I would like to rate BB a little higher but they cut corners too much on ingredients. No requeijão? If it's expensive, there's a sub using muenster and cream cheese that's pretty legit. It's better than salty chicken + dry mozzarella coxinha. If I was in the area maybe I'd go back for the sadistic attitude from the cashiers but Roswell has some better places.

Truth is, their items are a real hit or miss. (5) Coxinha - their best item by far. Unfortunately sometimes they are dry (when they chop the chicken up a lot), sometimes they are moist (hand-shredded or chopped a little less), sometimes they are real doughy (ugh, my least favorite). Most of the time, they are moist. Recently they've started to remind me of Costco's chicken bakes. (4.5) Pao de quiejo: I couldn't stop popping these in the car...yucca dough filled cheese balls. I hear this is a popular snack in Brazil, and I see why! Yum. (3) Sandwiches, frango ao crema, pasteis, etc: are fine, but they raised the prices so I'm not as inclined to get these. Their pasteis are super greasy and not appealing for me. The chicken cream pie (frango ao crema) is pretty huge but I was surprised at how "jiggly" it was. I was hoping for a lush creme filling, but it's more condensed Campbell's cream of something on top, like right out of the can. (1) Most of their dessert items - absolute miss for me. Diabetically sweet in all (I'm like 99% sure they use corn syrup, and you can taste it) and artificially tasting in others. The only way I can describe their desserts is that they lack...refinement. Like the shells for the chocolate bonbons are super thick, the coconut balls are super sweet and dry, the strawberry cheesecake is regular cheesecake covered in a gloopy strawberry topping, etc. Tried a few of their cakes too and meh....looks fabulous, tastes mediocre. Honestly haven't been that happy with any of their desserts. :(

I always receive great service when I visit, the employees at the counter are very helpful with explaining the menu. I like the pastries filled with hearts of palm and you can't go wrong with the cheese rolls, they also sell them frozen so you can bake them at home. Hope to try some of the cakes on my next visit, they look good!

I'm kind of leaning toward a 3.5 on this one. I've been lots of times and have sampled tons of their items, and the truth is it's been hit or miss for me. The absolute best item, in my opinion, is the coxinha. I could eat those things every day. Crispy outside, rich inside, and super flavorful. Just to die for! The sandwiches are good, but nothing spectacular. The Fillet is tasty, but I was decidedly underwhelmed by the other sandwiches I've tried. I am not a fan of the cakes I've eaten here at all. They were moist, but sorely lacking in flavor. A real bummer since they're so lovely to look at.

I'm posting a review update for Brazilian Bakery Cafe after returning multiple times and trying some new items. While I've only been to a handful of Brazilian restaurants in Atlanta ( yelp.com/list/obrigado-b… ), Brazilian Bakery still stands out to me as the best non-churrascaria (steakhouse) Brazilian restaurant in the Atlanta metro. The bakery is popular. A steady flow of customers comes for dine-in and take-out. Therefore, fresh-cooked goods are always coming out from the kitchen. The food is tasty and affordably priced and the service is quick. Not a whole lot more you can ask for. Definitely order a coxinha. In Portuguese, coxinha means "little chicken thigh." These aren't chicken thighs, however. They're pear-shaped, chicken thigh-sized croquettes filled with tender shredded chicken and an absolutely delicious cream sauce made with tomato, onion, parsley, and cheese. These things don't look like much from the outside, but they might be the tastiest thing at Brazilian Bakery. The outer breading is fine, soft, and crisp. The filling is succulent. If you don't see any in one of the display cases, ask the staff. More than likely, a new batch can be cooked up in the kitchen in about 10 minutes. I still recommend the Fillet (steak) and Tudo (hamburger, grilled chicken) sandwiches. The Fillet is outstanding. Another sandwich I've tried is the Lombinho, which contains a pork loin, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pineapple, and potato sticks. It's a big sandwich with plenty of tender pork loin and fresh fruit and vegetables. The loin isn't too oily and the ripe pineapples give the sandwich a sweet flavor. The small potato sticks add a crunchy consistency to the sandwich. It's good stuff, though the Fillet still wins as my favorite sandwich. Either way, you can't go wrong. Sandwiches are about $6-8 each. If you're not in the mood for a sandwich, consider a torta. Brazilian Bakery's tortas aren't to be confused with Mexican tortas (sandwiches). The tortas here are savory pies filled with meat and other ingredients. They're about $5-6 each. You can get a pie made with hearts of palm, chicken alfredo, or a bolognese sauce. I've tried the Frango ao Creme torta which is a chicken and cream pie. Two slices of pie are served with each order. The chicken and cream pie consisted of two levels: (1) a bottom level with marinated and spiced shredded chicken and (2) an upper level of cream. There's a lot of cream. It kind of tastes like the cream you find in cream of mushroom soup. If you like those types of soups, you'll like this pie. Save room for dessert. The desserts are unique and come in a variety of flavors and sizes, so there's something for almost everyone. If you like soda, grab a Guarana Antartica Brazilian soda from the fridge. It's sweet and refreshing. Service is good. The physical space of the restaurant has changed slightly since my last review. The walls are nicer and they've added a partition to the dining room. The restaurant is still bright and clean. Parking can get tight on weekends, but it's generally not a problem. So many factors are coming into this rating. Here's what it boils down to. Who knows, maybe I'll come back and get better food at some point, and actually raise the star rating. It's likely there was just an off sandwich day for them. Sandwich I got: 3 stars Coxinha I got: 5 stars Parking: 2 stars I came here as a part of my first ever UYE event, and it was regarding sandwiches. (Shout out for Lindy for putting it together!) While I don't usually buy sandwiches at restaurants, I have been craving them lately. My philosophy is this: if I can make it cheaper AND better, what's the point of buying it when I go out? So the least I can do is get a sandwich I don't usually have the ingredients handy to make it at home. They have paper menus here, but also a small digital backboard with menus. Even standing directly in from of the counter, it was hard to read. It's not very eyesight-impaired friendly, because the font was decidedly small. I settled on a bacon and cheese panini, and got one of those coxinhas (pronounced co-chee-NAH), after getting an explanation as to what it was. Well the coxinha was masterful. It was an absolutely heavenly combination of crispy fried exterior, and cheesy melty interior, with shredded chicken. I mean, the angels sang in my head as I ate it. Anyone who knows me how much I like cheese, and this was fried cheese dipped in the nectar of the gods. If only my sandwich could have compared. The bacon was the kind they sell at deli counters that's... "pre-cooked".... *shivers* I know my bacon enough to know how bacon should taste when it's cooked, and I've had the misfortune to eat pre-cooked bacon that is simply re-heated. That was, without a doubt, what it was. And the cheese was weird. It can only be described as putting cheese on only half the sandwich, so that when It melted, only half the sandwich had any cheese on it. And the part that had the cheese masked the bacon all right, so most people probably wouldn't even be able to tell the bacon was pre-cooked. But on that un-cheesed side, oh I could tell. PROS: Fast, more or less efficient service. Get the coxinhas, if you get nothing else. They were amazing. For a sandwich and coxinha, it ran me around $8 with a tip. (I always wonder if I'm supposed to give a tip in places like this, or if it's just a nice gesture?) CONS: Parking was ridiculous. After circling the lot three times, I had to park down the street in the back of another restaurant that had an upholstered loveseat hanging outside of it. Impatient staff. They wanted you to order RIGHT NOW, even if you didn't know what the foods were, exactly. THE VERDICT: I would come back, to try another sandwich and hoard up on the coxinhas. But I would come at a different time, so that parking isn't s much of an issue and they aren't rushing to complete my order. Yes, it came out quickly, but the preparation was sloppy. Tips: I'd recommend getting there a little earlier than the lunch rush, so you can get both a decent parking space and a decent seat. Brazilian Bakery is a cafe that serves pastries, baked goods, breakfast, and sandwiches. I've been here twice and both times have been pretty good. My first visit I ordered the BB Fillet which is a steak sandwich with ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, corn, potato sticks, a small baby, and a used tampon. No no, kidding. There was no used tampon. But yeah, this had so much going on with it, but it was really good. Everything worked well. You get a lot of food for cheap. The bread they use was good. My 2nd visit I had the Lombinho which is a grilled pork loin sandwich with ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pineapple and potato stick. I love this sandwich. I'm such a huge fan of grilled pineapple with pork. Really not much to say. Try it...you won't be disappointed. Other little things I've had include Coxinha French fries Yucca sticks The coxinha is a fried ball of chicken and mozzarella. Really good and very filling. The chicken is really packed in there, and the mozzarella is in every bite. Two of these could probably get someone full. The french fries are like McDonalds fries w/o salt and all of the grease. Yucca sticks are pretty much the latino steak fries. Pretty good and you get a lot. Throw some ketchup on them and you're good. I had some of there dessert pastries, but I couldn't tell you what it was. It was some sort of pie with chocolate mousse and a vanilla cream and cookies on top. Very good. I was already full before ordering, but I just kept on eating.

PAN DE QUEIJO They have small and large. The little ones are so good. Cheese bread with Parmesan on the inside. COXINHA Doughy pear shaped fritters with chicken on the inside. Absolutely delicious Brazilian food. They ran out just as I got there but the cook told me a new batch was coming if I can wait about 10 minutes. Of course I can. PINEAPPLE JUICE WITH MINT Very good pineapple juice with tons of small pieces of mint blended into the drink. Bakery is very clean and nice. Menus are on large tvs and they are quite fast on getting food out.

I'm a Brazilian who comes to this place a lot.. The place itself is a nice place and the people who work there are always nice! The food is really good but if you're going for an actual meal it might be worth it for you to try the buffets around the area.
I love love love this place- I don't think I can say love enough! everytime I go to Roswell - Marietta I have to get my Brazilian food dose. there are a lot of Brazilian restaurants in the area. this is by far my favorite & I have tried a lot of places. the suco d maracujá is by far the bestest I've had- I don't care what anyone says to me. they offer sandwiches and pasta, and ethnic foods. my favorite is the build your own pasta special they have. i eat this whenever I go. the pastries are baked fresh & they are so delicious. I recently was there around Easter & I got a huge ovo (the chocolate egg for Easter) I got two of them since it was so convenient for them to sell them here. made Easter better by far! they sell some items from Brazil. (coffee, breads, drinks, etc) also the cashiers do speak English! so if you're scared to try because you feel there will be a language barrier this is NOT THE CASE HERE. :) it's a plus! the service is great & the food is even better. prices are not expensive at all. you do get a lot portion wise for what you pay for so that's also a plus. the interior is spacious! there are a lot of tables inside. it's always clean. CAKE!! That's the first thing you notice when you walk into the Brazilian Bakery Cafe. BFF asked me to pick up dessert for her birthday celebration. I usually grab two cakes from Piece of Cake each year, but decided to switch it up a bit. I called the Brazilian Bakery about ordering two cakes for the special occasion. The person I spoke with was extremely friendly over the phone. I already knew that I wanted to order a coconut cake and a strawberries and cream cake. These cakes usually come in 12" size that feeds about 15-20 people. I asked if they happen to make them any smaller. She went to find out and told me that they would be happy to make them in 10" size for me. Score! She said that the 10" feeds 10-15 people. Honestly, you could probably feed more than 15 people with one of those. They were huge. Both of the cakes were delicious and I had to restrain myself from eating way too much of each of them. The cakes ran about $35 each. The Brazilian Bakery also has a wide variety of sandwiches and other desserts. Everything that I've tried there has been really good. They get packed during prime eating times, but the lines move quickly.

