This is definitely one of my favorites. It's such a lovely place to eat at anytime! The service is phenomenal and the food is cooked to perfection. The food is always fresh and delicious! The atmosphere is great, and the people here are so caring and sweet! The only reason I'm rating it 4 stars is because they have different menus through the week, so I can never really get what I want unless I come at a specific time.

This charming gastropub is located in the heart of Lilburn, GA. The rustic decor and quaint farm-to-table restaurant has an attached market with a bar! How cute is that? I've been wanting to come here for over 6 months already. Luckily, Gwinnett Restaurant Week gave me that option. 1910 Public House offered a diverse 3 course meal for $21.99. I had the crispy fried shrimps, braised short ribs and fruit cobbler for dessert. The size of each portion was huge! You are not sampling. It's 3 full blown orders. If you check-in on Yelp you get a free glass of yummy Prosecco. Win! In addition to the restaurant week menu. The regular menu was very enticing. My friend had a iceberg lettuce salad that looked amazing. He loved it. My friend thought the ribeye was fantastic. The edge was slightly charred and the meat was more marbled then usual. It was beautifully grilled. My next visit I want to try the chicken pot pie. In fact, I may come back again and again to try the entire menu.

We were early for dinner so we were seated right away and our server arrived quickly to take our drink orders. We looked at the menu and found most menu items priced from the high teens to the mid 20s. They also have small plates which are less but we were concerned that we'd still be hungry after eating. I chose the Chicken Pot Pie and Melanie went with the Vegetable Plate. 1910 Public House is a great casual place and we both loved the décor of the restaurant. It's got a really super vibe and the staff was very welcome and was able to answer any question we had. There's another section to the right, through an awesome looking barn door, that is the growler area where they have 24 craft beers on tap. These guys are into growlers! There's a bar area but there's also a very nice comfortable seating area for enjoying conversation with your friends. Just before the meal arrived, our server brought me a small bowl. She told me that the Chicken Pot Pie would be so hot that it's advised to dip some out into the bowl and it'll cool faster. I let her know that I LOVE HOT FOOD and I probably wouldn't be needing that bowl. As I write this post, my tongue is still recovering from the burn, but I enjoyed every minute of it. 1910 Public House pays special attention to the presentation of the meal. We love the dishes and the layout of the Vegetable Plate. Our server was OH SO RIGHT because I couldn't believe how hot the Chicken Pot Pie was, not to mention how large it appeared. I was sure I would never finish it, but I found myself worthy of the task. Melanie really enjoyed her Vegetable Plate. The asparagus was cooked to perfection, something that we continue to find a rarity when we've tried this at pother places. The roasted brussel sprouts we so delicious. The had a wonderful flavor from the grill and were soft and chewy. When Melanie ordered the Mac & Cheese, our server suggested the truffle variety and it did not disappoint. It was very rich and tasty, in fact to just call it Mac & Cheese diminishes it. I couldn't believe it when our server asked us about dessert and I was more shocked when Melanie said she was interested. Upon seeing the dessert menu, all fear was cast aside and we chose to share the Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse Cake. We didn't even finish half and took the rest in a box. To die for - really, it's a must-have. Our time at 1910 Public House could not have been more enjoyable. Great food, fantastic service in a casual, trendy environment combined to make a really great meal. I don't care what area of town you live in, you need to make your way out to 1910 Public House and enjoy this! Guten appetit! see our full review: atlanta-food-critic.com/…

What a great surprise. We ordered several appetizers and then split the short rib. Everything was perfectly prepared. Be sure to try the bacon jam (yes!) on pimento cheese served bubbling in a little cast iron pan. Loved the goat cheese ravioli. And they have great cakes for dessert. I love cake almost as much as bacon jam. Interesting drink menu that includes a Southern Lady made with Pecan Vodka. I had a man handled Old Fashioned; everything was well muddled. It's a bummer that we pretty much had to go home after dinner for lack of other entertainment. Keep investing Lilburn. We'll be back!

Wow, what a hidden gem! I never would've expected to find a restaurant of such caliber in Lilburn. 1910 Public House features Southern staples like fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese, fried chicken, pork chops, and chicken pot pie as well as a selection of burgers and other odds and ends. The setting features a center bar, antique fixtures and lighting... should be a familiar sight to those that have dined in areas like Historic downtown Norcross, Canton St. in Roswell, or Decatur. I have now visited for both brunch and dinner service. On both visits, we were treated to impeccable service and well executed dishes. Brunch: I ordered the Country Eggs Benedict - poached eggs, country sausage, white truffle hollandaise, served on a freshly-baked southern-style biscuit with a side of home fries. My wife ordered the Chicken & Waffles. Yum! Exactly as advertised. The eggs were perfectly poached, the hollandaise was the perfect consistency, and the flavors and textures married well. My wife's chicken & waffles were also perfectly prepared. Very satisfied. Dinner: We ordered the Baked Brie appetizer (new to the menu), which included brie wrapped in perfectly flaky pastry, lightly drizzled with balsamic, and accompanied by crostini's, dried cranberries, and the best tasting candied pecans known to man. I truly hope that they decide to keep this on the menu. For my entrée, I ordered the Boneless Beef Short Ribs, braised in cola, served over garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, okra, and sweet corn. My wife ordered the Grilled Salmon with a mimosa reduction, basil mashed potatoes, and the same green bean, okra, and sweet corn vegetable combination. My wife is allergic to oranges. The "mimosa reduction" had us nervous, but the chefs had no problem making adjustments to accommodate her allergy. She was treated to a very tasty grilled salmon with a orange-free sauce. The salmon had a crispy crust without the inside getting dried out - impressive chef skills indeed. I do not care for seafood, but I had to steal a bite. This was the best tasting seafood I had ever had. Fresh basil in mashed potatoes? What a wonderful combination! I did not need a knife for my tender short ribs. Excellent flavors and perfect portion size. Note: 1910 Public House is currently offering a free glass of Prosecco with Yelp Check-In. It's a very generous pour too. What are you waiting for?!

I am a regular here! I absolutely love this place! I always go for their brunch and for the $10 bottomless mimosa special. The staff is always friendly and I always bring my friends there! Awesome place!

Had Sat brunch. Guest ordered chicken and waffle with bottomless Mimosa and I ordered breakfast with coffee. Food and beverages were flawless with great taste; no complaints. Service was terrific, especially our waiter Trish. One of the best waiters I have ever met in extensive travels. Highly recommend you give 1910 Public House a try.

Yes it a gem in downtown Lilburn. Not alot of people in gwinnett know .The interior is sum of a loft or a warehouse feel . They offer lunch and dinner and have a market that is open at all times Brunch is available on saturday and sunday..The market offer togo and ready made sandwiches , salads and breakfast. The Brunch.. Chicken and Waffles- contains two waffles, fried chicken breast and real maple syrup. It was ok. The fried chicken was dry though. House Omelet- contains bacon, onions, smoked gouda cheese. It was reall good. I never had a omelet with gouda cheese before. The Dinner The past 3 times .I have had their burgers. You can not go wrong !! Pimento Cheese Burger - a thick juicy burger with pimento cheese. Awsome!! Steak House Burger a steak burger with american cheese, bacon, fried egg an a onion ring. I call it the heart attack burger. Smoked Pork Chop - a smoked pork chop with sweet potato hash, sautéed apples. Great and very filling. The bar have mainly local beer on tap and extensive liquor selection. Pricing for the liquor is very high though. I ordered a well rum and the bill was 15 bucks ouch. Out door seating on the sidewalk is avalble duing the sping and summer. 1900 public house is a nice addition to downtown Lilburn.

