I love their mission, breads, muffins, cinnamon rolls, bars, dips and soups. This place has a very friendly owner. I go to this place a couple times a week and recommend their products to people because of the healthy ingredients they use. I do appreciate that aspect. And they donate their leftovers to a charity food shelter every night, I heard. It's places like that I like to support. Thank you Ray, for your reply and customer service and quality ingredients. I appreciate it.

Love this place. There just isn't anything at this place that is not good. Love the quality of their breads and how awesomely fresh everything is. These people make bread a health food again!

My gosh!!! This place is great! I went there for lunch. We got there early. ..like 11:45...before the crowd...you are first greeted with a tray of samples of their sweets...then they offer you complimentary bread...and not just any regular bread. Like bread with embedded white chocolate...and herb crusted... I got the chicken salad sandwich on focaccia bread...heated with provolone cheese. It was great. My coworkers all enjoyed their meals as well. Wound up purchasing a cranberry crumble that was absolutely fantastic. All in all I definitely suggest coming here...great service great food.

Food is good, $$/4, Quick and friendly service. Homey Decor. Good sandwiches. Smells great in there and bought some bakery items as well. Little bit expensive for what it. Great for lunches and ordering catering. Had a coupon. Had their bacon turkey avocado sandwich it was delicious. Just a little too far to go regularly Would definitely recommend and would probably go back if I'm in the area

You'll find the best bread on the planet here. They don't bake cakes or cupcakes or anything of the sort, but their bread is all natural, wholesome, tasty, and just plain delicious. You won't find the taste or quality anywhere else. You're greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable staff, eagerly offering a sample of the day's fresh bake. Take advantage of the bread and spread samples and you'll get a good taste of the wide variety GHBC offers. But don't stop there. The fresh made sandwiches can't be beat. I'm partial to the Tuscan Chicken. Quick service, reasonable prices, and top-notch product keeps me coming back. This is as close to home-baked as you can get without firing up your oven. Don't leave without taking a loaf or two home for later consumption. Put GHBC on your regular rotation and you won't be disappointed. Fresh. Hearty. Natural. Flavorful. 'Nuff said.

My friend recommended this place to me and we went there for lunch one day. When you walk in, immediately you get a whiff of the fresh bread they're baking. When I went up to order, the lady at the front was very helpful because it was my first time there, she helped me get exactly what I needed, because when you order a sandwich, you have to pick from their selection of bread. I ended up getting a blt on their seeded honey wheat bread. After you order, you also get a complimentary slice of any of the fresh bread they have, so I got a slice of their cinnamon bread. Both the sandwich and the cinnamon bread were absolutely heaven. The breads were soft and chewy and tasted fresh. I highly recommend this place if you want a sandwich or if you don't mind loading up on some delicious carbs. Will definitely be coming back soon.

Delicious gluten free bread! Sandwiches can be made with it. Also a different sweet gluten free option every month.

Screw Atkins, give me that free slice of white cinnamon swirl! My generosity with five stars and GHBC's generosity with free slices are polar opposites. I may be the first critic that does have a statue made of him, but I can't find fault with this place . When you walk in there is no mistaking you are in a bakery, and just the smell is 26g of carbs. Beautiful, fresh loaves are waiting right at the counter to be taken home. They immediately offer a free slice to try and a selection of spreads to try as well. Sandwiches and salads run around $7 and can be eaten in the large dining area or outside. I am as stingy with my lunch money as I am with my fifth stars, but when the bread is made that day, I really can't object. On the sweet side are cookies, scones, brownies and more. Other quality touches are offering San Pellagrino, Perrier, Martinelli's and Illy's Coffee. Customer service is excellent with the owner at the helm making it happen. Carbs be damned! I'll work out twice tomorrow!

Amazing. I love this place! it is really close by so I stop here sometimes on the way to school for a quick breakfast. their breakfast sandwich is divine and to die for!! It is really simple but tastes so good and I've tried but cannot mimick it at home. All their breads and sweets are freshly baked everyday and I never feel (too) guilty after eating them. I love their oil sauces and their savannah bar. The only place around Johns Creek that you can get good, fresh, handmade bread. It is a bit overpriced but worth it.

