I freaking love this place. I was Scared to go to it for awhile bc I thought it was inside of a gas station. No it isnt has it own litle spot by the gas station. If you are looking for some home cooked chicken, fish or shrimp this is the place to go. I love this place. Things you need to know: They only Open Fri and Sat 4pm to 10pm They only Take Cash

I have been wanting to try this place out for a while and finally dragged my wife in a few weeks ago. The food was delicious. Very fresh. Atmosphere was fun and the service staff was very friendly, BUT there isn't much space. I think he operates this place more as a "catering base of operation" and that's why he isn't open all the time, but I recommend going when they are open. It's yummy... at greasy... and fattening!!! haha

When the original Catfish Jim's closed I literally shed a tear. Jim knows how to make great fried seafood and chicken! Now he is back serving dine in guests and togo orders Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 10pm. The menu is very limited but what they make is always delicious! If you want good fried catfish or juicy fried chicken, you can't go wrong at JimPa's They are cash only, so come prepared :)

Best hushpuppies ever! Also best boss. I worked for Catfish Jim's a long time ago and can still remember the fun times I had as a server there and listening to all of Jim's stories :P Hope you're doing well for yourself :) Miss ya!

Check out this place if you love fish. Its a small hidden store across from Wal Mart. Hmmm awesome neighborhood catfish! Tartar sauce, beans , hash-puppies and fries all sooo tasty. The past two Cobb County Food Service Inspection Scores are both 100. Props for the crew. Also Clean bathroom = Clean kitchen. I approve this message for this restaurant. Too bad they only open on the weekends. They only take cash money.

One of our favorite places. Love his fish and chicken, and the sides are special too. Consistent food, friendly help, and very good value. Don't mind paying with cash either - worth every bit of it. Call your takeout order ahead to save time.

Good ole Southern Fried! Catfish, Shrimp, Chicken, and Country Steak with tasty sides like hush-puppies, fries, slaw and their signature white beans. Catfish are available whole or fillets. The two piece dinner is a copious plenty or a 3 piece dinner would be enough for the average couple to share. Perfectly breaded and fried fillets served with french fries, hush-puppies, slaw and deliciously seasoned white beans. Honestly , the best fried fish I have had in a very long time. It appears most of their business is phone ahead take out but there are a half dozen tables with a capacity of about 24. If you don't phone ahead expect about a 20 minute wait for a delicious cooked to order Friday supper. Order at the counter and everything is packed to go but feel free to sit down in the inviting but small dining area away from the service counter. The staff is way friendly and accommodating! Tea and soft drinks only, but the beer store is right next door. I find Ice House is a nice pairing.;) This is an ole fashioned weekend fish fry only open from 4 to 10 on Friday and Saturday night.. JimPa's may become a habit. Cash and carry, no credit cards.

This place has great food!! When I went I had the fried catfish dinner. The fish was perfectly seasoned and the hush puppies was to die for. I can wait to try the fried chicken.

I don't love catfish but I thinks it's good here I do however love fried chicken and it's awesome here. The food is priced just right. Because I like fried Chicken I recommend the fried chicken!

This is a go back to time after time. Their friendly and fast for as busy as they are. Their catfish and fried chicken are about the best I've ever had. Tiny little place and totally packed when they are open. If you try it you will see why. I'd love their recipes, for every thing. I'm not a big hush puppy eater but theirs are very good. The beans are seasoned to perfection and the cole slaw too. The prices extremely reasonable for what you get and the quality of the food. Their combinations are the best deal but it is a LOT of food! I almost hate to spread the word on this one because I may have to wait longer. I was told Jim was somewhere else and closed so people I know were elated to stop in there and find out it was him. Only Friday and Saturday evening/night so usually a Friday pick up and left overs Saturday at least every other week.

We just had JimPa cater lunch at our office. Lunch was great. Staff very efficient and pleasant. Everyone enjoyed it! I would highly recommend them.

What a great experience! Everything is made fresh from the coleslaw, to the honey mustard. Upon entering, Jim introduced himself and spoke with me plainly about his business along with other things. He truly has, "the gift of gab!" I had my daughter along with me, and he went out of his way to remember her name and make her feel welcome. Even if the food hadn't been fabulous, and his retail spot crammed full of character, I'd still be loyal to that kind of service. The frog legs caught my eye from his handmade signs on the road. I ordered the frog leg dinner, which came with an ample amount of frog, fries, cold slaw, beans, and 4 hush puppies for under $8. Incredible deal!!! I'll be back to try the catfish! Heads up, it is cash only. Bravo on the fabulous food and wonderful customer service! I highly recommend!

Excellent catfish and terrific sides. Tried the fried shrimp but it was a bit over-salted. Place is a bit small, so call ahead for take out if you can.