I'm quite adventurous when it comes to food or trying new things, in general. this was definitely a first for me. I've never had brazilian food before and I was quite skeptical to be honest. there isn't all that many brazilian restaurants throughout atlanta, so that type of thought kind of got to me..but anyways I'm so glad I tried it! | LOCATION: | to me, the cafe doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. you would really have to look for it. what helps is knowing that it's literally straight across from the micro center off of delk rd/powers ferry rd. | ATMOSPHERE: | the interior gives off a super casual bakery feel, if that makes any sense. don't expect to see themed out interior like la madeleine, cafe intermezzo, or what not. there's minimal decorations and color. | FOOD: | the food choices are listed on the big board above the cash register. you can choose from: hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, pizzas, salads, tortas, and sides. the pastries are not listed on the board, but they're to the left of the register..in a glass display. on the downside, there are no labels for what each pastry or cake is. the cashier will not tell or explain each one..UNLESS you ask them to. for me and the bf, we decided to order 2 sandwiches [bb fillet & bb lombinho] and shared 3 pastries [2 coxinha & a passion fruit mousse] + bb fillet {beef steak, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, corn, and potato sticks} latinos really love their meat; as so do I! beef AND pork (ham)?! yes please! everything sounded awesome, 'til I saw the last park of the description of the sandwich. potato sticks?? wtheck is that?! we shrugged and went for it and WOW! who knew such weird combinations made such great sandwiches? the corn and potato sticks created such a nice crunch to the sandwich. the corn definitely added the sweet factor to the sandwich, which was a very nice touch. + bb lombinho {pork loin w/ ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pineapple, and potato sticks} for the lombinho sandwich, they do let you choose between the options of regular pork loin or a bbq marinated pork loin. for our sandwich, we chose to stick to the original -- just regular pork loin. we thought the pineapple was a good touch to the sandwich. definitely unique. we've had burgers w/ pineapple inside, but never a sandwich. again, everything worked together as a sweet, sweet harmony. + coxinha random fact: conxinha is portuguese for "little chicken thigh" and that's exactly what this little swelled up pastry looks like. okay..so this pastry doesn't look like the most appetizing thing in the world. it just looks so plain and..just like any piece of fat, fried dough would look. we didn't kno what was filled inside. we just knew that was something recommended. when we bit into it, it was amazing how moist it was. the contradiction of the dry outer fried dough, paired with such moistness of the chicken and the cheese...just yum! man...I'm wanting some right now..dangit!! + passion fruit mousse they make 2 of these. you have the choice of choosing the one that's just the mousse by itself and it's inside of a plastic container OR you can pick the more artistic looking one -- the mousse sits inside of a chocolate shell. I definitely picked the one that looked like it took more work! it's hard finding passion fruit flavored food/deserts in atlanta tho..so I had to go for it. all I have to say about this desert is...it was such a fail for me. I really wanted to like it but it was wayyy too sweet for me. not only that but the more you eat it, the more bitter it gets. the passion fruit flavor was there, but it was way too weak for me. | SERVICE: | well, there really isn't any service. not the type you'd expect at a restaurant, at least. you order at the register and order whatever you please. it's a seat yourself type of environment and that also means you clean up after yourself. there's two trashcans by the door that you can empty your trays and trash in. definitely will be back though!

There are several Brazilian bakeries in the area but out of all of this is my favorite. Great service. They speak English and Spanish and they are willing to explain what's in every pastry. My personal favorite are coxinha, a pear shaped stuffed potato with chicken and cheese, pasteis de carne, and the passion fruit mousse. Must try!

This place was pretty good! They have a veritable smorgasbord of options available to choose from. I had the fillet sandwich (cooked medium rare, very tasty!) with a slice of chocolate cake to go with that. I also had a smoothie, which they do custom with whatever ingredients you'd like. The fillet sandwich was a flavor explosion in my mouth without being overwhelming. The quality and texture of the bread was phenomenal. I would've expected nothing less than that, being that this is a bakery. I will need to explore the other options out there. So good! The smoothie I had had açaÃ, strawberry, and a few other tasty ingredients. It wasn't as blow-you-away as the one my girlfriend had, but it was still a delight. The quality was top notch, and you can tell they freshly made it. Lastly, but not least, the cake. Oh man, the cake. That was super moist and delightful. They price the slices by weight, so you can have as large or as small a slice as you'd like. Very tasty! I normally detest excessive icing on cakes, but this is one of the exceptions. They had a perfect ratio of icing to cake and it was absolutely heaven. I'll be back.

I tried the Fillet Sandwich it was really good. I've never had a sandwich with corn and potato sticks inside but it all seemed to work. I also tried the chicken croquete. It had great flavor and was more filling than it looked when I ordered it. The counter gal was very nice and helpful and my food came out quickly. I try to plan a visit to a different spot about 3-4 times a month to step outside of our comfort zones. I came across Brazilian Bakery in my search for a late night dessert restaurant. I saw many wonderful reviews and decided to give it a try. We arrived at 10:45pm and there were quite a few patrons. This being our first time we inquired a little. In the end, we ordered a "coxinha" (fried dough stuffed with chicken and mozzarella), brigadera, slice of strawberry cheesecake, and another dessert that I don't know the name. What can I say, everything was delicious. We decided we would go back for lunch one day soon to try the sandwiches. This was a very nice experience to try a new cuisine.

One of my co-workers met my husband and me for dinner here one night. I've never been here before and he said to me "Ready for the Brazilian Bakery tonight?" I said "Sure, what's it called." He says "Brazilian Bakery". I said "Yeah, what's it called." I'm a lot smarter than I seem. Trust me. So I walk into this place in a side of town I'm very familiar with and I realize that I've never noticed the strip mall. As soon as you walk in, it's sort of like a deli & bakery lay out. The first thing you see is CAKE, glorious, delicious looking cake. But I can't have dessert before dinner. I ordered the BB FRANGO which is grilled chicken breast, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, corn, and potato sticks. My husband ordered the BB BACON which is hamburger, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, corn, potato sticks and bacon. To clear the air, both sandwiches were a thing of perfection. The bread was soft and chewy. Overall I can't boast more about a sandwich. I put a little Texas Pete's hot sauce on there and it added a whole new level of amazing. I tried my husband's sandwich, and even though I can feel the cholesterol coursing through my veins, I knew this would be a sweet way to go into cardiac arrest. Speaking of cardiac arrest, we also had something that reminded me of an over-sized fried wonton with barbeque pork in it. It's like a pizza puff on steroids. And that's not all. It's a bakery, people. They have small desserts and cookies as well as cakes. I decided to do your typical white cake with whipped frosting with banana and strawberry filling. My husband decided to go for red velvet cake. What is pretty awesome about this place is you can tell them how much you want. Then they put the cake on a plate and weight it. YOU PAY BY THE WEIGHT FOR YOUR CAKE. Not to mention their cake is moist and delicious. You can also buy a loaf of the bread they use for the sandwiches in their bakery which was one of my favorite parts of the meal. Eat your weight in cake and enjoy.

We came here for dessert after dinner at Folia's. Keeping the date night Brazilian! I have been here a few times, and never been disappointed. Good food, casual feel, & great service! First time, we were here for breakfast. I ordered a BB MISTO (Grilled ham and cheese), and coffee with steamed milk. Both items were tasty, especially the coffee! I bought a bag of rolls, a few of those BOLINHA DE QUEIJO (better known as the cheese rolls), and a bag of coffee to take home. All were enjoyed! Second time & third time....SWEETS ONLY! We ordered a slice of a too pretty to eat chocolate goodness cake. Slices are no joke here! I could've easily shared that slice with everyone in the place, and still been satisfied! Very good, but super duper rich! MUST HAVE MILK! My recent visit I took a variety of sweet goodness home! I posted a picture of several of the items that were highly suggested to me by the nice guy that worked there. I got one of the BOLINHA DE LEITE NINHO, which is the chocolate truffle to the top right of the picture. Also below it, the guava, chocolate mouse, which was my FAV! I couldn't resist the chocolate covered strawberry to the left, top! It was ok, too much condensed milk for me. The desserts are RICH! Get yourself a big, glass of milk before attempting to inhale the sweet goodness!!!

Awesome! My husband took me for lunch after going w someone from work. We were pretty much the only non Brazilians in the place- which is usually a sign of authentic food! The girl taking our order made some good recommendations.... We did one of the fritter things ( sooo good), steak sand, mango smoothie, fries and an espresso ...I look forward to going back! I can add Brazilian to my list of favorite cuisines! I was so excited to check out this cafe. One of my co workers grabbed a few desserts from this establishment. She allowed me to try a few, and I knew I would have to try this place out at a later time. I needed dinner tonight- and this place was on my mind. When I arrived I walked to the counter and was greeted by a young lady. She provided stellar customer service and was very helpful in my decision making process.She made some amazing recommendations. I tried the Coxinha, yucca fries and some type of pastry stuffed with chicken. My dessert for the evening was the passion fruit mousse. I took my order to go, but there was plenty of space available for seating. I must advise that I was there around 9:30 pm. Regarding the food- I enjoyed everything except the yucca fries. They were just bland to me. I am glad I ordered them as I have been curious about how yucca tastes. The passion fruit mousse was heavenly. I had to force myself to stop eating it!! Great service and great food! I think I was better off NOT KNOWING that the "pasteis" exist! As Aimme G. noted, the Frango is amazing. I keep wanting to try the banana one, but I'm also afraid to try it for fear that I'll want one daily. My old stand-by for breakfast is the BB Bauru (grilled ham and cheese with tomato on a crusty roll) and a pineapple-mint juice. YUM! If you don't know what something is, just ask the lovely folks behind the counter. I've never had bad service and I've never been given a strange look for not knowing what something is. Awesome desserts and savories in the glass cases and most of those items are sold by weight. Taking home a pound of cake never felt so right.

Today, was my first time here and I cant wait to go back. I stopped by to have lunch with a mate. Had the Palmito sandwich (with chicken breast, ham, tomatoes, cheese, heart of palm, sweet corn, lettuce and potatoes) and coffee, and loved it. Would like to return to try some of their baked goodies such as the Coxinha and Cheese balls.

The sandwich I got was really good. I think it was called the Frango? Oh gosh...can't remember. But it was a nice size sandwich with sliced chicken, cheese, lettuce, ham, corn, and little teeny tiny fried potatoes. (don't think french fries) Sandwich was great and all the ingredients were fresh. If I grabbed the sandwich and left it would be 5 stars from me. But I didn't.... I ordered a side of fries. I don't recommend the fries and I should of known better. Not that they were horrible, but being a brazilian bakery I expected something exciting for the fries and homemade. These were just plain. Next time I will get some mini bites to go with the sandwich I ordered. And the thing that brought it down to a 3 star was... they charged me 1.30 for a refill of coke - which is ridiculous when they serve it from a paper cup. I ended up paying over 3 dollars for a beverage to go with my meal. I honestly think I will bring my own beverage next time. That just irked me. Do you know how much they make off the coke and to go charge a customer that already paid for one again...is a bit ridiculous. OK maybe I am just cheap. But those things matter to me. So overall..go try out a sandwich and pastries. Skip the fries. And BYOBeverage...ok you probably can't do that. But don't expect a re-fill...

The cakes are the BOMB! None of them will disappoint. The pave is an excellent dessert dish also.I am not a fan of the pastries, because they are not warm, but room temperature/dry. I do like the coconut & corn mini muffins. I love their pineapple and mint drink too. The ambience is very clean and sanitary....which is a big plus for me! The service is ok.

My friend took me over there with my two kids. I ended up buying just about one of everything there. I have eaten a lot of Brazilian food, but by far, this is the best.. It truly is a must try place. I love it. I live in Atlanta, so it is about 18 miles from me, but well worth the drive. I could not believe how cheap the food was. I honestly bought a LOT of food there and only spend around 20 dollars. I will have food for the next 2 days or so from there. That 20 dollars included the meals that my family ate while we were there, PLUS the extra food that I ordered before we left for home. WOW, what a deal and what great quality. Samples of anything that I would like to try. Fast friendly service. Yes, they speak perfect english.. :-) MM GOOD. AAAA++++ Rating in my book.

On the north side of Atlanta and its suburbs, you might notice a lot of Brazilian eateries. A lot. And their storefronts might look questionable at best from the window of your car. Brazilian Bakery, however, should not be passed by. It's at the end of a little strip mall with a South American grocery at the other end, a few salons and a smoke shop in the middle. Easy to miss and easy to confuse with the thousands of other similar strip malls along main drags in Cobb. Nearly every customer is Brazilian, which is a good sign for the quality of the goods. The cases of baked goods do not have labels or prices; you will have to ask. Luckily the staff speaks perfect English and is very helpful. The menu is in Portuguese first, and English second. Don't be alarmed by the tiny numbers next to dollar signs; the prices really are THAT good. So is the food. Pasteis are deep-fried pockets of cheese, meat, and other fillings both sweet and savory. The dough is sort of like an empanada, or a beignet, or a fried pie...it will remind you of many delicious things. They come in two sizes, but be warned: the small is actually very large. Think personal pizza size. If you are not very adventurous, there are sandwiches and salads on the menu as well. The bread is a crispy fresh roll, and the fillings are as good as anywhere else. If you ARE looking for something out of the ordinary, try the banana sandwich. Fried bananas and mozzarella cheese. It is definitely an odd combination, and you either love it or hate it. Don't miss the fresh juices. The honeydew with mint is divine. Hungry for more? Get a dessert. Cakes dripping with strawberries in syrup, rich mousse cups, and other delights await you. If you are looking for an affordable - but not ordinary - way to celebrate an occasion, they do custom cakes. There's a refrigerator case where you can check out some orders awaiting pickup, as well as pick up a bottle of Brazilian soda. Brazilian Bakery is open all day, not closing until 10 at night. Later on weekends.

This place is full of amazing baked goods, helpful staff and the prices are great. The pastel (fried dough stuffed with various fillings) are great - especially the one with chicken and green olives. I like to order their Avocado milk shake (it's sweetened with condensed milk). There is seating inside so you can eat on the premises too.

