If you are someone who cannot resist tasty food, then at Zaxby's you can always try the Zalads. The best part about these salads is that you can customize it as per your needs. Make it grilled, fried or just go for the garden which can make your salad healthy and low on calories.

If you are diabetic, you must skip all the Drinks served at Zaxby's. There are only a couple of no sugar drinks, but they are merely empty calories and don't contain any nutritional value. You must also avoid food items on the Popular menu at Zaxby's such as Buffalo Chicken Finger plate and Chicken Finger Plate. These items are high in sugar and sodium which can be harmful to diabetics. You must also keep the Chicken wings order to a maximum five to control your sugar intake. Avoid BBQ, Teriyaki, and Sweet & Spicy sauces in your Chicken wings order.
Instead of ordering fried chicken wing servings, you can always request for a grilled sandwich with lettuce, onion, and tomatoes to counter high blood pressure. A sandwich calorie count can range between 900 to 1600 calorie which can be reduced by asking for healthier options.

Food suggestions for High Blood Pressure at Zaxby's
If you are supposed to restrict your calorie count, then try any of the zalads and club it up with a sandwich to fill your stomach with delicious food. To curb the cravings for deep fried food, opt for a small portion (5) of boneless wings and chicken fingerz.

Foods to Avoid at Zaxby's for High Cholesterol
Salads are often great and considered healthy. However, if you have high cholesterol, then you must be careful while ordering salads or shall we say Zalads at Zaxby's. Fried Cobb salad contains high-fat content which can spike your LDL cholesterol levels. Most food items on Zaxby's menu are high in fat content if you increase the quantity. Instead of opting for 10 or 20 chicken wings from the menu, opt for 5 traditional chicken wings to control your cholesterol balance.
First time we've been to a Zaxby's and we were pleasantly surprised. A bit more casual than we were expecting, but food was delicious & plentifully portioned. Overall a great experience - I wish we had one back home. At least as good as Chick Fil-A and open Sunday's.

This Zaxby's is located in Metter, Georgia just off I-16 exit 104 (SR 23 / SR 121 - Metter, Reidsville). Zaxby's is a fast casual chicken chain with locations mostly in the South. This Metter location's building and layout appear to be an exact copy of the Marietta location near my workplace ( yelp.com/biz/zaxbys-mari… ). Not just similar, but an exact copy. We stopped by for lunch on a Sunday afternoon around 12:30pm and the restaurant was packed to the gills. It seemed like everyone and their mother from Metter and the next town over were here. We waited patiently in line for about 10-12 minutes before we could order. After that, we waited another 12-15 minutes for our food. Zaxby's popular items are chicken fingers, wings, and chicken sandwiches (grilled or fried) along with Texas toast and crinkle-cut fries. They're also known for their "Zax sauce," which I believe is a ketchup and mayonnaise-based dipping sauce. It's not bad. The food here is not healthy, however, as it's absolutely packed with grease and salt. That's what makes it taste good though! We ended up going with a Chicken Finger Plate with Zax sauce, coleslaw, and fries ($6.49) and a Cajun Club basket with crinkle-cut fries ($5.99). A small drink was $1.79. Drinks are dispensed from a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine (a plus). Unfortunately, this was the worst Zaxby's meal I've experienced and I think it had to do with the huge influx of customers. The kitchen seemed rushed and plates/orders seemed to be processed rather inconsistently. This led to one of our plates (Cajun Club) being pushed out from the kitchen first, only to sit on the serving tray for several minutes while the second plate was being prepared. The wait resulted in both the Cajun Club sandwich and fries becoming lukewarm and soggy from a combination of both the sauce on the sandwich and condensation from sitting out too long. By the time the full order was processed, the Cajun Club plate wasn't appetizing at all. In contrast, the Chicken Finger Plate was A-OK with chicken fingers and fries each hot and crispy. The difference between the two plates was like night and day. To its credit, the Cajun Club had lettuce, tomato, cheese, and bacon. It's too bad the bun continued to disintegrate each time I picked up the sandwich. The Chicken Finger Plate came with a slice of heavily buttered Texas toast. It was delicious and great for my arteries. Mmm... The chicken fingers were a tad salty, but that's how Zaxby's does it. The coleslaw was served in its own little to-go ramekin with snap-shut lid. The slaw was fine -- better than KFC and maybe even Popeyes. As mentioned earlier, the restaurant was incredibly crowded, but we managed to find a two-top. The men's restroom was clean. This place is probably fine outside of Sunday afternoons right after church.

We made a pitstop at this particular Zaxbys on our way to Atlanta. The fried chicken fingers and Zax sauce were zasty. I filled my cup up with chewey ice and coke before hitting the road again. You can preorder your food online if you don't want to wait in line for your Zaxbys.

Worst customer service, no hello, thank you or go to hell. Will never visit this franchise again. Niaya needs communication and customer service training.

Never been to a Zaxby's before (not from the South), it was interesting. They're known for their fried chicken but I had a headache so I got the grilled chicken combo... About $6, not bad. Their sandwich was DELICIOUS - way better than McD's. Fries were just okay, kinda looked like the frozen crinkle cut ones you can make at home. Not a bad pit stop, on the way back to Atlanta from Savannah.
