I just had an amazing buffalo chicken sandwich with medium wing sauce and avocado served by our fantastic waitress Tori M. The chicken breast was huge and the onion rings were some of the best I have had in a long time. Late lunchtime during the week is a great time to miss the crowds and is relaxing.

Best outdoor rum bar east of the Mississippi, south of the Tallulah Gorge, and north of the Florida Georgia line! The Thursday afternoon bartenders are the best, (Alicia) but the others are great too...

We have dined at Olde Town Tavern on MANY occasions. In fact, it was our go-to spot (great chicken wings) at least once per week since moving here in 2013, but the last few times we've gone (including yesterday) the service has caused me to walk out of the establishment. I'm not sure what's going on, but even during slow periods I'm having trouble getting waited on or having servers come to the table in a timely manner. This has happened on 2 occasions, once a couple months ago (then I stopped coming), and last night when I decided to give the spot another shot. Last night, I entered in around 7pm. I stood at the door and waited to be seated...and waited and waited. Party of one. 2 people were near the desk. One was showing a male patron the cake selection, another walked up and grabbed menus or something. Still no acknowledgement, no greeting, no "we'll be right with you"... Nothing. Meanwhile the gentleman continued to get the cake tour. Rather than call for help or excuse herself briefly to acknowledge me, she continued giggling over the cakes. I exited after waiting for at least 5 minutes or so. How long SHOULD I wait if I'm offering to pay YOU for my business? Well, as I got in my car and checked my rear view mirror, that same gentleman and his party were leaving. So to make things worse, this was a patron who'd already received and finished his dinner service. The ratings for this business will continue to decline until service is put back at #1,... Especially for regulars. I vote with my feet.

Horrible. If I could leave zero stars, I would. I grabbed a beer from the inside bar before deciding it was too nice to sit inside. So I closed out my tab (to tip the very pleasant bartender) and then moved to the outside bar. All the barstools were taken so I grabbed a patio table and waited. And waited. And waited. 10 minutes passed and the bartender outside didn't make any attempt to greet me or ask if I wanted anything else. But she made sure to make three or four trips each to the other tables (of all men) while chatting it up with those seated at the bar. I'm a bartender. I know what weeded (ie, overwhelmed) looks like. She was nowhere near weeded. I left my table with half my beer untouched as I was too disgusted to drink it. I asked for the manager before leaving and let her know exactly why I would never be back to their store. Never even saw a menu. Couldn't tell you anything about their food or other beverages.

I have eaten here 3 times. First time was great. Loved the beer selection. Second time I found glass in my salad. The rest of the meal was good. Management did apologize but only refunded partial price on my meal. Third time I found part of a rubber/latex glove in my burger. And it was under cooked. Management did not apologize or refund. I will not return or eat at any other location.

Went here NYE around 7 pm and were seated in a timely manner. We sat at our table for at least 10 mins before someone came to get our drinks. People that got sat at a booth across from us had someone get to them in secs but it was a diff waitress. I was already irritated at that point! I ordered the Cajun Pasta with Shrimp and Vegetable medley and FI ordered Chicken Florentine with Ceaser salad. We waited for a bit for our food but thats understandable cos they were busy. When i was almost done with my pasta(which was surprisingly good), i realized we didnt get our sides. WTF?! We asked out waiter and someone dropped it off when we had paid and everything and we quickly grabbed the person to pack it to go. We had to toss them in the trash because it stunk up the car. Service = 1/5 Food = 2/5

Restaurant was nice, clean, and comfortable. The portions were huge, I suggest splitting a meal if you aren't used to generous portions. The managing partner here really cares about his guest's experiences. I can't say I've seen better customer support anywhere else. Give the Tavern a try. You may just love it.

Disgusting! Our table was so dirty and sticky. My daughter's highchair was filthy. Customer service was nonexistent and no manager to be found. Def do not recommend.

Maybe it was a bad night for them but they didn't deliver on any front. It doesn't help that my brother refused to go there. My drink was dropped and spilled on me and instead of an apology I received excuses. Then I was still charged for the drink that was spilled. Instead of making a fuss about it I just paid for it and left. This used to be a favorite hangout spot for my brother and I but not anymore...

Just had the roasted tilapia with the Cajun cream sauce. It was to die for!!! That Cajun sauce is the bomb.com and the steak fries are great too. Make sure to get the bootleg sauce to dip your fries in.