Never guessed I would find this little gem in Lilburn. This establishment is one you'd expect to find in Midtown or Decatur. The interior decor has a super hip feel, which was completely unexpected. We were seated near the door by the front glass window. Our server was super funny! I'm mad at myself for forgetting his name (it might have been Steven), but he had a dry humor that I couldn't handle. He was hilarious! Free glass of prosecco with Yelp checkin! It was fresh and bubbly, and the strawberry gave it an elegant and tasty touch. We ordered so many dishes I can't remember them all... Appetizers: House Chips - smothered in cheese, bacon and scallions, it was a good starter but nothing special. Calamari - definitely very crispy and good but not the best I've had, either. Winter House Salad - a colorful medley. Delicious! Entrees: Fish and Chips - large tender pieces fish, freshly fried and fragrant. Chips were ok. Shrimp and Grits - I didn't find this super memorable. Presentation was meh. But flavors were on point! Public House (Pimento Cheese) Burger - you can never go wrong with pimento cheese on a burger. The meat was more medium than medium rare but I didn't mind. The fries were slightly soggy and slightly crisp at the ends, just the way I like it. Ribeye - meat was on point. Truffle Mac and cheese that came with it was average. The greens were meh, I'm not a fan, but mostly because I'm not a fan of greens in general... Overall a lovely meal. You can't stop me from coming back again!

Second visit today to the Public House. We had to wait a bit for Dana but so worth it! The restaurant was packed but our server didn't miss a beat. We had the French toast and bottomless mimosas and our glasses were never empty. This is now our go-to for brunch. Dana even remembered our names! We cannot wait to return!

Relaxing atmosphere and a compelling menu. Some very unique variations on tried and true standards. Their cocktail recipes are alone worth a visit. Also, our service was exceptional. I expect to return many times.

We went late-ish (8:15 pm on a Saturday night), so it wasn't packed. Nice ambiance and very friendly hostess, who sat us immediately. Our server came over quite quickly and brought water. She was knowledgeable about the menu and wasn't shy when we asked for cocktail suggestions. We each had a strawberry-lemonade mixed drink (sorry i can't recall the name) that was good-not too sweet, although i wouldn't have wanted more than one. Calamari appetizer was perfectly cooked and served with a yummy aoli sauce. My bf asked to substitute a side, which they did without batting an eye or charging us extra. He got a t-bone steak and said it was good. I got the cola braised short ribs which were awesome. I didn't even need a knife they were so tender. You also get a free glass of Prosecco if you check in on yelp and purchase an entree! Overall a tasty dinner, excellent service and casual but still nice atmosphere. We will definitely come back.

Absolutely the best service by Shaun, ask for him whenever possible! Atmosphere is industrial modern with lots of cool brick interior and steel. The center has an open bar with seating. There's a large room for private parties. Food was great, fresh and fun southern flair. Loved that they offer Gluten Free here. The Pear Salad was to die for. We will be back!

First of all, management knows how to hire front of the house staff. The service has been stellar every time I have dined here. My husband and I dined in Tuesday night. We were too hungry to wait for the food truck festival lines. We were seated and greeted right away. We ordered the steak tacos as an appetizer. The tacos took a pretty long time to come out, in all fairness my hunger level may have made it seem longer than it really was. We finally got the tacos and they were amazing. The beef was so tender! Moving on to our entrees, I ordered the airline chicken and my husband ordered shrimp and grits. Our entrees arrived and I just started digging in. After a couple bites I noticed several things. The chicken was on a bed of wild rice not succotash as described and the whole plate was garnished with this super sweet balsamic reduction sauce which was also not described on the menu. The chicken was so dry. My whole plate was a huge disappointment. My husband loved his and made the comment that my dish tasted like airplane food. I asked our server about the things I just mentioned and she said sometimes when the night goes on and things run out the chefs prepare the dish anyway they can. I understood, that made sense. She brought me the succotash on a side plate. It was just not good. It tasted burnt and undercooked at the same time, how that's possible I have no idea. I did not go to management and complain. We paid our bill, tipped well and left. I will not order the chicken again but I will go back and write another review.

I have visited a couple times now. You have to go and try their Pimento cheese! It is great. They bring it out in a small cast iron skillet, where it has been heated.

Five stars for spectacular service! Ask for Dana. She is AH-mazing! I was excited to find a bottomless mimosa Sunday brunch that didn't require driving all the way into Atlanta. Since we had a larger group, I came at noon to snag us a table prior to them starting serving mimosas at 12:30. I was pleasantly surprised to find there was absolutely no wait and we were able to be seated immediately. A rare miracle! The restaurant is awesome. It's located in a very cute part of Lilburn I had never been to before. I was really impressed with how spacious and tastefully decorated it was. Definitely had a modern, minimalistic hip, bar vibe. Totally not something I was expecting for Lilburn. And finding parking was not a nightmare so win! Now the service was phenomenal. Dana made great recommendations and made sure our mimosas were refilled promptly the entire time we were there. She was on freaking point. She definitely took care of us. We were there till a little after 3 and never felt rushed. For brunch, I went with the steak and eggs. I requested they substituted the home fries for a fruit cup and it wasn't an issue. I was able to steal a bite of my friend's home fries and they were actually really good! Nice crunch to them. My steak was done a bit more than the medium rare I requested but I was able to switch with a friend who didn't mind hers being more done. Overall, food was good. Everyone left full and happy. Prices were affordable. Most entrees for brunch were $8-$10. Bottomless mimosas on Sundays are $12 and they also had bloody Mary's for $5. I also saw a burger and beer special for $12 at the bar. They also had quite a few of other daily specials worth checking out such as half price off wine bottles! Our group had a blast here and can't wait to come back for another outing!

What a surprise! I went there on a date recently, and being an inner city foodie snob, I was sure the food was going to be a C+ at best. And boy was I wrong! I had the salmon, and everything on the plate was so perfectly cooked and seasoned it blew me away. It was every bit as good as the finest, trendiest restaurants I've been to in Midtown, Virginia Highlands or Decatur. Kudos to the chef and management. Keep it up. Don't cut corners. It's obvious you don't now, so stay the course. I'll be back.

Great service and atmosphere . Strong bar and adjacent Growler room for craft beers . Blackened salmon sandwich is a winner . Fried green tomatoes were a bit bland and over priced in my opinion . Overall a great menu with interesting items at reasonable prices . Definitely worth the trip out to Lilburn to visit this place for lunch or dinner

Living in Lilburn makes getting a fabulous meal something of a challenge. We were so excited to hear about the Public House opening downtown. After visiting 3 times, I feel ready to write a review. The cocktail menu and the food menu are impressive and ambitious. Unfortunately, the execution of each leaves much to be desired. On our last visit, I attempted to order one of the classic cocktails from the menu and the bartender had NO idea what the cocktail even was. They seemed to be 'out of stock' on many drink and food items. The special was a ribeye on paper, but was described as prime rib by the bartender. 'Thats the same thing, right?' The salad and appetizer we tried were so lackluster that we opted to leave before dinner. My husband didn't even want to waste money on a cocktail. Although the atmosphere is hip and trendy, it is not warm and inviting. Service was super friendly, which is why I gave 2 stars. Public house, please step up your game, focus on training and hire a great bartender and we will try again. We want you and our little city to succeed!

This address is wrong. The restaurant is in Lilburn, not Norcross. We had an amazing dinner on opening night. The food was fresh & perfectly seasoned. I had the shrimp and grits which had the best andouille sausage in it! My husband had the grilled chicken which had an apple cider reduction that made me seriously consider licking the plate clean. Thrilled to have a place like this in our community!

I love 1910 Public House. As someone who grew up in Lilburn in the 80s and 90s, I was surprised to find out that this place existed. I have been to 1910 probably 7 or 8 times, and I absolutely love everything about it. I live in the VA Highlands, but this place is on par with the food in Atlanta. The staff has always been superb, and we ask for Michael every time we come in--though everyone is awesome. The ambiance is great, the drinks are great, the food is great. What else can I say? I happily drive back up to my old stomping grounds to visit my parents just so I can take them out to this restaurant. Great job, guys and gals!

Ate here for first time tonight but definitely not last. Grilled salmon special with shrimp Mac & cheese was incredible. Started with fried green tomatoes-superb. Grilled romaine salad very good. Nice, friendly service. A touch too loud. It was a little hard to visit with friends.

We loved dinner 9/16/2014 and ended up eating four small plates with a couple of tasty unique cocktails. The pimento cheese was a 10 even though I don't typically care for it, and all others were a 9! We are critical foodies, and this placed rocked. Kyle provided excellent service, knew the menu well, and made it a great experience. 25 draft beer taps are coming soon, and the area has been zoned to allow open container. Nice people. I hope they kill it!

