Finally some melted cheese on my fries! Love the dogs but don't love the poppy seeds on the buns. I pretty much go here for the cheese fries. Yum! Order at the counter, grab yourself a table and the hot dog man will bring it to your table when it's ready. Both times I ate here there were only 3-4 people that came through the doors for some grub.

Best Italian beef I've had in Atlanta. My boyfriend got the Italian sausage wrapped in beef and OMG, mouthgasm. We just left, and I am wicked full. It's casual and fun inside, and the owners are super nice. Will definitely eat here often. Hoping they open a food truck, because this would kill it at GA tech.

I got my "Dog Days of Summer" email from Yelp today and now I've got hot dogs on the mind. I hate to give Dog Days the same rating as the Thorn Tree right next to it, because they are not on the same level. But use the star rating to compare against similar restaurants and you will be okay. Here's a couple tips: always go with the regular and never the small, and always get onion rings or tots for a side and not the fries. The onion rings are fantastic. There are a copious number of hot dog options to choose from. I have tried a different dog every time, and I have never been disappointed. Not even when I go outside my comfort zone. I don't like cole slaw or sauerkraut, but I've had dogs with both of those and they were delicious. The other people with me have tried dogs that I have not, and they have not been disappointed either. There is also a build-your-own dog option with lots of toppings to choose from on a cost per topping basis. Now I guess it is a bit pricey for a hot dog place, but I don't know if I have ever been to a Chicago dog establishment that was cheap enough for me. And a big dog loaded with goodies and complemented by a basket of tots and an ice cold root beer usually hits the spot. There really should be a combo meal option rather than just a la carte, but you could do worse for a nine dollar lunch. I have never had a problem with customer service. Maybe they fired the guy that gave Daniel T. problems. Update: Ate there again today but too soon to update...tried another delish dog, forgot to mention the homemade potato chips which are another good side item, also there is 1 table on the patio if you want to eat outside.

Too expensive for a hot dog or italian sausage will never pay $9.00 for a saugsauge dog again

I have been using Yelp for some time now but just signed up so I could write a review on this place. Among the issues with my visit here are: Guy got my order wrong, ordered a Chicago dog and he rung up and brought a regular dog Did not ask me if I want my beef dipped Charged me for two drinks when I ordered one After I told him and showed him the receipt he said that I wasn't charged for two drinks. I had to point out the two different drinks to him on the receipt. He apologized and brought me a cup. If I was shorted a drink, I would have told you when you only gave me one cup ten minutes earlier, I want my money back and for you to not smoke so much weed at work! The dog was not very hot, really just on the high side of luke warm The iced tea is not fresh brewed and barely palatable And if this isn't enough, they are about $0.50 higher per item than Skip's in Decatur, which is awesome. I will not be returning! It is too bad, I was also waiting for this place to open.

This spot is located right across the street from my office in Norcross and I highly recommend it.. It is definately addictive. GREAT HOT DOGS! Since they dont have combo deals the price can be a little bit expensive but its REALLY WORTH IT. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I give it 5 starts.

I went to Dogs days this past Sunday. It was my first time visiting as well as my entire groups. The place is sort of hidden so you could easliy miss the turn! Staff- Very friendly and are more than willing to help you out with the menu if you have not had this type of dogs before. Price- Pretty darn cheap for what you get. Food- This was the best hot dog I have eaten in perhaps my life. I had the Maxwell 1/4lb dog. Other big hits were the Itialian and chili dog! Also, if you are not a big hotdog fan don't fret! They have burgers as well! I will be going back !

The Chicago dog is worth a stop. It's vienna beef, nuclear green relish, peppers, pickle, and dusting of celery salt. No beer or wine, but there are outside tables to enjoy your dog with a discreet BYO beverage.