Dear fellow Yelpers: I apologize to you, for giving Old Towne Tavern and Grille only three stars. Because, honestly, what does THREE stars tell you? If I liked or loved the place, it would have received four or five stars. Conversely, if my experience was not good, I would limit the star count to two or one. But three stars?... Nearly meaningless fence strattlling. The interior is nice; dark wood panelling, real gas lanterns, loads of mirrors and huge televisions. There is a 2nd floor for large parties. The waitstaff is easy on the eyes. Bathrooms are pretty clean. No complaints here... The food was served as ordered - no mistakes. My daughter's kids burger was prepared as ordered, and served with nice fat steak fries. My wife and I ordered salads, and they were fine. The waitress made sure our beverages remained full - no complaints here either... So why only three stars? Well because that's what the place EARNED in my opinion. Everything was "fine" and "as expected" and nothing was either horrible or fantastic. Having said that, there are a LOT of places a family of 3 can spend $30 - $35 for dinner, and many of them are either really good and a few are even EXCEPTIONAL. Olde Towne does a lot right, which is why they have been around for a long time, but if I'm looking to spend the same amount of money in this neighborhood, I'm crossing the street and eating at Papis Cuban, or driving to Historic Lawrenceville Square for McCray's Tavern.

Had dinner here not too long ago. Honestly, I wish I could say the food impressed me but sadly it did not. I ordered the tuna steak dinner with mashed potatoes and I believe broccoli. All I know is all I ate was the mashed potatoes and broccoli because the tuna was way overcooked till the point of needing something to wash it down with. I am not the type to send food back but I was very tempted to send it back to the kitchen to get something else. However, I just decided to eat veggies which to my recollection was tasty. My date had some chicken dish which was just mediocore. The server was attentive and came by the table often. I don't know if I will give the place another chance since there are so many restarants in the area to try but who knows maybe one day I will pay another visit.

I bought a coupon book from one of the neighborhood kids who was raising money for school, and it had a "buy one get one free" coupon for Olde Towne. It's less than a mile and a half from my house, and i'd never been there, so I thought "why not?" Initial impressions of the place were good - the decor looks nice, and the host/servers were well dressed and smiling. My girlfriend and I sat down and ordered beers, but they were out of the one we both wanted. No biggie, I ordered a Guinness and she ordered a Sweetwater 420. Either they got her the wrong beer, or their keg was old, because it didn't taste good at all. This should have been a warning, but we pressed on. We both ordered large salads (a steak caesar for me, and some kind of pasta salad/normal salad with chicken concoction for her) and sat sipping our beers until the food came. My steak caesar had about a 1/4 of a steak's worth of meat on it, and the lettuce was limp and soggy with dressing. I thought I was getting the worse end of the deal until I saw my lovely lady make a wrinkled face at her salad. It smelled like feet. You heard me, feet. Not freshly washed, lavender-scented lady feet ... more like overweight, sweaty athlete feet. She picked at it, more to be polite than anything, and I commented "well, at least it's free." Our server came to clear the plates, and I handed her the coupon. She came back moments later, and said she couldn't honor it. The coupon specified "must order from the wood-fired grill selections." I pointed out that both of our meals said "wood-fire grilled" next to them, and she pointed out a section of the menu labeled "our woodfire grill selections" which I didn't see before. Semantics, in my mind, but whatever. I was willing to chalk up the whole experience to their inability to create salads, but it's clear from other reviews here that they should have spent more money on their food and kitchen staff, and less on tables and chairs. To summarize: coupon not honored, terrible food and mediocre beer, and nice atmosphere and waitstaff. Nothing that you can't get better 2 miles down the road.

I like the food here but the service has been terrible every time I go here! The staff seems to be all female which isn't a problem anywhere else I go. They never seem attentive or really care about their customers. I kind of got the feeling that if I was a dude I would gave gotten much better service! I haven't been back in a few months and probably won't. I'd rather spend my money somewhere that makes me feel like they want it!

Just finished my chili. It was meaty but did not taste like chili at all. I like my chili with spice which this lacked. I have been here several times but realized that I have never had a sandwich from here before. Today I tried a sandwich. It was good. Not great. One issue is that it was smaller than I expected for the price. My daughter, who is not overly discriminating, exclaimed that the personal pizza was not that good. Overall, it's an average meal. The service was good and I did enjoy being able to watch the game while eating.