I went here today for the first time. Since I am a bread lover I had to check it out for myself. I went in to find a nice selection of breads (all of which i could try a slice) but, i felt rushed in deciding what i wanted and the way everything was written on the board I felt overwhelmed. I got a loaf of the sprouted whole wheat bread but for $7!! I sucked it up and paid the expensive price to decide if it was worth it or not. I usually buy my fresh breads from whole foods (which is right around the corner from this place) and their sprouted wheat bread is at least organic and under $5. I think from now on I will just go to WFM to buy my bread but the other "non bread" items looked good, I tried the Savannah bar and it was excellent and much cheaper ;-) I will give it one more try but I hope not all the breads are as expensive next time.

Met a friend for lunch here and I was totally surprised in a good way. We had a lot of catching up to do and sat at a small table inside since it was raining outside. It's a little tight in there, but we managed to hang out for a good two hours. So, with the small seating quarters inside, I'd suggest this may be more of a takeaway joint. I love'd trying SLICES of bread that I'd never had. I mean, seriously. They gave us SLICES. Not nibbles. Not corners. Not crouton-sized bites. A whole slice. I also loved the bulletin board on the wall littered with children's cards thanking Great Harvest for a wonderful field trip. Judging by the pictures, Great Harvest hosted a tour of the facility and a bread baking workshop for the little ones. Very cool. For lunch, I had turkey on whole grain wheat. The bread was sinfully good. Oh man. I can't even describe the robust flavor, and the resolution of firm into doughy goodness on the inside of my mouth. Bliss. There's just nothing like fresh-baked bread that melts in your mouth.

Truthfully, I've never stepped inside here! Lol ...but - my mom has picked up bread from here a few times and each time, I've enjoyed the treats. I'm not sure what the breads are called except for the monkey bread, which is probably the best monkey bread I've ever had. Also, the cheese bread is yummmm... and there's this special bread they make on Fridays that kind of looks like knotted bread - delicious as well. Usually I'm a huge fan of muffins, but their muffins are very "healthy"-tasting - like, each bite is a lot to chew through because of all the grains. In general, many of their breads are meant for healthy eating, so if you've got a super sweet tooth and are accustomed to eating plain ol' supermarket bread, you're not going to enjoy this place. Oh, and for you coffee lovers, I'm not a coffee drinker but my parents tell me their coffee is a definite no-go - apparently it has a weird sour taste to it. Go to some other local coffee shop! You know, I should stop by here everyday since it's on the way to work!

I love great harvest! I try to always get my weekly sandwich bread here for the house. I usually get their honey white bread or French bread for sandwiches and toast at home. Since their bread is made daily, their bread definitely lasts a good week in the fridge, compared to grocery store bread. I always love their samples and spreads as well as the free pieces of pastries they have when you walk in. I love their chicken salad sandwich on Chalah and the monthly special- the Baja turkey sandwich. They give you a good portion of meat on the sandwich and it's pretty tasty. The workers are always friendly and helpful. The bread is pricy but I think it's worth it.

I love that they have plenty of samples available, and all of the sweet samples I've tried have been delicious. They are moist and not overly sweet. This is a great place to go if you want a nice, sweet afternoon or morning pick me up.

CLIMBING THE STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN, (HUH?) Why the stairway? Cause they stepped it waaaay up!!!. My previous afternoon visit was not good at all. Customer service was lacking and there was no bread to sample or see. Today we went in before noon and it was like walking into totally different store. There was bread just raining down on us during the Vegas bread show. As soon as I passed the door, I grab a sample from the three-tiered server and wow that bread pudding is lethal. It is thick, rich satisfying and eats like a meal. This is that naughty bite that you want to have around for the holidays or want to celebrate something special. There is no way you can have this on a daily basis, it is so good that it has to be EARNED! Just incredible. There was so much going on that I was just all over the place trying to take it all in. My husband had a front seat to the "bread show" where they were bringING out the hot bread and giving full sized samples, which are really full servings. We sampled a hearty fiberlicious grainy bread, a cinnamon bread and a honey wheat bread. They were all delicious and if you wanted sweet or savory toppings, you could have added those as well. We actually purchased the honey wheat bread for its flexibility and a large cinnamon roll to share. All of the individual bakery items are sharable because they are huge, (in my opinion). I appreciated that the cinnamon roll was unglazed (just in case), and that I was able to take a container home with me to glaze as I desired. Of all the items in this BAKERY, my daughter's fiance decides to get the trail mix. What? He is so not getting my daughter! Anyway, what ever you do, please do not eat breakfast or anything for that matter prior to visiting this bakery. You will seriously regret it. I literally decided to wait two hours before resuming my day so that I could recover from all of that sampling! It was crazy good! On a side note, the bakery also gives tours and it was playing host to some young girls who looked like they were on a field trip and having a good time. Good to know as this would be a perfect activity for young kids or a ladies' meet up group. AWESOME SAUCE!!

