Great food and service! Last time we were here Steve was our server and he was exceptional! He offered specials and suggestions on the menu. Food was cooked perfectly and came out in good time. I highly recommend the Copland burger!

Awesome time at their Jazz Brunch. Several food choices and taste was delicious... I did a call ahead reservation to minimize wait time. The only small concern I had was the temperature of some of the dishes. Other than that awesome experience.

I would love to write a great review on this location but I can't. I had a wonderful experience at the location off of Cobb parkway in Vinings . They were an absolute delight! This location was a complete let down. The front of the house staff was so rude. We had a large party for my friend. I had called ahead to make sure they knew about us. The young man I spoke to on the phone was so kind and understanding. When I arrived a little earlier before our reservation with 2 of my friends to set up decor for our party they were very short with us and told us over and over again rudely that we could not sit or be served until every person was in the building. Once we were seated the service was very slow. It took around 3 hours to serve 7 of us. It was my best friends birthday and I asked if they could at least bring a dessert or say Happy Birthday but they didn't. They seemed rushed and wanted to get rid of us. I honestly won't go back to this location. The service stinks here they are so rude.

Really surprised how good the food was. Walked in not expecting much but walked out really happy and full. Seafood is what they do best so I went with the salmon that the server suggested. Got the loaded Mac & Cheese and loaded baked potato as my sides with a Sweet Water 420 all for $25. Not too bad, but do wish they gave some bread and butter while waiting for your entree. It seems like the type of place that would do that. The service was great, 4 stars for the food and 4.5 stars overall.

This place is absolutely DELICIOUS! Stopped in for lunch and was so pleased. I ordered the crab stuffed shrimp alfredo. HUGE portion sizes for a great price. Alfredo sauce was creamy and delicious. Tons of crab and shrimp. I love the Cajun twist they put on a normally traditional sauce. It doesnt hurt that it is all topped off with a homemade biscuit! They also make cheesecake in house that is delicious. I will most certainly be back.

Enjoyed the food. Ordered the shrimp Orleans. Delicious! Also had the buffalo spring rolls and loved them. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. Nice place and good service. Can't wait to go back

Great food. The weekend brunch is absolutely amazing, I have to limit it to special ovations only. The food is always fresh and the catfish is always well prepared. Great spot if you are looking for a taste of New Orleans.

I debated whether I should tell you why I chose to sit at the bar, but, ok... it was because of the really cute bartender. David. There. I said it. Now, go check him out for yourself. Perky. Spunky. Attentive. Full of great advice on the menu and a workaholic. Even though the bar only had three patrons, he kept himself busy all up and down the length of it. I had the Veal Copeland. I suggest you don't. Way too much breading and way too little veal. No tasty memory coming to mind as I write this, either. Bland. The mashed sweet potatoes were out of this world, though. If I didn't have a mustache and beard, I would have had my face in that dish licking the sides clean. I'll be back again. I miss Copeland's from Dallas after they closed down and I am willing to give them a second chance to earn me back as a loyal customer. There's plenty of other stuff on the menu besides veal, so we shall see. =)

The service isn't that great but the food most certainly is. Copeland's has the best damn cheesecake, period! Recommended entrees: shrimp creole and shrimp etoufee. Not like what you'd get in NOLA; the shrimp is SUPER small, laughably small, but the flavor in everything kinda makes up for it. The Bayou Belle is a fabulous drink, the bar is very generous. This place can be packed but still maintain its calm and collected atmosphere. I've been with family, friends and on a date, Copeland's is suitable for all three. Love it!

We ate here tonight because of the good reviews. What a mistake. My dinner seemed like it came from a Lean Cuisine box. Very bland. I had to ask for hot sauce to try and get some flavor. Someone in our party ordered the bread pudding for dessert and it was obvious that it had been microwaved to heat it up. If you love consuming large amounts of bread and don't care much about the actual food then this place is for you. Will never eat here again. Its worth the drive to bypass this place and go to Gumbeauxs in Douglasville.

So I'm giving a three because this was our first visit to Coplands as a family. We so wanted a stellar brunch experience. The kid's pricing does not quite reflect what a child would consume. We entered the facility and were shown to our table. No big time "whoo" from the service, but we were seated quickly. The offerings were just as expected from the menu, although a bit cold. For the price I would expect a LOT better of quality. Due to the point that we had gotten there before we could enjoy a mimosa, I would highly recommend coming after 12 so that you can enjoy that part of the brunch experience. All in all people I would not say an absolute no to brunch here earlier than 12, I would say come later, enjoy the jazz and see for yourself. I look forward to see what you have to say...