It's been a several years since we went to Old Towne, so we decided to go back and give it a try. The menu is a little less upscale than when the place first opened and it has more of a casual feel to it now. The layout is still nice and there is patio seating along with a dining area off to the side that is away from all the noise. The sashimi grade grilled tuna is a must try. I wasn't a fan of the Chinese spice rub, but you may like it. A member of our party had the prime rib. They said it was good, but the au jus was definitely food service and not made by the restaurant because it was so salty. The pomagranite martini we ordered was also very sweet. Not how we like it, but you might enjoy it. Overall Olde Towne is an ok place to go. Definitely better than most just to hang out at and have a drink. The food is average and nothing to go out of your way for. There is a movie theater next door so Olde Towne is a decent choice for dinner and drinks before seeing a movie.

Everyone has a spot where they go and can just talk. Let loose. Be free with new friends, old friends. Family members you haven't seen in quite some time laugh for hours at your jokes you've told a million times before. For me, this place is Old Towne Tavern, just minutes away from the Mall of Georgia. The food is very filling. I get an enormous belly every time I go. But folks, here's my favorite part. Are you ready? It's cheap! A great bang for your buck. And, that my friends, makes the food taste even better. Most items cost around $7 or 8 dollars but no more than $15, maybe. I see people often pay those prices at a food court with lousy choices. The menu is traditional American cuisine, and everything taste mmmm mmmm good. It has a slight sports-bar feel, with TVs everywhere with "the game" on. And the bar sits near the center of the restaurant. The waitresses.... well let's just the they may offend some women for the same reason the men will love 'em. The dress in all black, tight, fitting outfits, usually a bit too voluptuous to be a waitress. They are all women. They tend to have great attitudes and are typically very attentive. Also, it's not uncommon for the manager (a man, by the way) to come out and just check on "how things are going." Plenty of parking, in fact it's right across from the movies. So, it's the perfect situation for a dinner-and-movie kind of date. In fact, during the warm, comfortable months, sitting outside helps build some fond memories. All right, what's the only down side? This particular restaurant is far from downtown Atlanta. In fact, all of the sites are far from downtown, in Kennesaw, Marietta, and Suwanee. Also, the side salads aren't that great. In fact, not great at at all. They're bad. It can be a hit and miss with the desserts too. So, in conclusion, if you're in the Lawrenceville or Suwanee area to do some shopping at the Mall of Georgia, it's worth the trip to drive over to Olde Towne Tavern and get something good to eat.

My group of about 30 enjoyed the upstairs dining room very much. Great service and food. Private enough to enjoy our party, but overlooking the bar was fun to see what kind of action was going on downstairs. There are flat screens upstairs too.

BEST Lemon pepper wings in town! I love the wings here. Other than that they are somewhat over priced and having some sort of idenity problems. They are decorated like a 5 star place and charge as if they were such but the staff is so so depending on who you get and the menu could use some help.

When I visited Olde Towne Tavern I was very surprised how nice of a sports bar the owner created. This place had at least 20 flat panel LCD screens surrounding the bar, all on a different channel. Not to mention the 15 other HD television sets throughout the rest of the restaurant in the normal seating area. I actually asked the waitress if she liked working there and she said "Yeah, it is like an upscale Hooters." What she meant is that Olde Towne Tavern and Grille's staff is almost entirely female, which seemed to be very attractive while not looking too sleazy like another Sports bar named after an Owl's nickname. The food was pretty good also. When I go to a Sports Bar I am most likely going to order wings or a burger. Olde Towne had both, so I went with their "Jim Beam BBQ" burger, which was tasty and filling to say the least. Aside from the wait staff and bartenders at Olde Towne having a literal attractive appeal, they are pretty good at what they do. I think I had at least 3-4 different waitresses come by my table and check on me. You can't buy better attention oriented service.

Was treated here for lunch one day and was really really impressed. The restaurant was massive and completely packed during lunch. We were sat right away but it was probably the last table in the restaurant. The joint was stacked with tv's. I would love to come here on a Sunday and watch every single football game simultaneously. They also have other bar games like golden tee and the bowling. Food was great. I got a crab cake sandwich and was really surprised at its quality. Away from home crab cake dishes are always a gamble. Luckily this one was traditional and very good. I will definitely come back here. Especially on a Sunday.