This place is THE perfect place for cheap sweets and meals if you ever get the late-night munchies. They really do let you sample a few of the desserts, since they don't display the names next to each item (which would be really helpful). BUT the people that work there themselves are helpful already, especially if you look like you're confused on what's what. They are great at describing the ingredients in each dessert, which makes it so much harder to choose just one. Did I mention how inexpensive they are? If I really wanted to gain weight and grow cavities one weekend, I'd be here buying one, two or four of everything for...hmmmm, $20, give or take. The store hours run from early morning, 7or 8am, I believe, to 10pm on weekdays and midnight on Fridays and weekends. It's mine and my friends' late-night haven since everything else here in East Cobb shuts down early. Their desserts aren't the only things I love. They have this chicken pizza thing that's topped with a plethora of corn that's absolutely AMAZING!! If I knew the name I would tell you, but I just mooched off my friend's plate since I couldn't take looking at it without asking for a bite. The whiff of the plate itself made me weak in the knees when it first came out from the kitchen. It won't be long til my next visit!

My suggestion go hungry and order a X-Tudo or Shes-Two-Doe for those who don't speak Portuguese. It basically means WITH EVERYTHING! Man that thing is enormous and enormously good! I've eaten here a few times now, and remain a huge fan. As others have noted, you must get a coxhinha! It is absolutely moutwatering. They are not on the menu, though I'm not sure why. They make them throughout the day and put them in the case. Just a fried ball of goodness stuffed with chicken and cheese. Mmmmmm. I've also had the various BB sandwiches, my favorite probably being the BB bacon. They put corn and potato sticks in many of their sandwiches and while it may sound rather odd - I can assure you it's quite tasty. We dropped by on July 4th and put together a couple of boxes of their cookies to take to cookouts. They have some interesting flavors and were generally pretty good. Unfortunately, I can't remember the names of any of them, but one was like a shortbread cookie with one end dipped in chocolate. Very good. They also have guava pastries. I'm a big fan of guava. The place is clean and well-lit, with plenty of seating. You will not be disappointed.

OK, after two visits, I am gonna jump in and offer my two cents. Bear in mind, I stayed safe and ordered the sandwiches and fresh pineapple juice for my two lunch visits. The sandwiches are well done and juice was delicious. Price wise, that's almost $10 w/ tax. That being said, I feel the management can do a little better by offering some combo meals to entice more repeat visits. In addition, it will allow newbies a chance to try out various varieties on their offering. One thing I always notice w/ immigrants who tries hard to make it in the U.S., they sometimes lack "marketing" and "presentation" to attract a broader U.S. audience. If anyone related or involved w/ this restaurant's management, please pass this along. A $8 combo meal w/ a sandwich, authentic drink, and a dessert or snack isn't too unreasonable. For the menu board, some pictures and larger lettering will also help. Last, maybe a partially open kitchen, no need to reveal the whole kitchen but just enough to show who is cooking the food? In closing, I am glad there is an alternative in this part of town, it needs it.

One of my fave place for cheap eats in my neighborhood. The pastel (empanadas) are yummo and you get a huge serving for little to nothing. My fave pasteles here are the Frango which is shredded chicken simmered in a sauce similar to bbq but lighter and tangier. Also the Camaro which is a shrimp cooked in a cream sauce with black olives. Their Lombino sandwich is also to die for!

The area surrounding the intersection of Powers Ferry and Delk Rd, is fast becoming a Little Brazil. Based on my experience at The Brazilian Bakery, this is a very good thing. Their employees are very friendly, and the majority of them speak English. Probably because of the cultural differences, they are extremely willing to let you sample the food before you buy it. When I bought some guava cookies without sampling them, the man behind the counter looked confused and almost concerned. The food is extremely affordable, and they do have vegetarian options like banana or heart of palms pastries and sandwiches. There is usually a fried and un-fried version of the lunch/dinner items, so you are still in control of your caloric destiny, although, admittedly, their flan is about the consistency of cheesecake.They have fresh juice which is often paired with mint, and is not something to be feared. And although I am usually drawn to chocolate, after trying their passion fruit mousse, that brownish stuff seemed extremely dull. I highly recommend it--but they do sometimes sell out. Be prepared to ask what everything is, but they will be happy to explain.

Incredible food. A must try. Everything is fresh and baked with that home touch. I had an increditble chocolate dessert with lady fingers and it was sinfully good. I don't know the traditional names of the food but the rolls with meat are tasty as were the hard rolls filled with dolche de leche. Yummy. The only downside is that it's a little confusing and slow when ordering. You basically point and they do it separately by weight so if you want to try everything like me, just plan to be patient. If I were to consult or provide a tip to the staff I would say....come up with a way to be a little more speedy and accomodating and you will grow your business. You have something good but why not make a few minimal changes to make it better? It certainly isn't a diet friendly place but most bakeries aren't haha!

Pretty and Tasty desserts. I haven't eaten much other items off the menu but all the desserts I have tried I have liked. The chocolate covered strawberries and definitely different than I expected but I ended up really liking it. The cheese filled little Danish balls were good but not great, expected a smoother cheese. Don't sleep on May-day (Marietta), don't sleep. There are some food gems on that side of town. The foreign pastry game will expand your taste buds beyond whatever it can handle. Delicious cookies that will have you day dreaming if you were on the coast below the equator on Ipanema Beach!!! You definitely have to try the coxhinhas!! Tell that I sent 'cha! Stopped by here to get a cup of coffee while waiting for the printers to get done and was happy I bypassed a major coffee company (ahem sbux) and wandered in here. I got a cup of cafe con leche and a coxinha- a fried chicken ball with mozzarella cheese. It was a fried ball of heavenly goodness! I want to go back and buy 5 of them. The rest of the food and dessert looked amazing and I'm looking forward to picking up my prints and dropping by here again! Definitely has that friendly Brazilian vibe. This place is LEGIT! True Brazilian staff and costumers. I had no idea what to order, so I asked the guy behind the counter, who suggested a chocolate strawberry thing. Boyfriend ordered a pastry with caramel, which looked like a seashell. We also ordered these cookie things with guava (??) sprinkled with sugar. Whoa!! Amazing! I scored with my selection. It was a chocolate covered strawberry with some kind of custard filling. I couldn't of ordered a more perfect option for me as I am obsessed with chocolate covered strawberries. Boyfriend's pastry with very flaky and buttery. He was quite pleased. The guava cookie things were firm and delicious! The sandwiches looked amazing, so I will definitely be returning for lunch and dessert. Oh yeah... the place was extremely clean and bright. Very nice on the inside. You wouldn't expect this place to be on Powers Ferry.

I first tried the Brazillian Bakery Coxinha at Taste of Marietta and loved it so much that I swore up and down that I would go to their cafe soon and try some other foods, but delayed it until tonight. Man oh man, I should not have waited so long; it was so good! For dinner I had the Coxinha (fried dough stuffed with chicken and mozzarella cheese), Filet Sandwich (steak, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, corn and potato sticks on Brazilian bread), and for desert I had the chocolate covered honey cake. All was so good! The staff here was excellent at helping us decide what we wanted and throughly explained what everything was. Very nice guys. I highly recommend that you check out the bakery soon! As one friend (Christy L.) told me, "Dude. RUN to Brazilian Bakery. It's gooooooooood!"

The Brazilian bakery is across the street from Micro Center. My daughter and I have been known to "make-up" reasons we need computer supplies -- just so that we can have lunch and dessert here. Admitting that you are driving 30 miles for a flan and chicken in a pastry seems silly, but throw in a cheap hard drive and you sound brilliant. The food and smoothies are a spiritual experience! I'm so glad this is a new addition to my little list of dessert spots! People there are so friendly as well and will point out whatever dessert/baked good there is. This place is located in a Brazilian themed shopping plaza up in Cobb county. It's the real deal, not a chain. Has the feel of a place you'd find in south Florida. I had their bacon burger which has bacon, ham, corn, tomato, potato straws, and melted cheese on a brazilian roll. It had a nice flavor to it. Everything tasted fresh. What I mean is that you could tell this wasn't a fast food burger. I've never had corn on a burger before, but it worked relatively well. Also tried the ground beef empanada. Really tasty. It had green olives in it which I thought was a great choice. Fresh pineapple juice with mint. Really great. Got a slice of coconut pineapple cake for dessert. Delish. There's an entire bakery full of tasty looking treats here. I will be back when I get the chance.

Gosh, I really wish that I could find a similar bakery/cafe in LA. I went here twice during my stay in Atlanta... luckily enough it was super close to my buddy's apartment. The staff there was very friendly and I camped out for a bit w/my laptop after enjoying a feijoada (Brazilian national dish - available a few times a week) to enjoy the free WiFi and (not too loud) music being played. The bakery is much larger than I would have thought judging from the outside. It's pretty expansive once inside. And there are so many choices in the glass that it may be a bit overwhelming for newcomers. I brought along a group for breakfast the second time around and we chowed down on a bunch of goodies from kibe, pasteis, coxinhas, and various of pastries. Oh and don't forget the Brazilian coffee. it's just good stuff...

Good stuff. I drove from Decatur on a rainy Saturday night just to satsify my five-month long craving for coxinhas--the Brazilian Bakery delivered. Coxinhas are badass street food snack things. Imagine a ball of chicken, cheese, and yummy flavors rolled up and fried in potato-ey encasement. The result? Creamy, stick to your ribs food. The ones they make here are pretty authentic, and huge. One was enough to fill me up, but it's always good to have back up. The atmosphere is fun and it seems like a place the Brazilian community really rallies behind. Pretty sure I was only the person in there who didn't speak Portuguese, but I didn't feel unwelcome either. My only wish is that the seating areas were a bit more comfy looking and conducive to lingering, because the people watching is GOOD!

So admittedly I picked up all the wrong things... especially when dealing with certain dietary "restrictions" but they all looked sooo good! Everything I picked up was fried, carb loaded, and filled with cheese (those lil' bread rolls) They were all pretty good, but yea I paid dearly for my little binge..lol.. Out of the fried chicken balls and the cheese rolls,I think the Pastelie ( sorry on the spelling) was the one that stood out the most! Just think of a fried puff pastry filled with shredded chicken and hearts of palm..yummy! On the other hand the pineapple mint drink was delicious and refreshing! The staff went out of thier way to explain the different pastries and goodies behind the glass.

business is booming at Brazilian Bakery. like my alliteration? btw, the guys that works there are total eye candies! Anyway, the bakery is spacious and well maintained. I guess they're pretty popping with catering and cakes bc a couple ppl came to pick up foods and make cake orders while my friend and I were there. I have never had any Brazilian goodies before, so I selected several random items; fried chicken balls, mini coconut muffin-thingy, guava w/ cream cheese pastry, chicken croissant, cheese balls, passion fruit custard. The fried chicken balls was one of my favorite; a mix of chicken and cheese in a fried ball of goodness. Mini coconut looked cute, tasted dry. Guava pastry was off the chizzain! I've only had similar guava pastry in Publix bakery back home and honest to goodness, I love Publix baked goods, but their guava pastry was weak! compared to the one here. Chicken croissant was good, wish I could eat this every day for breakfast and not face the consequences. Cheese balls, apparently similar to Japanese cheese balls, was good. It's not stringy or anything, but has the taste of cheese. I mistaken the passion fruit custard for flan bc it had the same color and texture as flan. This dessert was good, but in small dosage for me. It was very sweet, but the passion fruit aroma was definitely there. I'd come back and try more goodies :)

The empayada was better than average. Great crust and the filling was very meaty. I did add some hot sauce to the insides. I felt it lacked the punch of flavor that the empayadas of Puerto Rico and other latin countries I have visited. But all in all, very good for a local fix or craving. I had the Filet sandwhich that had Beef steak, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, corn and potato sticks. Flavor was great, my only suggestion was they used way too much cheese. I would definitely return again.

What happened to this place? Seriously. It used to be great--service, food. The food's pretty much the same, but the whole experience has gone topsy turvy--confused people running the counter, half self-serve/half table service with no clear distinguishing between, what with the counter calling the number and then walking around you to take it to the table as you cross paths. The only thing consistent in this most recent visit was the spectrum of inconsistency. New ownership? Rampant walk-outs? Vacations? There's no telling. Shame, though. Used to be one of my favorite places. Now it's just weird.

It'd been several months since my last visit and today I was craving a Brazilian sandwich. But after scanning the menu on the wall, I decided to try the "Torta Frango" instead which I mistakenly thought would be like a Mexican Tortas but instead was this pie-looking dish that was surprisingly heavy (as in "it weighed a lot") when I carried the dish to my table. (I googled "Torta Frango" and it actually means "Brazilian chicken pie".) If you can picture the torta with me - it looked like a slice of apple pie with the puff pastry layer on the top & bottom, and the inside filling was shredded chicken with green olives in tomato sauce on the bottom, and on top of that is a thick layer of cream. Honestly when I saw cream in the menu description I told myself "no i can't" (for cholesterol reasons) but the guy behind the counter told me I needed to try it ... the foodie part of my brain won :) Torta Frango was very good, esp. when hot. And very rich. So I could eat just half. Did I tell you the torta cost just $3.49? That's another reason why I like this place - the prices are very reasonable, too. It also means then you have enough money to treat yourself to one of their many desserts. Since the last time I was here, they expanded their space so I assume business is good. They also sell Brazilian coffee by the pound. Very cute place and cute guys working behind the counter :)

I've become quite the regular of this place..It used to be so hard to find all my favorite little sinful delights that once, could only be had from my times in Brasil... Not since I discovered this little gem! Coxinha's will always be my favorite..Although I dont think I've had one thing from here that I have not loved.. ;o) It would be nice if they would put descriptions of the goods next to them... Having all the details of their cakes would sure make it alot easier to pick one out, rather than basing it off of their appearance. Bolinhos de bacalhau would be a great addition to their menu as well, or something similar to it!