This location has been hit or miss. I took my family out for Christmas Eve dinner and talked up the place. Things didn't exactly turn out as good as I promised. There seemed to be more urgency to get out of there than to be attentive to the guests. I understand it is a holiday but if you doors are open then the service should be on par with normal standards. 1. Waitress: I could tell she was not thrilled about being at work. Her attitude was indifferent, except when she felt it was appropriate to explain to me why her tip should not suffer because of the problems we had with our orders. 2. Drink Orders: The first issue was that the orders never arrived and I had to ask several times over 30 minutes where they were. When they did arrive the bartender was clueless at his job as the drinks were so sweet they burned going down (this was not because of the alcohol as it was really weak). When I finally tracked the manager down after several problems and I told him about this he argued with me about it saying that was just how the drinks were (I had had the hurricane several times before on multiple visits and they were not the same). 3. Food Orders: The first thing here was that the ladies in our group were assumed they only wanted a very small serving size by the waitress so their portions were a scoop of rice and about 4-6 pieces of meat. One of their meals took an hour after everyone else had received theirs to arrive & I had to go find the manager to get it. 4. Dessert Order: When we told the waitress we wanted to add a dessert she sighed and looked annoyed. We decided to order direct from the pastry chef who turned out to be a fantastic representative for the entire place and at least left us feeling a little better. 5. Excuses: The manager told us that they were slammed so that is why there were issues. The fact is that when we arrived there was very little traffic in the place. There was at least 50% open areas if not more so if that was an issue for managing the capacity then I would question the operational ability of the leadership for that evening. The bar was completely empty so this definitely does not fly for a reason there. Overall this trip was a complete mess from start to finish. My plan was to have a big dinner & lots of drinks with the family but we cut our visit short as we were just ready to get out of there making our final bill about 100% less than it should have been. If you get the right staff in here you will have a great experience, if not then it can be bad it is a toss-up each time.

Don't waste your time ordering off their menu. High prices, small quantity, low quality. However, their Sunday brunch is worth the money. We had a bus boy clean our table off while we were just getting another plate of food so I get worried anytime we walk away. We haven't had good service either times we tried the buffet. The omelettes are so good with the cajun butter and crayfish. The guy who makes omelettes is very friendly. Their menu says there are artichokes available but it's just an old menu and they don't really have them. The French Toast is also very good. Get there before noon to skip the long wait.

We visited on our anniversary for lunch while my car was being serviced at the Subaru dealership. We were served by Andrew. May I recommend that you ask for this very attentive and knowledgeable server? He went out of his way to make our celebratory luncheon a memorable one. We ate lightly. I had just soup and salad and my husband had a shrinp and pasta bowl. The food was delightful. He also had a marguerita that was very good. We were so full from the crab bisque that there was no room for dessert but it all looked good. Thanks again, Copelands and Andrew for making our anniversary meal a memorable one.

Nice place for a date night. Try the buffalo chicken spring rolls, we get them every time we come here. My sister was recently in town and I took her here. I asked her what she thought of the spring rolls and she told me "I could probably eat these every day." Also try the cheesecake. Yum.

Had hit and miss here, recently went in with three gentlemen and 2 of us had the Al steaks and another the Po Boy on 11/29. Steaks were a bit tough and not very flavorful, at least our third party enjoyed his Po Boy. We told the waitress, but no reaction and never saw the manager there. For $88 was hoping for a bit better, do know that DO NOT go here on Thanksgiving for the buffet - was a big let down. Waitress told us wait would be 30 min at 3 pm, after 50+ min at 4 pm we just got fed up and left with party of four to go to the Pacific Buffet down the street. Not even an apology from staff or even cared a bit. Only professional person seemed to be the young kid at the Cheesecake area compared to the rest. Not a nice lesson for some one to learn as a customer.

I am happy to re-review this establishment. We recently tried it again and it was a completely different experience. The restaurant was very clean this time. The waitstaff was also friendly and attentive. I had blackened mahi mahi and I have to say it was cooked to perfection. The spices were delicately balanced and the texture was tender. Even the vegetable medley had great flavor with roasted garlic. I also tasted the crab stuffed eggplant and it was delicious too. The mixed drinks were a little sweet for my tasting, however it was easily forgettable with the great food experience. I also recommend the banana foster cheesecake with the homeade caramel sauce. Complete 360 from last time. We are now ready to try the Brunch Buffet.