Phenomenal. Simply phenomenal. I've been here a few times, and they never disappoint. I have no clue how long this place has been open, but I sincerely hope they stick around for a while. I'm a relative newcomer in the Norcross area, but a friend of mine suggested we check this place out a little while ago. Best decision ever. I've eaten three different types of dogs so far: the mac & cheese dog, the pico dog, and the reuben dog. The mac & cheese dog had bacon on top, and they were certainly generous with the bacon portion. The taste was phenomenal. I had tots on the side, definitely a good choice. The tots are crispy without being overly so. Good juxtaposition of crunchy and chewy in each bite. The pico dog was perhaps the weakest of the three, but that's not a bad thing to be honest. The veggies on top provided a solid texture counterpoint to the softness of the dog and bun, and flavorwise enhanced the experience. That said, the pico dog's cheese (I'm assuming a nacho cheese) was not particularly present in terms of texture and taste. However, the reuben dog was absolutely phenomenal. Everything blended in just the right ways to give me a delightful symphony in my mouth. I love this place. I'll be back again.

I tried this place for the first time last night. I have to say I was beyond pleasantly surprised! First off the owners and workers were sooooooooo nice and accommodating. I was taking a long time to figure out what I wanted because I had never been there and they were beyond patient with me! Next, the food was AMAZING! Best cheese burger I have ever had in my life. I am not exaggerating! We had a few people with me so we could all try each other's food! Everything I tired I loved! I will definitely come back to this place and I suggest you try it too!

Today was my 3rd time enjoying the hot dogs from Dog Days, and I have to say that this place is amazing! The guys that run this place are very friendly, the kitsch of the decor changes by the season, and overall it's a nice little shop to sit down and enjoy a meal in. I've had the Reuben dog, the Chipotle chili-cheese dog, and the Chicago dogs, and all 3 were amazing (each on separate visits). The kraut and the Russian dressing in the Reuben is great, and the Chipotle chili-cheese dog has crumbled bacon on it too. And they have the option of cheese sauce or shredded cheddar which is nice. Their tots are cooked to perfection, and the chili-cheese tots are awesome because they will crisp them up a bit more so they don't go soggy in the chili. And the onion rings are good enough to make you slap your momma... Overall this place is great for a quick lunch or early dinner if you're craving a great dog and and in a hurry. The food generally hits the table within 5-7 minutes tops. They also have homemade brownies at the counter too I noticed today. The price point for the quality of the food is spot on also. You should give this place a try if you're in the Norcross area...

Excellent, I came here with my wife and friend after shopping for a short break. Got the 8oz burger and it was really tasty. My wife had the hotdog special she enjoyed it and my friend got the quarter pound burger special also tasty. Will come back again. All this and drinks for $26.

I decided to try something new, so I went to DogDays restaurant, and upon entrance I was greeted with great customer service, the man behind the counter by the name of Greg is awesome, he helped me decide what I wanted, we laughed and it was a great experience, and that's big to me, the food was absolutely delicious! I've already been back twice! I just had to let it be known about this place and Greg! Thank you!

I ordered the 141 burger. This burger consisted of two beef patties, BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, bacon, and onion rings. I would first like to start off by saying the bun is absolutely perfect. The bun is a lovely sesame seed bun that is just amazingly buttery and crispy all around the edges, I truly enjoyed the bun and savored every bit of it. The beef patties were very nicely cooked to perfection and extremely juicy as well as flavorful. The beef patties do seem to be freshly made in my opinion. The bacon is also flavorful with just the right amount of crispiness to it. I also enjoyed the nice crispy onion rings in the burger as well. The BBQ sauce was also good, but seemed to have come from a bottle. I did enjoy everything. However, the reason why I only give this place four stars instead of five stars is only because they have given me onion rings instead of French fries when I requested to them that I wanted French fries instead of onion rings on the side. They did serve all of my food pip'n hot though, which is what I enjoyed. Over all I enjoyed my dining experience here and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is craving a really great burger with a nice side of fries or onion rings. The staff is friendly and knows how to do and provide excellent customer service. I will most definitely be dining here again.

I was originally steered away from this place due to a friend's bad review, but fast forward a year and a half later and me being curious-- and I am THRILLED to disagree with my friends. Being from the Chicagoland area originally, I'm hesitant when I see a business claim a nice authentic Chicago cuisine experience-- Chicago-style pizza, dogs, etc. DOG DAYS, however, really delivered. I've had Dog Days a few times now, and I really enjoy it. I'm a huge fan of the Mac n Cheese dog and the Chicago Dog-- the totchos are also quite delicious. My wife enjoyed the 141 burger she had last time, too. In fact, talking about it has me craving it-- off to Dog Days!