Having a nice place to eat in Lilburn is awesome. The menu is very different. The food quality is top shelf. I recommend the 1910 burger and the omelet.

We had been talking about coming here for a while, after 1910 Public House was recommended by one of our neighbors. First off, the place seems cozy and kind of like a neighborhood pub. We came in on 12/1/2013, a Sunday evening around 7 pm. There were maybe a half a dozen patrons in the restaurant and most of the tables were empty. The hostess seated us at the last table on the end, right next to the kitchen with nothing but a hanging curtain separating us from the kitchen. You could see and hear every pan rattle, every door being opened and closed and the kitchen staff talking and yelling. We asked to be moved and were immediately relocated closer to the front of the restaurant. Not a huge deal, but the noise from the kitchen did take away from our dining experience. I would suggest that a set of swinging doors be put in to separate diners from the chaos behind the curtain. As far as the food, by no standard means am I a food snob or aficionado. However, I know good food when I see, smell and taste it. There was much missing from our meal, or maybe I should say there was "too much" there. My reference is to the amount of salt used to flavor the food. Salt should be used to bring out natural flavors in food, not so that the food tastes like salt. I had the BBQ Duck with brown sugar coated carrots, peas, corn pudding and garlic mayo. The duck was prepared medium and it, by itself, was fabulous. Very nice indeed. The peas and carrots seemed as if they were from canned stock and had been sitting in a pot for some time prior to serving. They were also over salted. The garlic mayo, even though it was hard to find the garlic flavor, was a good companion to the duck. My wife had the corn dusted trout with caramelized brussel sprouts, curried sweet potato and ginger brown butter. The trout was a little dry, but over all tasted ok. The skin side was soggy instead of crispy which detracted from the actual fish itself. The brussel sprouts were so salty they were inedible. The curried sweet potatoes were well done and paired well with the trout. The drinks from the bar were well made with just the right amount of alcohol. No complaints there. Overall, for a meal that cost $90 with tip, i know of a dozen places in Duluth and Norcross that would have been a better choice for the money spent. Then again, this is Lilburn and there isn't much here when it comes to decent restaurants. I see potential here, however attention to detail and quality control is lacking and must be corrected for this establishment to succeed.

We had some family in from out of town and we wanted to try something new so it wasn't going to get much more new than this. First off, the owners were very attentive. We had a larger party (9 adults 3 kids). Service was impressive for just being opened days before! I had the gouda meatloaf steak which was incredibly good! I also got to try the appetizer for fried green tomatoes with bacon jam and corn pudding... unreal! For dessert I had a red velvet cupcake which was delicious! I really am looking forward to when the restaurant is running at 100%. This is going to be a tough place to beat for excellence in quality and service!

We had a great date night. The food was wonderful and atmosphere was nice too. The bartender was helpful with selections. We tried the Moscow Mule - yum! The smoked pork chop was the freshest & juiciest we'd had in a very long time. The crab cake was awesome too (mostly crab not to much breading or fillers). We'll be back soon!

I drove to Lilburn to see a friend of mine I hadn't seen in years and she wanted to try out this joint, because it was new and the menu looked yummy online (we are both in the food industry, btw). I sort of knew there would be issues as soon as we walked in, considering we weren't greeted right away and the two ladies at the hostess stand continued to talk while we waited at the door. Our server, a male whose name started with an S, served us water that wasn't cold and had no ice, room temperature water just isn't that satisfying. He came by our table twice before our food came out (btw, our food took at least 45 minutes to arrive and we weren't there at the busiest part of lunch). I ordered a hot pimento cheese and bacon sandwich, thinking it would be this gooey, grilled cheese sort of sandwich. My friend ordered the barbecuban. Finally, we got our food, mine was globs of cold pimento cheese that tastes like the stuff I buy in a container at Kroger on almost burnt toast. I asked for coleslaw with it, which was soaking in an unflavorful dressing (when I asked for a to go box for half of my disappointing sandwich, I asked him to not put the coleslaw in, at that point, as a server, I would have asked if something was wrong....but nope.) My friend's barbeque was dry, over smoked, and not very warm, the cheese was not melted and she had whole pickle ends on it, who does that?? The only hot thing on our plates were my friends french fries, so I guess our food sat in the window while they fried fresh fries? We asked for the check, he proceeded to ignore us after giving it to us...so much so that we went to another server to pay (we were tired of sitting there, over an hour now). Needless to say, this place needs to get their sh!t together. I know they are new but it's not like they were doing their trial run or anything. I don't know how they even managed all the tables that were there by the time we left. We were really looking forward to eating here, unfortunately, it was just very disappointing. And I can make an $8 pimento cheese sandwich better than that at home. Good luck staying open!

When this place has something to excite my palate, it's good!!! When I first started going here, they had a crafted cocktail that was amazing!!!! The bartender who came up with the drink is no longer there and it's no longer on the menu. I've requested it a few times and at first it was still spot on. Not so much now. On this particular visit, I had the chicken salad croissant for brunch. I'm very picky when it comes to chicken salad, I'm not a fan of "wet" chicken salad. This was quite tasty, however; I could have gone with less raisins in it. They overpowered the roasted chicken and the spices on the chicken. While I didn't mind a few raisins, the amount that was in the sandwich made it too sweet for my taste buds. My fiancé had the steak and eggs. The steak was petit but was AMAZING!!! I could have eaten the whole cow the way this steak was seasoned. If you're in to seasonal menus, then give this place a try. I just wish this state would have TRUE brunch menu items. If you're going to serve 'brunch' starting at 10:30 and you can't have the tried and true Bloody Mary or Mimosa with it; it's just breakfast... this is no way a reflection of 1910 Public House but Georgia...

What a gem in Lilburn! We were very impressed with how well run everything was considering this place has only been open less than a week. We loved how they kept the original charm of this 1800's location with cool modern updates. The calamari appetizer & the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer were really good. They have the most wonderful warm rolls that come out with soft butter. So few restaurants provide bread and then usually you have to ask for it and often the warm bread comes with cold, hard butter. The Gouda meatloaf was really moist & served with parsnip mashed potatoes that were superb! My husband got the shrimp & grits & said it was great also. What was equally impressive was the size of the portions. We are both going to really enjoy our left overs for lunch tomorrow. Great value! They also have a large gluten free menu which you don't see too often. If you're really lucky their pastry chef will have made his special chocolate pecan pie. We're not big pecan pie fans, so we were hesitant. This should be called the ooey gooey chocolate yumminess with pecans. You HAVE to try it! I can't wait for their market to open next door! We asked and they plan to have local cheeses and sandwich options, along with a lot more I am sure! Only more good things to come. Go check this place out! Don't let the Lilburn address throw you off, it's right around the corner!

Went here today with my fiance for lunch since we've been wanting to try this place for a while now. The PBLT (pimento cheese, bacon, lettuce, and fried green tomato) was the most incredible sandwich of my life! It will definitely be my new weekly treat. My fiance liked the burger he ordered, but didn't love the potato salad. We'll definitely be frequenting this place more often.

We've been in for dinner and/or brunch a few times now, and so far have been really pleased with the food, and the atmosphere is great, on par with some of the nicer places in Norcross or Decatur. It's definitely nice having a place to eat in Old Town for a change. Wish the bar would stay open a little later, although I can understand that the location doesn't really call for it.

The atmosphere was wonderful and service great, but the food was underwhelming. I ordered an artisan salad that was anything but. Really iceberg??? Where are the micro greens or at least a spring mix medley. Forget the hamburgers, both of my children's were overcooked and dry. Buns were charred. They did correct it. Where is the quality control. It should have never left the kitchen. Finally to top it off we waited 40 minutes for two burgers, small side salad (no protein) and a special of country fried steak. The mash potatoes were good and so were the collard greens. The steak itself was nothing to write home about. Too bad wanted this place to be great, really disappointed. Overpriced.