I went to Copelands for their Sunday brunch. Awesome!! Everything was good. The best grits I've every had, I had to get seconds. Their french toast was awesome too. I actually preferred the breakfast menu over the lunch menu but I would definitely go back for brunch again:)

I've been to Copeland's several times and that's because I like the food. This morning we went for the Brunch Buffet and it did not disappoint. The price for the brunch is a little high but the selection is huge. Everything I ate was good but I was unable to get to everything. My favorites are probably the mac and cheese, french toast, bacon, eggs Benedict, sausage, red beans and rice, fried fish and the blue berry muffins. My wife said the prime rib was a little tough but that was the only negative I heard.

I frequent this place quite a bit. I've had breakfast, lunch and dinner here. I give the service 4.5 stars. I always sit at the bar and my guys/gals take good care of me - shouts out to Derek, Jason, Serena and Liz! I'd give the food 4 stars. It's always consistent and good. Food: The breakfast (not Sunday Brunch which I heard is awesome) is just OK. I had an omelet, which was not what I expected. I'm used to the ingredients being cooked together with the egg not laid on top of it then folded over. It wasn't bad, just not what I thought it would be. UPDATE: Brunch is AMAZING. Omelet station, hot food, cold bar, desert bar - great options and super delicious. My favorite time to come is lunch. My favorite items on the menu are available for under $10 until 4pm 7 days a week. (Ricochet Catfish, Blackened Catfish, Shrimp Po Boy, Shrimp Pasta...and even some of my regular menu faves are moderately priced if I choose to go that route. Dinner pretty much is the same as lunch - just more expensive. It's good to go during happy hour (4-7) because many of the martinis are $5 and so are some of the appetizers during the week. On Friday, they offer live jazz. I've found the artists to be hit or miss. But when it hits, it HITS. I'll continue to come back here for the great service and food.

I finally stopped by with a couple of friends after hearing so many rave reviews. The menu had quite the selection and everything looked great. There were many choices for non-meat eaters, which is a huge plus in my books right now. I ordered the crab cake and shrimp alfredo. The sauce was a little watery but tasted very creamy and was quite delectable. For an additional $5, you can "upgrade" your crab cakes to an all-crab meat version, rather than the breaded version. In hindsight, I should have upgraded! I didn't, merely because I thought it was expensive enough as it is. I didn't like the breaded version because of the filling and it was pretty salty. The saltiness was offset by the sauce, which made it okay. The biscuit that accompanied the dish was very doughy, so I didn't care for it much either. My friends ordered the roast beef po boy and one of the catfish dishes. Both complained that the food was really salty. Portion-wise, everything came in abundance. Everyone took a to-go box home. Service was good -- our waitress was friendly, joked with us a lot, was attentive, etc. Check-in on your Yelp app for a free dessert! There's no restriction as to what you can order, so choose to your heart's content! And if your server doesn't know what you're talking about, it's because this promo is new -- just launched a couple of days ago, apparently. But the manager (I think), Bill, will be more than happy to help you out. Will probably be back for lunch or brunch. Seems promising and the prices are cheaper and more my portion size.

Excellent service, wonderful ambiance and delicious food. Can be spicy though, so be aware!
Many years ago the Copeland's chain of New Orleans-style restaurants were outstanding...somehow the business model has drastically changed and you are left with a mish-mash of so-so food...the corn fritters are still good...try them with a side of cocktail sauce (sounds weird, but it truly works!)...most of the dishes are large and aimed at a robust eater. The carrot cake is actually VERY good...large piece...but, $9 is a steep price...but, maybe worth it! Our server did a decent job, but was totally exhausted from a super long shift...he tried.