I've lived within 3 miles of this establishment for almost 3 years and never stopped by. Wasn't quite sure what it was. Glad I finally did. Fresh baked breads of all kinds of flavors, breakfast sandwiches, muffins. Everything is fresh and absolutely delicious. Perfect for bringing young children.

This place is amazing. Generous samples each and every time you visit. Delicious bread. Delicious biscuits, bars, muffins, & scones. And they serve illy coffee. So freaking good! I come here at least once a week to grab a loaf of challah on Friday or pick up a biscuit & coffee for breakfast. Staff is super nice, too. I echo the comment of another reviewer who said that it has a small town feel despite being a chain. This place is worth visiting if you enjoy baked goods!

My Sis in law took me here when I was visiting the area during this past Halloween. She compared this place to a fancy Panera. This place is not like Panera. It has a local bakery feel but with a twist of uniqueness. One of their best features if that they offers samples of their breads and spreads. Everything I tasted was fresh and delicious. They offer an array of breads from whole grains to gluten free. I purchased a sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Being from New Jersey, I know that the bread makes or breaks the entire sandwich and Great Harvest delivered! It also has a very local neighborhoody feel although its a chain. There is even a spot for young children to keep busy.

I must say, I was pretty disappointed by my experience this morning. I travel to work from Smyrna every morning, and I usually have about 40 minutes to kill before work begins after my commute. I was in the mood for a breakfast sandwich and decided to try Great Harvest since I had been to the Chattanooga location and loved it. I walked in at about 7:20 and I was greeted by the staff, they were very friendly and personable. The woman behind the counter explained the breakfast options, the menu was very confusing and there were three different signs none of them obviously mentioning breakfast to a customer entering the cafe for the first time, it was pretty overwhelming to the eye. It was not busy, I was the only customer at the counter and there was a couple sitting down at a table in the dining area with their coffee and food already on the table. The woman behind the counter suggested the egg sandwich, I chose to have veggies, sharp cheddar cheese on seeded bread. I was starving so it sounded perfect. After I ordered my sandwich, and I was waiting for it to be made, I looked around at everything else they had: Frozen bread, dog treats, scones, cookies, fresh bread, I asked about bringing something to my co workers at the office. I wanted to bring a couple dozen scones, but the woman behind the counter said they were too big and I should only bring 4 scones, I explained it was for 35 people, she almost ignored me and then mentioned 3 other options, even though I was interested in the scones, and then she walked off to do something else and when she came back she still insisted that I only order 4 scones instead of 2 dozen because it would be cheaper, even though I never expressed concern for the price of anything. She offered me a sample of the zucchini bread, and it was delicious, so I decided to get a loaf to bring home, and gave up on trying to buy scones. I was still waiting for my sandwich and there were at least 10 employees diligently cleaning and getting fresh bread prepped, but my sandwich was not ready after 20 minutes of waiting. I finally asked someone if it was close to being ready, and they said that the woman behind the counter never brought the order back to be made. So I was sitting around waiting for nothing and I was soooo hungry. I realized that I did not have time to wait for the sandwich to be made and asked for a refund. The same woman came back up to the register and had a difficult time figuring out how to issue a refund, and just gave me cash instead of putting it back on my card. I did not walk out until 7:50ish and even though I thought I had enough time, I was late to work with no sandwich for breakfast. My boss is incredibly strict with tardiness, and I was docked one of my 3 allowed late days off of my previously perfect attendance record. What should have been a relaxing, tasty breakfast, turned into a 30 minute wait for nothing, rushed, hectic, and very cranky morning. Unacceptable. The woman at the front counter was very nice and helpful, but seemed pretty aloof and easily distracted. If they were busy I would sort of understand, but I was the only customer at the front ordering food. I'll be back for zucchini bread maybe on my way home from work, but never again when I want breakfast for myself or my team.