Just as Kristen N. said! "True Brazilian staff and customers". I admit, I was a little intimidated since I am not Brazilian when I first walked in. It seems a lot like a Brazilian hang out. But the food! WOW! Amazing! They have THE softest most moist bread I have ever tasted! You can purchase a whole bag of 12 for $2!!!!! There beef skewers are awesome! The meat is so tender and flavorful and always hot off the grill. The staff isn't the friendliest, but they so make up for it in there food. Doesn't stop me from going! Everything here is super affordable and they are open late! One of my favorite places to visit for exquisite food!!
Friendly staff, seemingly large local following.. We came in here to get some sweets to bring to a party, but we had no idea what anything was. The nice guy behind the counter was friendly and gave us some good suggestions. It was a sweet bonus when he would suggest something, and then hand one over the counter for us to sample before making the decision. They were also cooking some meats on the grill outside, and it smelled delicious.

On my list of places to try AGAIN. A few coworkers go there to pick yummy food and so I decided to try it for lunch. They suggested a few things but of course i forgot the names right away. Was pleasantly surprised when I got there: -its a large space--hugeeeeeeeee counters of baked goods; quite a few tables for dine-in orders -an extensive menu -TEXAS PETE hot sauce on the tables haha -very helpful/nice staff I didnt know what anything was, so I just decided to order a torta with EVERYTHING in it. It was ok.....it had meat (chicken + sauce of some sort), cheese, corn, hearts of palm, etc. The flavor was fine...but got mushy relatively quick. Probably wouldn't order another torta. Also got a fresh juice/smoothie type thing--honeydew+mint. YUM YUM YUM. it was too sweet, and the flavors blended well. The juice wasn't thick nor was it gritty. On the way out, I picked up 2 things which turned out to be PHEASFDKDFNOMENALLLL: -cheesy bread (they sell it by the pound--like $7.00/lb. but I got like 4 small pieces and cost me like $1) -this fried potato ball with chicken filling (around $2) and YUM. both were REALLY outstanding and I would def go back for that. Will need to try more drinks, baked goods, and this bulgar wheat fried ball of something a coworker said was great! -1 star bc the strawberry cheesecake my coworker got turned out to be AWFUL. Though it looked lush and moist and fresh, it was NOT. it was hard and dense, and didnt taste fresh at all.

Brazilian Bakery makes their sandwiches well and prices them fairly. Depending how much you eat, you can get very frugal with your meal here. I just had a beef fillet sandwich, and it tasted delicious. Even though it only cost $5, it was a lot better than sandwiches in other stores that cost similar. The ingredients they use are different than your typical American sandwiches. They can use corn, olives, etc. Also their bread is a crispy Brazilian bread. I like their bread a lot because it tastes good and adds a lot of texture and flavor to the sandwiches. It's just different. I didn't get any sides because I didn't notice them. Afterwards, I did notice they had yucca fries as one of the side items. I love yucca, and I'm definitely going to order that next time. I looked at their baked goods and they looked yummy. They had various cakes and, of course, the Brazilian cheese rolls (my favorite). They also serve smoothies. I haven't tried any of their baked goods or smoothies, but they will be next on the menu. I'm putting this in my regular lunch eating list.

I had their passion fruit mousse and it was delicious! The mousse was cupped in pure milk chocolate and when I mean cupped, the cup is made of chocolate. Wowsie! You can't beat any mousse in a choc cup. My friend had the flan and she said mine tasted better. :). Go check this place eve

Summary: Authentic Brazilian bakery and snack/lunch items, try the Coxinha, Lombinho and Pastel... After Pao De Mel closed, I was looking for another Brazilian bakery, and I guess I found it. Authentic brazilian pastries such as coxinha, pastel and quibe are served, along with guava cookies, sweet breads and other favourites like passionfruit mousse and smoothies/juices with tropical fruits. Reasonably priced lunch place, and I highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic brazilian food off the beaten path. Try the lombinho (pork) sandwich with interesting stuffings like roast pork with cheese, tomato lettuce, corn, pineapple and crispy potato sticks. The coxinha which is shredded chicken covered in batter and fried, and pastel (looks like an empanada). I am not sure if they have the cheese puffs (pao de queijo), but I'll definitely be going back to find out.

Did the weekend suburban trip so decided to try something besides Buford Hwy and Duluth. My friend had heard about this place from her waxer? (not sure what the proper nomenclature is for someone who waxes). This place is great and I wish I would have tried it sooner. Great sandwiches on solid bread for 5 bucks. The coxhina was phenomenal. Really friendly staff who were not annoyed with me and my friend taking a long time to order-- neither one of us know our way around Brazilian food honestly. We also tried a vanilla cream pastry that was delicious and I'm not a sweets person. As a bonus there is a market a couple of doors down that had grilled and roasted meat outside. We tried a steak stick, which was tenderloin on a skewer with a tomato sauce-- may be the best thing I've ever eaten that costs 2 dollars. Was too full to take home the roasted rib roast but judging by the tenderloin I suspect it's amazing. I am already thinking of when I'm going back to both places

I love me a bakery and when I found out that Marietta, GA had a Brazilian bakery honey! im on top of it! I took a group of friends and we literally tried everything! including dishes that are not considered dessert! The Flan! is to die for! and here I thought my father made the best Flan, nope! this place is very clean and peaceful and the clientele is prominently made up of natives which adds to its charm. Hey Brazilian patrons of this restaurant/bakery, why you gotta stare me down when I come in as if I'm some sorta leper or creature you've never seen before? Good thing I go with my Brazilian boyfriend or I'd probably want to run outta here from all the weird stares I get. ANYWAYS, things I've tried: Coxinha: solid. Delicious. I've had a few dry ones though, and I'd prefer it if the cheese inside was less stringy/chewy and more melty/creamy. But that's just my personal preference. Pao de queijo: really, really good. Chewy and crusty at the same time and so cheesy. We'll usually order a dozen to go. Pastel with meat: This beats any empanada I have ever had, ever. It's deep fried and the crust is crispy, greasy, golden brown and delicious. The ground beef inside is seasoned perfectly with just the right amount of saltiness and I love that they add bits of olives in there too. Brigadeiros and beijinhos: I could eat 20 of these. Kibbeh: Tastes like your average, delicious kibbeh. This has a very crispy crust on the outside, which adds extra yumminess. Flan: it was just ok. It didn't taste that fresh and it was almost... chewy? Instead of creamy and eggy. Pineapple juice: it's really sweet. I don't know if they add sugar or something but I had to dilute it with water. The guys who work here are nice and it's open til midnight on the weekends. Mmm, everything they have there looks super yummy and I'm definitely going back there soon. But with my boyfriend.

We have recently discovered this place and been here couple of times and even took friends here. There food is good, however the service that we have received today was outrageous and definitely will keep us away from this place no matter how good their food was. We ordered sandwiches and chicken balls that they are famous for. When we were placing order the guy told us they were out of chicken balls but will have some in just couple of minutes. 10 minutes have gone by and out sandwiches came out. We went to the guy who took our order and asked about chicken balls cuz we say people eating them already?! He said he will get us some in couple of minutes. We decided to just eat sandwiches while waiting, which we did and they started giving out chicken balls again but didn't have anything for us? Needless to say we placed our order before those people even walked in. We told them to just refund us for chicken balls and that we would rather get deserts at that point. They went back and forth trying to find out credit card signed receipt for 10 minutes. We totally felt like idiots and as if we were refunding something we haven't paid for. We got frustrated and walked up to the lady who was going through the receipts and said what is the problem because we have been waiting for a refund for 10 mins already. She just looked at us and basically handed cash just to get rid of us. When we asked for manager she said that it was her and when we explained that situation was handled in the worst possible way she just told us "I didn't know you have waited that long". No apology and nothing followed that. We left all of our drinks and desserts and then got the hell out of that place. Too bad that people who work there do not appreciate customers! Shame on you!

Thank you, fellow Yelpers. I was looking for someplace to grab lunch with a friend, and you guys have done me right yet again. Not only was this place right around the corner from where I needed to be (OK, that was just luck), but the price and taste were amazing. I would not have found this place otherwise. They have many different baked goods. They aren't labeled, but the staff answered all my questions. I had the fried pastries for lunch...a small BBQ Chicken and a small banana. The large ones are pretty good sized...make sure you see how big these things are before ordering. Either way though, it was a great quick lunch, and it was very inexpensive. I wish I lived closer so I could go more often.

yum. go. right now. and get the coxinha. I think it looks like a teardrop. It's basically chicken filling inside with other stuff, with the outside lightly fried. Tastes really good with hot sauce available on the tables. Tastes just as good the next day if you heat it back up. One is about $2.20 and fills you up pretty good. I also like the passion fruit mousse - it comes in a plastic cup and is on display next to the cakes. Speaking of, cakes are priced by weight, so I would recommend getting a small slice to make sure you like it. I got a huge slice of the lime cake and thought it tasted weird at first. Got used to it eventually, but not that great imo. Appearance-wise, all the cakes definitely looks pretty though. Mini pastries, I haven't found any great ones. I plan to try out a couple everytime to go for a chicken ball. Recommend the fillet sandwich. BB chicken was kinda dry. Bread used in sandwich has hard outside, soft inside - it's pretty tasty.

I ate at BB last night, and was very satisfied with my experience! We ordered several dishes: Pastry ball filled with chicken and cheese -absolutely divine. This was my favorite item. The consistency and texture felt like heaven in my mouth. It consists of a crispy fried-like outer covering and inside was shredded chicken, cheese, and some other ingredients. It's not on the menu, but apparently it's one of the most popular pastry items. Sooo recommended! Banana Sandwich -very different, but in a good way! Warm soft bread with mushy banana and melted cheese in between. It's a sweet sandwich, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Torta with shredded chicken and heart of palm -a heavy, thick slice of a pie filled with shredded chicken, olives, a tomato-based sauce, and a light fluffy cream-like substance (which I think is the heart of palm). Also a great dish, and very filling! Chicken pastry with BB sauce -similar taste to the torta mentioned above, but instead the chicken is in a flat fried empanada-looking shell. Pretty good, but probably wouldn't order it again. The total only came out to be about $12 and we were full and had leftovers. So it's super affordable! The food is so fresh and amazing! The service is also great, the employees are pretty young, but they're super helpful with recommendations and explaining the menu. I have consistently been surprised with some of the ethnic gems I've been discovering around Marietta, and this one definitely ranks top as one of them!

What a find. We were in town for a couple of days and we're hankering for desert. Lo and behold we found this place; it was packed at 8:10 in the evening! What a treat! Cake soaked in chocolate sauce and the individual "fudge" ball was soooo rich. I think every Brazilian in the Atlanta area came by while we were eating.

I would like to rate BB a little higher but they cut corners too much on ingredients. No requeijão? If it's expensive, there's a sub using muenster and cream cheese that's pretty legit. It's better than salty chicken + dry mozzarella coxinha. If I was in the area maybe I'd go back for the sadistic attitude from the cashiers but Roswell has some better places.

Truth is, their items are a real hit or miss. (5) Coxinha - their best item by far. Unfortunately sometimes they are dry (when they chop the chicken up a lot), sometimes they are moist (hand-shredded or chopped a little less), sometimes they are real doughy (ugh, my least favorite). Most of the time, they are moist. Recently they've started to remind me of Costco's chicken bakes. (4.5) Pao de quiejo: I couldn't stop popping these in the car...yucca dough filled cheese balls. I hear this is a popular snack in Brazil, and I see why! Yum. (3) Sandwiches, frango ao crema, pasteis, etc: are fine, but they raised the prices so I'm not as inclined to get these. Their pasteis are super greasy and not appealing for me. The chicken cream pie (frango ao crema) is pretty huge but I was surprised at how "jiggly" it was. I was hoping for a lush creme filling, but it's more condensed Campbell's cream of something on top, like right out of the can. (1) Most of their dessert items - absolute miss for me. Diabetically sweet in all (I'm like 99% sure they use corn syrup, and you can taste it) and artificially tasting in others. The only way I can describe their desserts is that they lack...refinement. Like the shells for the chocolate bonbons are super thick, the coconut balls are super sweet and dry, the strawberry cheesecake is regular cheesecake covered in a gloopy strawberry topping, etc. Tried a few of their cakes too and meh....looks fabulous, tastes mediocre. Honestly haven't been that happy with any of their desserts. :(

I always receive great service when I visit, the employees at the counter are very helpful with explaining the menu. I like the pastries filled with hearts of palm and you can't go wrong with the cheese rolls, they also sell them frozen so you can bake them at home. Hope to try some of the cakes on my next visit, they look good!