I went to this restaurant since it is located in my neighborhood and really like to support local businesses as opposed to leaving Lilburn. I was totally disappointed in the menu and the professionalism of the waitress staff. The menu is very limited and has some weird combinations of foods. Chicken livers with peanut butter grits, who decided that. Also very limited, where is the kids menu. The only thing close is a burger which has pimento cheese and jalapeno peppers, I guess you could just ask for a burger without. I tried the shrimp and grits which were very gritty(undercooked). My friend had the burger, which she said was good. The bartender may need to ask for her money back from the school she studied at because the Long Island Iced Teas were extremely tart and she must have forgotten the alcohol because they tasted like country time lemonade only worse. I wanted to like the restaurant because the ambiance was great. Also, I totally get saving water for another use if possible, but we were seated and finishing our meal when the waitress took the water that was left in glasses from the table behind us and threw it into the area where plant were located. I mean exactly that not discreetly poured by thrown. A knife was dropped on the ground outside when the waitress was clearing the tables and I cannot tell you how long the knife was left there. We ate our meal and sat for at least 30 minutes and no one bothered to pick it up, perhaps they didn't see it. The waitress appeared to be very disorganized . To say the least, I don't think that I will be coming back.

Still need to up their game-- yes, it's wonderful to have a charming local choice without having to drive to Decatur (or elsewhere) but their growing pains persist. Second trip last night-- we went 3 weeks after it opened for my birthday (the staff totally ignored the special event) and decided to give them another 3 weeks to work out the kinks. They're going to need Gordon Ramsey STAT! if they keep up this progress. First time: appetizers good, entrée Meh. Cocktails & wine very stingy. Second time: appetizers good, entrees worse (plus they took close to an hour to arrive). They did figure out how to pour a very good and reasonably full martini. Wine off the chalkboard was also good. My husband complained that none of the entrees appealed to him, so he ordered a hamburger. They didn't even bother to toast the bun. They were already out of the first entrée I asked for (at 6:30 at night?), so I ordered what turned out to be meatloaf. As my husband said, it shouldn't take close to an hour to flip a burger and slice off a hunk of (dry) meatloaf. The waitress was very apologetic-- offering a "consolation prize" of some mediocre dessert. We would have much preferred if they'd given us a free martini :+) This place has really made downtown Lilburn a destination and the little town has great potential. Please, Public House, don't screw this up!

I had dinner here with a girlfriend and I am looking forward to going back with my husband. The reviews I read ahead of time were mixed and I hoped I would order the right thing and I absolutely did. I had their mahi-mahi special over jalapeno kale. It...was...wonderful. My friend ordered the pork chop, having had it before, and she cleaned her plate...:) We were there on a Friday night at 7:30 without a reservation and to wait about 20 minutes for a table, which was fine...we just got a glass of wine at the bar and strolled over to their inside market next door to talk and wait. The place is pretty loud, so be prepared to speak loudly to your dinner companions once you are seated, but I will definitely be going back. Great addition to Old Town Lilburn!

I've been so excited to have a new restaurant open up here in Lilburn, but after eating here twice, I will never do it again. The first time I went they gave us bread to tide us over for out meals to arrive (which took forever btw). Now I've had almost everything on the menu (eating off other people's plates), and nothing I've eaten was all that good. The best thing I've had was the burger, but it was entirely over priced! My friend ordered the same burger without the pimento cheese (he's Jewish) and well done. When it came it was covered with cheese and was almost rare. When they took it back it was medium well and still covered in cheese. When it came the third time there was nothing else on it. Just a bun and meat. The server finally brought him everything else, but no apology was said. When I asked if they still gave out bread at the beginning of the meal I was given a look of disgust and told that I should order the pimento cheese. I specifically asked for no bacon sauce on top. But it was smothered with it. So I didn't even get to eat that. I ordered the duck, which was chewy and the portion was so small I was still starving. So, I ate a little off everyone else's plate, none of which I really liked. Everyone I've been with (about 15 people so far) has been deeply disappointed by PRICE, the SERVICE, the NOISE and the FOOD! I swear, the only thing they have going for them if the cuteness, the novelty and the location, all of which I can enjoy staying right here in my own home! Needless to say, I am so very disappointed. I hope they either get their act together or another restaurant takes over the building that knows what the hell their doing. Won't eat here ever again.

went on the thursday night of their opening week. the hard chairs became uncomfortable to sit in after 30 minutes and conversations reverberate off the wood floors & brick walls making it kind of difficult to carry on a conversation when the place is full. I've never had sangria served with ice in the glass before. i ordered from the small plates... fried green tomatoes, calamari, & duck & stout brunswick stew. my only complaint was the spoon arrived about 20 minutes into my meal. All my food was good & i was too full to eat the stew so i had a nice doggie bag, but 3 small plates & a glass of sangria was $40 before the tip My friend was excited about their gluten free menu, so she ordered the gluten free burger without the customery pimento cheese. 10 minutes after placing her order, the waitress came back to say they were out of gluten free buns so she changed her order to the baked chicken. She asked to substitue brussel sprouts for the side with gluten & was told there'd be an upcharge for the sprouts. We were both disappointed they did not comp her sprouts for the inconvenience. When her plate arrived, the food was luke warm, not well seasoned, & the chicken was dry & tough. After sawing & tugging through a quarter of the chicken, she gave up. Her inedible chicken & a glass of peach sangria (with ice) check was $35 before tip. Neither of us will go to the restaurant again, but she is hopeful their market will have some appealing items for her.

Normally we have great service. However I have noticed that when someone other than the server brings out your food a quality check question is not asked or if you need anything else. With that said serving me waffles with no butter or syrup is not cool as I had to wait five minutes after the food runner literally ran after dropping the food off at the table for the server who was able to correct the issue but by that time the butter was right out of the fridge and waffle was like warm. However as stated before this was the first time we had less than exceptional service not sure if it was an off day or what hopefully that was it and we will see in the future maybe or maybe not.

To start, the server Steve was with an attitude, he ask what we wanted to drink took the order & left. After a while, he came back put the beers in the table & left. I told my wife this guy have a BIG attitude problem, I let it slide & waited some more. Wife order Scottish Salmon, I order Pot Pie, Brother in law order Ahi Tuna & Build Burger Swiss. Steve left with the order & we waited some more.. The first plate was Ahi Tuna, fallow with the Build Burger Swiss, then the Scottish Salmon & Steve left. Every one look at me & I told them to start eating so the food would not be COLD. I waited some more & Steve comes with my Pot Pie. Very nice presentation, Big empty plate & in top a nice looking ceramic bold with Chicken Stew? No Pot Pie to be found! I look to see if I can call Steve & he most be hiding at the kitchen. I ask another waiter to tell me what this bowl is & she look funny at me. I explain that I order Pot Pie & there is no Pie Crust any where to be found. She told me that the Pie Crust is suppose to be in top of the Stew. Waiter left & very quickly Steve comes with one Pie Crust in a plate, he put it down at the table & said to put the Pie Crust in top of the Stew, he was ready to leave & I call him back telling him to take this TWO plates & tell the cook to put it himself, no better ....I DO NOT WANT THIS POT PIE!. He did not apologize & told me to order something else, my mistake I should not have order anything but I was HUNGRY. I order Fish & Chips, they were good. This is the second time that we come to this establishment & have strike them out of my FIELD.

My husband and I visited here for the first time a few weeks ago. Everything was delicious, we enjoyed some great drinks, and our food tasted so fresh. We will be going back for our anniversary on Sunday. Don't forget to try their dessert wines! The Zinfandel dessert was so great, we had to order another!!!

We have been several times since my initial review back in February. Last night was no different. My thanks for the grand evening we had there last night for a pal's retirement party. The complementarity champagne awaiting on our table was spot-on. We got there at 7PM & closed the place. Service was excellent, food perfect (we all ordered differently & tasted each others), loved the appetizers. McKenzie, out wait person, was awesome. And thanks for Rich, GM, for visiting our table to chat & ensure we were having a fun night. Awesome, just awesome. Thanks.

They told us the chef was trained at The Cordon Bleu in New York, well he must have not been there tonight. What a horrible birthday dinner experience! I thought I would try somewhere new and the reviews on here were great, but our brie appetizer came out with pastry burnt and cheese cold in the middle, no big deal things happen and they were very nice to replace it. But when we cut into the second one which came out very quickly and the pastry was rubby and cheese molten it was very obvious that it was not cooked in a salamander or convection oven as the manager suggested. The calamari he gave us was so-so, not much flavor and a little chewy. Entrees looked OK, but lack of seasoning also. The asparagus was bitter. The waitress was very nice and efficient and the manager was kind, but we will not go back. The food was not worth one third of what we paid.