You know it's good when your first visit was so good you go the next day. I love that everything is all natural. I can taste and fee the difference. Wish all restaurants were natural but sadly everything is so full of chemicals. The service was exceptional and felt very welcoming. Thanks Great harvest.

Such a wonderful sandwich place. Great variety & everything is fresh and made in-store. Friendly service and locally owned. We also buy our weekly bread here most of the time. Their spreads are delicious and you can taste a variety of them while you are there (for free). I enjoy the Tuscan and Pesto ones Also this place sells gift baskets that are appropriate for basically any occasion. My family has both given and gotten these & they are always a hit.

Recently stumbled upon this bakery/sandwich place. Love their free bread samples they offer while you wait for your order. I usually get the Mediterranean sandwich, so delicious!

Their bread is hard to beat if you like the big whole grains. There service/help is always friendly, even if a bit hurried with a line. But, on the latest visit, the usually yummy cinnamon roll was under cooked-gooey in the dough. The cinn scone has always been top notch with it's delicious cinn chips.

I was running late one morning thanks to my phone alarm "not working". I was in a hurry one morning and figured I would hit up Great Harvest to grab a bite on my way into work. I had no idea if they sold breakfast sandwiches or not, and thought that the place fell in line with a Panera sort of place. As I walked in, I looked at the chalkboard above showing all of the breads they have for the day. Each bread was labeled in a different chalk color, font, and sizes. My brain couldn't wrap itself around the list. No breakfast food to be found. The woman behind the counter asked if she could help, and I asked if they had breakfast sandwiches. She said, "Yes. What would you like?" My initial thought was, "what do you have?", considering there was nothing on the walls giving me an idea of what my options were. If I wasn't still groggy, I probably would have been a smart ass and said: "Well, since I don't know what the hell you have back in the kitchen, I suppose my perfect meal right now would be a Gummi-Worm Benedict atop a bed of Cool Ranch Doritos." "Bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich?" I asked tepidly in the hopes they had at least a few of those ingredients. "What kind of bread?" "Whole wheat" "We don't have whole wheat right now. All we have is potato bread." Hmm. First, I believe your company's name is Great Harvest Bread Company, thus making me think that you're people should have spent the morning harvesting potatoes AND wheat, especially considering wheat was listed on the multi-color, diabetes-inducing chalkboard. Second, and most importantly, if potato was the only bread you had, then why the fuck did you ask me what I wanted. Again, what I really wanted was gummi benedict, but it probably wasn't on the menu either. The sandwich was wrapped and handed to me. It wasn't in the least bit impressive, mostly because the bread wasn't anything near what I was expecting. When I go somewhere that actually uses the word bread in their brand, I kind of figure it will save the day in a pinch. I have friends that swear by this place, but until they can prove to me that it's worth going back, I'll pass.

I can only speak to the counter service - I didn't stop in for a meal, just for bread. I was immediately impressed by the customer service.. and offer of free delicious bread products. This was a dangerous place for me to go after a gym visit! I was quite suprised at how busy this place was at 10 am on a Friday. People ordering sandwiches, getting loaves of bread, browsing the shelves. I can only imagine what a cluster---- Great Harvest is during the lunch rush. The staff seems to manage the chaos very well. I ordered a loaf of their Living Lite Crunch and a Savannah bar to go. Both were swoon-worthy. So yummy. So happy to be eating something that doesn't have a grocery list of ingredients. Why only 4 stars? I wish a loaf of bread didn't set me back over $8. Ouch. I'd be more inclined to stop into Great Harvest more if I could justify the purchase, but in my house, I don't hold the purse strings. Still, I will return. It just won't be after a workout so I can just say no to that Savannah bar!