Friday, Sept. 10th @12noon Went to this place today for lunch with a group of colleagues. My server was very cold and curt. Okay...I overlooked it. No worries. I ordered the Chicken BLT. When the food came and I cut my chicken in half- IT WAS STILL PINK IN THE MIDDLE. I finally flagged down the waitress (because she never circled back to see if we were okay) and asked if the sandwich could be taken back. She inquired why and I told her it's because my sandwich was undercooked. She said "Oh, that's how we make all of our chicken sandwiches. When I order chicken from here I always make sure to tell them to make my chicken 'well done'. " (Put heavy stress on the "well done" comment as if she's giving me an inside secret tip) WTF???? I told her that I have never been to a restaurant that undercooked chicken as a practice and pointed out that this was a health concern. She continued to defend the undercooked meat and then quickly snatched the plate stating "I will tell them to cook this sandwich again well done". Again...WTF? So you're going to give me the same undercooked chicken breast filet re-cooked? I was stunned and she disappeared with my plate in tow. Did my waitress just justify potential salmonella practices at the restaurant? While I sat there foodless, and my colleagues are devouring their plates, the manager came and asked if there was a problem. I told him that my chicken was still raw in the middle and to my surprise HE DEFENDED IT!!!! Manager: Is there a problem? I hear there's something wrong with your sandwich? Me: Yes, it's undercooked (showing the pink interior filet). Manager: Well, that's how we cook our chicken here. We don't want to kill the bird twice, ya know?!?! Therefore we undercook it to keep it's flavor. Me: I've never heard of a restaurant serving raw chicken....you know that's a health hazard- right? This is my first time at this restaurant, is this how you always cook it? Manager: Well like I said, we like to keep it juicy. Maybe the cook probably gave you the filet that was undercooked on the grill because they are cooking several at the same time. But again, we want to keep the flavor of the chicken. Me:(Blank stare) They brought me another sandwich (which I threw away because it's sure to give me food poisoning) and then BROUGHT ME THE BILL. You, you heard me. Never once did the young manager or the equally youthful waitress ask if there was anything they could do to help me- they both backed each other's acceptance of the undercooked meat. I will NEVER return to a restaurant that a) refuses to acknowledge and apologize for blatant wrong-doing, b) supports the stupidity of it's staff or mistakes, 3) makes excuses for health hazard practices or 4) doesn't give the customer any consideration beyond "that's the way we do it here".

Olde Towne Tavern & Grille is an okay place. Sometimes it's good food and good service, and sometimes it's not so good. I have a hard time finding something on the menu that interests me. I tend to get the same thing every time I go which is a wrap sandwich or a salad. They have a complete bar, which is a plus if you're a drinker. The few times I went there for trivia it was fun, and the wait staff didn't push us out after we finished eating. Other times I've gone there I've felt rushed and the food was cold. I would go again, but don't expect it to be perfect every time.

I always enjoy going here when visiting my sister in Suwanee. It is technically a sports bar but the extensive menu and dark wood decor give it a more upscale feel. I recently enjoyed the crab cake sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. Great portion size and tasty crab cakes with a decent amount of crab meat. Their sweet potato fries are also out of this world and one of their signature items! All of their prices are cheap for the amount and quality of the food! The bar area is also a neat concept, with one side of the bar being on the outside of the restaurant under an awning. It's a great use of space and allows you to enjoy the fresh air if you want to sit at the bar versus inside the restaurant. My only complaint is that all the hostesses and waitresses are a bit young and seem to lack personable customer service skills (which comes off as a bit snooty). They all look alike too so it's hard to remember who your waitress was. From reading Justin B's review below, who appreciated the all-female wait staff and the attention he received, it seems you have to be a dude to appreciate this factor. I just think they could be a little nicer to the females who dine there. Overall I am glad to see this place in Suwanee Station and will definitely be back!

Good soup and sandwich specials for lunch. Service at the Bar is quick and friendly. Food quality is OK, but it falls in line with the price. The atmosphere is dark and cool which is great to beat the summer heat. However, the bar area can smell of stale beer from time to time.