So I've been wanting to try this place for a while. So many choices. Started out with a chili cheese slaw dog but at the last minute opted for a Mac n cheese dog, add bacon. Guy working the front was really nice. Next time I'll try the Georgia or the tomato bacon cheese. I'm aware of the high quality of these dogs but I just can't really justify paying $5-$6 for a hotdog. Good flavor though. I would possibly return.

I love coming here for their Mac and cheese hot dog! They're located in a small shopping strip, the same one as Firenze. It's the type of place that you order up front and seat yourself, and then they'll bring your order to you. When you're done, you trash everything yourself. I always get the same thing just because it's so darn good. The Mac and cheese they put on the hot dog is so creamy and cheesy. They make it with five different cheeses! The bun is also very soft. I've never really had an issue here except once they gave me the wrong Togo order, but I came back and was given a free cake! Mac and cheese hot dogs aren't very abundant around here, so I think this place is definitely worth a try! It is a tad bit expensive for hot dogs though. Food-5 stars Price-3.5 stars

Great spot for a quick bite, especially if you work in Technology Park. Despite the unassuming exterior, Dog Days makes delicious Chicago-style hot dogs with several different toppings. Other reviewers have hit the highlights: Mac N Cheese Dog, Southern Dog, etc. Their tasty sides of fries, onion rings, and homemade chips complement the burgers and dogs nicely. Come hungry and leave stuffed to the gills. If you're looking for a light option, however, this is not it.

So, let's start with an all-beef frank cradled in a poppy seed bun. Where do we go from here? Do we go Chicago-style with mustard, onions, relish, pickle, tomato, peppers, and a dash of celery salt? Maybe we go Detroit-style with a Coney - chili, mustard, and onions. Maybe we get a little more...creative. Let's take whatever ingredients and preparations we have nearby and throw it on. Maybe it will work. Pico de gallo? Sure. Onion rings? Ok. Macaroni and cheese? Uh, sure. Baked beans and coleslaw? You're crazy, man. Jalapenos, sour cream, guacamole, and onions work on tortilla chips to make nachos... maybe... yeah, you guessed it - slap it on an all-beef frank! It'll work. Yeah, that's the thought-process you'll find at Dog Days Hot Dogs & Burgers (Yes, the same thought-process translates to their burgers as well). It's a little bit different. That said, I suppose there's something here for everyone so long as you like all-beef hot dogs. Lucky for me, I had this place to turn to when I got the craving for a chilidog... it happens. The wife and I shared a "boat" of two chilidogs topped with chili-cheese fries. The chili was a different style from what I've been accustomed to (I presume it's a Chicago-style) - it was mildly sweet and not very saucy. Nevertheless, it satisfied me very well. I added a squirt of yellow mustard to kick it up a notch. Now I know where to go when the craving strikes again.

Got the Italian Beef, wet, with hot peppers. The peppers were fairly hot -- not like rip-your-face-off hot, just spicy hot. The oil they came in was too much for this sandwich. It would have been better to just get the peppers without all the oil (or just have some on the side). The combination of the wet beef (beef strips dipped in au jus before being adding to the bread) plus the oil from the peppers meant I was basically eating a stew sandwich. A totally tasty mess / don't go with a white-shirt kind of dining experience. Still love their sandwiches and will definitely be back... just won't add on the hot peppers next time.

Great hot dogs! Definitely a place to return to...after I lose a bit of weight! Been there twice...once by myself for a Chicago Dog, once with wifey for a "Georgia" Dog and she had her usual hot dog. Chicago Dog: pretty darn close, but not quite enough celery salt. Why is it that places outside of Chi-town don't get that a pretty heavy dose of celery salt is required? Of course, the tomatoes, etc were out of season...but, hey...when ARE they in season in Chicago itself? Georgia Dog: sweet cole slaw, barbecue sauce, grilled onions...a NEW favorite...wow...this was very good and VERY messy. But...wow...did I mention that it was quite good? Wifey Dog: yellow mustard and ketchup...but...her style...and she loved it. Get the tater tots to go with it...a great alternative to fries and very very tasty. Good place...what are you waiting for!???

