Delicious from start to finish! Every dish was great. Don't forget dessert! Service was really quick and friendly. There were six of us, all happily fed and properly hydrated. I wish they'd lose the styrofoam, but loved the automatic offer to take a refill for the road. Kids were happy. I'll be back!

A great spot to grab a quick bite and a beer. The menu is packed full of Greek staples, as well as some other fare that will appeal to those who don't prefer Greek food. The gyros are always delicious, and the location is excellent. Sit by the window on a nice day and enjoy the view.

I love greek food so i am def a fan of this place. YUM. Now the italian beef isnt as good as the ones you would get out of the joints in chicago...but they tried. lol I love gyros so much!

Amazed! On the road with the band we eat a lot of different places! This place was spectacular! The gyro was amazing! The pita break was fresh and was over my expectations! For an appetizer we ordered garlic bread and hummus, it was delicious! After reading some of the other reviews we decided to order baklava. It was also very delicious and for the price they give you great portions! Go here for quick service and great food! We will be back!

This is a great place to get very good Greek food. A friend suggested we have lunch at a Greek place. I looked it up on Google and this was the closest to where we were. We tried it and I've been taking friends and family there ever since. Enjoyable place in Macon, Great Gyros (get the "Super").

Good food, good location. The menu is just your basic Greek focused menu. Macon have 2 main Greek restaurants in my opinion and the one located on Tom hill is fed number 1. Service was slow and meal size was a bit small

I remember when I first found this place in 2009, and I haven't stopped coming back. It's not the best, but for the value, it is a great quality. I loved the Super Gyro, because it always left me stuffed! Give it a try, regardless of other bad reviews. You'll be happy, especially with the pretty good service for a somewhat fast food kind of place.

Nothing fancy here. The Super Gyro is a big one and very tasty. Had a side of potato salad that was OK, potatoes finely chopped. Location is downtown Macon so some interesting people pass by if you care to sit and not take out. Good place to grab a sandwich and go.

Great stop for families. Lots of choices to please everyone. My spinach and cheese pie was really good.

So I've since gone back, and tried some other things. Sausage sandwich -- sausage seemed a little undercooked. Meatball sandwich -- The sauce was good, the meatballs were underwhelming. I suspect frozen but I really don't want to make that kind of claim. They were tasty anyway. Cuban -- while not a Cuban restaurant, it was quite tasty. There are better ones in town, though.

This place was the first time I ever had Greek food. Since I lived down here for four years, there wasn't exactly a plethora of Greek places to go to, but I liked my intro to Greek food. The meat in my gyro was pretty tender and juicy. Pretty good, fits the mom and pop image. The sauce was pretty good too. If I ever come back down to Macon, I'll definitely have to stop in here. Best part, it's a GREEK place that's actually open on Sunday. You won't find that up in Alpharetta. The baklava is pretty good too. Tasted pretty authentic to me and best part, it's pretty cheap. The pita bread is pretty soft and even comparable to naan in tastiness. Definitely recommend if you're down in Macon.

Service was good. The girl waiting in us was very nice. We started by ordering a sampler plate and it arrived very quick! Plus 1 star. for quick service! The pitas are not the normal prepackaged dry tasteless things you get in some places. Next came the Greek salad --- good mix of fresh veg. And dressing not overkill and no slimy mess of lettuce. YAY!! The tzakizki (sp) was good Not as good as some I've had but still a nice flavor. I won't comment on the dolmas as I'm not a fan in general. As a reminder I don't give 5 stars unless everything is perfect and rarely 4!! But since this is GA it deserves it! Ooh and btw we had soooo much left over very generous portions The gyro was quite large with plenty of meat and sauce I ordered the lamb/beef. My only personal preference would have been all lamb. Overall this is one the best eating experiences we have had since coming to Middle GA!! So all the nay Sayers :p I recommend this place!! We will be back!!

