I've tried Fox Brothers, Big Tex and several other ATL BBQ landmarks- and this place has it MADE ;). I went there for the first time with hubby and my baby today- and got chopped pork sandwich, husband got the ribs/chicken plate. We immediately said we would definitely be coming back, on the first bite of the meat. My custom is to taste the meat without the sauce first, to make sure that it has its own flavor. And it did not disappoint. After a few bites, I did add their wonderful hot and sweet barbecue sauce, which, because it was so good, I did not want to leave any of it behind and I brought the rest of it home in the little plastic ramekin ;). Their homemade banana pudding was to die for also. Their sides (collards, slaw and potato salad) were very good too. I only gave four stars because I wish they would've had some sweet or unsweet iced tea- because it was hot out today, and the only place to sit was their adorable big porch outside....the owner was so polite and friendly. GO TO THIS JOINT!

Don't make a special trip to eat here. On my first visit, it was early Sunday evening. They were out chicken except for a few wings. They were also out of baked beans. On my second visit, I decide to go in the early afternoon. Their hours are open at 11am on Wednesday. At 12:45, they are not open. On my third visit, it was 4pm. The only chicken they had was 10 wings. Still no baked beans..

Visited Hines today. We purchased a half slab (5bones) and 4 whole wings. Everything was delicious. I loved the spices on everything, including the sauce and collard greens. We will be back!

This BBQ was awesome!!!! Flavored very well. We had the pulled pork plate and it came with 2 sides. We had baked beans and collard greens!!!! Omg!!!! It was soooooooooooo good. The BBQ sauce was flavorful as well. The BBQ was a little spicy as well as the BBQ sauce but it was still good. No complaints. I'll definitely go back. Also, the customer service was great and the time to order and receive the food was quick. The owner was super nice and even brought the food out to the car in 20 degree weather. Lol!!!! It's a must try.

The chopped chicken was 5 stars!!! I don't usually like anybodies chicken... The ribs were rather sweet... The chopped pork had a spicy kick to it. They were out of greens around 3:00 pm, so get there early. I will definitely visit again!!!

Love, love, love the smoked ribs and the spicy barbecue sauce. The smoked chicken wings are also delish, but I'm a rib girl at heart. I have never tried the sides, but the barbecue is always on point. I've been twice and will return again!