I'm kind of leaning toward a 3.5 on this one. I've been lots of times and have sampled tons of their items, and the truth is it's been hit or miss for me. The absolute best item, in my opinion, is the coxinha. I could eat those things every day. Crispy outside, rich inside, and super flavorful. Just to die for! The sandwiches are good, but nothing spectacular. The Fillet is tasty, but I was decidedly underwhelmed by the other sandwiches I've tried. I am not a fan of the cakes I've eaten here at all. They were moist, but sorely lacking in flavor. A real bummer since they're so lovely to look at.

I'm posting a review update for Brazilian Bakery Cafe after returning multiple times and trying some new items. While I've only been to a handful of Brazilian restaurants in Atlanta ( yelp.com/list/obrigado-b… ), Brazilian Bakery still stands out to me as the best non-churrascaria (steakhouse) Brazilian restaurant in the Atlanta metro. The bakery is popular. A steady flow of customers comes for dine-in and take-out. Therefore, fresh-cooked goods are always coming out from the kitchen. The food is tasty and affordably priced and the service is quick. Not a whole lot more you can ask for. Definitely order a coxinha. In Portuguese, coxinha means "little chicken thigh." These aren't chicken thighs, however. They're pear-shaped, chicken thigh-sized croquettes filled with tender shredded chicken and an absolutely delicious cream sauce made with tomato, onion, parsley, and cheese. These things don't look like much from the outside, but they might be the tastiest thing at Brazilian Bakery. The outer breading is fine, soft, and crisp. The filling is succulent. If you don't see any in one of the display cases, ask the staff. More than likely, a new batch can be cooked up in the kitchen in about 10 minutes. I still recommend the Fillet (steak) and Tudo (hamburger, grilled chicken) sandwiches. The Fillet is outstanding. Another sandwich I've tried is the Lombinho, which contains a pork loin, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pineapple, and potato sticks. It's a big sandwich with plenty of tender pork loin and fresh fruit and vegetables. The loin isn't too oily and the ripe pineapples give the sandwich a sweet flavor. The small potato sticks add a crunchy consistency to the sandwich. It's good stuff, though the Fillet still wins as my favorite sandwich. Either way, you can't go wrong. Sandwiches are about $6-8 each. If you're not in the mood for a sandwich, consider a torta. Brazilian Bakery's tortas aren't to be confused with Mexican tortas (sandwiches). The tortas here are savory pies filled with meat and other ingredients. They're about $5-6 each. You can get a pie made with hearts of palm, chicken alfredo, or a bolognese sauce. I've tried the Frango ao Creme torta which is a chicken and cream pie. Two slices of pie are served with each order. The chicken and cream pie consisted of two levels: (1) a bottom level with marinated and spiced shredded chicken and (2) an upper level of cream. There's a lot of cream. It kind of tastes like the cream you find in cream of mushroom soup. If you like those types of soups, you'll like this pie. Save room for dessert. The desserts are unique and come in a variety of flavors and sizes, so there's something for almost everyone. If you like soda, grab a Guarana Antartica Brazilian soda from the fridge. It's sweet and refreshing. Service is good. The physical space of the restaurant has changed slightly since my last review. The walls are nicer and they've added a partition to the dining room. The restaurant is still bright and clean. Parking can get tight on weekends, but it's generally not a problem. Just about everything in my original review still applies, so feel free to read it below to learn more about the restaurant and possible other items to order.

So many factors are coming into this rating. Here's what it boils down to. Who knows, maybe I'll come back and get better food at some point, and actually raise the star rating. It's likely there was just an off sandwich day for them. Sandwich I got: 3 stars Coxinha I got: 5 stars Parking: 2 stars I came here as a part of my first ever UYE event, and it was regarding sandwiches. (Shout out for Lindy for putting it together!) While I don't usually buy sandwiches at restaurants, I have been craving them lately. My philosophy is this: if I can make it cheaper AND better, what's the point of buying it when I go out? So the least I can do is get a sandwich I don't usually have the ingredients handy to make it at home. They have paper menus here, but also a small digital backboard with menus. Even standing directly in from of the counter, it was hard to read. It's not very eyesight-impaired friendly, because the font was decidedly small. I settled on a bacon and cheese panini, and got one of those coxinhas (pronounced co-chee-NAH), after getting an explanation as to what it was. Well the coxinha was masterful. It was an absolutely heavenly combination of crispy fried exterior, and cheesy melty interior, with shredded chicken. I mean, the angels sang in my head as I ate it. Anyone who knows me how much I like cheese, and this was fried cheese dipped in the nectar of the gods. If only my sandwich could have compared. The bacon was the kind they sell at deli counters that's... "pre-cooked".... *shivers* I know my bacon enough to know how bacon should taste when it's cooked, and I've had the misfortune to eat pre-cooked bacon that is simply re-heated. That was, without a doubt, what it was. And the cheese was weird. It can only be described as putting cheese on only half the sandwich, so that when It melted, only half the sandwich had any cheese on it. And the part that had the cheese masked the bacon all right, so most people probably wouldn't even be able to tell the bacon was pre-cooked. But on that un-cheesed side, oh I could tell. PROS: Fast, more or less efficient service. Get the coxinhas, if you get nothing else. They were amazing. For a sandwich and coxinha, it ran me around $8 with a tip. (I always wonder if I'm supposed to give a tip in places like this, or if it's just a nice gesture?) CONS: Parking was ridiculous. After circling the lot three times, I had to park down the street in the back of another restaurant that had an upholstered loveseat hanging outside of it. Impatient staff. They wanted you to order RIGHT NOW, even if you didn't know what the foods were, exactly. THE VERDICT: I would come back, to try another sandwich and hoard up on the coxinhas. But I would come at a different time, so that parking isn't s much of an issue and they aren't rushing to complete my order. Yes, it came out quickly, but the preparation was sloppy. Tips: I'd recommend getting there a little earlier than the lunch rush, so you can get both a decent parking space and a decent seat. Brazilian Bakery is a cafe that serves pastries, baked goods, breakfast, and sandwiches. I've been here twice and both times have been pretty good. My first visit I ordered the BB Fillet which is a steak sandwich with ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, corn, potato sticks, a small baby, and a used tampon. No no, kidding. There was no used tampon. But yeah, this had so much going on with it, but it was really good. Everything worked well. You get a lot of food for cheap. The bread they use was good. My 2nd visit I had the Lombinho which is a grilled pork loin sandwich with ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pineapple and potato stick. I love this sandwich. I'm such a huge fan of grilled pineapple with pork. Really not much to say. Try it...you won't be disappointed. Other little things I've had include Coxinha French fries Yucca sticks The coxinha is a fried ball of chicken and mozzarella. Really good and very filling. The chicken is really packed in there, and the mozzarella is in every bite. Two of these could probably get someone full. The french fries are like McDonalds fries w/o salt and all of the grease. Yucca sticks are pretty much the latino steak fries. Pretty good and you get a lot. Throw some ketchup on them and you're good. I had some of there dessert pastries, but I couldn't tell you what it was. It was some sort of pie with chocolate mousse and a vanilla cream and cookies on top. Very good. I was already full before ordering, but I just kept on eating.

PAN DE QUEIJO They have small and large. The little ones are so good. Cheese bread with Parmesan on the inside. COXINHA Doughy pear shaped fritters with chicken on the inside. Absolutely delicious Brazilian food. They ran out just as I got there but the cook told me a new batch was coming if I can wait about 10 minutes. Of course I can. PINEAPPLE JUICE WITH MINT Very good pineapple juice with tons of small pieces of mint blended into the drink. Bakery is very clean and nice. Menus are on large tvs and they are quite fast on getting food out.

My next foodie adventure in Cobb County is Brazilian Bakery Café. It has rave reviews on Yelp. That wasn't the only reason why I tried them out but also because I've never had Brazilian food before and their menu looks so good. I love bakery items, not only for the yummy desserts but also for the fresh baked breads. I was super excited that Brazilian Bakery Café wasn't too far from my workplace. I decided to leave around 11 am to avoid the lunch crowd. When I got there, I was the first customer. I briefly looked at the menu online and when I got there, I totally forgot what I wanted. I was so mesmerized by all the yummy desserts that was looking at me through the glass. The cashier asked me what I wanted, I told him I have no idea because I never been there before. He asked me what I had in mine. I just told him I love chicken, lol. He was sweet enough to give me a sample of the Coxinha. He said to me that I have to promise him that I will come back. Oh my freaking goodness, coxinha is the best thing I've tasted since I had Chicken 65. It just looks like a plain fried dough but damn, when you bite into it, it's so moist and flavorful with the tenderness of the chicken & mozzarella cheese melted in my mouth. Just thinking about it again, I want to go back to get it right now. I told the cashier it was sooooo good. I wanted to try something else, I went for a hot sandwich called BB Franco - grill chicken breast, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, corn, & potato sticks. It was really good! But I was still thinking about the Coxinha, lol. I also ordered the pineapple juice with mint. I didn't love it, it wasn't bad, just not my favorite. Of course, I had to have dessert too. I tried the coconut truffle & chocolate mousse. Both were just sooooo good. The coconut truffle was a bit on the thick side but it wasn't overwhelming sweet, neither was the mousse. It's a laid back café so the cashier takes your name and when the food is done call out your name to pick up your food. Seriously, I cannot wait to go back and try more dishes.

I love love love this place- I don't think I can say love enough! everytime I go to Roswell - Marietta I have to get my Brazilian food dose. there are a lot of Brazilian restaurants in the area. this is by far my favorite & I have tried a lot of places. the suco d maracujá is by far the bestest I've had- I don't care what anyone says to me. they offer sandwiches and pasta, and ethnic foods. my favorite is the build your own pasta special they have. i eat this whenever I go. the pastries are baked fresh & they are so delicious. I recently was there around Easter & I got a huge ovo (the chocolate egg for Easter) I got two of them since it was so convenient for them to sell them here. made Easter better by far! they sell some items from Brazil. (coffee, breads, drinks, etc) also the cashiers do speak English! so if you're scared to try because you feel there will be a language barrier this is NOT THE CASE HERE. :) it's a plus! the service is great & the food is even better. prices are not expensive at all. you do get a lot portion wise for what you pay for so that's also a plus. the interior is spacious! there are a lot of tables inside. it's always clean. I go here once a month & it's never been a bad experience. I don't think I'll ever have one. :) I love BB cafe

CAKE!! That's the first thing you notice when you walk into the Brazilian Bakery Cafe. BFF asked me to pick up dessert for her birthday celebration. I usually grab two cakes from Piece of Cake each year, but decided to switch it up a bit. I called the Brazilian Bakery about ordering two cakes for the special occasion. The person I spoke with was extremely friendly over the phone. I already knew that I wanted to order a coconut cake and a strawberries and cream cake. These cakes usually come in 12" size that feeds about 15-20 people. I asked if they happen to make them any smaller. She went to find out and told me that they would be happy to make them in 10" size for me. Score! She said that the 10" feeds 10-15 people. Honestly, you could probably feed more than 15 people with one of those. They were huge. Both of the cakes were delicious and I had to restrain myself from eating way too much of each of them. The cakes ran about $35 each. The Brazilian Bakery also has a wide variety of sandwiches and other desserts. Everything that I've tried there has been really good. They get packed during prime eating times, but the lines move quickly.