Oh lordy. BREAD HEAVEN! That's what this place should be called. I cannot see how this place could get any better unless the solution is fixing whatever made me feel confused, overwhelmed and excited all at the same time today when I walked in. I totally thought I was walking into a soup, bread-bowl, salad + sammich type place. Nope. I mean, they have that stuff (not sure about the bread bowl, honestly,) but it's so much more than that. Chloe at the register offered to help me, and I said, I'm overwhelmed, I have no idea what I'm doing! She said, OH, well let me tell you about things. She let me try the Apple Scrapple (I am not sure if that's the real second word of the name, but say it and I'm sure you'll get the right thing, because it sounds like that.) It's like the most delicious bread with apples and apple-crisp-type crunchies. The bread is so fluffy, but perfectly in the middle of the spectrum between airy/dry and dense/thick/heavy. The bread is made fresh every day. EVERY DAY. FRESH. Chloe also told me about the spreads they have out on the counter.. many of which are made in house. I ended up buying the apple thingy, and a sourdough loaf. I then sat down in their dining area to eat my slice and charge my phone. I looked around and started reading information that seemed to all be talking about honey whole wheat and how healthy and natural it is. It's also supposedly good for heart health and those with Type 2 Diabetes. So, I went back up to the counter, and asked them if they would mind swapping out my sourdough for a Whole Wheat. Labeled a best seller, the WW is about 1.30 less than Sourdough, so they would have owed me that change. I told them I don't even care about the difference, I just didn't want to bring 3 loaves home, because I would not be able to finish it all in time (before it goes bad), plus I saw how healthy the WW is supposed to be. A woman who I'd assume is the owner, or GM, came over to help Chloe with this process. She told me she's a registered dietician and gave me some fast facts about how sourdough is still pretty good for you. I told her I have high triglycerides and cholesterol. She said, oh yes, you'll do well with the WW but you also may want to up your fiber too, and she showed me another type of bread with seeds that has extra good stuff. Then she said for the difference, she was going to give me a muffin.. I thought that was very nice of her. I picked a banana nut muffin - Delicious. I will DEF.IN.IT.LEE be back here.. or at least to the other location which is in Alpharetta. I do wish there was one in Dunwoody, and I wouldn't be surprised to see one pop up. Totally worth checking out this place. Bread is great, service is great, idea is great. Enjoy!

My absolute favorite lunch spot. I'm not much for carbs, but I make an exception for this place. They give such generous samples, but it's still hard to decide on a bread choice. So fresh, so delicious, and the nicest people!!!

Sorry, the first couple of times I came here I would've given it 5 stars hands down. However, some of the employees are just plain rude. Their bread, I have to admit, is the best and most unique that I've tried, so 2 stars for that. They take a while for the sandwiches, so don't come if you want a quick meal to go. The atmosphere is livelier on some days more than others. It's usually busiest around lunch time. I'll return for the bread (and other goodies), but I hope to see an improvement in customer service.

This place has been around for a long time, and they're always busy. Surprisingly for being so busy, they were very quick to get orders out. They had a lot of staff working and everyone was accommodating and patient. We ordered a roast beef sandwich with an oatmeal cookie--side note, they mill all their flour on site--both of which were amazing. We had also asked for a soup, but they forgot to put it on our order. I would have asked for them to make it for us, but they didn't charge us on receipt and I didn't want to wait for them to make it. Their ice coffee is very good too. I drink my coffee black, and some places have really sour coffee which is a turn off. All in all it was a good experience.

Find fresh and delicious bread in flavors you rarely see here. The breads are moist and taste just like what they are named. I love the free bread samples here - they always have variety and you can ask to sample something before buying it. If you like bread, you'll love this place. This place is more of a splurge spot for me. The prices keep me from coming back as often as I would like. Great customer service; the employees are super friendly and willing to ask any questions. The store itself is medium sized and cutely decorated with a warm feel. There is plenty of parking since they share a lot with other stores in the plaza.

I was in the area taking my defensive driving course and saw this place across the way. I was dying for a sandwich and this is a very cool spot. The one thing I loved the most as that when I walked in...they offered me a FREE slice of bread to sample. Free = I already like your business. I picked up a chicken salad sandwich. The bread was very fresh...the chicken was delicious...it was just what I needed. Many people were coming into the place just to get a loaf of bread. I will pass by the next time I'm in the area for seconds.

I'm upping my rating to a 5 after so many great experiences at Great Harvest in Johns Creek. I absolutely love this place. The staff is super friendly, although I can't figure out how they don't all weigh 500 pounds after working around such deliciousness! I'm still in love with the grilled chicken salad and the Living Lite bread, but I've also tried a few other things that have been equally amazing - the runners high bars (I think that's what they're called?), the chicken salad sandwich and every single bread I've sampled have all been great. I'm so glad they're open on Saturdays so I can come back for the best salad ever when I'm in town.

