That was perhaps one of the best meals I've ever had. I had the good ol' Jerk Chicken Plate. I'm glad I got the small one. I can't imagine what a large one looks like. Everything on my plate was perfect. The rice and beans were good by themselves. Add the oxtail gravy and it becomes outstanding. The boiled cabbage was simply excellent. The Jerk Chicken itself was spiced just right--some good heat to set things off without becoming too much to handle. And the plantains were the right thing to cap off this meal. I demolished the entire thing. My only complaint: The television was too loud. That volume scale went up to 100. When I finally asked staff to turn it down, I discovered the volume was set in the high 80s, and the lady gave me a funny face before turning it down. I mean, I realize they're probably listening to the TV back in the kitchen, but there's no reason a customer should go home deaf. But if there's any doubt about my desire to go back, please re-read my first paragraph. Holler if you're coming with.

THEY HAVE VEGETARIAN OPTIONS!!!! I came here w friends otherwise I would never come assuming that they wouldn't have veggie options but they do and it's DELICIOUS!! OMG, the flavors are great. No cheating w chicken broth as most places like to do. I loved the flavor. The jerk sauce is amazing on anything you put it on. Service was excellent.

Stopped at this little hole in the wall by chance and couldn't have been happier - the curry goat and jerk chicken were absolutely delicious! It's a great option for a quick, cheap, flavorful meal.

Really good, right amount of spice. Felt my jerk chicken was a little dry, but still edible. Rice w/oxtail gravy was amazingly good, plantains were average. Will return if the mood arises again.

So, it is with regret that I must update this review and demote the oxtails that I once raved abt. I truly enjoyed my food here for a number of visits but the last visit was my last visit. The oxtails were black, I don't mean well browned, not burnt, just little tar-like bones needing to be fished from the sea of tar-like gravy with which they were served. Tried as I did, I could not get over the horrid meal that I was just overcharged for. I ordered a small and was charged for a large. I realized this after my hubby showed me the receipt later as he went inside to pick it up. Sorry but back to searching for good oxtails I go.

I've been here a couple of times and I have to say that the location in Union City has better flavor. Had the jerk pork with the plantains and cabbage & it was good but not mind blowing. This place also isn't a clean as the UC location, food and cleanliness go hand in hand.

I had the jerk chicken with cabbage and brown rice/peas. Phenomenal!! The jerk sauce was the best I've ever had. It's sweet and spicy. Service was spot on as well. Make sure to get the cocoa bread!

This was my second visit here. My co-worker and I don't care for their rice. But a third co-worker said it was okay with her. To me it's too fluffy and just rice. Nothing stands out about it. Reminds me of Boil-In-the-Bag rice with no seasonings on it. ALthough I do not like the rice I consider the food's over all taste to be a 3 Star because.... The meat is good, Out of the three of us no one complained about their meat. One person had Chicken Wings, one had Jerk Chicken and the other had dinner size portion (Which was big) of Brown Stewed Chicken which came with tasty cabbage and plantains. But I must warn you that the lunch size portions are small. For $7 you can get a to go box full of food at other Caribbean places. NOT HERE buddy! If you order the lunch size it is Half of the regular to go box. Keep that in mind. For me $7 is a lot for lunch. A canned or bottled beverage came with my meal so that was a plus. Luckily for me I eat small portions a few times per day. But I feel the need to let you all know not to expect the usual portion if you get their "Lunch Specials". To me that is not really a "Lunch Special" if you are charging $7 for half a box of food. It should be $4-5 for that box. So I have to take that into consideration, hence the 2 Star. Side note: I I've been to their other location on Hwy 138 several times. I did a review of it and I actually like that location. But I never got the lunch portion and I like the rice at the other place. I am surprised this place is owned by the same people!

I love eating here whenever I'm in the area. The food is good but my only complaint is the customer service. The darker skin cashier is much nicer than the brown skin cashier. He come off as a little rude and short. I notice when other Jamaican patrons come in his whole attitude changes. Maybe he likes his own native people. In totality I like the food

The oxtails with heavy gravy were delicious. The oxtails were very tender and cooked to perfection.

I am actually a fan. I ordered a large chicken curry and it was definitely a lunch portion at other places. The food was pretty solid and I would definitely go there again. I didn't call my order in advance, but it was done in a short period time. Now I have a new place to go to south of Atlanta while I'm at work.

The Morrow location is one of two for the Jerk Palace -- located in a strip mall, I only found it since I was getting a hair cut next door. Have had several take out meals. Timed it right to get goat one night, chicken the rest. Really good spicy deep flavored jerk sauce, generous portions with lots of hacked up dark meat that was tender without cooking all the flavor out of it. Comes with an exceptionally tasty well cooked vegetable mix based on cabbage, potato chunks go along too. Get extra sauce! I get plantains on the side. Something different and certainly much much preferable to the chains that abound in this area (close to Southlake Mall).

Good food. I love their oxtail and patties. Finally found this place after looking for a good Caribbean restaurant for a while.