We went here on Mother's Day weekend with my mother in law & husband's aunt who are both from Brazil. They loved it (we actually came twice in one day) & we stuffed ourselves with their favorites. The coxinha were some of the best they've had outside of Brazil and the selection of pastéis was amazing. They also have mouse de maracujá which is my husband's favorite! I've never had brazilian food before and I was quite skeptical to be honest. there isn't all that many brazilian restaurants throughout atlanta, so that type of thought kind of got to me..but anyways I'm so glad I tried it! | LOCATION: | to me, the cafe doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. you would really have to look for it. what helps is knowing that it's literally straight across from the micro center off of delk rd/powers ferry rd. | ATMOSPHERE: | the interior gives off a super casual bakery feel, if that makes any sense. don't expect to see themed out interior like la madeleine, cafe intermezzo, or what not. there's minimal decorations and color. | FOOD: | the food choices are listed on the big board above the cash register. you can choose from: hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, pizzas, salads, tortas, and sides. the pastries are not listed on the board, but they're to the left of the register..in a glass display. on the downside, there are no labels for what each pastry or cake is. the cashier will not tell or explain each one..UNLESS you ask them to. for me and the bf, we decided to order 2 sandwiches [bb fillet & bb lombinho] and shared 3 pastries [2 coxinha & a passion fruit mousse] + bb fillet {beef steak, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, corn, and potato sticks} latinos really love their meat; as so do I! beef AND pork (ham)?! yes please! everything sounded awesome, 'til I saw the last park of the description of the sandwich. potato sticks?? wtheck is that?! we shrugged and went for it and WOW! who knew such weird combinations made such great sandwiches? the corn and potato sticks created such a nice crunch to the sandwich. the corn definitely added the sweet factor to the sandwich, which was a very nice touch. + bb lombinho {pork loin w/ ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pineapple, and potato sticks} for the lombinho sandwich, they do let you choose between the options of regular pork loin or a bbq marinated pork loin. for our sandwich, we chose to stick to the original -- just regular pork loin. we thought the pineapple was a good touch to the sandwich. definitely unique. we've had burgers w/ pineapple inside, but never a sandwich. again, everything worked together as a sweet, sweet harmony. + coxinha random fact: conxinha is portuguese for "little chicken thigh" and that's exactly what this little swelled up pastry looks like. okay..so this pastry doesn't look like the most appetizing thing in the world. it just looks so plain and..just like any piece of fat, fried dough would look. we didn't kno what was filled inside. we just knew that was something recommended. when we bit into it, it was amazing how moist it was. the contradiction of the dry outer fried dough, paired with such moistness of the chicken and the cheese...just yum! man...I'm wanting some right now..dangit!! + passion fruit mousse they make 2 of these. you have the choice of choosing the one that's just the mousse by itself and it's inside of a plastic container OR you can pick the more artistic looking one -- the mousse sits inside of a chocolate shell. I definitely picked the one that looked like it took more work! it's hard finding passion fruit flavored food/deserts in atlanta tho..so I had to go for it. all I have to say about this desert is...it was such a fail for me. I really wanted to like it but it was wayyy too sweet for me. not only that but the more you eat it, the more bitter it gets. the passion fruit flavor was there, but it was way too weak for me. | SERVICE: | well, there really isn't any service. not the type you'd expect at a restaurant, at least. you order at the register and order whatever you please. it's a seat yourself type of environment and that also means you clean up after yourself. there's two trashcans by the door that you can empty your trays and trash in. definitely will be back though!

There are several Brazilian bakeries in the area but out of all of this is my favorite. Great service. They speak English and Spanish and they are willing to explain what's in every pastry. My personal favorite are coxinha, a pear shaped stuffed potato with chicken and cheese, pasteis de carne, and the passion fruit mousse. Must try!

This place was pretty good! They have a veritable smorgasbord of options available to choose from. I had the fillet sandwich (cooked medium rare, very tasty!) with a slice of chocolate cake to go with that. I also had a smoothie, which they do custom with whatever ingredients you'd like. The fillet sandwich was a flavor explosion in my mouth without being overwhelming. The quality and texture of the bread was phenomenal. I would've expected nothing less than that, being that this is a bakery. I will need to explore the other options out there. So good! The smoothie I had had açaÃ, strawberry, and a few other tasty ingredients. It wasn't as blow-you-away as the one my girlfriend had, but it was still a delight. The quality was top notch, and you can tell they freshly made it. Lastly, but not least, the cake. Oh man, the cake. That was super moist and delightful. They price the slices by weight, so you can have as large or as small a slice as you'd like. Very tasty! I normally detest excessive icing on cakes, but this is one of the exceptions. They had a perfect ratio of icing to cake and it was absolutely heaven. I'll be back.

I tried the Fillet Sandwich it was really good. I've never had a sandwich with corn and potato sticks inside but it all seemed to work. I also tried the chicken croquete. It had great flavor and was more filling than it looked when I ordered it. The counter gal was very nice and helpful and my food came out quickly. I try to plan a visit to a different spot about 3-4 times a month to step outside of our comfort zones. I came across Brazilian Bakery in my search for a late night dessert restaurant. I saw many wonderful reviews and decided to give it a try. We arrived at 10:45pm and there were quite a few patrons. This being our first time we inquired a little. In the end, we ordered a "coxinha" (fried dough stuffed with chicken and mozzarella), brigadera, slice of strawberry cheesecake, and another dessert that I don't know the name. What can I say, everything was delicious. We decided we would go back for lunch one day soon to try the sandwiches. This was a very nice experience to try a new cuisine.

One of my co-workers met my husband and me for dinner here one night. I've never been here before and he said to me "Ready for the Brazilian Bakery tonight?" I said "Sure, what's it called." He says "Brazilian Bakery". I said "Yeah, what's it called." I'm a lot smarter than I seem. Trust me. So I walk into this place in a side of town I'm very familiar with and I realize that I've never noticed the strip mall. As soon as you walk in, it's sort of like a deli & bakery lay out. The first thing you see is CAKE, glorious, delicious looking cake. But I can't have dessert before dinner. I ordered the BB FRANGO which is grilled chicken breast, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, corn, and potato sticks. My husband ordered the BB BACON which is hamburger, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, corn, potato sticks and bacon. To clear the air, both sandwiches were a thing of perfection. The bread was soft and chewy. Overall I can't boast more about a sandwich. I put a little Texas Pete's hot sauce on there and it added a whole new level of amazing. I tried my husband's sandwich, and even though I can feel the cholesterol coursing through my veins, I knew this would be a sweet way to go into cardiac arrest. Speaking of cardiac arrest, we also had something that reminded me of an over-sized fried wonton with barbeque pork in it. It's like a pizza puff on steroids. And that's not all. It's a bakery, people. They have small desserts and cookies as well as cakes. I decided to do your typical white cake with whipped frosting with banana and strawberry filling. My husband decided to go for red velvet cake. What is pretty awesome about this place is you can tell them how much you want. Then they put the cake on a plate and weight it. YOU PAY BY THE WEIGHT FOR YOUR CAKE. Not to mention their cake is moist and delicious. You can also buy a loaf of the bread they use for the sandwiches in their bakery which was one of my favorite parts of the meal. Eat your weight in cake and enjoy.

We came here for dessert after dinner at Folia's. Keeping the date night Brazilian! I have been here a few times, and never been disappointed. Good food, casual feel, & great service! First time, we were here for breakfast. I ordered a BB MISTO (Grilled ham and cheese), and coffee with steamed milk. Both items were tasty, especially the coffee! I bought a bag of rolls, a few of those BOLINHA DE QUEIJO (better known as the cheese rolls), and a bag of coffee to take home. All were enjoyed! Second time & third time....SWEETS ONLY! We ordered a slice of a too pretty to eat chocolate goodness cake. Slices are no joke here! I could've easily shared that slice with everyone in the place, and still been satisfied! Very good, but super duper rich! MUST HAVE MILK! My recent visit I took a variety of sweet goodness home! I posted a picture of several of the items that were highly suggested to me by the nice guy that worked there. I got one of the BOLINHA DE LEITE NINHO, which is the chocolate truffle to the top right of the picture. Also below it, the guava, chocolate mouse, which was my FAV! I couldn't resist the chocolate covered strawberry to the left, top! It was ok, too much condensed milk for me. The desserts are RICH! Get yourself a big, glass of milk before attempting to inhale the sweet goodness!!!

I can add Brazilian to my list of favorite cuisines! I was so excited to check out this cafe. One of my co workers grabbed a few desserts from this establishment. She allowed me to try a few, and I knew I would have to try this place out at a later time. I needed dinner tonight- and this place was on my mind. When I arrived I walked to the counter and was greeted by a young lady. She provided stellar customer service and was very helpful in my decision making process.She made some amazing recommendations. I tried the Coxinha, yucca fries and some type of pastry stuffed with chicken. My dessert for the evening was the passion fruit mousse. I took my order to go, but there was plenty of space available for seating. I must advise that I was there around 9:30 pm. Regarding the food- I enjoyed everything except the yucca fries. They were just bland to me. I am glad I ordered them as I have been curious about how yucca tastes. The passion fruit mousse was heavenly. I had to force myself to stop eating it!! I think that if you want a comfort food experience, check out this cafe- you will not be disappointed!

Great service and great food! I think I was better off NOT KNOWING that the "pasteis" exist! As Aimme G. noted, the Frango is amazing. I keep wanting to try the banana one, but I'm also afraid to try it for fear that I'll want one daily. My old stand-by for breakfast is the BB Bauru (grilled ham and cheese with tomato on a crusty roll) and a pineapple-mint juice. YUM! If you don't know what something is, just ask the lovely folks behind the counter. I've never had bad service and I've never been given a strange look for not knowing what something is. Awesome desserts and savories in the glass cases and most of those items are sold by weight. Taking home a pound of cake never felt so right.

The sandwich I got was really good. I think it was called the Frango? Oh gosh...can't remember. But it was a nice size sandwich with sliced chicken, cheese, lettuce, ham, corn, and little teeny tiny fried potatoes. (don't think french fries) Sandwich was great and all the ingredients were fresh. If I grabbed the sandwich and left it would be 5 stars from me. But I didn't.... I ordered a side of fries. I don't recommend the fries and I should of known better. Not that they were horrible, but being a brazilian bakery I expected something exciting for the fries and homemade. These were just plain. Next time I will get some mini bites to go with the sandwich I ordered. And the thing that brought it down to a 3 star was... they charged me 1.30 for a refill of coke - which is ridiculous when they serve it from a paper cup. I ended up paying over 3 dollars for a beverage to go with my meal. I honestly think I will bring my own beverage next time. That just irked me. Do you know how much they make off the coke and to go charge a customer that already paid for one again...is a bit ridiculous. OK maybe I am just cheap. But those things matter to me. So overall..go try out a sandwich and pastries. Skip the fries. And BYOBeverage...ok you probably can't do that. But don't expect a re-fill...

The cakes are the BOMB! None of them will disappoint. The pave is an excellent dessert dish also.I am not a fan of the pastries, because they are not warm, but room temperature/dry. My friend took me over there with my two kids. I ended up buying just about one of everything there. I have eaten a lot of Brazilian food, but by far, this is the best.. It truly is a must try place. I love it. I live in Atlanta, so it is about 18 miles from me, but well worth the drive. I could not believe how cheap the food was. I honestly bought a LOT of food there and only spend around 20 dollars. I will have food for the next 2 days or so from there. That 20 dollars included the meals that my family ate while we were there, PLUS the extra food that I ordered before we left for home. WOW, what a deal and what great quality. On the north side of Atlanta and its suburbs, you might notice a lot of Brazilian eateries. A lot. And their storefronts might look questionable at best from the window of your car. Brazilian Bakery, however, should not be passed by. It's at the end of a little strip mall with a South American grocery at the other end, a few salons and a smoke shop in the middle. Easy to miss and easy to confuse with the thousands of other similar strip malls along main drags in Cobb. Nearly every customer is Brazilian, which is a good sign for the quality of the goods. The cases of baked goods do not have labels or prices; you will have to ask. Luckily the staff speaks perfect English and is very helpful. The menu is in Portuguese first, and English second. Don't be alarmed by the tiny numbers next to dollar signs; the prices really are THAT good. So is the food. Pasteis are deep-fried pockets of cheese, meat, and other fillings both sweet and savory. The dough is sort of like an empanada, or a beignet, or a fried pie...it will remind you of many delicious things. They come in two sizes, but be warned: the small is actually very large. Think personal pizza size. If you are not very adventurous, there are sandwiches and salads on the menu as well. The bread is a crispy fresh roll, and the fillings are as good as anywhere else. If you ARE looking for something out of the ordinary, try the banana sandwich. Fried bananas and mozzarella cheese. It is definitely an odd combination, and you either love it or hate it. Don't miss the fresh juices. The honeydew with mint is divine. Hungry for more? Get a dessert. Cakes dripping with strawberries in syrup, rich mousse cups, and other delights await you. If you are looking for an affordable - but not ordinary - way to celebrate an occasion, they do custom cakes. There's a refrigerator case where you can check out some orders awaiting pickup, as well as pick up a bottle of Brazilian soda. Brazilian Bakery is open all day, not closing until 10 at night. Later on weekends.

This place is THE perfect place for cheap sweets and meals if you ever get the late-night munchies. They really do let you sample a few of the desserts, since they don't display the names next to each item (which would be really helpful). BUT the people that work there themselves are helpful already, especially if you look like you're confused on what's what. They are great at describing the ingredients in each dessert, which makes it so much harder to choose just one. Did I mention how inexpensive they are? If I really wanted to gain weight and grow cavities one weekend, I'd be here buying one, two or four of everything for...hmmmm, $20, give or take. The store hours run from early morning, 7or 8am, I believe, to 10pm on weekdays and midnight on Fridays and weekends. It's mine and my friends' late-night haven since everything else here in East Cobb shuts down early. Their desserts aren't the only things I love. They have this chicken pizza thing that's topped with a plethora of corn that's absolutely AMAZING!! If I knew the name I would tell you, but I just mooched off my friend's plate since I couldn't take looking at it without asking for a bite. The whiff of the plate itself made me weak in the knees when it first came out from the kitchen. It won't be long til my next visit!

