stopped by on the 19th. great place, good music, excellent bloodly marys. the food was great, the husband ordered the black & blue burger w/ curly fries. I partook of the philly cheese steak w/ blue cheese. We diffinatly will be back.

Good people, tasty bar food, nice drink selection, and friendly staff. We'll be back!

Poor beer selection, average at best food. Really slow service. We had wraps, sliders, nachos all were just OK. The flat TV screens are small.

Only thing I have had from here is the wings. They are good, i especially like the lemon pepper.

I dunno what has happened since my last review, but this place has seriously gone to shit. There's always a round of new employees and most of the waitresses are too busy gossiping with each other and trying to get laid by single soldiers that they don't really pay much attention to actual paying customers.

I've been to Gatas quite a few times. Every single time I go the waitresses are kinda rude. The service is slow, regardless of day and time. The only people that are efficient are the bar tenders. I ordered a pitcher when we sat at the table and we had maybe 5-7 people. 30 minutes later, I received my pitcher with no mug. Just terrible service is all I've encountered here. The food is good and bar tenders are great. But trying to get beer/food at a table is like pulling teeth and the waitresses act as if you are a burden.

Gone to shit. It seems as though they have new cooks every time I've gone or it's the same ones and they started smoking crystal meth.

On went in the hinesville one from savannah they had raw chicken in my French fries and still made us pay for the meal even though we didn't eat it this is a horrible place and the managers name is ray ray what the hell

There are plenty of TVs available for NFL on Sunday. My biggest complaint is the number of loud, drunk soldiers there. Just my opinion, but I want to hang around the adults.

Great coconut pineapple rum drinks and the best chicken strips I ever had. Got food fast. Server nice and attentive. Would go back.

Don't bother. Server took forever to bring the menu, and forever to return to take the order. It was lunch on a Monday, and there were next to no customers. Whoever wrote the menu deserves a Pulitzer Prize for the tantalizing descriptions of the items listed, because the food did not match those descriptions. It was seriously disappointing to have food served that looked like it came from a public school lunch, made with the lowest quality cheese and meats possible. I ordered a sweet tea, and got some poor excuse for sweet tea. It was bitter, and had artificial sweetener aftertaste. It obviously came from their drink fountain. It's Georgia, why wouldn't you have brewed sweet tea?! First and LAST visit.

Food wasn't great and the atmosphere lacks. The bartenders like to throw the empty glass bottles into the trash and it's really annoying. As far as food, I got something I thought would be hard to mess up, chicken strips and fries, and it came out soggy and under done.

Not sure why this place doesn't get awesome reviews. They always have happy hour, 2 for 1 pizza and wings and the staff is always great and they always show the fights and major sports events with NO cover. The food is pretty cheap and good. There are 2 pool tables and sometimes have a live DJ or live band. There are a lot of military that come in as well as locals and can get pretty crazy on the weekend but I've never had a bad time here and will continue to come here as long as I'm here.

Took literally an hour to get our food. Waitress never even came to check up on us. When it came i just asked for a to-go box, and she just walked away without a word. When she finally came back she had an attitude and damn near threw the boxes and check at us (me and my daughter). Done with Gata's.

Having been to both locations in Statesboro and Hinesville I figured it was time for a review. In all honesty I was pretty surprised at this place. Me and my girlfriend went for lunch and the food and atmosphere was more than I expected considering what I had heard. I opted for the wing lunch and she got the Philly cheese steak. The wings are exactly what I expected and tastes just like Buffalos Cafe, both locations former restaurant, and took me back to college in Statesboro for bash night. Her Philly was larger than I expected and for the price pretty tasty but was disappointed to see the used the precooked Philly meat sold by most food distributors. While I would gladly go back for lunch considering the food was tasty and was at a reasonable price I'm not sure I would venture here at night considering the horror stories I've heard.

I like goin there to drink, never really ordered anything to eat besides a pizza. I changed it up and ordered a grilled shrimp po boy. Disgusting! Shrimp wasn't cooked all the way...the tiny 6 shrimp placed on a hard cold roll. I'll stick to the drinking because the kitchen service turned me off after biting that horrible sandwich.

When this was still Buffalos Cafe we loved it. This is the third time I have been here since they changed. We got seated and it wasn't until 20 mins and me going to the hostess that we finally had a waitress come to our table. My beer was flat and my wifes Sweet Tea tasted like it was made with dish water. At least the wings are hit and good...only reason there are two stars

Service slow but OK, need more bartenders one handling all drinks for whole place, waited for beers @ 5-10mins each one. Good selection of beers. Decent "Bar Food", what you would normally expect. Had the wing special, good wings, and a wide variety of sauces. Large bar plenty of TVs. also they have pool tables. If you don't want the typical chain restaurants, this might be a choice for you.

Run DO NOT EAT HERE! Lets start with we were here with a group of soldiers it took 20 mins and I still had to tell the server we did not get drinks. There was nasty black debri in the salt shakers the mixed drinks and shots were so bad the soldiers could not drink them. The food was flavorless dried out and overpriced. Not to mention 30-40 min waits on a 8$ salad that consisted of plain iceberg lettuce, cheese, and bacon. My husband got sick less than 15 mins of leaving here. I would not recommend starving animals be fed this food.