Great place, with that Cheers atmosphere. The bartenders are all friendly and remember names and drinks.. The best place in Suwanee for Mojito's.. Ask for Carrie she'll hook ya up. All the gals there are great and friendly. The food is good and inexpensive. Its in a kool location, if you wan to enjoy a summer night of music. Just grab a seat outside when they are playing the outdoor concerts in the park just walking distance. Plenty of parking. Only down side is when theypm. have the outdoor concerts in the park, trying to find a parking space on Friday nights is impossible unless you get there around 4:00

Wow, maybe I over-reached a bit on the menu. Ordered the prime rib and baked potato. Prime rib was awful, looked like it had been cut off a pre-cooked piece and then seared on the flat top grill. Was brown on both sides, super fatty. Obviously prime rib is not a big mover here. Baked potato tasted like it was old too. Good bartender and martini on the upside.

The first thing I noticed about the Olde Towne Tavern and Grill reviews were, ...nobody had given their input on the pizzas that this place offers. Since we (me actually) were in the mood for some good pizza, I decided to give these guys a try. We went on Saturday, the day of the 2011 Suwanee Beer Fest at City Hall Park, which this place is overlooking from their indoor / outdoor patio area. Great set-up BTW, with an "open" bar which allows all windows to slide over to create a very cool feeling of being inside, yet the feeling of sitting outside. They had a guitar player on the patio; not cheesy! ... and a great mix of people. OK... the pizza!!! We ordered the meat specialty; The Piggy Pie. We added spinach, ex-cheese, and ex-sauce. The pizza came out within a very reasonable time-frame. We did not have to worry about asking for plates, napkins, silverware, nor a fresh beer ($2 Sam Adams, Grolsch, and a few other good ones) . The waitstaff, though busy, were right on top of it. The pizza; hot and cheesy, had plenty of toppings. FYI - this is a heavy and filling pizza. It came with a garlic-butter sauce on the crust. I really liked this pie, but... I have a feeling my request for extra sauce was mistaken to mean extra garlic sauce. There was a hint of tomato sauce, which based on the type of pie we had ordered, we knew a request for extra tomato sauce would be necessary to balance the toppings. This is not the fault of OTT&G kitchen staff in my opinion, but maybe, since this was our first time here, the question of whether we were asking for extra tomato or garlic sauce should have been verified by the server. With that said, trust me when I say we ate our share with a smile. We returned today (Sunday the 24th) for drinks and a snack, and had great service from the bartender. We're heading home in a little while to reheat the remaining 2nd half of last nights pizza and watch a movie. We have even discussed coming back Wednesday night to take part in the wing-thing these guys have each week. FYI - we will most likely order pizzas from OTT&G, and we'll make sure we request extra cook time in the oven for a crispier crust, and extra TOMATO sauce! The place has a large menu (including lobster), so based on that, and our last 2 visits, I (we) would highly recommend this place. I can't give 5 STARS yet, but I have a feeling it's coming in their near future. Enjoy!

I recently visited Olde Towne and was extremely disappointed in everything! The server sat my date and I and I asked for a wine list, the server told me they didn't have one. So I asked her about their wine selection and she told me she didn't know what kinds of wine they had because she wasn't old enough to drink. I asked her to please ask the bartender, she came back and said they had a Cabernet so I settled for that. We ordered an appetizer , she didn't bring out any plates nor did we have silver wear . I got up myself and got silver wear from the bar. I ordered the chicken stir fry and asked the server if it had mushrooms in it, she replied that she didn't know. So I asked her to please leave them out of the dish if it did. When the dish came out the server told me they didn't cook it with mushrooms, which was funny considering it had mushrooms in it. We wanted to stay and relax while we enjoyed a second drink, a different wine, the first was not good at all, but we felt like we were being pushed out. As we left, the staff had locked the front doors so there were about six people waiting to try and get the doors unlocked to leave. The food was good but the experience was not. In my opinion the experience is just as important as the food.

The last time we came here was for sunday brunch. We were seated and told are server would be with us shortly. We watched another couple get seated in are section. They had a server come over took their order. They got their appetizers and began to eat. Their server walked past us several times and never said a word to us. We waited for about 20mins after that then left. If we do decide to visit again I will update my review

Great service with average food. We loved our server. She was friendly and professional. The food was good, but not spectacular. We sat at one of the high tables that surround the bar. There isn't much space for customers to walk around these tables, so people would bump us as they attempted to walk by. Most appologized, but there really wasn't anything they could do to avoid it. If management would rearrange or remove the tables, it would improve the dining experience for customers and enable servers and customers to move through the bar area without having to sqeeze through the small spaces. Just a suggestion.