I've eaten here a few times now, and remain a huge fan. As others have noted, you must get a coxhinha! It is absolutely moutwatering. They are not on the menu, though I'm not sure why. They make them throughout the day and put them in the case. Just a fried ball of goodness stuffed with chicken and cheese. Mmmmmm. I've also had the various BB sandwiches, my favorite probably being the BB bacon. They put corn and potato sticks in many of their sandwiches and while it may sound rather odd - I can assure you it's quite tasty. We dropped by on July 4th and put together a couple of boxes of their cookies to take to cookouts. They have some interesting flavors and were generally pretty good. Unfortunately, I can't remember the names of any of them, but one was like a shortbread cookie with one end dipped in chocolate. Very good. They also have guava pastries. I'm a big fan of guava. The place is clean and well-lit, with plenty of seating. You will not be disappointed.

OK, after two visits, I am gonna jump in and offer my two cents. Bear in mind, I stayed safe and ordered the sandwiches and fresh pineapple juice for my two lunch visits. The sandwiches are well done and juice was delicious. Price wise, that's almost $10 w/ tax. That being said, I feel the management can do a little better by offering some combo meals to entice more repeat visits. In addition, it will allow newbies a chance to try out various varieties on their offering. One thing I always notice w/ immigrants who tries hard to make it in the U.S., they sometimes lack "marketing" and "presentation" to attract a broader U.S. audience. If anyone related or involved w/ this restaurant's management, please pass this along. A $8 combo meal w/ a sandwich, authentic drink, and a dessert or snack isn't too unreasonable. For the menu board, some pictures and larger lettering will also help. Last, maybe a partially open kitchen, no need to reveal the whole kitchen but just enough to show who is cooking the food? In closing, I am glad there is an alternative in this part of town, it needs it.

One of my fave place for cheap eats in my neighborhood. The pastel (empanadas) are yummo and you get a huge serving for little to nothing. My fave pasteles here are the Frango which is shredded chicken simmered in a sauce similar to bbq but lighter and tangier. Also the Camaro which is a shrimp cooked in a cream sauce with black olives. Their Lombino sandwich is also to die for!

The area surrounding the intersection of Powers Ferry and Delk Rd, is fast becoming a Little Brazil. Based on my experience at The Brazilian Bakery, this is a very good thing. Their employees are very friendly, and the majority of them speak English. Probably because of the cultural differences, they are extremely willing to let you sample the food before you buy it. When I bought some guava cookies without sampling them, the man behind the counter looked confused and almost concerned. The food is extremely affordable, and they do have vegetarian options like banana or heart of palms pastries and sandwiches. There is usually a fried and un-fried version of the lunch/dinner items, so you are still in control of your caloric destiny, although, admittedly, their flan is about the consistency of cheesecake.They have fresh juice which is often paired with mint, and is not something to be feared. And although I am usually drawn to chocolate, after trying their passion fruit mousse, that brownish stuff seemed extremely dull. I highly recommend it--but they do sometimes sell out. Be prepared to ask what everything is, but they will be happy to explain.

Incredible food. A must try. Everything is fresh and baked with that home touch. I had an increditble chocolate dessert with lady fingers and it was sinfully good. I don't know the traditional names of the food but the rolls with meat are tasty as were the hard rolls filled with dolche de leche. Yummy. The only downside is that it's a little confusing and slow when ordering. You basically point and they do it separately by weight so if you want to try everything like me, just plan to be patient. If I were to consult or provide a tip to the staff I would say....come up with a way to be a little more speedy and accomodating and you will grow your business. You have something good but why not make a few minimal changes to make it better? It certainly isn't a diet friendly place but most bakeries aren't haha!

Pretty and Tasty desserts. I haven't eaten much other items off the menu but all the desserts I have tried I have liked. Don't sleep on May-day (Marietta), don't sleep. There are some food gems on that side of town. The foreign pastry game will expand your taste buds beyond whatever it can handle. Delicious cookies that will have you day dreaming if you were on the coast below the equator on Ipanema Beach!!! You definitely have to try the coxhinhas!! Tell that I sent 'cha! So good, so on point, so delicious. So worth the commute. Love the meats at this location. My favorite is the beef cut thin on a sandwich. Stopped by here to get a cup of coffee while waiting for the printers to get done and was happy I bypassed a major coffee company (ahem sbux) and wandered in here. I got a cup of cafe con leche and a coxinha- a fried chicken ball with mozzarella cheese. It was a fried ball of heavenly goodness! I want to go back and buy 5 of them. The rest of the food and dessert looked amazing and I'm looking forward to picking up my prints and dropping by here again! Definitely has that friendly Brazilian vibe. Highly recommend if you are in the area, the hours are good for all your cravings

This place is LEGIT! True Brazilian staff and costumers. I had no idea what to order, so I asked the guy behind the counter, who suggested a chocolate strawberry thing. Boyfriend ordered a pastry with caramel, which looked like a seashell. We also ordered these cookie things with guava (??) sprinkled with sugar. Whoa!! Amazing! I scored with my selection. It was a chocolate covered strawberry with some kind of custard filling. I couldn't of ordered a more perfect option for me as I am obsessed with chocolate covered strawberries. Boyfriend's pastry with very flaky and buttery. He was quite pleased. The guava cookie things were firm and delicious! The sandwiches looked amazing, so I will definitely be returning for lunch and dessert. Oh yeah... the place was extremely clean and bright. Very nice on the inside. You wouldn't expect this place to be on Powers Ferry.

I first tried the Brazillian Bakery Coxinha at Taste of Marietta and loved it so much that I swore up and down that I would go to their cafe soon and try some other foods, but delayed it until tonight. Man oh man, I should not have waited so long; it was so good! For dinner I had the Coxinha (fried dough stuffed with chicken and mozzarella cheese), Filet Sandwich (steak, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, corn and potato sticks on Brazilian bread), and for desert I had the chocolate covered honey cake. All was so good! The staff here was excellent at helping us decide what we wanted and throughly explained what everything was. Very nice guys. I highly recommend that you check out the bakery soon! As one friend (Christy L.) told me, "Dude. RUN to Brazilian Bakery. It's gooooooooood!"

The Brazilian bakery is across the street from Micro Center. My daughter and I have been known to "make-up" reasons we need computer supplies -- just so that we can have lunch and dessert here. Admitting that you are driving 30 miles for a flan and chicken in a pastry seems silly, but throw in a cheap hard drive and you sound brilliant. The food and smoothies are a spiritual experience! Hummm, I think I need a new trackball.

Cheap amazing goodness. 3 words- TRES LECHES CAKE! Such a creamy little square of joy. Right off Powers Ferry before the Kroger shopping center. I'm so glad this is a new addition to my little list of dessert spots! People there are so friendly as well and will point out whatever dessert/baked good there is. They also serve normal food as well but I haven't had the opportunity to check that out yet. Yummmm, love the Brazilian sweets here.

This place is located in a Brazilian themed shopping plaza up in Cobb county. It's the real deal, not a chain. Has the feel of a place you'd find in south Florida. I had their bacon burger which has bacon, ham, corn, tomato, potato straws, and melted cheese on a brazilian roll. It had a nice flavor to it. Everything tasted fresh. What I mean is that you could tell this wasn't a fast food burger. I've never had corn on a burger before, but it worked relatively well. Also tried the ground beef empanada. Really tasty. It had green olives in it which I thought was a great choice. Fresh pineapple juice with mint. Really great. Got a slice of coconut pineapple cake for dessert. Delish. There's an entire bakery full of tasty looking treats here. I will be back when I get the chance.

Gosh, I really wish that I could find a similar bakery/cafe in LA. I went here twice during my stay in Atlanta... luckily enough it was super close to my buddy's apartment. The staff there was very friendly and I camped out for a bit w/my laptop after enjoying a feijoada (Brazilian national dish - available a few times a week) to enjoy the free WiFi and (not too loud) music being played. The bakery is much larger than I would have thought judging from the outside. It's pretty expansive once inside. And there are so many choices in the glass that it may be a bit overwhelming for newcomers. I brought along a group for breakfast the second time around and we chowed down on a bunch of goodies from kibe, pasteis, coxinhas, and various of pastries. Oh and don't forget the Brazilian coffee. it's just good stuff...

Good stuff. I drove from Decatur on a rainy Saturday night just to satsify my five-month long craving for coxinhas--the Brazilian Bakery delivered. Coxinhas are badass street food snack things. Imagine a ball of chicken, cheese, and yummy flavors rolled up and fried in potato-ey encasement. The result? Creamy, stick to your ribs food. The ones they make here are pretty authentic, and huge. One was enough to fill me up, but it's always good to have back up. The atmosphere is fun and it seems like a place the Brazilian community really rallies behind. Pretty sure I was only the person in there who didn't speak Portuguese, but I didn't feel unwelcome either. My only wish is that the seating areas were a bit more comfy looking and conducive to lingering, because the people watching is GOOD!

So admittedly I picked up all the wrong things... especially when dealing with certain dietary "restrictions" but they all looked sooo good! Everything I picked up was fried, carb loaded, and filled with cheese (those lil' bread rolls) They were all pretty good, but yea I paid dearly for my little binge..lol.. Out of the fried chicken balls and the cheese rolls,I think the Pastelie ( sorry on the spelling) was the one that stood out the most! Just think of a fried puff pastry filled with shredded chicken and hearts of palm..yummy! On the other hand the pineapple mint drink was delicious and refreshing! The staff went out of thier way to explain the different pastries and goodies behind the glass.

business is booming at Brazilian Bakery. like my alliteration? btw, the guys that works there are total eye candies! Anyway, the bakery is spacious and well maintained. I guess they're pretty popping with catering and cakes bc a couple ppl came to pick up foods and make cake orders while my friend and I were there. I have never had any Brazilian goodies before, so I selected several random items; fried chicken balls, mini coconut muffin-thingy, guava w/ cream cheese pastry, chicken croissant, cheese balls, passion fruit custard. The fried chicken balls was one of my favorite; a mix of chicken and cheese in a fried ball of goodness. Mini coconut looked cute, tasted dry. Guava pastry was off the chizzain! I've only had similar guava pastry in Publix bakery back home and honest to goodness, I love Publix baked goods, but their guava pastry was weak! compared to the one here. Chicken croissant was good, wish I could eat this every day for breakfast and not face the consequences. Cheese balls, apparently similar to Japanese cheese balls, was good. It's not stringy or anything, but has the taste of cheese. I mistaken the passion fruit custard for flan bc it had the same color and texture as flan. This dessert was good, but in small dosage for me. It was very sweet, but the passion fruit aroma was definitely there. I'd come back and try more goodies :)

The empayada was better than average. Great crust and the filling was very meaty. I did add some hot sauce to the insides. I felt it lacked the punch of flavor that the empayadas of Puerto Rico and other latin countries I have visited. But all in all, very good for a local fix or craving. I had the Filet sandwhich that had Beef steak, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, corn and potato sticks. Flavor was great, my only suggestion was they used way too much cheese. I would definitely return again.

What happened to this place? Seriously. It used to be great--service, food. The food's pretty much the same, but the whole experience has gone topsy turvy--confused people running the counter, half self-serve/half table service with no clear distinguishing between, what with the counter calling the number and then walking around you to take it to the table as you cross paths. The only thing consistent in this most recent visit was the spectrum of inconsistency. New ownership? Rampant walk-outs? Vacations? There's no telling. Shame, though. Used to be one of my favorite places. Now it's just weird.

It'd been several months since my last visit and today I was craving a Brazilian sandwich. But after scanning the menu on the wall, I decided to try the "Torta Frango" instead which I mistakenly thought would be like a Mexican Tortas but instead was this pie-looking dish that was surprisingly heavy (as in "it weighed a lot") when I carried the dish to my table. (I googled "Torta Frango" and it actually means "Brazilian chicken pie".) If you can picture the torta with me - it looked like a slice of apple pie with the puff pastry layer on the top & bottom, and the inside filling was shredded chicken with green olives in tomato sauce on the bottom, and on top of that is a thick layer of cream. Honestly when I saw cream in the menu description I told myself "no i can't" (for cholesterol reasons) but the guy behind the counter told me I needed to try it ... the foodie part of my brain won :) Torta Frango was very good, esp. when hot. And very rich. So I could eat just half. Did I tell you the torta cost just $3.49? That's another reason why I like this place - the prices are very reasonable, too. It also means then you have enough money to treat yourself to one of their many desserts. Since the last time I was here, they expanded their space so I assume business is good. They also sell Brazilian coffee by the pound. Very cute place and cute guys working behind the counter :)

I've become quite the regular of this place..It used to be so hard to find all my favorite little sinful delights that once, could only be had from my times in Brasil... Not since I discovered this little gem! Coxinha's will always be my favorite..Although I dont think I've had one thing from here that I have not loved.. ;o) It would be nice if they would put descriptions of the goods next to them... Having all the details of their cakes would sure make it alot easier to pick one out, rather than basing it off of their appearance. Bolinhos de bacalhau would be a great addition to their menu as well, or something similar to it!