Sunday brunch buffet - if you are an all-you-can-eat kind of person (you know, open up the hollow leg and stuff yourself silly), you'll like it. If you are a small-amounts-of-tasty-and-fresh-food kind of person, you'll understand why I gave it 3 stars. The place is pretty nice inside and they play jazz near the buffet. It gets kind of loud, so if you get there early enough (before the crowds - we got there at 10:30), I'd recommend asking to sit away from the band. If it's not too hot, they have a nice patio (even if it does look our onto Barrett Parkway). There's quite a variety to choose from on the buffet - I will give them that. Breakfasty-type foods like scrambled eggs, eggs Benedict, sausage, bacon, grits, made-to-order omelettes, waffles with strawberries and cream. I tried the Benedict (in a chafing dish, so it was so-so - that's the kind of thing that's just better fresh), the turkey sausage (ok), and the cheese grits (SUPER rich, but pretty good). Then they also have a lot of lunch items, as well. I enjoyed the macaroni and cheese (it was very creamy, not southern-style), the grilled chicken was ok, and they had a couple of nice salads (tossed, Caesar, tomato-cucumber, etc.). They of course have some Cajun-inspired foods, as well. I liked the red beans and rice - the beans had a rich, meaty flavor to them. My husband tried the jambalaya and enjoyed that, as well. For dessert they have a chocolate fountain, which to me is just a novelty. People are always gross with a chocolate fountain (who knows what gets touched - yuck), so I just went for the fruit plain, no chocolate. It was fresh and good - no complaints. I also tried what I'm pretty sure was a cheesecake bite, which wasn't very good because it was a little melty from sitting out for a while. It's a buffet, so you have to take it for what it's worth. They have an interesting combination and selection of foods, so everyone is bound to find something they like. For $20, though, I would much rather go someplace, order exactly what I want, have it served hot and fresh, and have some money to spare. Let's just say I'm glad someone in our party treated me to breakfast that morning and I didn't have to pay for it myself.

I Love Copelands! I tend to stick to their creole and cajun cuisine vs the American. I've had their pastas, steaks and they are OK, but the rest of the menu is why I love this place. The gumbo is great, so is the corn and crab bisque. It's the only place I have found authentic creole shrimp since leaving Cuban influenced Miami. Sunday brunch is always a treat. My favorite dish is the Catfish Acadia served with a side of their macaroni cheese. The macaroni has green onions and bacon in it... yum!

Been here many times. Always just sit at the bar with friends and order off the menu. The bar usually has live entertainment (solo acoustic act of some sort) that can be surprisingly good. The place is always clean and nice. The Sunday brunch is awesome and well worth the price! Service is generally very good as well. I suggest the small samplers they have in the dinner menu (tapa style). A hungry person will be filled on two or three of them. Never had a bad meal at this place. Pros: Great all around Cons: Expensive for a chain. I tire of paying $6 for a draft beer......sigh Price is the only reason i'm not giving 5 stars.

Crawfish bread is the way to go! Everything here is perfect, we just love love this one! We always get the crab cake and shrimp alfredo. The etouffee and soups have tasted authentic. The wood grilled chicken was awesome as well. Cheesecakes here are better than Cheesecake Factory. Can not beat the service, they are wonderful!

This is my new go-to spot on Barrett Pkwy. The service is always on point and the food and cocktails have not disappointed me yet. I would recommend this place for a date night or just hanging out with sports fans in the bar area. The big screens are always on. Their cheesecakes are very good too. I didn't realize until visiting this location that they actually come in 3 different textures (cake like, whip creamy and also traditional cheesecake).

My fiance and I eat at Copelands at least twice a month. We have been going there for about 6 years. I love the food and the servers are always so nice. When every other place has a 45 minute wait they get you in quickly. My favorite dish is the Crawfish Fettuccine. I get it about 80% of the time. Wednesday is great because all steaks are $19.99 I do however have some complaints but don't let these stop you from going. 1. Seems about every year or so they change the menu prices (for the worse) My favorite dish used to be like $11.99 then it was $12.99 then $13.99 and its like $14.99 now. Quality is still great luckily. 2. The best dessert ever was the Cheesecake Napolean. For some ridiculous reason they took it off the menu. Every server and customer I have talked to have stated it was their favorite. If that is the case what type of idiot would make the decision to remove it from the menu. Morons! 3. The dessert portion size has been cut down almost in half in the last 4 years. We used to go there just for dessert in the evenings to share a piece of the cheesecake napoleon and coffee. Now it's barely enough with each person getting their own so we stopped going at all for dessert. 4. Do not, i repeat do not order the buffalo chicken spring rolls. They taste like pure garbage!

Last night we had our company dinner here in their private room. Their private room service is just fantastic. All the servers were polite and fast serving a room of 50 or so people. My company foot the food bill, but we had to buy our own drinks. The waitress did a great job of taking everyone's drink orders and getting credit cards later on. The caesar salad was super salty and garlicky. The first half was good, but it got to be too much by the end of the salad. I snagged a 13oz ribeye for dinner that was cooked medium (as they all were for this dinner) that seemed much bigger than 13oz. Not the best steak I've ever had but much better than I expected at this place. I really like the ambiance inside this restaurant. Great lighting and architectural touches. I'm not sure it's up to "date night" standards, but I wouldn't hesitate to come here again if I wanted a decent meal. I'd have to take a look at the real prices to see if it's worth it.