Last few times I've been here hasn't exactly been great. By far the worst server they have their is Tori, horrible service, I would not recommend sitting with her, anyone else, but her. If you do sit with her, request a different server. Just trust me on this.

The wings are good but not good enough for what they're charging. The service was awful. Our waitress only came by twice to refill our drinks, and we were there for at least 2 and a half hours. Drive past them and go to Wild Wing Cafe instead.

This place sucks! Food, service, atmosphere is a ZERO. Food is horrid! The girl that delivered our food set it down and then noticed the 2 of my friends fries had fallen on my plate. She proceeded to pick up the 2 fries and place them BACK onto my friends plate. IN FRONT OF US!!! I will never come here again. Stay away!

What have I done to anyone to deserve this? It was a dreary night before the second snow storm hit, more like snowpocolypse. What did the best friend and I have planned? Lets eat like chub chub's. When you walk in- It semi-dark and a nice bar smack in the middle. My friend and I sat at a table and begin to look at the menu. There are specials everyday and the day we went there was a "buy one, get one pizza free" but We wanted wings and omg they had pasta. They had EVERYTHING! (steaks, wings, pasta, etc...) First, my coke glass was broken from the bottom. That's ratchet. I ordered wings, and the wings were not cooked. Possibly the worse wings I've ever had. Yeah, no I am not kidding. You wanna go there and try it for yourself? Be my guest. The salad, WORSE SALAD of my life. REALLY? That is restaurant 101. I was so excited to finally see "Cajun chicken pasta" on the menu. Side note- If ANYONE knows of a good place in Atlanta where I can get Cajun chicken pasta. Please TELL ME!. Gosh this place was awful, I could cook myself a meal and I don't even know how to cook. WHY AM I BEING PUNISHED! Just don't go here. The end.

My husband and I went here for burgers. We both ordered the "Black & Bleu" burger. Our waitress got our order wrong initially, so we had to wait a while for our burgers. The meat had no flavor, no seasoning, nothing. The blue cheese was not cooked into the burger, the blue cheese was on top of the burger as an afterthought. Terrible burger! We also ordered the Thai Shrimp appetizer. Worse, one of our appetizer plates had a bug on it. The waitress said "oh, sorry" without surprise, then replaced the plate with a (hopefully) clean plate. If that wasn't enough, the shrimp were not deveined!!! A word of caution, please avoid this restaurant. I will not eat here again.

Service was good and attentive by Kaitlyn. Good menu knowledge. Ordered the Tavern Dip. Food was hot but lacked flavor. Fries were hot but greasy. Wife ordered Tavern Nachos and was served a plate of crap. Chips were stale and greasy, a cooked hamburger patty was used for the taco meat. Clumps of cheese sprinkled on top and served with a side of Velveeta queso, resulting in very dry nachos. What a shame as this has so much potential being next door to a very busy movie theater. We won't be back.

After we took Grandma to a matinee of Cinderella there was a wait at the Longhorn (not exactly my idea of a great eatery in the first place, but generally reliable) across the street, so we took a chance on this place. We should have waited. Televisions are unavoidable. The menu is standard pub grub, lots of fried stuff, pizzas, semi-southwestern things. Draft beer list is completely pedestrian. Service was fine, but shortly after we ordered our food a magician showed up at our table to perform a card trick. Attached to his lapel was a piece of paper with the words "Tips Accepted" handwritten. We let him perform the fairly lame trick and were saved from having to tip him by the salads arriving. My wife and her mother had a pork chop. I went with the patty melt. My wife's sweet potato fries showed up at room temperature and she sent them back. Grandma didn't try her loaded mashed potatoes until after the server left, and her potatoes were also at room temperature. Flagged down one of the other servers to get our server back to us. New sweet potato fries were hot. The second try at loaded mashed were also at room temperature. Sigh. The fries that came with my burger were luke warm and limp; I ate three. The burger was salty, as were the pork chops. So it goes. My expectations were pretty much met.