Just as Kristen N. said! "True Brazilian staff and customers". I admit, I was a little intimidated since I am not Brazilian when I first walked in. It seems a lot like a Brazilian hang out. But the food! WOW! Amazing! They have THE softest most moist bread I have ever tasted! You can purchase a whole bag of 12 for $2!!!!! There beef skewers are awesome! The meat is so tender and flavorful and always hot off the grill. The staff isn't the friendliest, but they so make up for it in there food. Doesn't stop me from going! Everything here is super affordable and they are open late! One of my favorite places to visit for exquisite food!!

Brazilian Bakery Café is an authentic Brazilian Bakery held within the confines of Marietta, GA. I'm only in Marietta once in a blue moon; only when I visit my brother. When he moved to the Powers Ferry area, that opened up his choices of eateries. We've passed by Brazilian Bakery Café on many occasions. One morning we were out for some breakfast, as we drove by I asked if he had ever been there; Keith quickly turned into the second entrance and said, "Not yet". I've tried a few items off their menu, like these fried balls of chicken and cheese called Coxinha, these are extra good, and a great breakfast snack. There is also Kibe, which I think, was the ground beef mixed with olives and wheat, then fried; also tasty and a good breakfast snack. I've also tried a couple snadwiches like the BB Lombinho. A BBQ pork loin, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pineapple and potato sticks all on a thin crispy bread. To hear it and to taste it are different...the sweetness of the BBQ, the loin, and the pineapple mixed with the saltiness of the ham, cheese and potato sticks; it all comes together in a cohesive master piece, no question it was mind blowing good. On my last visit, when I decided to write this review, it was on my birthday and on this occasion, I wanted some cake and only cake. Cake, usually isn't for me, it's usually too dry and...cakey; I end up just eating the frosting off normal cakes. The only time I normally have cake is only on my birthday and only pineapple upside down cake; cause its moist and fruity. A young man named William helped me choose my cake. He let me try a sample spoonful of a few of them; telling me the main ingredient in each. The cakes were too great. Each pounding with flavor and had a heaping bit of cream (not frosting) in between each layer, they were fluffy and heavy at the same time whilst being moist. It was at this point, I had to make a decision. Four great cakes, one major sweet tooth. I made the only choice possible, I picked two. The bolo de creme de abacaxi and the bolo de morango ao creme were both just too good to pass up. William was kind of surprise that I chose two, but I am a big ole boy. I ate one there and took the other back to my brothers where it lasted only an hour before I ate it. Brazilian Bakery Café is a quite, humble place with a nice staff and great food. The idea is great, traditional Brazilian, done cafe style. With a place like this, the owners of Brazilian Bakery Café won't have anything to worry about for sometime to come. Friendly staff, seemingly large local following.. We came in here to get some sweets to bring to a party, but we had no idea what anything was. The nice guy behind the counter was friendly and gave us some good suggestions. It was a sweet bonus when he would suggest something, and then hand one over the counter for us to sample before making the decision. They were also cooking some meats on the grill outside, and it smelled delicious.

On my list of places to try AGAIN. A few coworkers go there to pick yummy food and so I decided to try it for lunch. They suggested a few things but of course i forgot the names right away. Was pleasantly surprised when I got there: -its a large space--hugeeeeeeeee counters of baked goods; quite a few tables for dine-in orders -an extensive menu -TEXAS PETE hot sauce on the tables haha -very helpful/nice staff I didnt know what anything was, so I just decided to order a torta with EVERYTHING in it. It was ok.....it had meat (chicken + sauce of some sort), cheese, corn, hearts of palm, etc. The flavor was fine...but got mushy relatively quick. Probably wouldn't order another torta. Also got a fresh juice/smoothie type thing--honeydew+mint. YUM YUM YUM. it was too sweet, and the flavors blended well. The juice wasn't thick nor was it gritty. On the way out, I picked up 2 things which turned out to be PHEASFDKDFNOMENALLLL: -cheesy bread (they sell it by the pound--like $7.00/lb. but I got like 4 small pieces and cost me like $1) -this fried potato ball with chicken filling (around $2) and YUM. both were REALLY outstanding and I would def go back for that. Will need to try more drinks, baked goods, and this bulgar wheat fried ball of something a coworker said was great! -1 star bc the strawberry cheesecake my coworker got turned out to be AWFUL. Though it looked lush and moist and fresh, it was NOT. it was hard and dense, and didnt taste fresh at all.

Brazilian Bakery makes their sandwiches well and prices them fairly. Depending how much you eat, you can get very frugal with your meal here. I just had a beef fillet sandwich, and it tasted delicious. Even though it only cost $5, it was a lot better than sandwiches in other stores that cost similar. The ingredients they use are different than your typical American sandwiches. They can use corn, olives, etc. Also their bread is a crispy Brazilian bread. I like their bread a lot because it tastes good and adds a lot of texture and flavor to the sandwiches. It's just different. I didn't get any sides because I didn't notice them. Afterwards, I did notice they had yucca fries as one of the side items. I love yucca, and I'm definitely going to order that next time. I looked at their baked goods and they looked yummy. They had various cakes and, of course, the Brazilian cheese rolls (my favorite). They also serve smoothies. I haven't tried any of their baked goods or smoothies, but they will be next on the menu. I'm putting this in my regular lunch eating list.

I had their passion fruit mousse and it was delicious! The mousse was cupped in pure milk chocolate and when I mean cupped, the cup is made of chocolate. Wowsie! You can't beat any mousse in a choc cup. My friend had the flan and she said mine tasted better. :). Go check this place eve

I was working here for over 2 hours one day and they left a large tub of raw ground beef out the whole time. The were also not concerned about the rat dropping that fell from the ceiling tiles on the the food prep areas.

Summary: Authentic Brazilian bakery and snack/lunch items, try the Coxinha, Lombinho and Pastel... After Pao De Mel closed, I was looking for another Brazilian bakery, and I guess I found it. Authentic brazilian pastries such as coxinha, pastel and quibe are served, along with guava cookies, sweet breads and other favourites like passionfruit mousse and smoothies/juices with tropical fruits. Reasonably priced lunch place, and I highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic brazilian food off the beaten path. Try the lombinho (pork) sandwich with interesting stuffings like roast pork with cheese, tomato lettuce, corn, pineapple and crispy potato sticks. The coxinha which is shredded chicken covered in batter and fried, and pastel (looks like an empanada). I am not sure if they have the cheese puffs (pao de queijo), but I'll definitely be going back to find out.

Did the weekend suburban trip so decided to try something besides Buford Hwy and Duluth. My friend had heard about this place from her waxer? (not sure what the proper nomenclature is for someone who waxes). This place is great and I wish I would have tried it sooner. Great sandwiches on solid bread for 5 bucks. The coxhina was phenomenal. Really friendly staff who were not annoyed with me and my friend taking a long time to order-- neither one of us know our way around Brazilian food honestly. We also tried a vanilla cream pastry that was delicious and I'm not a sweets person. As a bonus there is a market a couple of doors down that had grilled and roasted meat outside. We tried a steak stick, which was tenderloin on a skewer with a tomato sauce-- may be the best thing I've ever eaten that costs 2 dollars. Was too full to take home the roasted rib roast but judging by the tenderloin I suspect it's amazing. I am already thinking of when I'm going back to both places

I love me a bakery and when I found out that Marietta, GA had a Brazilian bakery honey! im on top of it! I took a group of friends and we literally tried everything! including dishes that are not considered dessert! The Flan! is to die for! and here I thought my father made the best Flan, nope! this place is very clean and peaceful and the clientele is prominently made up of natives which adds to its charm. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is super cute! If in the area definitely stop by....

Hey Brazilian patrons of this restaurant/bakery, why you gotta stare me down when I come in as if I'm some sorta leper or creature you've never seen before? Good thing I go with my Brazilian boyfriend or I'd probably want to run outta here from all the weird stares I get. ANYWAYS, things I've tried: Coxinha: solid. Delicious. I've had a few dry ones though, and I'd prefer it if the cheese inside was less stringy/chewy and more melty/creamy. But that's just my personal preference. Pao de queijo: really, really good. Chewy and crusty at the same time and so cheesy. We'll usually order a dozen to go. Pastel with meat: This beats any empanada I have ever had, ever. It's deep fried and the crust is crispy, greasy, golden brown and delicious. The ground beef inside is seasoned perfectly with just the right amount of saltiness and I love that they add bits of olives in there too. Brigadeiros and beijinhos: I could eat 20 of these. Kibbeh: Tastes like your average, delicious kibbeh. This has a very crispy crust on the outside, which adds extra yumminess. Flan: it was just ok. It didn't taste that fresh and it was almost... chewy? Instead of creamy and eggy. Pineapple juice: it's really sweet. I don't know if they add sugar or something but I had to dilute it with water. The guys who work here are nice and it's open til midnight on the weekends. Mmm, everything they have there looks super yummy and I'm definitely going back there soon. But with my boyfriend.

We have recently discovered this place and been here couple of times and even took friends here. There food is good, however the service that we have received today was outrageous and definitely will keep us away from this place no matter how good their food was. We ordered sandwiches and chicken balls that they are famous for. When we were placing order the guy told us they were out of chicken balls but will have some in just couple of minutes. 10 minutes have gone by and out sandwiches came out. We went to the guy who took our order and asked about chicken balls cuz we say people eating them already?! He said he will get us some in couple of minutes. We decided to just eat sandwiches while waiting, which we did and they started giving out chicken balls again but didn't have anything for us? Needless to say we placed our order before those people even walked in. We told them to just refund us for chicken balls and that we would rather get deserts at that point. They went back and forth trying to find out credit card signed receipt for 10 minutes. We totally felt like idiots and as if we were refunding something we haven't paid for. We got frustrated and walked up to the lady who was going through the receipts and said what is the problem because we have been waiting for a refund for 10 mins already. She just looked at us and basically handed cash just to get rid of us. When we asked for manager she said that it was her and when we explained that situation was handled in the worst possible way she just told us "I didn't know you have waited that long". No apology and nothing followed that. We left all of our drinks and desserts and then got the hell out of that place. Too bad that people who work there do not appreciate customers! Shame on you!

Thank you, fellow Yelpers. I was looking for someplace to grab lunch with a friend, and you guys have done me right yet again. Not only was this place right around the corner from where I needed to be (OK, that was just luck), but the price and taste were amazing. I would not have found this place otherwise. They have many different baked goods. They aren't labeled, but the staff answered all my questions. I had the fried pastries for lunch...a small BBQ Chicken and a small banana. The large ones are pretty good sized...make sure you see how big these things are before ordering. Either way though, it was a great quick lunch, and it was very inexpensive. I wish I lived closer so I could go more often.

yum. go. right now. and get the coxinha. I think it looks like a teardrop. It's basically chicken filling inside with other stuff, with the outside lightly fried. Tastes really good with hot sauce available on the tables. Tastes just as good the next day if you heat it back up. One is about $2.20 and fills you up pretty good. I also like the passion fruit mousse - it comes in a plastic cup and is on display next to the cakes. Speaking of, cakes are priced by weight, so I would recommend getting a small slice to make sure you like it. I got a huge slice of the lime cake and thought it tasted weird at first. Got used to it eventually, but not that great imo. Appearance-wise, all the cakes definitely looks pretty though. Mini pastries, I haven't found any great ones. I plan to try out a couple everytime to go for a chicken ball. Recommend the fillet sandwich. BB chicken was kinda dry. Bread used in sandwich has hard outside, soft inside - it's pretty tasty.

I ate at BB last night, and was very satisfied with my experience! We ordered several dishes: Pastry ball filled with chicken and cheese -absolutely divine. This was my favorite item. The consistency and texture felt like heaven in my mouth. It consists of a crispy fried-like outer covering and inside was shredded chicken, cheese, and some other ingredients. It's not on the menu, but apparently it's one of the most popular pastry items. Sooo recommended! Banana Sandwich -very different, but in a good way! Warm soft bread with mushy banana and melted cheese in between. It's a sweet sandwich, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Torta with shredded chicken and heart of palm -a heavy, thick slice of a pie filled with shredded chicken, olives, a tomato-based sauce, and a light fluffy cream-like substance (which I think is the heart of palm). Also a great dish, and very filling! Chicken pastry with BB sauce -similar taste to the torta mentioned above, but instead the chicken is in a flat fried empanada-looking shell. Pretty good, but probably wouldn't order it again. The total only came out to be about $12 and we were full and had leftovers. So it's super affordable! The food is so fresh and amazing! The service is also great, the employees are pretty young, but they're super helpful with recommendations and explaining the menu. I have consistently been surprised with some of the ethnic gems I've been discovering around Marietta, and this one definitely ranks top as one of them!