"more like 3.5 stars, trending toward 4..." Dog Days has been located in one of those typical nondescript suburban shopping centers that we all drive by day after day without thinking about it... But, one day my partner decided to stop into Dog Days and proclaimed he had a good lunch there. So ... So we both recently tried it. Another Yelper mentioned "...if Dog Days was located in some uber-trendy or up-and-coming district like Decatur or west midtown, they would get a lot more Yelp love than they do..." and I second that emotion. The menu at Dog Days is a bit more expansive that just hot dogs, but the Chicago Dog I had for lunch was spot-on for all of the "chicago" criteria. My partner had an Italian Sausage which was appropriately spice and hearty. I tried their tater tots as a side which was a good choice. The interior is clean with ample seating and lots of "pop-culture-meets-sports-memorabilia" type of items adorning the walls ... enough eye candy to keep yourself occupied while they prepare your order. They only cook to order instead of having fries sitting under heat lamps. They offer several styles of hot dogs and burgers... a couple of different types of sausages on rolls, and even have a proprietary pulled pork recipe that I may have to try. Final analysis: "Don't drive by... Stop in to Dog Days."

Yum! Of course I'm biased because they have Vienna beef hot dogs here and I'm from Chicago...but anyway... They've got a great selection of food - different kinds of hot dogs (including a mac n cheese hot dog), hamburgers, Italian beef, veggie dogs, turkey dogs, tater tots, fries, the list goes on. They also have a decent dessert list as well. There was plenty seating inside for a Friday at lunch time. I had a cheese dog with ketchup and a side of fries. The hot dog was really good and the fries were good but not great.I like my fries a little on the crispier side and some were just a little too squishy for my taste. I definitely didn't leave disappointed though and I look forward to coming back if I ever find myself in this neck of the woods again.

Today I after eating lunch here I found myself saying "Damn, that was a good hot dog!" It was a nice surprise, too. For the last few weeks I've been eating almost exclusively at Chick-fil-A (I've been on a nuggets kick for some reason) and I noticed this place as I was driving over there. Their menu is full of creative dogs covered in all kinds of stuff. I'm pretty simple when it comes to this stuff and ordered a regular with onions, mustard, and ketchup. I checked in on Foursquare and unlocked a coupon for a free small side, so I opted for the homemade chips. Everything about the hot dog was perfect. I especially liked the bun, even though I'm not usually a fan of poppy seeds. I had high hopes for the chips. They were okay, but not amazing. Next time I think I'm getting the tator tots. The wait was a little longer than you'd expect for a hot dog. I assume that was because of the chips, but even if it wasn't it was worth the wait for fresh food.

I went to this place after searching yelp for somewhere to eat for lunch. Tired of eating at the same places on Peachtree Pkwy. And Chick-fila's drive thru is the worst traffic jam in history. I walked in, and it reminded me of a sports eatery you might see on Georgia or Georgia Tech's campus. Minus the televisions. A lot of sports and U.S memorabilia on the walls. Another thing I noticed was, there were only men eating at this place. About 10 men. No women at all. That was a bit intimidating as a petite female. I could only imagine the type of food they serve, that has women avoiding this place like the plague. I ordered just a regular chili dog meal with tater tots and a small drink. I went for the Ballpark dog (large), after the cashier assured me it wasn't too much dog for me to handle (no pun intended). I opted for tater tots, versus fries or onion rings. Entire order came to $8.74. The hotdog was ok. Just a slight much. I can definitely see why men love this place. Nothing too intimidating though. I only ate the hotdog, and was pretty stuffed. With that said, maybe next time I'll try one of the more "flashy" hotdogs. The chili dog wasn't anything to rave about. Not bad, but nothing spectacular. The staff were nice. Food was fast enough. Be prepared to eat when you come.

I was able to check out Dog Days earlier this week with a few co-workers, and as Yelp Weekly informed me that July is National Hot Dog month, I felt it was the right time to go ahead with my review. I never would have eaten at Dog Days, as it's very easy to overlook in a little shopping center, had a friend not suggested it; I'm so glad that they did. The hot dogs are perfectly cooked and have a great flavor; the assortment of toppings and combinations is daunting, but delicious as well. The guy at the counter was friendly, but with a bit of snark that made you feel like you were really in Chicago grabbing a dog. I had the chili-cheese slaw dog, which was delicious; friends had the Chicago style dog, a burger, and a regular chili-cheese dog--all were great. The service was fast and allowed for a comfortable lunch break without a rush. I'm looking forward to going back there again, perhaps to try the tot-cho's, or tater tots piled high like nachos with delicious cheese and other toppings.