I had the Reuben sandwich and it was tosted to perfection loaded with corned beef but could use a little more sauerkraut. The food came out quickly however I did have a slight problem with a refill but only due to the fact it was Saturday night. I would recommend this location for families events and parties

Good place over all. Went there for the superbowl. The only problem was that the service was really slow, we sat at our table for at least 15 mins before our drinks were even ordered. The food was good like the atmosphere just slow service. Probably will give this place another shot.

I love bar food, but this place did not show the love. I ordered a pasta dish that had no flavor. I sent it back. The wings were ok. My issue was the service. The waitress had an attitude as if we were bothering her. There were a total of 5 tables being used and no one seened to be in a rush. I agree with other reviewers about the long wait. My niece enjoyed her pizza, that's about it. I won't return.

I stopped going here about a six months ago. I used to go fairly regularly as I liked the food and atmosphere. Then, over time, the food went from pretty good to 'blah'. The prices seemed to go from OK to kind of expensive, especially when you're getting 'blah' food. The last time I went, I thought, "Yeah.. This is way to expensive for blah food.. I'm not coming back." I hear that the Suwannee location shutdown and now the management from over there is now at the Lawrenceville location so maybe it'll improve. At this point I'd have to see a lot of recent 5-star ratings for Olde Towne Tavern to consider going back. On the upside, if all you want is to have a drink then it's fine for that. I just wouldn't recommend the food.

The new outdoor bar coupled with good management, new staff (thanks for the great service Zoe and Illy) and crowd deserves an improved rating. Olde Towne Tavern Lawrenceville has been proactive in regards to families by opening a patio bar which allows for any rowdy behavior to be separate from the family atmosphere inside. Definitely give them a try.

We were in the Suwanee/Duluth area and were looking for a sports bar type hangout joint. I really liked the Suwanee Town Center area so we ended up here. When you walk in, you can't help but notice the dark mahogany wood decor and the bar is sectioned off, separate from the dining area. We found seats immediately at the bar. It was past dinner time so we ordered their standard nachos platter and it was better than expected. Not the best, but it served its purpose. The staff was courteous and polite though it did take them a tad bit longer to get us our refills. The restaurant was overall clean and seem to attract the locals. I couldn't help but notice the banquet area to the right, before you hit the restrooms. It seemed to be the perfect party room for bridal showers, birthday parties or corporate functions. If I'm ever in this area again, I would probably stop by since it was chill and had "plenty-o-flat screens" to keep us entertained. #Yelp 365-28/365

After having eaten here several times over the years, I have to say that last night may very well be my last. The food is always just average and as many workers as they had on duty last night, the service just sucks. We had a large party and it seemed as though they couldn't handle us. It took forever to get drinks and when we finally got our food, it was wrong. I ordered the mashed potatoes and got some type of funky cheese bread. WTH?! Not to mention... It seemed they were out of every beer. OK. Not literally, but there were several that we ordered that they just didn't have. Anyway, I was not impressed in the least. Just pitiful. What does management do here? Anything?

All I can say is WOW! I went to this place to throw back a few and from the time I walk in, It's eye candy to the left, eye candy to the right of me and eye candy as far as who my server was. It's not like Tilted Kilt, silicone valley but it was pleasurable upon the eyes. All of the eye candy that I saw today was all part of the staff. Hmmmm, very interesting. Since I'm an Equal Opportunity Employer as far as women is concerned they all had my eye. Ok, since that's out of the way, I didn't try any of the food as I've already eaten. The place is nice, upstairs for a party is available if needs be. The only downfall with me, take a lucky guess for all of you that knows what I really like. NO KENO!! It's a very nice place and I'm really a fan and will return. Maybe I can get the pic changed to what the place actually looks like instead of emblems.

If you are looking for lousy food, warm beer, and worse service then go here! Been here once before and it was maybe average. This time and it wasn't just me, the guy next to me said he wouldn't be back and it was lousy service. I ordered a simple meal. House salad no tomato with balsamic vinaigrette, black and blue burger medium with fries. Salad came with tomato (no big deal) but with their raspberry vinaigrette (horrible dressing). Had to till my burger showed up to get the correct dressing from the food runner because the bartender was to busy thinking she was all that to do anything. The burger was a BBQ burger and one side was well done and the other half Med. Finally the bartender came by 15 min later and I asked her shat kind of burger if was and she first said black and blue then looked st it. "Oh it's a BBQ burger. I'll have them make you the black and blue" I told her no I would eat it. Cut it in half and one side well the other rare. Great! Couldn't eat it and didn't want anything else as it was already 9:15 and I had been there an hour already. Aldo ordered a beer of the draft menu and she served it in a bottle do I asked and she said I must have got an old menu. Bad service , lousy food, and even worse management. I'm sure the next time I'm in town the doors will be closed.

