I've eaten at Cracker Barrel's all across the South, my experience yesterday was shocking an disappointing. The service was nonexistent and the food was not edible. Food served cold, catfish was undercooked chicken was over cooked tasted like cardboard. Ran out of sweet potato fries, replaced with regular fries without asking if a substitute for another side dish. Never refilled glasses. Not eating here anymore.

I've been to cracker barrel before but I've usually only had the breakfast. This time I decided to try the dinner menu and I was surprised. I ordered the grilled pork chop country dinner and hubby had the 10oz ribeye. Amazing service. Perfectly cooked and seasoned ribeye. My pork chop was cooked nicely but was sadly under seasoned. Everything else was delicious. Awesome biscuits. Prices are pretty good too. We got 4 biscuits, two sweet teas, steak fries, baked potato, mac and cheese, pinto beans, side salad, grilled pork chop and broccoli for $33 even.

I've been to other cracker barrels and this one isn't the best. The portions are on the small size and the food is over cooked. However, the service is nice and polite as always. It's just the food isn't the best at this location.

Love good ole fashioned southern comfort food and this is the closest you'll get to mama's!

Awful front of the house service, hostess has personality issues. Food and waitress was great! I won't return where I'm half heartedly greeted and I seem to have bothered you at work.

I love Cracker Barrel restaurants as I've never had a bad meal at any location. Very consistent and always great service. Ordered the fish fry tonight with steak fries, coleslaw, and one thing I've noticed is that they've down sized their proportions which is kind of depressing. But at the same time it's probably good because I used to get 2 meals out of the other meals. You now get 4 small little fish filets instead of 3 giant sized fish filets. Oh well, maybe we're all getting too fat? Still good food at a great price, which many restaurants can't match. Great meal, and I actually got to finish it this time!

I don't think I need to comment too much on the food as it's basically the same as all the other Cracker Barrels in the US. Typically all the food is delicious and service is always polite as a down-home Southern place should be. This location was only OK on our pass through Atlanta. They overcooked my steak, making it well-done instead of medium, as I requested. The size of the hash brown casserole was 1/2 the size as I've been served for years. Was slightly disappointed in this location.

I love this southern styled restaurant with all the fancy fixings as they say. The pancakes are great and the eggs are just my way. Great hash brown casserole and excellent traditional southern dishes. This location is very busy and you expect 30 minute plus waits.

I love Cracker Barrel. Can't get this stuff in SoCal, so I always make it a point to stop in at a CB if there's one around. I happened to go to this one as part of a work outing, and I gotta say .. the staff here kicked butt. There were about 30 of us that converged on this restaurant for lunch. We had been to many places over the previous few days, and every one of those fancier restaurants completely failed when it came to getting lunch orders out quickly and to the right people. This despite the fact that we pre-ordered and each item had a name associated with it. Not CB. As soon as we showed up, those ladies were marching out of the kitchen with plates of food and calling names. Dishes delivered, follow ups for drinks and extras, an efficient operation. Even a couple of stragglers that showed up late and didn't pre-order had no problems getting in and out with the group. Nicely done, CB. Nicely done.

This is one of the fall back positions for brunch after church and & I enjoy the southern breakfast. I usually get the same thing when I come here [old timer's breakfast] I love, love, love the Hashbrown Casserole with a frosty orange creme soda. Stepping into this place is like stepping back in time with all the kitchy items they have in there store & all the old timers drinking there coffee eating breakfast. It's fun coming here from time to time but with all the fried food it can be a heart attack waiting to happen.

Working in this area brings back memories from when I went to high school (yes, I'm a product of the Henry County school system). I'm sure to most, Cracker Barrel would be an obvious dining choice down here, yet I didn't even think about it until my co-worker Karrie mentioned it. I told her that I didn't think I had even been to one she was insistent (and actually treated me to lunch). Honestly, I don't know how you could hate on this place. I don't exactly love it, but I don't hate it. The whole "country store" thing is lost on me. Clearly their cashiers were trained using a manual from The Gap because they try to get EVERY customer to buy a pack of Mentos... or a mint... or another small add-on (like The Gap does with socks). I'll admit it - Reading the menu made me salivate. Chicken and dumplings. Meatloaf. Breakfast served all day. Mmmmm... Then I got my food. It was okay and very similar to what you'd get at Piccadilly. The sweet tea was fine. The biscuits aight. You can't beat the price. The $6.99 lunch special is awesome. I just wish the meatloaf hadn't been sitting out under a warming lamp waiting for the lunch rush.