If this place were located in Midtown or L5P, it would be packed with hipsters spending three times the price for the same awesome food. As it is, do yourself a favor and spend the gas money to take a trip up Peachtree Parkway and have a meal here. You'll still come out ahead. The hot dog toppings are varied and delish. There are a ton of special combos on the menu that take you all over the map--Georgia, Chicago, California, etc--plus some toppings that will take you by surprise but cry out to be taste-tested (mac n cheese dog? Yes, please, thank you!). But the counter guy is pretty open to building you any kind of dog you want...the burgers, too, gave you a ton of options I had the New Yorker dog and it was fantastic. The meat had a crisp snap, the chili topping was the perfect balance of smooth and spicy, and the kraut had a slight warm spice flavor to the pickle. The fries didn't look like much, so I ordered the tots. They achieved the heights that potato can reach: golden, crispy, pillow inside, and not at all greasy. The whole menu is a diet buster--even the salad can be had with pulled pork on top--but it is totally worth the extra calories. I am absolutely going back and if ITP'ers have any sense, there will be a parade of cars right behind me.

Like Kit above me, I too was waiting a long time for this place to finally open! The promise of a good hot dog joint seemed like a great idea to me! What better way to survive this economic downturn than with cheap good food? I figured they were trying to boost their cred by using a name that was catching, and also in American Pie movies (that's the name of their hangout spot, right?). Anyway, I saw it was opened, and finally decided to go in yesterday for lunch. 2 people, 2 dogs, 2 sides, 2 drinks... OVER $18!!! So here's the breakdown. You have regular size or small size. The small is like what you would get from the grocery store. The regular size is the 1/4 pound dogs you find at Quick Trip! The more stuff you pile on to it, the more it's going to cost you. Drinks and sides are... on the side. After paying close to $20 for LUNCH, I was expecting something grand! Then the food came out. The cheese smelled like a dirty locker room. Maybe that's good for some of you, but it didn't sit well with me. The chili seemed like it was out of a can, nothing amazing or unique about it. The dogs are simply boiled! The only thing different about this dog from one you get at the ball park was the bun! I'm the guy who buys the 24 pack of Nathans to grill out during the summer months. I do a good job rotating, and plumping up my dogs. They are always perfectly colored and never bland! This hot dog place doesn't even come close! These hot dog snobs don't have a product to back up their egos, and I won't be wasting my money there. You're better off getting a pack of dogs from the grocery store.

Pico dog was pretty good - mac and cheese was just ok. I only managed to have a few bites before I spotted a hair in it and lost my appetite. I understand these things happen. But I don't need any attitude from staff when I try to discreetly return an item because of a kitchen hygiene issue. A customer shouldn't have to request a refund instead of a business card for free hot dog next time - a refund should be automatic. To the dude working at Dog Days wearing the Indiana Pacers hat, might I suggest you lose your attitude with customers or plan on losing a lot of business. You've lost me for good - nice job chief.

I'd drive by this place every morning on my way to Starbucks waiting for the day I could stop here for lunch. Well the day came... Retrospectively, I wish I had brought my lunch. So what happened? Well, we come in and it's all goodness. A menu of hot dog specialties so completed that you almost need a key to decode it all. I ordered the 141 Dog thinking I was on the way to hot dog nirvana. It was going to be great. Oh and a side of chili fries, of course. Well, back to reality, the hot dog wasn't that bad. The main source of contention was that they went overkill with the fake nacho cheese sauce. I guess I missed that when I made my selection, so my fault for that. But man, they seriously drenched the dog in it. My hot dog bun would freely ooze nacho cheese the minute you applied any pressure to try and move the hot dog to your mouth. I ended up removing truckloads of cheese to make the hot dog somewhat bearable (ironically leaving my basket to look eerily like the pictures of the toxic spill in Hungry I'd seen earlier that day). For some, this last bit may be TMI, and for that I apologize. However, I do feel in full disclosure in order to help other Yelpers I must let it all out. I know Dog Days isn't where you go for health food, but I also know that I do not eat that healthy and pretty much have an iron-clad stomach. That said, this review was delayed due to several sessions of wrestling with the porcelain gods. Who won? You all know that there are no winners in that game. Only shame... I don't know what it was, but something got me there pretty good and I don't plan on giving it a second chance. Release the hounds? Meh, I think not.

