Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

This place is just as I remembered from back in the day. Glad to see they are still in business. My server Claudia is super! Hope to come back with my wife and share my all time favorite "burrito al carbon" just can't see myself leaving here stuffed with another trip or two to complete. I ordered instead 2 small enchiladas and a crispy taco. The lunch portion. It was good the chicken could stand more enchiladas sauce as it was a bit dry- but nothing is always perfect. It was still delicious

This place is awesome. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants around. I will say that I had this place a few times years ago and was not a fan. I gave it another shot last year and I love it now. I don't know if anything has really changed or if it's just me, but if you have had this place before and weren't a fan, definitely give it another shot. The staff are very friendly and polite, and the food is awesome. Great prices. They give you two types of salsa, one is more traditional (yet still well above average!) and the other is a more smoky (chipotle, perhaps?) one. I prefer the latter, but both are great. The weekday lunch specials just can't be beat. Huge portions. The chicken soup and veggie/chicken bowls are also great. Check it out!

I was never a big fan of the American style Mexican food, so I never really had the urge of coming into this place till one night my husband suggested it. We walked in, it was nice atmosphere with nice people working. TVs all around to watch sports on, and they do have a nice drink menus, drink specials on certain nights, and live band. I really do not recommend the food here, as the menu may have look impressive at the beginning, but the food really is just okay. Chips and salsa are free of course. I ordered their chicken soup twice, and both times the soup came out just warm, not freshly made at all I guess. I ordered couple tacos too, and they taste very bland, which I regretted right away. My husband ordered fajitas such as okay also. However, we cannot complain about their drinks, we always either order the Modelo pitcher, or the 5 bottle a bucket deal, or the coronarita :) My husband and I both agreed that we would probably not come here for food because it's really nothing tasty here, but we would most definitely come for drinks and watch the games.

We come here every Friday at lunch time with my coworkers Vonchristian, Gabriela and Mrs. Rubina. From our experience service is always great and they always understand we are on a time frame so they serve us pretty quickly. They always split our bills up with no problem, very polite. They have half price Margaritas on Tuesdays and Thursdays but we always convince the server on Friday to give us that price lol. Food is great, I've had the Chicken Chimichanga with Mexican cheese and jalapeños, it's quite fantastic, spicy and delicious. Their burritos and tacos are yummy too, they have a choice of refried beans or black beans, both good but I always prefer black beans, their rice is pretty good too. They always let us take nachos and salsa to go to munch on at work. Always one of our favorite places to go.
