Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Popped in here in honor of Cinco de Mayo and was overwhelmed with its authenticity and palate-pleasing sensations. Can't miss here if you want authentic Mexican cuisine. Try the rellenos!

Enchiladas Supremas $12.99 that are in no way supreme! These "enchiladas" were made from mini tortillas folded in half with some cheese in the middle. More like a mini quesadilla. They had green tomatillo sause on the spinkled with crumbled white, most likely cotija cheese. I realize there are many ways to do enchiladas, but personally I wouldn't even call these enchiladas. If given a choice I like them rolled, with red sauce, with melted cheese. Good ones are next to impossible to find in Atlanta. I have lived in 2 of the 4 border states and its much easier to find good ones there. Also just before going I bought a restaurant.com certificate and that was refused. Bill before tip $16.29 for one lunch and they refused a $5 coupon on that! Poor quality enchiladas and then this, they earn one star! I realize some of these coupon deal places may not turn out to be as much as they promise but the restaurant should not put the customer in the middle. They can get themselves off that list and I told the lady she should do that. If they do that, the coupons bought but not yet used in our accounts disappear and are available for an exchange immediately. Some of the pictures of the other food looked good, but I can only rate on what I had.

Best Mexican I've had in a while!! On the busy road of Jimmy Carter in Norcross this place can be easily overlooked for it's in a quaint location but the food is so worth it. The area inside is good enough for a small gathering of folks, the sitting is adequate to support a few people. It's never really busy probably because no one but a few have discovered this jewel. This is very authentic Mexican food no Americanism here just good Mexican the way it should be. They have a full bar with a serving of tasty margaritas, they are not that strong but they have some inventive flavors. The service is Ok. I can tell it's primarily people who speak Spanish that come here the menu is in Spanish and I enjoy mispronouncing mostly everything. Despite the authenticity of the food they are very great waitresses there that are patient and helpful. There are TVs there that play Univision and news. The food is terrific that's mildly putting it, the flavor the presentation is outstanding. My husband and I always share the mocaljeto which is an assortment of rice, steak, shrimp, cheese, tomato and a cactus leaf cooked to perfection in a lava bowl. It's heaven. Try it that's all I can say.

Very fresh Mexican, large portions and friendly service. My wife and I went for lunch today and had a very nice meal. We will go back. The only negative thing I can say was the music was just a little to loud, but not so loud that we couldn't talk.
