It may be a truck stop restaurant, however, the food is fantastic! We tried the food at The Taste of Monroe and fell for the shrimp & grits and awesome southern style. We ventured out for breakfast and LOVED the experience. I had the sweet potato pancakes and husband had the biscuits and gravy and of course grits. Amazing. Pancakes were perfect. Didn't need syrup they were delish plain! Service is not speedy but customer service is above and beyond great! A busy kitchen and one server for front of the house keeps the place hopping on the morning we went. We will definitely return- just advise those who want "faster fast food" to head toward a drive thru chain if you are rushed. This is great place for a family meal, conversation, and the best home cooked meal. Go now. We want to return on Catfish\Seafood Saturdays. Worth the drive and true amazing hideaway secret. Excellent!

Tough one to review. The place is an absolute dump and doesn't seem very clean. But the all you can eat crab legs are great and plentiful and I loved the hush puppies. I would probably only come for crab legs, but I'd come often for those!

My daughter and her family tried this place and really loved it so my wife and I gave it a go but after three tries we've never gone back. The wait staff is very friendly but the food is just average and the atmosphere is a bit rough. Truck drives seated alone talking loudly on their ear phones while eating was annoying. The main reason we've never gone back is because the cleanliness was suspect. Check their health inspection rating and you decide.

Tonight was our last time eating at Kaity's. We've said that last time we were there after waiting an hour for food that never arrived, but Kaity's was on our drive home this evening and the convenience outweighed other dining options. This experience sealed the deal tonight - never again. I told my husband before we arrived that I bet they'd be out of something I ordered, and sure enough, the server dropped off my entree without the baked potato - never mentioning they were out until I inquired upon her return to the table. Did I mention my husband got his baked potato? I guess he lucked up with the last potato in the establishment! We both had catfish fillets and were terribly disappointed. They tasted more of grease and breading than catfish. I would not suggest ordering them. It appeared many of the patrons throughout the restaurant ordered crablegs though (maybe we should have taken the hint). Unfortunately the service and food were both so bad we won't be back.

Don't let the truck stop fool you! The crab legs at this Christian establishment were awesome. Everyone in my party of 6, but myself, had the all-you-can-eat option. The food never stopped coming! I chose the $7.99 catfish filet dinner and was surprised at how big it was. I left full also! The hushpuppies are incredible also. The ambiance is very simple and the tables are setup to accommodate groups. They don't serve alcohol, which might disappoint some, but the food more than makes up for it!