I went here last Sunday and they were serving brunch, the ambiance was nice, and there was a 3 piece jazz band playing soft music. While I am on a Pescatarian diet I opted to order from the menu rather than trying the buffet. We started with the stuffed mushrooms which the menu does not tell you that they are deep fried, however I still wanted to be a trooper so I tried them and they were horrible. The manager did however take them off the bill. For my entree I order the "fresh catch of the day" which was Mahi Mahi I ordered it blackend along with red beans and rice and mashed sweet potatoes. The fish wish did not taste very fresh was extremely over cooked and had way to much blacken seasoning, the red beans and rice were average, but the sweet potatoes were great. All in all I would probably only go back here to maybe have drinks and dessert.

Visiter on Fathers Day. We were welcomed with live jazz band by the front door. There was a 1hr wait but the complimentary lemonade, sweet tea and biscuits helped ease the hunger. Oh and did I mention the band was great?? After being seated we opted for the Sunday Brunch Buffet. HOMERUN!!! Prime Rib on a buffet is any man's dream come true. The variety and quality of food was just simply amazing. I wanted to pull up a chair and sit in front of the prime Rib carving station. Fish, shrimp, chicken, pasta, red beans & rice, jambalaya, grits,French toast, waffles, omelettes, bacon, sausage, fries, mac&cheese, smoked salmon and huge dessert selection. I can't wait to visit again. Food and service is worth the drive from Birmingham alone!

I am a little biased in my review since I have only ever been on Sunday for the brunch buffet which is fabulous. The caprese and apple salads are amazing. The grits here are wonderful especially topped with the gravy that goes with them. The omelets are made to order and I highly recommend the craw-fish variety. Sweet potatoes are heavenly. Lots of fresh fruit, but I would just get more apple salad because it is that good! It can get loud and crowded quickly so try and get there around 11 to beat the masses. They have a live jazz band on Sunday brunch day and it is a nice addition.

I agree with a previous reviewer, the entrees (I had salmon and husband had catfish) were tremendously salty. I drank lots of water and only realized that by my third glass I was still sooo thirsty. I did like that they offered a healthier menu in addition to their regular menu. If I ever returned I would probably try an entree from there. The desserts were huge and tasty. Used the "Yelp check in and get freebie dessert" app on my phone. The service was great (very attentive server) and we enjoyed the live music. I just don't think I would go out of my way to return.

My co worker recommended my girlfriend and I stop here for dinner. The place was fantastic! She and I split at Chicken Parmesan and some cheese bread. Everything tasted fresh and not premanufactured in some facility. The waiter we had was great and very helpful. The cheesecake is to die for! We had the White Chocolate and Strawberry topped cheescake. This stuff rivals Cheesecake factory for sure! This is one of the best places we've ever eaten since we've moved to Marietta area. I would definitely come here again!

Pretty good. Waiter said steaks were USDA prime, exactly like Ruths Chris. NOT! Mine was ok, but it still needed A1. I prefer ribeyes but it's almost impossible to find a really good one. Order the fish here, not the steaks. I should have known better.

A few nights ago, we had our company holiday dinner here at Copelands. My company reserved their private back room for the function. I'll start by saying that service was actually quite good. Given that we had to pay for our own drinks, I was surprised that no one seemed to get the wrong bill for what they ordered. I'll also say that, despite there being a large-ish crowd, only a few mistakes in food service were made. If the food they served was any indication of what their food is generally like, I don't see a return trip in my future. To start, we all had the Ceasar salad, which tasted like nothing but salt and garlic. On top of that, the lettuce was wilted, making it look rather unappetizing. I managed to finish it (it's a wonder what hunger will do for you), but I can say that by the end, I really didn't enjoy it. For my main course, I had the ribeye steak, cooked medium. I'll start by saying that, although my steak was cooked perfectly, that was not necessarily true of all those sitting around me. My wife's steak (also a ribeye) was cooked somewhere between rare and medium rare, depending upon where in the steak you looked. The steak was seasoned well and tasted good. The accompanying sides were mashed potatoes and a roll. The mashed potatoes, like the Ceasar salad, had way too much salt and garlic. I'm not sure I get the garlic obsession -- I like it as much as the next person, but when that's all I can taste, I think the point is lost. The dinner roll, surprisingly, was the saltiest thing I ate that night, which is saying a lot. I'm not sure if it has something to do with cooking for a large group, but the chefs in the kitchen were way too heavy-handed with their use of salt and garlic. Those flavors dominated most of what I ate that night, leaving a (no pun intended) bad taste in my mouth about this place. For food that I didn't pay for, it wasn't half bad, but I wouldn't return if I were picking up the check.