My wife wanted to eat here so we could sit on the patio. Server never smiled once, and was rather unhappy to say the least. They ran out of the beer i ordered. One small glimmer of goodness was in the spinach artichoke dip, it was actually good (although it seemed microwaved). I ordered prime rib cooked medium, wife got some lettuce/pasta salad thing. Mine was overcooked and i got attitude from the server when i pointed that out. My wife barely touched her weird salad (they didnt make it right anyway, she asked for no cucumber and no onion yet both were put in the salad). My mash potatoes were crusty around the edges as to indicate microwaving. My mushrooms were bland as could be. No manager came to see us, but a medium prime rib was sent out . Overall a less than average experience, minimal and mediocre service, less than mediocre food. Went from a 1 star to a 2 star only because the spin dip was actually tasty. Valuable lesson of the day: NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN.

I have had there steak three times now. Not very good at all. Very stringy and tough. Stick to the salad. Service is not that great either, the service act as if their looks are enough. Dinner at 8:30. The band packed and quit at 9:00 but not a bad thing because they were. Service was terribly slow yet business was even slower. Servers were very non-existent. Food was not prepared correctly but I do give the stuffed jalapeno burger a 3.5 out of 5. Not sure how they are trying to potray themselves but it does not work. No management on site plus no customer service. It has potential given the decor, patio, etc. My suggestion...stop at what is ever on the next corner.

Well, I loved what I had! The crab cake sandwich was delish. Great flavor. So good, I wanted 2. I tried the Wood Fire Cajun Chicken Nachos. Those were really good too. Service was pretty good and I loved the look of the restaurant. Lovely atmosphere.

I have had there steak three times now. Not very good at all. Very stringy and tough. Stick to the salad. Service is not that great either, the service act as if their looks are enough. Today we got our food and no silverware. I had to almost get my own drinks. Beware of the heavy-set blonde server....

Great family restaurant. Great food! Great service. Their steaks are superb! They also have trivia night and other themed events. Real cool place!

Just had our company party here. They have a couple party rooms upstairs. We had a buffet that was great and our server Robin was spot on with service. Great food. Great carrot cake. Great mixed drinks.

The owner has Absolutely no customer service skills. We questioned the menu items after frequently going to this establishment..the waitress was very nice And tried to explain items...she offered the manager to come speak with us...he came over...no hello. How are y'all...just I heard u needed to speak to me...we asked questions about the menu he said it has Always been this way...don't know what to tell y'all...turned to walk away And said I'm not gonna argue with y'all....a row full of customers...when asked for corporate # he said I'm it...I own this. I told him he has a horrible attitude And we will never be back....Contrary to the comment....we were not loud..or rude we had a question..that was in their menu that thw owner claims is not valid...well why is it in the menu??? Take it off....also it's not about the vigorous...we just wanted an understanding...we left because he was horrible... was this a bad day...a bout of racism.... or...just an egotistical aggressive manager..owner....jury still out....long horns it is.

Terrible service. We were seated right away and.... That's it. No one showed up for 15 minutes. It was not a busy time for them either. We got tired of waiting and walked out. If you want to waste time and study their menu, with no one attending to you, then this is the place.

BEST Lemon pepper wings in town! I love the wings here. Other than that they are somewhat over priced and having some sort of idenity problems. They are decorated like a 5 star place and charge as if they were such but the staff is so so depending on who you get and the menu could use some help.

First thing I walk into the restaurant no body was there to greet or even show me to my site or even say anything to welcome a customer. They just walk by without saying anything. And food is just regular bar food nothing special.

  • Scott N.

Stay away!

    (2)
  • Jimmy C.

The end.

Best outdoor rum bar east of the Mississippi, south of the Tallulah Gorge, and north of the Florida Georgia line! The Thursday afternoon bartenders are the best, (Alicia) but the others are great too...

Just wanted to say the Bartender Lindzy is great. She was courteous and helpful. Very attentive to the needs of her customers.