I give this five states because I never like hot dogs but the chipotle chili cheese hot dog is Awesome! The tater-tots are good and get to wash it down with a glass bottled Coke, all-American food doesn't get much better than this.

Fantastic dogs - so glad our friends recommended this place Not sure about the experience other reviewers had - the person who took our order could not have been any nicer. We got an extra large fries and it fed three adults and one child. We got the chili slaw dog, two chili cheese dogs, and a Chicago dog. Sure, maybe the Chicago dog is not totally authentic, but all of the food was delicious. We will certainly be back.

I love a great hot dog and their hot dogs a superb. I've had their chili cheese dog which was good but as i dont care for melted nacho cheese and believe chili dogs deserve shredded cheddar it only recives a 2 however their avacado dog was amazing and rates a solid 3. I would ask for less onions next time as they were a bit overwhelming, but thats just my preference. I can't wait to try a few other choices. On to other points: Their tater tots and fries need vast improvement or their cook needs instruction on how to cook them as either they are under done or burnt with a major lack of seasoning. They get a 1 ! The gentleman with the hat and tatoos that takes the orders is surly and may want to consider some anger management courses but this adds a bit of charater and ambiance to the place as the rest of the staff is courteous and all smiles. Customer service gets a 2.5 since taking my order and not growling at me is important; snarl after I order. Finally they get a 3 for overall cleanliness; speed; and Ed Harvey-esque environment.

Alright, figured a Chicago native should chime in here. It is not Al's or Portillos but sometimes when I get the craving for an Italian Beef or Chicago Dog, it is worth a trip down the street from my office. My Georgia native wife was blown away when she first witnessed an Italian Beef in Chicago. You take roll, fill it with shaved beef sitting in gravy then dunk the whole sandwich in said gravy and serve it with hot or sweet peppers. You need a shower after a good beef sammich. At first, they were a little slow to adopt some of the buances. Example - I ordered a beef with hot peppers and it came with sport peppers when it should universally come with hot gardiniera (hot pepper relish in olive oil). Also, you usually have the option of wet or dry - these all come dry but I ask for a side of au jus and it suffices. Happy to report they now have gardiniera and heap it on! Dogs are pretty good - the only think missing from the true Chicago Dog is a poppy seed bun but that isn't a deal-breaker. All in all, they do use Vienna Beef and the quality is always pretty good if not all that authentic - the Steelers garb on the wall of a Chicago themed restaurant is confusing. We Chicagoans are all food snobs and very protective of our beloved favorites. It is worth a trip and I will go back regularly when the Cubs are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs (usually in May) or I just miss a good Wrigley hot dog.

So I order a large fry and pay 2.75 for them. Open the bag and get them home and there are no more fries than I could have gotten for 1.50 anywhere else. This place seemed to think they had gotten a good reputation and jacked their prices up. No more for me.

Flay me, slay me, beat me all over. I went into this place after working on the lawn at the church, looking for some poppy seeded, pickled, and peppered perfection to slather with mustard and pacify my crave. BUT, I failed to check out the Yelps on this place first. On reflection, "Dog Days" means the sullen, oppressive heat of late August, so I really should've thought before I bought. But the stomach is a hungry hunter....After being waited on with attitude, I received the goods, which had all the necessary accessories, but what's with the tiny weinie? This is like buying a Beemer and finding a Yugo engine in it- what's the point? Real Chicago-esque dogs stick out at least a half inch on either end of the bun. Oh, and they're really warm, plus they have a good "pop" and flavor. I had to settle for a dull "moosh" and a slight taste. The bun and pickle were good though.

