I should have brought a chair with me. The Host: How many? Me: 1. The Host: 1? Me: Yes 1. I am the only person on my group to show up. The Host: Will the others be joining you? Me: No, they will be eating somewhere else. The Host: Booth or table? Me: Table please The Host: Will this be enough seats (Takes me to a table that seats 8 people.) Me: Maybe the booth by the window will be fine. Choices - the standard Tex-Mex fare Food - Ground beef is grainy, beans ran all over the plate, rice was gooey, chile relleno, had thick rib and wasn't trimmed, also over cooked to a pulp Speed - SLO Possibility of returning - nah, too many other choices nearby. Cleanliness - seemed clean Parking - small lot shared with a pharmacy, spaces so close together you'll need a can opener to get out of your vehicle Atmosphere - boring, and beware, most of the booth seats are repaired with duct tape - you will get glue on your bottoms Restrooms - it was clean, but took forever to get hot water at the sink

Fast, courteous service, good food, great prices. Very nice ambiance in the dining area and, so far, Vape Friendly! That's a winning combination for me! I had a very pleasant experience.

Cannot recommend this place. Please go to Salsarita's or Moes Southwest Grill or Abuelo's or a Chipotle or Plaza del Sol, or most anywhere else in town. After years of patronage, we had a most horrible experience that left the children in tears and the adults stunned to silence. Neither we, nor anyone in our family, nor any of our close friends will ever darken their door again. Any business which will treat children with such cruelty should be shunned. It's a shame, as we had formerly enjoyed years of business there, but those in ownership were unconcerned with their business' behavior. There are too many better choices in town!

All ye folks coming from ATL to Chattanooga with a stop at the Chickamauga Battlefield need to come here for lunch. We are glad we found this clean, affordable, most flavorful, Mexican restaurant. I am pretty sure its a rather new restaurant. The place is clean, service is great, the food is fresh and delicioso. I had their lunch special, .. the breakfast burrito. A large burrito with scrambled eggs and sausage. Served with beans and rice. The also brought out some chips and salsa and the salsa is FANTASTIC and made fresh. It was tomatoey, cilantroey heaven. If I was heading up to Chattanooga again, I will be sure to stop here for food again.

This place is awesome!! We stop by each time we drive from Michigan to Florida. Queso and chips rock, and the service is very good. Highly recommend you try the burrito gigante !

Great place to eat. Can be crowded on Friday or Saturday but our service has always been fast and accurate. Love their beef tacos.

This place is usually decent. Not our favorite in the area but still good. My biggest issue is the salsa tastes like canned crushed tomatoes with a tiny bit of slices. The food is good, normal Mexican fare.
