Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

To those considering Chinese in Flowery Branch I caution you when attempting Wang's. I have newly moved to the area and was in need of a convenient place to grab my favorite take out option. I have tried several in the area now but felt strongly enough about my disfavor with this place that I will make note for you. I read the other reviews without noting that the dates for them are well in the past. Perhaps back then the food was different. As of several weeks ago however I can only tell you terming the food bland would be an understatement. We ordered the Sesame Chicken, Pork Egg Food Young and Fried rice. The chicken was rubbery and soggy and the sauce was absolutely tasteless, The sweet sauce was bland, tasteless in fact, anything but the sweet thick brown sauce to which I am accustomed to receiving at other establishments. I could not even eat more than a small helping as it was chewy and lacked any seasoning at all. The Rice was much the same, I have had plain white jasmine rice with more flavor, don't look for vegetables or egg in your fried rice here either, there was nothing but rice that was simply not white. The Pork Egg Foo young was similarly without any flavor and was difficult to consume. We did not eat in so I cannot comment on any service. The price was less than I have paid at other places in the area, but with the aweful lack of flavor I would not deem it a value. It was the first time ever I honestly could not force myself to even eat the leftovers. May their future improve, but I personally will look elsewhere for my meals.

Ask for no MSG if you don't want. Other than that, it's a typical Chinese Restaurant. The Thai spice options are my favorite.

A nice place, but with it being managed by two white people instead of Asians ... it gave me a moment's pause. The menu looks great, but they don't follow their own menu. Jong Bond noode soup, should be almost nuclear hot with spices ... yet my nose didn't even run ... bland. Same thing with Orange Beef ... should be spicy and sweet ... my favorite combination. Instead it was cloying and soft, not crispy. Daughter had Pork and vegetables, wife had chicken and vegetables, both, uncharacteristically had leftovers ... if leftovers do exist, they are usually lunch the next day. In fact, I usually get a Lo Main to go, just for the next day's lunch. All three are still sitting in the refrigerator, three days later. What does that tell you? The food was good, but uninspired. I think I'll go back to Chef Wang's in Gainesville.

I am absolutely a fan! I live right behind the restaurant and consider myself to be extremely lucky to have such an amazing restaurant so close. Their food is fresh and tastes different from other American style Chinese restaurants, and the way they place the food is impeccable! Their dishes are so pretty. They also deliver (FAST)

This is the most delicious restaurant in all of hall county. I tell all my friends about how good this place is. I come here so much, they know my order when I walk in. I LOVE IT

A pleasant local spot with a varied menu. Staff is friendly and efficient.

Absolutely stellar food! This is, by far, my favorite Chinese restaurant ANYWHERE! We just ate there for the first time, and now I do not want to eat at any other Chinese place. It's just that good. We had the teriyaki beef and pan fried potstickers to start. Both were perfect. Wonton soup was delicious. My General Tso's Chicken had the perfect flavor and spice balance and the sauce was thick enough not to make the fried chicken mushy. My husband's beef with broccoli was super tender and had amazing flavor. Service was friendly and very fast. We will be back for sure!

We loved wangs!! We've recently moved and haven't found anything even remotely as good as wangs! We ate there weekly. I tried majority of their entrees and was never disappointed. Great prices and awesome portions.

We get delivery from here at least once a week! They are super fast and food is amazing!

This is shockingly good Chinese food for the middle of nowhere! Both dishes we sampled, the house special soup and the combination lettuce wraps, are ones I would happily order again. The soup was a thick broth, loaded with egg-white drop noodles, white meat chicken, giant shrimp, and plenty of carrots and snow pea pods. The large portion was enough for about four small bowls (or two big bowls) so it's perfect to split. I've also got to note the fantastic fried wonton strips. While these golden dough pieces are usually unremarkable at most places, these were fresh, crispy, and slightly warm -fantastic! While maybe not entirely authentic, the lettuce wraps were way better than what you might find at a certain well known national chain. The flavor was fantastic and the portion was generous. Next time, I'll ask for more lettuce, as there was probably enough for six decent sized rolls out of just one portion. The plate was beautifully garnished, and we were presented with a bevy of sauces to add to our wraps. Couple this with fantastic service, low prices, and a beautiful and clean interior, and you can bet this will be on my list for a repeat visit the next time I'm in the poultry capitol of Georgia.

The employees are fantastic and the food is phenomenal! We eat there no less than twice a month. Mrs. Sue is always willing to help out with my wife's special dietary needs at no extra charge whether we dine in, carry out or have it delivered. Their delivery drivers are always nice as are the wait staff and everyone else that works there. No matter how busy it is, when we dine in we feel as if we are the only people there, even when we've come with large groups. Love this place!

I can't say enough good things about this location nor the family who own it. I have been a fan of this establishment for years. It's not only the food that is great but the friendly atmosphere that comes with any great restaurant. Delivery might be a little on the pricey side but from my experience it's better just going and sitting down to eat. Sundays are a little hectic right after 12p and they're not open on Monday's. This is definitely a place to go for awesome Chinese food.