Highly recommend the Copeland's sunday brunch. Many great choices. Fast, friendly staff as always. They had a great live New Orleans style small band as well. They were very good. Not to loud and annoying. You could still hear yourself think.

Love, love, love, love this place! It's actually pretty out of my way to get there, but it's worth the special trip. Wait staff is always on top of things... food is fantastic... my mouth is watering at just the thought of their Fried bowtie pasta chips with spinach and artichoke dip.... omg, it's so good. We always order one for there and one to go... Eggplant parmesan is a fave - although I recommend getting an extra cup of marinara to go with it; as it never seems to have quite enough for my taste. Excellent martini menu, too! Man, I have to go there tonight now!

Hate to do this to a Copelands, I've eaten at the other 2 in Atlanta and had fabulous experiences. However, I took my son here last night for a holiday dinner and had a pretty unpleasant experience. The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that the food is always pretty good. However, my server, 'Jaimie' really put a damper on my overall great opinion of this chain. Maybe this is me just being cheap, but I saw the signs for a free $25 gift card with $100 purchased. There was nothing saying that you couldn't use them on this visit, so I sent my son up to the host to buy one. My server comes over and says, we'll just add those to your bill, because they take 24 hours to activate. Yeah, right. But whatever, I wasn't going to have my quest to save a couple bucks ruin a dinner with my son. The Abita Amber on tap tasted watered down (usually one of my favorite on tap?!!). The food was great, no problem there, however, when it came time for dessert, I decided that we'd take home 1/2 a cheesecake from the bakery (I wanted to try out my gift cards that supposedly wouldn't be activated for 24 hours). I shared my plan with my server just to see how he'd react knowing I was about to know he just lied to me about the gift cards taking 24 hours to activate. He played it off pretty well, saying, 'oh that's just what they tell us to say'. But then, when he brings me my change, he decides to keep an extra $14 for himself (after an 18% gratuity was already on the check!). When I point this out, he plays dumb again, ooops! Disingenuous at best. Of course, the gift card works fine at the bakery, instantly activated. In short, I love Copelands food, but won't be back to the Kennesaw location.

Ordered Togo food last night. Shrimp etouffe and the bananas foster cheesecake. First off the etouffe sauce was ok but they used the smallest shrimp you could find. They were rubbery and tasteless. The cheesecake alone was delicious but once I poured the sauce on it I ruined it. The fosters w a s oily and bananas were too mushy. Prices were decent but not worth it. Maybe only for the cheesecake

Service was great! Sat at the bar and Jason was the bartender. ..great drink. ... (the prefect storm) food was hot a delicious. ...
This is my first time here. I decided to give it a try while staying on business. I sat at the bar and started off with the Maryland crab cakes that were half price during happy hour and they were really good. I ordered a ribeye for my maine course and it was pretty good too. The only complaint I have (and the reason for my 3 star rating) was with the service. There was 5 people total at the bar (including me) and it took me forever to get my drink. The bartender spent more time waiting on a blond girl sitting at the end if the bar ( who I believe was a regular) and not providing service to others. I will come back and give it and other shot but wasn't impressed with my first visit.

Today, Copeland's pulled out all the stops both in food quality and service to debut its new Saturday brunch buffet, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. From perfectly cooked turkey sausage to crispy catfish filets to bbq chicken and brioche french toast, all the delicious dishes were plentiful, hot, and fresh-tasting. Bravo to management and staff!

The food was ok. Drinks were nice. I ordered from the new seafood menu and loved the shrimp pasta dish! Our appetizers were bland though. Our waitress was horrible! We waited 15 min for our first round of drinks. I requested a wine to go with my dinner and she didn't bring it until halfway through. We finished dinner and waited 25 min for dessert!!! We ended up just ordering it to go so we could get out of there. Oh, and I had a question about an appetizer, what type of cheese was in the "special cheese sauce", she grabbed the menu from my hands after giving me a look of "what on earth are you talking about?". She did the same thing when I asked for no mushrooms with my main dish. She said mushrooms didn't come with it, grabbed the menu from my hands, and wouldn't you know - mushrooms in the dish!! For $130 bill for two people I'd expect better service.