This place is by no means fancy, but if you want a quick bite to eat and enjoy American Greek food it's worth checking out. I got a super gyro and asked for heavy tzatziki because I find most gyros are too dry. FYI, I was charged for the extra sauce which I thought was a little cheap on their part, but in the end I probably didn't need it and it was tasty. My mom tried the sampler, which oddly was listed as a special, even though it was on the regular menu for the same price??? Everything we had was yummy and the prices were what you would expect from a mom and pop restaurant. We had a friendly server and our items came out of the kitchen very quickly, even though the day we went it was packed. Although they sell beer and wine by the bottle, we stuck to non alcoholic drinks and our tab came out to about 10$ a person. We left full (sadly too full to try dessert) and will definitely go back. It's a nice edition to downtown Macon.

Food was very very good, the venue less so. The staff was nice, but everything's served on plastic and the restaurant lay out is confusing.

Gyros good. Nice location.

It might sound strange, but if someone told me that I could only eat salad for the rest of my life, I would eat the Greek salad with grilled chicken from Greek Corner Deli. I've been here a few times and have watched while others ate items off of the menu that looked equally delicious, but the Greek salad was too good to not order repeatedly. There's just something about the combination of fresh feta, steaming grilled chicken, crisp cucumbers, sliced tomatoes, and the incredible dressing that kept me coming back for more. The best part? You can also order a version of the salad that comes without lettuce. Because let's be honest. Lettuce is just a space filler anyway. This is a nice addition to the downtown Macon restaurant scene.

Wanna eat lunch with nervous law students and men in suits? Then come on down to the Greek Corner Deli. I am one of those nervous law students that comes here before finals, in between classes, after work. I am one of the obnoxious ones who is constantly talking about law school because the rest of my life has fallen to the wayside. And besides the men in suits (women tend not to lunch here, I don't know why), that's about all your're going to find in terms of ambiance. I usually just get a salad or humus (neither of which are bad) and my friends always seem to like their food. The one good thing I can say is that they have beer and chocolate so if you want okay food and a good beer, it's an easy, fast place to go on your lunch hour.

This place remains awesome...serving up delicious food at cheap prices with tons of friendly service to boot. They stay open late for special occasions, have tons of daily specials and serve some of the best tzatziki sauce I have ever had. YUMMY to my tummy. I think they make a mean mean gyro, and their pita is always fresh and fluffy. What more can one want? Yes. Fries. I do wish they had a fryer...but I guess someone, or something needs to save me from myself.

Ehhh. Pretty bland greek food. I had read reviews below and thought it'd be decent greek. Disappointing really. I got a greek salad and the sample platter (hummus, tzatki, dolmades, olives, feta and pitas) the pitas were delicious, but the hummus and taziki was nothing special and the portion sizes very minimal for the $8 total. The salad was disappointing...cucumbers were large, but onion non-existent. There was just one waitress/cashier and one cook although I felt bad for her, she needed help...I wouldn't recommend and won't be back.

Nice atmosphere, I ordered the Gyros and it was Okay. The only problem I had while eating there was this one annoying fly that would not stop trying to land on my sandwich. I spent most of my time there trying to knock it out! Pretty much blew my lunch. However I will go back again.

Nothing to brag about. Typical Greek cuisine. Not good or bad. Fills the craving when needed.

If you like dry, overcooked, inauthentic, bland pastitio (Greek lasagna) coupled with horrendously rude, inattentive, and slow service then this is the place for you!! Today I ate here with some friends, took one bite of the dish and promptly told my server it was inedible. Her reply?... Well you still have to pay for it but I can get you something else too. Of course I said that's ridiculous and asked for a manager. The poor meek server went to a feistier short waitress with brown hair and spoke to her. Well homegirl comes back and tells me I have to pay! Hahaha. Umm, no. I tell her I'll pay for the side salad I ate and that's it. I get more attitude, my fiend gets the receipt thrown at her by the same jerk of a waitress and we leave. Never mind that this place has passable gyros and Greek salads. I will never go back because of the atrocious service and as fellow yelpers I hope you don't either until the Greek corner deli gets an education on the art of customer service. Hell, I'd settle for them just not being rude!!