My sister and I came in for a late lunch and were created by Jamie, our fabulous server. He filled us in on the restaurant and the great things that go on in the area. We started our meal with the fried green tomatoes. Oh. My. Word. The cheese inside and the sauce that come with them pair up perfectly. My sister ordered the chicken pot pie and I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. The pot pie had this fabulous pastry crust and veggies that were to die for. My chicken sandwich had a perfectly seasoned crust and moist chicken. Check in on Yelp and you get a free glass of yummy Prosecco! I highly recommend 1910 Public House and when you go, ask for Jamie. He goes the extra mile for his customers!

So we are back again...this is my favorite place to brunch on Saturday's in Gwinnett...the interior is super cute and quaint...the food is delicious AND our Chef, Joseph, actually took his time to visit our table after we were done with our meal to check on us and to find out if we enjoyed our meal...of course we did, it was great. My friend and I both had the 1910 Breakfast and it always hits the spot. Don't forget that there are $12 Bottomless Mimosas served until 2:30 pm! They are excellent!!!! Last but not least, be sure to ask for DANA...she is the BEST Head Server we have had in a very long time...Love it here and we will certainly return!

As I write this I have been waiting for my meal for little over an hour........it's a nice Saturday day and very lax atmosphere, but for some reason it took forever to be served. I can't comment on the food yet because I haven't tasted it.... Update: The food and service was great. We will definitely return again.

I still enjoy this place but the turn over with employees is alarming. I visit every Tuesday while my son attends his piano class. The last 3 or 4 times my food orders have taken a while to be delivered and there is something partially wrong with the order or they don't have listed menu items.

On the way home from work, I was craving a burger but at the same time, I wanted to try something new. So I found this place in downtown Lilburn. I love this area, it's small and quaint. Perfect for walking around on a beautiful day. Anyways, I found this pub and knew the burgers should be good since I love burgers served at taverns. I ordered it to-go because I wanted to go home on a rainy day and was very tired after work. I was greeted by the host and he helped me somewhat with the menu. Even when I was waiting for my to-go order at the bar, the bartender also gave me good service if I wanted water or anything while I waited. THE FOOD Public House Burger cooked medium ($10ish) $1 extra for cheese (I ordered Swiss) Comes with a side order of your choice (I got potato salad) When I came home, the appearance of the burger looked okay. However, I was very disappointed at what I had received. I DIDN'T get my Swiss cheese that I PAID EXTRA for on my burger. My burger was cooked more medium rare when I asked specifically to be cooked medium. I couldn't even eat my burger right away and had to put cheese in my burger AND recooked it to the level I wanted on the stove. I would say the only thing they got right was giving me potato salad as my side order. I was not satisfied with the food I received and that I had to get out of my way to RECOOK my food when I had just received it 10 minutes ago. Very disappointed and I never went back ever since. When you take into account the money you paid for the burger AND tipped them to receive such a lousy burger affects my experience that I will share to others about 1910 Public House. Honestly, I would recommend other tavern places for better food, that you actually GET the things that you wanted AND PAID for. I was pissed that I paid extra for cheese and NOT receive it on the burger. What also upset me was that I came during the time they weren't very crowded so I was curious why they got my order so terribly wrong. And it was just one burger. At least remembered the cheese I paid for. I would have given it at least 3 stars if the cheese was actually in my burger. Anyways, I wouldn't come back to get food here from that experience I had just received weeks ago. I'm not paying extra money for things that I may or may not receive in my meal that I'm trying to enjoy after a hard-working day. So yes, 2 stars "Meh, I've Experienced Better."

Overall, I really enjoyed this restaurant. It was kind of empty, which made me nervous. The first sip of my cocktail, I knew I had nothing to worry about. I ordered the strawberry coconut cream drink, the name escapes me now. It was so so good. I followed that with the small plate of the pimento cheese. Another no fail. I would have eaten it with a spoon, but the warm bread was a nice touch. Lastly, I had the roast short rib with root vegetables over grits. The sauce was amazing. The portions were huge. We were too stuffed for dessert, but next time I'll save room. Final word on this place, get in your car, drive over there and eat their food. You'll thank me later. Unless you're crazy.

It was ok, for apps we had the Bruschetta* and Ravioli. The Brushetta wasn't bad although not enough garlic but I did like the capers. Ravioli was ok but the sauce wasn't bad, I want to say it was like a spicy tomato vodka. Dinner I had the lamb which had a scalloped potato like slice of keesh (I can't spell for beans, it's like a light pie but savory not sweet.) and my date had the rib eye with Mac and cheese and kale. The lamb dish looked grayed out and needed some color. It was alright but in my heart I think I really wanted lamb chops anyways. It was a little bland. Her steak was really thin, I could have went to publics for half the price for a much bigger one. It did have a nice charbroiled taste too it though. Mac and Cheese was alright but she liked the kale. But who cares what she thinks anyways. Your reading my review not hers. Anyways maybe we ordered the wrong things because everyone loved it. On the reviews. We went on a Sunday and it was dead so I guess that's the secret. There dessert game is strong, I had the banana and chocolate pudding which was a special and it was good. Bartender was on point too. She had some strawberry thing and I have a dirty martini and a Vespa. The Vespa was great! I dunno how James Bond drinks some many and shoots straight. And ways to try it, I like the new lilburn there building over there. *Its God damn pronounced Bru-scett-A. Don't ever correct the customer. Even if I'm wrong. Which I'm fing NOT!

Fantastic service with equally good food. Enjoyed dinner and dessert, if you are beer drinker they have you more than covered. Had the ribeye and meatloaf both had wonderful flavor, I typically don't order meatloaf out but this was very good. Truffle mac & cheese was excellent. Will be back, often!

This place is my new request every time I visit home. Good grief - that pimento cheese sandwich is so good I wish I could pack it up and move it with me everywhere. The decor is well-curated and I feel like they must have a great sense of humor in addition to their mad skills at fried green tomatoes. Is it not cool to visit the same restaurant twice in the same weekend? Don't care.

Recently dined here for brunch. Food was excellent and service (Tricia) even better. Her recommendation of French toast was spot on. Our mimosas were always full and it had a great vibe for both families and singles. Please go see Tricia and team on your weekends!

What a hidden gem! Everything was wonderful! The prices were great, fantastic food options, and awesome drink specials. Fast service and relaxing atmosphere with a fabulous mix of reclaimed wood/brick mill styled interior and decor. I wish we lived closer so we could go every weekend for brunch. I would suggest getting the chicken and waffles, and the bottomless mimosas!! They were amazing!! Everyone in our group of 8 really enjoyed themselves, and we would definitely go back!

Came here for $12 bottomless mimosas and I was not disappointed! Excellent ratio of OJ & champagne. They also keep the mimosas coming and no annoying wait time! If you're craving some good mimosas then this is the place you got to go!

I visited 1910 Public House with my family to celebrate my mom's birthday. Dining out with the family is always nerve-wracking, since they don't eat out often and usually rely on me to choose destinations. As a result, I tend to be hyper aware of small lapses that I might normally ignore. I had very high hopes about 1910 Public House given its rating, but I found it to be just okay. We had a reservation on a Friday evening, and I had requested a table in a quieter part of the restaurant due to my father's limited hearing. We were seated in the attached market area, which had large glass cases that during the day most likely display an array of prepared foods you could pop in and grab for lunch. Also nearby was the dessert case, and throughout the evening, the restaurant staff used the counter top directly next to my head to plate desserts. Overall, the very casual ambiance of the market side of the restaurant set the wrong tone for the type of meal we were there to have. I realize that we were seated there most likely because it was somewhat quieter, though the speaker directly over our table playing loud late '90s pop music limited the benefit of the location. Within a minute or two of being seated, our server approached with water glasses and a bottle of water for the table (lovely touch!) and asked if we were ready to order. We weren't, so he left and unfortunately did not return for around 10 minutes. The four of us ordered our meals and beverages. None of us ordered an appetizer or small plate to start, and we had what felt like quite a long wait for our meals. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt about the wait, except that we also had a ridiculously long wait for drinks. None of the drinks were alcoholic (sweet and unsweetened teas), but it took so long for the waiter to bring them (15 minutes, maybe?) that I literally forgot that we had ordered them. I believe our meals arrived the table very nearly 40 minutes after we were seated, which felt excessive. Throughout the night, my impression was that the level of service in no way matched the type of restaurant 1910 is clearly trying to be. The food was okay, but not especially impressive, particularly given the prices. A plate of Southern fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans came with a laughable four beans. Four. The crab cakes small plate was okay, but had a little more filler than one might hope, but the roasted pear salad was a very pleasant surprise. I think it might have been the most-enjoyed plate of the entire table. The least enjoyable dish was most definitely the seared ahi tuna. Per the chef's recommendation, it was ordered medium rare. I have enjoyed many a medium rare tuna steak, but never before have I been served tuna that was still cold to the touch in the middle. Unfortunately, the "sushi grade" tuna was not a steak but two chunks of tuna, and the extreme thickness in some parts meant it wasn't warmed through. In addition, there was a horrible piece of tough connective tissue running through one of the chunks. Overall, I was disappointed in 1910 Public House, but I want to give them the benefit of the doubt with an "A-OK" rating. I feel like they have a lot of potential, but I don't plan to return to find out if they achieve it.