What kind of fool orders red curry tofu in strip mall in Hall County Ga, you ask? This one. This gal, whose still not used to living in the South. This New Yorker turned Chicagoian who now finds herself in the country world of rural Georgia. Y'all. It was just bad. Poorly cooked, beyond bland (despite being rated as "spicy"). Just gross. I ate about 3 bites. The veggie egg roll was good as were the crispy noodles. The service, while far from spectacular, was quite adequate.

This place is hands down the best I've ever had (and I've had a lot ). It's not a fancy restaurant although it is quite nice and very clean inside that's a BIG deal for me when it comes to my food choices especially Chinese food. The staff is always friendly and quick to assist you. The food is unparalleled in all of hall county. I eat from there almost weekly dine in, carry out, or delivery its all good. I like that the owner is there most of the time and treats us like family. I have recommended it to several people and they all agree this place rocks.

Wangs food is very good. Great flavor, temperature, and service. There are a few things to know though. From my experience, the food is best when dining in. Take out is usually very good, but not quite as good as dine in. I've only gotten Wangs delivered once or twice, and the food was, while good, just not the same. Because of their close location to my house and these experiences, I've dined in or carried out since. Lately, carry out had gotten better than it was before. It's close to dine in but can't be quite as good because they have to put dishes in a carry out dish, which does allow broccoli to mix with chicken (for example) and the like. I commonly get two Chinese classics- mu shu and sesame chicken. Their dumplings are good as well as the Mongolian beef/chicken. My mother and father have gotten a larger array of thing and reviewed favorably. General tso's is also great. Service is good, but better as a regular. The service usually is fairly quick, but not as quick compared to most Chinese restraunts, but the staff is pleasant. There's a very nice lady with short hair (who I believe owns the place) who greets regulars cheerily and asks how you're doing. This is nice that she remembers people, especially because we're not like weekly regulars or anything. Maybe get Chinese food once or so a month. One time, my mother had forgotten her purse at home after arriving to pay for $40-60 worth of food. The lady, recognizing us, said it was fine and that we could just pay the difference next time. Regardless, my mother insisted to pay over the phone with her credit card once we got home, but either way, it was exceptionally kind of her. Overall, I like Wangs a lot. I've never really experienced any of the complaints that other reviews have listed (especially the flavorless one. Maybe they want overseasoned food?). The only thing I've noticed is that they are a little slower than most Chinese restaraunts, especially when receiving a much bigger traffic flow than they usually do. I have and would like to continue eating here for years.

This is the best chinese food north of the Perimeter. I eat here at least once a month and I like everything I've tried. Their beef actually tastes like beef and not dog.

An entirely reasonable chinese take-out place. Just be sure to ask for a fork and knife - I drove all the way back to the office and realized that I had nothing to eat my sesame chicken with! Wang's appears to be a bit of a local institution around the Oakwood/Gainesville area, and with pretty good reason. The service is cheerful, the food is pretty good, and it's ready and waiting for you by the time you get there. If you're out this way and jonesing for some Sesame Chicken, you could do a whole lot worse.

My boyfriend and I dined in on a Tuesday evening. After passing Wang's everyday, I finally decided to check it out. We were greeted promptly at the door and seeing as it was pouring down rain outside, I was happy that it was warm and cozy inside. We sat in a booth along the wall. We were about 1 of 4 parties at the time we sat down. Throughout our meal, they became increasingly busy. We were given Wonton strips as soon as we sat down and greeted by our server right away. Their menus are put together nicely. We just drank water so I'm not sure if alcoholic beverages are available. I ordered the Spicy Curry Tofu soup (Veg) - although it only came in the "large" portion, I couldn't resist. Three people could have easily shared this soup and there still be leftover. I also ordered the Vegetable Lo Mein although I knew it would be entirely too much food - but I would have lunch for the next day. My boyfriend got the General Tso Chicken and he swore up and down it was the best that he has ever eaten! He absolutely loved it he couldn't resist but to clean his plate! Since the soup was such a large portion for just me, I asked my server if I could take it to go - wanting to avoid a mess at the table, I asked her if she could put it together for me. Mistakingly she thought I said I wanted my meal to go, so while my boyfriend's meal came out on a plate, mine came in a togo box/bag. She then brought me a plate. So that was a little strange, but it's ok I didn't mind. We'll check it out again!

The absolute best General Tso Chicken I've ever had. We get take out or delivery at least once every couple of weeks. The food is great - the prices are reasonable. We have only eaten inside the restaurant once - and from my experience - it seems like the take out is better. I have no idea how that could be - possibly just that particular day maybe they were off their game somewhat. I highly recommend Wangs.

Wang's is good food and a clean place. The restaurant never has many people in it when we go and the service is always good. The sesame chicken is top notch but anything that's should be spicy is not nearly has hot as I like it. For what it is it's good.

Im skeptical of just about everything around this area and this was a nice suprise. We were the only ones in the place but the service was great and the food was good. I really liked how they give you the wonton chips like a mexi restaurant gives you chips and salsa. I will be back.

Susan has been making me Chinese Food for over a decade now. Why risk bad food? Wang's is the best in the area by far.
