We had a great time at this restaurant - forget the campers surrounding it and the cinderblock construction, the lakeside dining was delightful (our group's toddler especially liked the boats and ducks). Fine menu choices, salad bar, light hand with the breading for fried items - and reasonable prices. Our server could not have been nicer. Beer/wine available.

Really wanted to like this place, we were greeted by very a friendly hostess who guided us to a booth with a very nice view of the lake, the restaurant appears to have been renovated recently and has a wonderful atmosphere. Our waitress was equally friendly and cheerfully took our order for one of the offered specials of the day, NY Strips. This was the end of our enjoyable experience, we preceded to the offered "salad bar" which consisted of "bag salad" mix and the usual less than exciting additions. Turns out, this was the highlight of our meal. The baked potato presented was practically inedible, it was hard with a texture I can't really describe and the steak, although seasoned well, was far from tender. This was our first visit and although our food experience was less than awesome we will probably give them another try just because they were just so damn nice, will just avoid the steaks and the baked potato's!!!

No frills. No fuss. Just good food. The salad bar is quaint, but has everything you need. I like the fried catfish fillet. They are HUGE so I can only eat one. The hubby prefers his catfish bone-in. Either way, it is delicious!