Living in east Cobb, we have a multitude of high quality restaurants competing for our business within a short drive, but he Lilburn Public House would compete successfully anywhere in town, and we're happy to make the trip often. Occupying a beautifully restored historic building, with a lovely patio and a delightful pub, the food is and the surroundings are truly exceptional and you'll love it. We travel there from east Cobb regularly, and are always comfortable and delighted.

We went to 1910 PH on the recommendation of some friends who'd gone the weekend before for brunch. We went for Sunday brunch and were pleasantly surprised. Who knew there was such a place in Lilburn?! Located in downtown Lilburn, 1910 PH is a great spot for brunch (or dinner). The interior is rustic, with exposed brick. It has a nice size bar in the center of the restaurant. The brunch menu is pretty varied. Our choices were the Belgian waffle with (fried) chicken breast and the french toast with apples compote. I added the chicken breast at the recommendation of our server. Both were quite delicious. The french toast was a generous portion and while it was served with syrup, it really didn't need it (in my opinion). The chicken breast had a great flavor. We also ordered a side of the grits, which had a nice consistency and were not "runny". Note to self, if you wish to have an adult beverage of some sort, alcohol can't be served until 12:30p on Sunday. So keep that in mind. (Fortunately, our service was proactive and took our drink order in advance so he could place it once 1230p arrived.) The service was good. The food was even better. We found several of the menu items on their menu are also on their sister restaurant, Sprig, in Atlanta. Although 1910 is considered "OTP" (outside the perimeter), a trip to 1910 PH is worth it for those living in nearby areas. We'll return again to try other brunch or dinner items.

Our office loves this place. Finally, a bistro-like restaurant in a developing Main Street Lilburn that is delicious. We can see this as the foundation, as businesses start to grow around it. Great atmosphere with a nice bar set up in the center. Service is right on and the location is wonderful. Will be bringing many clients, friends and family to 1910!

We have been to this restaurant 3 times and unfortunately every time we have been told they are having a staffing issue. Once there was only 3 customers, when we got our food it was cold. ..."Oh sorry, we are having problems in the kitchen" Tonight was our 3rd and last visit to this place. The food is very good but the ravioli and crab cakes were NOT even warm...100% cold. The staff is running around looking stressed out of minds. Not a very relaxing environment.

The atmosphere was good and the decor was a nice change... but dust your light fixtures, whoa! I ordered the shrimp and grits... this dish was just awful. The grits were not creamy or cheesy as described , the sausage overpowered all the other flavors and the brown sauce served with it was just.... well, not appealing. However, I thought the deconstructed pear salad had a wonderful homemade vinegrette dressing mixed in. My other half had the Ahi Tuna but it was dry dry dry. The sauce on it however was wonderful the overall flavors were good. Lot of empty tables but I imagine it's busy on the weekends.

Wow!!!! 1910 is a hidden treasure. We have been to 1910 twice and, after many Buckhead experiences, NY's finest, and global tastings, I can honestly say 1910 is our favorite restaurant. Farm to table goodness, chef Thomas Hubbard creates a plate of heavenly delight. The food is SPOT ON with layers of flavors blending perfectly together. Our service is always excellent. It is a combination of family and VIP treatment I had yet to experience since moving to Atlanta 14 years ago. 1910 should be listed in every travel magazine as a "MUST!" From Sunday brunch to a romantic date night, 1910 is the spot. If you want a place that is beautiful yet homey, delicious and fresh, with plenty of yummy AND gluten free options....and still somehow affordable, this is the place for you! Thank you Chef Thomas and staff for making a girl so happy! (And full!!!)

This is my favorite go-to spot in Gwinnett. My husband and I are total foodies and we love 1910, especially for brunch. I've been for brunch, lunch and dinner. You can't beat this place OTP. It's like a little slice of Decatur in Lilburn, which is great! Basically everything is fantastic here, especially the $12 bottomless mimosas! The bartenders are awesome and the waitstaff is attentive. I highly recommend this place.

Great atmosphere and great food. Shared two appetizers and the chicken pot pie. Then we took it to the next level with the chocolate bread pudding in bourbon sauce, OMG! We were very happy with our meal. Service was great too. Just watch out for the liquor drinks, upwards of $12 for a vodka tonic, ouch!

It was alright. I had the catfish tacos, which were good but not great. The annoying thing about them is that a taco, even an overstuffed and messy one, should still aspire to at least the appearance of a handheld food. My plate of tacos looked like a salad covered in black-eyed peas and, after verifying that there were in fact tortillas underneath, I just went at it with a fork. I don't have a problem with utensils, but if you want to serve a taco salad, call it that. The others at my table seemed pleased enough with their meals, although they aren't the most effusive bunch when it comes to food anyway. I couldn't help but feel like things were a touch pricey for what they were, but I'm glad there is a restaurant like this here to get things going in Lilburn. I hope they stick and they get their tacos under control.

I hate to do this, I do. It's very rare that I leave a negative review-- I'm the person who fills out comment cards for great customer service at Publix or writes an email to rave about their employee. We've visited 1910 several times. It's been good at times and just okay other times. But our visit on Saturday night was just bad. It started with pimento cheese (which should be a great way to start any story, AM I RIGHT??). The $9 bacon jam-topped pimento cheese used to be served in a cute mason jar, and was plenty for a table of 4 or 5. The last couple of times we dined at 1910, it came out in a dollhouse-sized skillet. Adorable to everyone but your appetite. It used to come with crostinis or pita bread: the perfect dip vehicles. It's now served with three half-slices of toast. I'm talking white slices of Sunbeam sandwich bread. The manager (super-short hair, maybe bald head?) came over to clear some plates and I casually mentioned the pimento cheese situation. This is where things went downhill. The bread could be excused, but this man's condescending attitude and brush-off customer service skills were pretty terrible. He was confused on why we weren't happy with the bread. I told him in a complimenting way that it put the chef's delicious pimento cheese to shame. (I left off the part about charging 9 bucks for an appetizer featuring sliced bread.) He said, "Well, what would you rather have??" I suggested that maybe they bring back the crostinis or pita. He then *explained* to us that a crostini is just toasted bread. Lovely. He very much brushed us off and half-assedly said that he would mention our suggestion to the chef. He had this eye-rolling attitude towards us for some reason. And then... the best part... he came back to our table with more sliced bread. That was just the cherry on top. Or the bacon jam topping on the pimento cheese. (Side notes: My husband had the short ribs and was still hungry after. He said it just tasted like beef with very little flavor, and the amount of food was abysmal. Two of us had the fried chicken, which was EXCELLENT in the past, but was salty enough to burn your tongue this time. Our friend had the chicken pot pie that was oddly served with a sliced chicken breast on the side and looked like soup.) I'm not sure if the chef changed recently, or if they are just trying to save money, but things are not looking so great for 1910 these days.

Amazing meal. Ah tuna tacos to die for. Mike is a great employee with a lot of information on the restaurant and location. I will be back!