Love this location and their product. Our favorite is the Living Lite bread. It's worth the drive from Alpharetta - hoping the new location will be as good as this location.

I would love to give 5 stars on the bread alone. And give the sandwiches 3 stars. The bread and spreads are out of this world good! The sandwiches are overpriced for what you get. Still tasty, but not eating lunch here again.

Seriously? I think have die and gone to bread heaven. To all carbs lovers The Great Harvest Bread Company will be your new home. I love this place because I am never surprise or disappointed with my purchase and the reason is they offer a free slice(s) of any type of bread that is in the store. The staffs are very friendly and extremely helpful when it come to finding you the right loaf. It is a chain bread company and is individually owned so each local bakeries will have their own specialty line of product. One thing that is the same in every bakery is the pure and simple ingredients that is in every loaf of bread. They offers about 5 different type of bread/cake/cookies which changes daily but along with the speciality of the day they also offer the stable breads such as: honey whole wheat, honey white, dinner rolls, Ciabatta, lunch Calzones and cinnamon swirl(wheat or white). Other than bread they also offer muffins, scones, bars, breakfast and lunch items. Most of their sweet indulgences are made with wholegrain that is grown locally so not only you stay full longer because whole grain digest slower than "white carbs" you also helping local farmers. Must try: Cherry Apple Streusel Tea Cake Bread Pudding Challah- a Jewish tradition with basic ingredients, this bread is perfect for making french toast Honey Whole Wheat Sourdough French Baguette- crispy from the outside and soft from the inside....you'll think that you're in Paris....I often slice old french baguette and pop it in the oven to make croistini. Dinner rolls Specials: 1) Free slices of bread every visit 2) Free Honey Whole Wheat Dinner rolls with a purchase of package of gourmet soup 3) Get a punch card, 6 punches for free cookie or fill up your punch card for a free loaf of bread of your choice So come in for a free slice of bread and agree with me that this place is AWESOME! Enjoy :)

If you like carbs, this is the place to be. Breads are very fresh and the selection was a nice mix of sweet and savory. I was going through one of my vegetarian phases so I tried the Groovy grilled cheese and it was "ridiculously, I'm still dreaming of it and trying to replicate it at home" good. The variety of flavors in that sandwich are just amazing when combined. My husband had the turkey and he thought it was okay. So if my sandwich was so good, why only 3 stars? Well, the store was really cramped and it took a while to get our food. Also, the price of the sandwich doesn't include any sides, which is a pet peeve of mine at a sandwich place. Even with those little annoyances, this is a good place to try.

The smell of this place alone would keep me coming back. I wish I lived closer. Amazing food and great coffee...what else could you want for lunch. I arrived at 12:00 and I was pretty much the only person there. I was very excited for the Illy coffee and got myself a cup as I waited for my lunch companion. I was able to peruse the lengthy bread menu. It looked pretty amazing and I plan on heading back for a loaf.

Talk about the best bread in town, I could give you the ingredients and menu by heart! I've been chowing on this bread for 7 years and just keep going back for more. It's preservative free and stays on the counter for up to 7 days (not that it ever lasts 7 days!), so I ask, why do you need the preservatives if it stays fresh without them? I love that I can pronounce AND know what every ingredient is! The Berry Christmas Swirl is amazing and one of our favorites, but only sold for Christmas in July and in December. Cinnamon swirl is also delicious and a regular bread. But, it's our every day sandwich bread that is out of this world and nothing in main stream grocery stores can touch it...Living Lite Crunch. It's a low carb bread that tastes like regular bread. It's moist and crunchy and awesome toasted or in a sandwich or panini. It's only 80 calories (and tastes hearty like 120 calorie bread)! They have a Living Lite as well that's only 60 calories, but I love the crunch! Can't eat a whole loaf (shame on you), you can freeze it and it tastes as fresh as when you bought it. I try not to go into the store TOO often (they already know my name, shoe size, and perfume I'm there so much...), so I buy a couple loaves at a time and freeze them. The sandwiches are the best traditional (in a unique way) lunch sandwiches I've found in Alpharetta. To me it makes the other chain lunch places taste like dried out leather. Finally, I know some reviewers said it's pricey and it is, but if I'm going to consume the calories, I want to make it worth every morsel! (Plus, if you keep going back you get a free cookie after 6 loaves--- which is the size of 3 cookies, and a free loaf after 12, so basically you're getting almost a $1 off each loaf if you keep returning and returning and returning...)!