I've only been there for the Sunday Brunch and I must sat it was awesome! It's around $22/per and mimosas are $2, but only after 12:30!!! Don't get there too early and not be able to enjoy a mimosa, like I did. But that is a state law I guess. They have cajun food, breakfast, great french toast sticks, deserts, shrimp boat, omelette station. It was definitely getting busy as soon as the doors opened. This was a great value and a nice way to spend a Sunday! :)

Went Sunday for an early dinner. I ordered the fried seafood platter. The oysters, crawfish, and crab cake were over fried and very greasy. The shrimp and fish were just ok. I ate one piece of fish and the shrimp but the rest of the food was unedible. Our waiter came by and saw that I had not eaten most of my food and asked if I would like to take it home. I said no and that was the end of it. I've had their brunch before which was good but I will stay away from the regular menu. Oh, and I payed $25.00 for that platter. Much better at Marietta Seafood.

I FINALLY got to try Copeland's famous Sunday brunch. Faaaaabulousity at its' best! Food was delish. I had mostly breakfast type items, while the gf had a variety. When we arrived, the band was on an extended break. They did- eventually- start back up, though. Floors were a little dirty- crumbs, tad bit of paper here and there. Not "bad", but noticeable. Worth a 1 star deduction. I expect more from such a nice place with good food. Our server was polite. Not friendly or enthusiastic, but polite. Anyway- the FOOD, the FOOD! The grits- oh my! Major problem is that it was SO good, now I want to go back EVERY Sunday, and the gf ain't having any parts of that. This morning it was suggested that I have a bowl of Fruity Pebbles and some toast. Copeland's isn't cheap, but it sure is worth it.

We love Copeland's!!! My husband and I came for a late afternoon lunch/early evening dinner. We sat in a booth in the bar area and Ricky was our server. We asked what was his fave drink to make, he advised the Hurricane. So we each had one and it was delicious, strong, and easy to drink!! The food was also fantastic. No complaints with anything. We'll be back for sure

Had my birthday luncheon here with my co-workers. My food was delicious and the server was super nice. I had a check in deal from some app and got a free slice of cheesecake which is always a plus! The atmosphere was really nice. I actually didn't expect it to be so busy but it was still a great place.

Great food. The weekend brunch is absolutely amazing, I have to limit it to special ovations only. The food is always fresh and the catfish is always well prepared. Great spot if you are looking for a taste of New Orleans.

Love it!

There's practically no wait time to be seated. The bread before the meal is heavenly! The staff are very nice and the food is delicious. Just love this place. No complaints whatsoever!

Everything is always good and service is great. We always get a carrot cake to go. One slice is huge and can feed two people...

This place was yummy for southern food. The portions are hearty and generous, and you will definitely go into a food coma by the time you are done! I love this place. 3 stars because the service wasn't the greatest when I was there.

Pretty good. Waiter said steaks were USDA prime, exactly like Ruths Chris. NOT! Mine was ok, but it still needed A1. I prefer ribeyes but it's almost impossible to find a really good one. Order the fish here, not the steaks. I should have known better.

That Sunday brunch buffet was pretty damn good. Great selection of breakfast and lunch items, but wish they had gumbo. Beans and rice were great. As was the fish.

(5)Chris S.

Love it!
(4)Jeff B.

Whatever you do, DO NOT order the jambalaya! It RUINED the interior of my car!

(5)Tashana T.
I went to Copelands for their Sunday brunch. Awesome!! Everything was good. The best grits I've every had, I had to get seconds. Their french toast was awesome too. I actually preferred the breakfast menu over the lunch menu but I would definitely go back for brunch again:)
(5)Ibrahim A.
There's practically no wait time to be seated. The bread before the meal is heavenly! The staff are very nice and the food is delicious. Just love this place. No complaints whatsoever!
(5)Erik M.
(4)Kischa J.

In Atlanta on a business trip and stopped in on recommendation of a trainer. Nice and relaxed atmosphere when we walked in. Crawfish Étouffée was fantastic and way exceeded my expectations. A delicious and rich Cajun flavor that was full of flavor. Topped off the meal with the creole style cheesecake w/raspberry topping. Good, but the entree was definitely the star tonight. Ask for Latasha, she have us great and friendly service! We came back for lunch the next day and I tried the jambalaya. Wow was it good! Our host explained that this could be upgraded and served over crawfish rice and that makes it even better. A steak just passed by our table and it smells incredible. Copeland's will definitely be a must every time I'm in Atlanta.