The only reason this place gets 2 stars is because the waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. The steak was overcooked and tasteless, sweet potato fries cold, hamburger overcooked as well. We got there at 6 and the place was overstaffed, they all just stood around awkwardly.

We found the 1910 public house by chance. Fantastic brunch can't wait to come back to try dinner Wife had quiche and I had the palmetto cheese sandwich. My sandwich was topped we it bacon and fried green tomato. Very great FYI the county does not alow alcohol sales until 12:30 on Sundays. So our brunch was really breakfast. But still worth the stop

Have been there now for brunch, lunch and dinner and have enjoyed each time. Would def rec the pimento cheese hamburger. The atmosphere is great. The service, especially last time we went there, was wonderful. The appetizer of fried calamari was not overcooked and would rec that as well. Ravioli was OK, but nothing special, so would skip that since there are a lot of other great things on the menu. We did have one time there when we brought our kids where we were not happy with how the meals came out and we did write our concerns on a questionnaire they had at the table. We later got a call from the manager who invited us back and apologized. We really felt like that was great customer service and appreciated the response.

The first time I ate here for lunch I wasn't impressed. Had a poboy sandwich and while the shrimp and the dressing on it was delicious, the bread was a bit dry. I decided to order something from the market side this past Thursday thinking I would give them another try. I ordered the garden salad and a fruit cup to go with my BBQ chicken I brought from home. Omg!!!!! That salad was scrumptious!! It had sliced pears in it, fresh Gouda, and a bunch of leafy greens. No iceberg lettuce :) The dressing is what brought it together. I believe it's the house balsamic dressing. Now on to the fruit: fresh and juicy. It consisted of strawberries, apple slices, orange, and kiwi! Perfect sides to my BBQ chicken. Today I stopped by for an after Cross fit breakfast. The place was empty probably because no one knows they serve breakfast :/ I ordered a plate with egg, bacon, and sausage. I don't do bread so no bagel or biscuit. Service was quick, serving was generous, and the taste was perfect. The eggs were cooked just right. The bacon was crisp but not burnt and the sausage patty was the size of a hamburger party. It also had a bit if a kick to it. I was a very happy camper and the price was descent. It was a good start to my day!

This restaurant is what I call "hit or miss". They keep changing chefs which can be good or bad depending on who is "it". My husband had his retirement party here in May 2014 and they did an excellent job all the way around! The food and service were at their best! Last time I went, several months ago, I thought the food was so-so. We can't get enthused to go back after hearing the chef has left and is now at their other restaurant, Sprig. Hopefully, they will get their game back and start serving quality dishes again. Old Town Lilburn could use a great restaurant that stays on its toes.

Best carrot cake I've ever tasted. Pork chop was great & hand cut fries were really good. Vegetables weren't cooked perfectly, but difficult to do with carrots & peas. Ryan said, "My burger melted in my mouth." Kelly said everything was very fresh. Nice farm to table approach. Decor was urban, yet inviting. We'll definitely be back.

What an outstanding meal we both had! The scallops were seared just right and the lemon risotto they were served on was so creamy and not overloaded on lemon. The crispy Brussel sprouts were just fantastic. My husband had the trout special which was just incredibly impressive and crisped just right. The portions were also just about perfect as well. I cannot tell you how outstanding tonight's meal was. The mussel appetizer deserves a wonderful shout out as well. We have not been here for quite awhile as our first visit was shortly after it opened and service was disappointing, however this place at this time has it right. Our server was Michael who was proud to be part of this place and the food as he should be!

Ok im basing my review off of just one visit. My first visit was there today. So here goes. This place looks super cool. Its the kind of place u can feel comfortable at. Where u could see your friends all hanging out having drinks over an awesome fresh meal. But looks are about as far as it goes. The staff TODAY we slow and sluggish. The food we ordered was over cooked. I had a medium burger which was a small patty cooked well done on a huge bun. Side note. The bun was very good. And the french fries are awesome too. We also ordered a chicken sandwich which was dry dry dry. The free wine from the yelp deal was a nice bonus. All in all id try again as I think it was a bad day. And truth is id rate this a 2.5 but not a 3. So I had to go with 2. Sorry. But ill change it if I go back and if its better food and service.

Sister location of Sprig, which I adore already. Fresh local food that is worth what you are paying for it. My husband and I ate at the dinner side - we had burgers and fries. The burgers were well dressed and cooked right; the fries - I loved them !!!! They were hand cut potato fries that are not greasy in the least and well seasoned so I dare you to not use ketchup!! We are interested in coming back to see more of the seasonal menu. Oh and the bathrooms are on the market side past the big wood door (no signs on restaurant side!!). Wait staff was knowledgeable and fantastic! A couple days later I checked out the market side for an early lunch. The coffee drink I chose was nice!! (Very comparable to Starbucks or fancy coffee shops ). My croissant was delightful - you can decide what goes on it. Breakfast is served 8-10am. This place is pretty new still so I see a few kinks to work out like letting the customer know what the order and sit down process is- when to pay - etc. (market side) A pleasant experience overall and I'd go back. I want to try the outdoor seating!

I requested 1910 for my birthday dinner since I am gluten free (Celiac) and have trouble finding quality gfree food in this area. Wow, they did not disappoint! I contacted the restaurant beforehand to ask if the fried chicken could be cooked gfree, and the owner totally helped me out on that! (Jennifer ROCKS!) - That was possibly the best fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans with gravy (an added gf bonus!) I have had in some time! My husband even tried it and said it was amazing! My husband had the scallops, My oldest daughter had the ahi tuna, and my youngest had the kids chicken fingers. No one had any complaints (well, my husband did say he wished there were more scallops on the plate!) The pimento cheese appetizer with gfree bread is delicious, and the desserts did not disappoint. Thank you for a wonderful birthday evening! It was so tasty!!!!!

I have visited this restaurant multiple times for dinner service and was never disappointed. I find this to be perfect for a date night due to the intimate rustic setting. The appetizers are perfect for sharing because the entrees were plentiful.

Went to 1910 Public House for dinner to celebrate a birthday. Our waitress was fantastic, the food was was good we started with the pimento cheese topped with bacon jam was so good. The calamari was fresh so was the crispy shrimp. Our main course of the fried chicken was flavorful. The boneless short ribs was so good nothing was left. The chocolate bread pudding was so delicious there was nothing left.they definitely fed us and took care of us.

We really love having 1910 Public House in Lilburn. It has become our go-to for excellent food. The menu changes seasonally and they source from local farmers. There are always several items I would be happy ordering. Just tried the Chicken and Waffles on the brunch menu...did not disappoint! The tuna steak is also a favorite. The list could go on.

As a previous reviewer noted, the restaurant is indeed like a slice of Decatur in downtown Lilburn. Casual and trendy atmosphere with the the historic structure of the building blended nicely with industrial accents and artistic decorations. Staff was friendly and attentive. All food is prepared at the time of order, well executed, and clearly fresh. For appetizers, we had the 1910 Crab Cakes and PEI Mussels. The Crab Cakes were will executed but small and seemed to have a bit to much filler. The PEI Mussels were absolutely outstanding and a very large portion. One minor complaint would be the the Mussels come with 4 small pieces of bread which is not near enough to enjoy the remaining sauce. We asked for additional bread which was another 4 small slices. I was surprised to see a 1.00 addition to the bill. Drinks are of the artisan variety and again will executed. A standard drink however had an additional mixer charge of .50 (e.g. Bourbon and Coke). 7.00 for the Bourbon + .50 additional for a splash of Coke. I wonder if a slice of lime would have been an additional .50 as well ;-). These types of charges take away from the the overall experience of an otherwise reasonably priced meal (40.00/person meal app, entree, drink) given the quality and preparation of the food. For main entree's the Lamp Shank with Risotto and brussels sprouts was a sizable portion and outstanding. Literally fall off the bone. The seared Ahi tuna with wasabi mashed potatoes was an equally sizable portion and again very flavorful and well executed. Could not help but notice the neighboring tables country fried beef tenderloin and shrimp and grits which encourage a return visit. Great to have such a quality food experience in this small town.