I frequent here since it's so close to my work. I love the smell of freshly baked goods. As soon as you walk in, there is a sample table where they have either breads or cookies to try. You can walk up to the counters to see the latest breads and try as many as you like. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. There aren't too many tables to eat in. FOOD: I usually order the tuna on honey wheat bread, which is my favorite. The honey wheat bread give the tuna a little sweetness. I also get a dillon cookie as well. Their cookies are large enough, it may take you a while to eat it.

I've never been to this store but I work in a doctor's office and our patients give us gifts from here throughout the year. The bread here is OMG so good!! It's always super moist and super delicious! I've tried the cinnamon swirl, pumpkin chocolate chip tea cake, and honey whole wheat just to name a few and they all have been delicious. I definitely recommend trying this place out if you're in the area!

They have lots of selection of breads with different selections each day. They were very generous with the samples. Although it was a bit stressful trying to figure out which breads to buy with the staff waiting on you. I ended up buying a loaf of honey wheat bread for $5. It was quite dense and definitely best on day one. I think I am going to have to pass on the honey wheat bread next time and try something else.

You know what? I'm dishing out 5 stars for this one. And yes, I will take a free slice of bread thank you...forget the carb counting, how can I resist the ever-changing, plethora of fresh-baked goodness that is Great Harvest Bread Co? The answer: I simply can't! Ok, so I grew up in a small town where we really didn't have places like this--yes, we had access to bread, but you know what i mean. And now that I've transformed into a city girl (alright, thats a stretch)...how about, now that my suburbanness has expanded to the greater ATL region, I so appreciate the availability of a place like this--where I can pop in for a sweet treat, a delicious sammy for lunch or even arrange to have one of their specialty breads sent back to the fam in SC as a gift. And with a menu that changes daily (and that rotates from month to month--with seasonal specialties) my taste buds are never bored. True, I am a smidge embarrassed that some of the staff now probably know me by name because of how frequently I stop in, but I must put that aside and share with you some of my favs (ok, and actually get to a legit review). If you're looking for a sweet treat you must try the Kahuna Bar. It's a little bit like a magic bar (you know, those bars with every kind of choc chip and that gooey sweetened condensed milk?), but elevated to whole new level of deliciousness. My first impression: love at first bite. For the sandwich lovers out there, I recommend the chicken salad on honey wheat. Nice and chunky, not too mayonnaisey and the spiced pecans add a delightful kick that is quickly balanced out by the subtle sweetness in the bread. Mmm...I wish I had one now! As for breads--I'm a fan of the Living Lite and anything that is swirled with white chocolate and fruit. I guess those sort of cancel each other out--but whatevs, they're delish, each in their own way. I personally have never been on a day where I wasn't greeted with a smile--and so I think the staff just make it all the more inviting to come in and get that free slice--which they'll offer you right away when you arrive. While you're at it, pick up a bread card, because you can eventually get a free loaf and a free cookie...you'd be surprised how quickly you can go thru one of those babies. Yes, it can be a tad pricey, but the quality of what you're buying/eating is totally worth it. They even have a little literature for you to read up on what you're getting...talk about whole grain goodness! I feel well-rounded just writing about it! With all that said, I am def a fan of GHBCo. You can check out their menu each month online to get an idea of what will be in the store when you go. I personally love bringing out of towners there and even fellow atlantians who haven't yet tried it. But it's also a great place on your lunch break on your own. Enjoy!

Great Harvest...why do you have to be so good?! You are my pick-me-up when i need something fresh, warm, tasty, and sometimes gooey (cinnamon rolls delish!) Love yoor sour dough, spicy jalapeno sour dough, wheat yeasty dinner rolls, pestos and cream cheese and honey spreads. Forget chocolate...you are converting a chocoholic into a yeast freak! Love this place. Reno on inside looks fabulous, btw. Thanks for all the fresh hot mega-sized free slices, too. You're like a dealer...the first one's free....and now I'm hooked! Shame on you!