The macaroni has green onions and bacon in it... yum!

Everything is always good and service is great. We always get a carrot cake to go. One slice is huge and can feed two people...
(5)Sara K.
This place was yummy for southern food. The portions are hearty and generous, and you will definitely go into a food coma by the time you are done! I love this place. 3 stars because the service wasn't the greatest when I was there.
(3)Matt M.
They have the best brunch in town so far. Try them at least once and you won't be sorry. They have a great dinner menu along with awesome drinks.
(5)Tonya M.

(4)Claire J.

(5)Joe T.
Pretty good. Waiter said steaks were USDA prime, exactly like Ruths Chris. NOT! Mine was ok, but it still needed A1. I prefer ribeyes but it's almost impossible to find a really good one. Order the fish here, not the steaks. I should have known better.
(3)Davis M.
The Steak Labouchere tasting plate is to die for!!!
(4)Dan P.
Food was ok, the atmosphere is nice. Waiters sometimes knowledgeable. Better choices available in the area for New Orleans style food.
(2)Seuqram G.
That Sunday brunch buffet was pretty damn good. Great selection of breakfast and lunch items, but wish they had gumbo. Beans and rice were great. As was the fish.

Had lunch here today. Bad service, slow service, and overpriced for what you get! I think my first time here will be my last!

Highly recommend the Copeland's sunday brunch. Many great choices. Fast, friendly staff as always. They had a great live New Orleans style small band as well. They were very good. Not to loud and annoying. You could still hear yourself think.
(4)Whitney T.
Great food and wonderful service. Very reasonable prices and if you are a coupon queen like myself, you can always find great coupons for Copelands. I have no complaints. Highly recommended!
(5)Ingrid M.

For someone who has food allergies they were knowledgable and careful to make sure my food was just right. Amazing service!
(5)Raymond M.

Sat at the bar and Jason was the bartender. ..great drink. ... (the prefect storm) food was hot a delicious. ...

For this suburbia, Copeland's is a welcome step up from most of the areas fast food chains & kid friendly restaurants. The well & dimly lit dining area is romantic. Bar area offers booth seating & is great also, but has more of a lunch feel because of the tv's. Service has always been good. I've eaten here at least a dozen times. ****To Try: Appetizer - Tiger Shrimp Entree- Filet mignon, medium rare baked sweet potato, veggie, house salad. Dessert - Neopolitan cheesecake soaked with a shot of dark rum to go! Mmmmm! Plenty to take home for a midnight snack- just prolonging the experience & keeping you satisfied while yelping about their awesomeness! Bon Appétit!

(4)Melissa M.

I've eaten here before. This is a great place for family and friends to gather together. I always get the spring rolls

(4)Ralph C.

(5)LaToya D.
Had my birthday luncheon here with my co-workers. My food was delicious and the server was super nice. I had a check in deal from some app and got a free slice of cheesecake which is always a plus! The atmosphere was really nice. I actually didn't expect it to be so busy but it was still a great place.

Enjoyed the food. Ordered the shrimp Orleans. Delicious! Also had the buffalo spring rolls and loved them. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. Nice place and good service. Can't wait to go back

(5)Daryl S.
Great food. The weekend brunch is absolutely amazing, I have to limit it to special ovations only. The food is always fresh and the catfish is always well prepared. Great spot if you are looking for a taste of New Orleans.

Whatever you do, DO NOT order the jambalaya! It RUINED the interior of my car!

I've eaten here before. This is a great place for family and friends to gather together. I always get the spring rolls

They have the best brunch in town so far. Try them at least once and you won't be sorry. They have a great dinner menu along with awesome drinks.

Love it!

(5)Ibrahim A.
There's practically no wait time to be seated. The bread before the meal is heavenly! The staff are very nice and the food is delicious. Just love this place. No complaints whatsoever!
(5)Captain B.
(2)K. K.
(5)Caroline M.
Excellent service, wonderful ambiance and delicious food. Can be spicy though, so be aware!

The macaroni has green onions and bacon in it... yum!
(5)Michael B.

(4)Tonya M.

(5)Rebekah K.
(4)Claire J.

(5)Ingrid M.

(2)Terry C.
Had lunch here today. Bad service, slow service, and overpriced for what you get! I think my first time here will be my last!
(1)Brodie B.