Excellent food, exceptional service and amazing atmosphere! We hosted a birthday party dinner for 17. The table was set-up perfectly so everyone could socialize. The GM, Rich Walker, went above and beyond with persoanlized menus and service. He made sure our dinner party was the most enjoyable experience. He listened and catered to all the guests. Our servers were fantastic. Chef Joseph even came and greeted our table and was met with applause. All the guests raved about the entire evening, especially the food. Many were first timers and stated that they will be back. This restaurant is awesome. Good leadership from Rich Walker and a great staff in both front and back of house.

Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Food was excellent with good sized portions. We had the chili shrimp appetizer with trout and country steak strips for our entrees. While the food is good what stood out for me was the cocktails. All fresh fruit was used with no powdered or concentrate mixers. This makes for very tasty drinks. Alcohol selection is fairly limited but most seem to be good choices. The place has the feel that it is still establishing its identity. I think they are heading in the right direction and will only get better. We will be back.

This place was amazing, but a little slow. We ordered 2 burgers with fries. They were both delicious. It took about 25 minutes. The service was nice, but I had to keep flagging them down. I would defiantly come here again!

It was my first time visiting, and I had an amazing experience! Our waitress Dana was quick while still being extremely personable. Not to mention, her bringing a fresh slice of coconut cake with our red velvet order since my mom had commented on it being a tiny bit dry last time. We have yet to taste it, but the gesture speaks volumes! Needless to say, we are excited to come back.

Crowded so we sat at the bar. Did get good service from the bartenders. Dinners seemed a little pricey but enjoyed myself have a good dinner with my husband. Nice to see a better restaurant in the area. Had the trout and brussel sprouts which was good. Would like to come back and try other items on the menu.

I've had both Sunday brunch and dinner here, both were great! I had the salmon over sage mashed potatoes last time and it hit the spot! We had a party of 10 and the service was excellent. I see this place a lot in my future!!

I SO want to like this restaurant; it's close to home and one of two in my area to offer something more than pub grub or fast food or chain restaurant food. However, after 5 visits (twice for lunch, three times for dinner) I have been disappointed except on my first dinner occasion, which was great. The lunch options are limited, and those I have tried are only so-so, except for the fried green tomatoes and fried pickles. They seem to be "out" of some dishes with some frequency; "out" meaning the dishes don't get made although they remain on the menu. For example, after my first dinner - the gouda meatloaf with pimento cheese hash browns (the potatoes were heavenly) - I ordered it again on my second visit. Only this time the meatloaf came with very mediocre mashed potatoes; reminded me of mashed from dry flakes. When I asked, the server said he hadn't known until after the food was served that they were "out" of the pimento cheese spuds. That was 6:30 on a Saturday night about 2 weeks ago; they weren't out, they just didn't bother to make them nor warn the customer about it. Last night, my third dinner, I hoped that the wonderful spuds would be available, but the waitress said that the chef had decided not to make them anymore, although still on the menu and apparently loved by everyone. Instead, I had the "blackened" tuna with grits and fried green tomatoes - just awful. The tuna was ice cold and a light grayish-brown color on the outside. I guess whoever cooked doesn't know what "blackened" is. The grits, although tasty, were lukewarm. The fried green tomatoes were overcooked and practically dripping with grease (usually they're really good). I sent the food back to have the tuna cooked some more & the grits heated up. A waste of time. The tuna was just a littler grayer, and the grits were colder. I ate a little and brought the rest home for the dog. I just didn't want to sit there anymore. The best things I have had are the key lime pie (from a bakery in Norcross, so it might be more consistent) the fried pickles (they use bread & butter pickles), the fried green tomatoes (when cooked properly), and the pimento cheese hash browns - not that they will ever be made again. Sigh.

Loving this place, as it has warm friendly help and exceptional quality, service, and food. The appetizers were delicious, fresh, and top tier, just like the rest of the food my family tried. We all look forward to returning to try everything else on the menu.

I'm definitely a fan of 1910 Public House's Market side of the business. I went with a friend for an early lunch and they were very welcoming and accommodating. I got a turkey wrap, and they got the order right in leaving off the bacon and avocado. My friend was craving more breakfast foods, and even though it was past the time of serving breakfast, they still made her an egg and bacon sandwich on a croissant. I will definitely be going back in the near future to try the sit down restaurant side!

Airy, modern in an old building, kind-of-trendy, almost out of place in a town that has never really had a decent restaurant. It's described a Southern-influenced - maybe so - I'm not certain exactly what that is. My wife and I tried it tonight and were more than pleasantly surprised. We were promptly and courteously seated, served water, offered drinks, our waitress was friendly and helpful - she knew the menu - provided suggestions. We were brought some delicious corn muffins. Both of us ordered the Low country shrimp and smokey grits with Andouille sausage - So, I really like shrimp and grits and this is served with a tomato based sauce - I was betting it would be a hard dish to pull off. It was great - or better... an excellent blend of creamy - cheese grits (Parmesan) - some roasted red pepper - a moderately spicy tomato sauce - the aforementioned shrimp and just enough andouille sausage to round this dish out... Southern I suppose - perhaps a bit Cajun. Excellent - multiple flavors played against each other - separately and distinctive - hey, they pulled it off well... Service was just fine. The owner stopped by to check on us. We walked into the attached storefront and talked to the pastry chef - looked over her offerings - the pumpkin mousse looked interesting. I will be back. ...and will seriously consider moving from 4 stars to 5 once I'm convinced that this wasn't just a chance alignment of events. I hear that the Gouda Meatloaf Steak is good - two good experiences would do it for me - I've lived in the Lilburn culinary free zone for years - maybe it's finally possible that Lilburnites can dine out decently without leaving town. ....... I have been back two times. I tried the meatloaf and have to admit that it was a decent experience. The place is "comfortable". They are still making changes. I understand that a new manager is in place. I'm going to say that the jury is still out on another star. But again, this is an intrusion into the Lilburn culinary free zone... For that, it deserves a chance. As I drove by on Valentines evening, theplace was crowded. GREAT! I hope they continue to improve and wish them much success...

This place was really good. A hidden gem in Lilburn! The Belgian waffle comes w/2 waffles so it big enough to share. The chicken and waffles Benedict wad an unexpected but very tasty treat...I will definitely be having that again. I would have given them 5 stars but the service was a little slow for them to not be real busy. We'll be back!!!!

1910 was great. We got here at noon on a Monday and I was surprised they were not busier! The Autumn Pimms was an awesome drink and my blackened salmon sandwich was amazing. The ravioli (deserving of much more than a side mention) was also excellent, will definitely be back.

I'm glad to see something doing well in Blue Roosters old space! Great farm to table restaurant that locally sources all their ingredients. Great atmosphere too. I got the 1910 Public House Burger and fries. So delicious! My mom got the burger and potato salad and said that the potato salad did not disappoint. Definitely worth it!

Went here on a busy Saturday night, sat at the bar after 10 minutes of being glanced at several times by 3 different bartenders we finally ordered drinks (which were mixed wrong) ordered the lg salads after a 40 minute wait our salads came out drowned in dressing that we had asked for on side, and they were tiny so we asked about the size and our server told us that they were the small salads when we told her we specifically asked for the large she actually giggled and said oops I guess I ordered the wrong one and WALKED AWAY!!! Deciding that this was ridiculous we threw down a $20 and walked out. Won't be back very disappointed. Menu choices are too pricey and trying to hard to be " the in thing". The public house has missed the mark very sad to say!

We are now regulars at 1910 Public House (probably once a week). We especially like the $10 burger and beer. Burgers are really good. Salads are excellent, too - my favorite is the beet salad. We like that it's close to home.

We tried this place based on an article in Our Town, a local magazine. Before, we didn't know it was there. The décor is lovely (love the barn doors and whitewashed brick), the outdoor café has delightful vintage steel chairs, the staff was pleasant and knowledgeable, the food is local, the fries were so good, I didn't eat anything else because they were like the food of the gods--moist puffs of potatoes on the inside and crisp on the outside. The okra had a delectable tempura coating and was cooked to perfection, and the mac and cheese was clearly homemade and to die for. Key lime pie was a perfect confection of clouds of lime and whipped cream. We saw a few folks we know, because we are local, and that always makes a restaurant more welcoming.

First time to 1910 Public House and I enjoyed my meal! I had a pork chop with sweet potatoes and apples. My wife had country fried tenderloin with creamy risotto. The service was good too.