Veggie perspective! You can get a decent veggie dog "Chicago Style" (nuclear green relish! Whee!) here on a pretty darn good poppy seed bun. Their onion rings aren't made in house but they were actually quite tasty and had *gasp* real onions in them and were just greasy enough to counteract any previous liver damage. Tater tots = yum as well. Not worth driving OTP, but if you just happen to have a reason to be in the area, worth stopping by.

I've been to Dog Days two times now; both were very good experiences. I have never had problems with my order, the dogs were great and satisfying. I just relocated here from Illinois, and the Chicago dogs aren't perfect, but they are still excellent and the best I've found so far in North Georgia. I've also tried their chili dogs (not bad) and a Mexican style (jalapenos, cheese, salsa, etc) and both were tasty. I do recommend getting the "small" dogs; the large ones are a TON of food! I would guess that the place has "matured" a bit since it opened. It was pretty busy there the last time I was there. Service was a little slow, but we also got in behind a group of 10 people, which I think is unusual for them. Prices are a bit on the high side, but this isn't a dive; the food quality is good, and you do get what you pay for. All in all, if you want a good hot dog, I highly recommend them!

This place has delicious food. I didn't experience any of the other comments.

Its not bad I have only been twice and both times got the Italian beef with giranderia. I compare all Italian beefs to Da Chicago dog since that is the best one I have ever had. I might have to go back and try something different.

Excellent variety and friendly service

(5)James H.
(4)David H.
The Chicago dog is worth a stop. It's vienna beef, nuclear green relish, peppers, pickle, and dusting of celery salt. No beer or wine, but there are outside tables to enjoy your dog with a discreet BYO beverage.
(3)Brandon L.

(5)David B.
(5)Cliff G.
Excellent, I came here with my wife and friend after shopping for a short break. Got the 8oz burger and it was really tasty. My wife had the hotdog special she enjoyed it and my friend got the quarter pound burger special also tasty. Will come back again. All this and drinks for $26.
(4)Laura L.
Came here on my lunch break. The food was amazing! Loved the Mac n Cheese and tried one of their burgers.
(5)Helen P.
Very good hot dogs. They have a huge menu with any type of dog you could think of. I had the Chicago Dog and it was delicious. Great selections for kids. The owners are very sweet.
(4)Jae R.
It was a good experience the fries are not good, but the Italian Beef makes up for it. Very friendly staff as well.
(4)Karri W.
Absolutely the best hot dogs I've ever had! It doesn't matter what you try here everything is phenomenal!
(5)Ebony W.
1st time here...definitely will be back. Got the Chili cheese dog and it was so delish! I wish I had time to taste each and every hot dog they have. I'm so glad to have found this place. Now I can go back to work and crawl under my desk and go to sleep because I'm so full :-)
(5)Kris D.
Thank you!
(5)June C.

Chicago food in Georgia.. my beloved pizza puff and Vienna Italian Beef w/ hot and extra juicy. Im in chicago food heaven in Atlanta!
(5)Tara L.
Yelp helped me find a hot dog restaurant while out in norcross for business. Excellent dogs. We had the pico dog and the chicago dog. Onion rings are fresh beer battered. Will make my way back to dog days anytime possible...
(5)Bob T.
I am originally from the Chicago suburbs...so I know what a Chicago hotdog and Italian beef sandwich are supposed to be...and this place nails it.
(4)Jeremy D.
(5)Yolanda P.
(3)Vicki N.

(4)Joel B.
(4)Duane F.
(4)Ray B.
(3)Kristin K.
(5)Sean M.
Best hotdog I have had. I got the baja dog. It had just the right amount of kick with the jalepenos and chipotle sauce. I would definitely go back for another dog.
(4)Kaialaia T.
Veggie burgers were barely okay don't really recommend this place I did a phone order and they messed it up don't know how difficult it is to make a veggie burger and french fries but hey I guess everyone tries.
(1)David K.

(4)Jaymi C.

(1)Scott J.
(2)Bill W.
(1)Melanie T.
I give this five states because I never like hot dogs but the chipotle chili cheese hot dog is Awesome! The tater-tots are good and get to wash it down with a glass bottled Coke, all-American food doesn't get much better than this.
(5)Geoff C.
(5)Rachel W.
