Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.
McDonalds is the most popular fast food burger restaurant serving different types of burgers in the United States. On the other hand, there are several restaurants such as Burger King are famous for serving the best hamburgers in the United States. Went for Sunday lunch today with my husband and our 1 year old son. We asked to sit inside and were directed to the very back of the restaurant (when there were other nicer areas available) to a booth. The table and booth sits up on a raised platform so when the hostess brought us the highchair, it was at least 1 foot lower than the top of the table. This wouldn't work for our son to sit at the table with us. She then brought a second highchair and stacked it on top of the 1st one and said that would work. I barely touched the highchair and it was rocking all over the place - definitely not safe for a toddler to sit in. I asked if there was anywhere else to sit and she said no. All the booths were the same with the raised platform and that they prefer to keep the highchair at the back booth, so that it was out of the way of other customers and waiters. Since this situation would not work, we were forced to sit outside where it was hotter. They did have some fans on with a periodic mister, which helped. If the weather was too extreme and outside seating wasn't a possibility, we would not be able to eat at this restaurant. I would recommend that the management look into purchasing higher high chairs to accommodate for their raised booths in the restaurant. Our food was ok and nothing too impressive. Our waitress did not seem very cheerful and appeared unhappy to us to be working at this restaurant. I ordered the Greek lamb wrap and found it very over seasoned. The meat was tender but I didn't really taste any of it's flavor as the spicy seasoning was overbearing on it. The fries were tasty, crisp and well seasoned. My husband ordered the honey mustard appetizer wings. Very over sauced and he thought they were nothing special. Overall, we were not impressed by the restaurant and will not be returning. This was our first time here and we were hoping to find a new restaurant since we live close by. Quite a disappointment. Not family friendly as well.

When I first ordered, I ordered the turkey burger, which comes with goat cheese, I knew that and I asked for Swiss with it too. The waiter said, "you know it comes with goat cheese and you want Swiss?", looking at me like I was stupid. Yes! I want both cheeses, no he didn't have to question me. The burger was great, but I asked the manager who brought it for honey mustard and I never got it. I had to ask a waiter I didn't know and I got it in seconds. IF I come back it will be to go ONLY!

After giving this place one too many more chances I've given up. The food just isn't good. Had a couple of specials last time with my wife, and they were terrible. I got the "Crispy Chicken Stack," which turned out to be a couple of bone dry chicken breasts on top of an awkward, almost sour creamy barley risotto. Nasty. Wife got the snapper special, which she said was passable (translation: not good) but that the asparagus was actually bad. Two stars for the friendly and courteous staff. The bartenders were quick (we ate at the bar), but they were out of the beer I wanted. With growing options in the Dunwoody and Perimeter area, this Marlow's may need to step up its food to keep up with the competition.

Marlows is a great neighborhood place to come in Dunwoody. We make it here three to four times a month at least. The staff is amazing, prompt, kind and attentive but not annoying. The food is great!! From flat bread to burgers to their rib specials, you can't go wrong. We've met one of the owners too, and when he speaks about the restaurant, you can tell it's his passion. And he genuinely wanted to know our thoughts on the food and service each time we were here. He wanted us and everyone visiting to be happy and enjoying themselves. We love Marlows!

I had my birthday dinner here and they did an awesome job! I had a party of about 17 people and everyone got food and/or drinks. Our server was awesome and did a great job keeping track of who got what so there was no confusion in the end how to do the bill. From past birthday dinners, I've learned that this is very valuable especially when people are coming and going. For drinks I got a couple of us a sangria pitcher. They add agave to the cups so it was even sweeter. It was really good. We tried some of the appetizers too like the nachos, trout dip, truffle fries, and ahi tuna poke. My cousin and I tried the ahi tuna poke at a different one and both were amazing! We also loved the chickpea fries. Amazinggggggg. Trout dip, I wasn't a fan of and the truffle fries were okay too. The nachos were good though. For dinner, I kind of invented my own thing by getting a buffalo chicken sandwich on whole wheat bread. The result wasn't that great. It didn't have enough sauce or vegetables, but that's my own fault for trying to change up something :P. The space was really awesome and there was enough room for all my friends who came. This place was great to have a birthday party.

I came here for a friend's birthday dinner. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The appetizers we got, however, weren't really good at all. A friend and I decided to share the Marlow's Famous Hummus and the Asparagus Fries. The hummus plate comes with pita bread, celery sticks, and carrot sticks. I liked the fact that the celery sticks were peeled and the carrots were delicious. The hummus itself was too garlicky and very dry. On my second bite, I bit into a very large piece of garlic, almost like a whole clove. My friend commented that it lacked olive oil. The pita wasn't warm at all and tasted a bit stale. The asparagus fries seemed interesting on the menu, but they lacked salt and flavor completely. It really just tasted like fried batter. Unfortunately, I did not try anything off their drinks menu. On the positive side, our waitress was very pleasant. Please note, they do not accept Discover cards as forms of payment. I might come back and give it a second chance and then update my review.

Great food and drinks, my fab is the sangria can drink it all day. Will deff keep going back for more.

Came here to celebrate Ravi's Bday yay lol. I was the first one there so I was in charge of asking for a table for 20 cause they don't reserve tables and they got it done rather quickly; one downside though apparently the staff doesn't do anything for your bday womp. Anyway the staff was great and friendly and were always making sure we were taken care of. I started the dinner with not one but two Blueberry Buck cocktails and they were off the chain, I love sweet cocktails. For the actual entree I went for the Grilled Center Cut Fillet medium well and it was delicious with steamed asparagus, potatoes, carrots and some other things.. and it was really good that's all that matters in the end. All the other food everybody else got looked delicious also. We were seated in the patio area which was nice and cozy, it was an enjoyable night all around.

I've been a couple of times and each time I decide that I'm not going to be in a hurry to go back. For what you get, it's a little pricey. Nothing about it is bad, though nothing I've had is really anything more than "good". It's ok. Nothing offensive. The decor is, well, unoffensive. It's just sort of there. If you're in the area and hungry, stop in. It'll be good. Just not all that memorable.

Met my girlfriend and her family for lunch yesterday. The food was good but nothing that really blows your socks off. It almost felt like we were eating in an upscale Chili's. We did order several flatbread apps which were really good. I had the bacon & blue burger which again wasn't anything special. There are really good options for burgers around Atlanta, and it is sad to say this one didn't impress. The service, however, was fantastic and we felt like we were comfortably taking care of. Marlowes would be a good place to grab drinks and appetizers while watching your favorite game, but as for lunch and dinner, there is just a little more to be desired.
(3)Shalin P.
With so many locations in metro Atlanta, I was surprised I never ate at Marlow's until now. I figured they would have pretty typical bar food, but I was pleasantly surprised to see it's definitely a step up from that. The ingredients are of a higher quality, and there are some unique items on the menu also. We tried the chicken BLT panini and the veggie burger, and both were very good. I recommend upgrading to the truffle parmesan fries. They have about 8 beers on tap as well, including a few local options. The only negative is that due to the position of the TVs, it's not really a great place to watch a game. So it's more of a pub and less of a sports bar. Also, due to this location in northern Dunwoody, the patrons are mainly families and seniors. We will definitely be coming back though.
(4)Dave I.
Excellent food and service. Chef walked around asking if all is ok. Highly recommended!!
(5)Ryan J.
What a great find! The service was perfect, food hot and delicious. The right mix of formal and casual, with linen napkins, but modern music. Since it was my first time, the chef came out personally with a delicious house-made potato chips appetizer with gorgonzola, bacon, cheese and fresh chives. I had the tuna poki, and the French Dip sandwich for lunch, with great flavor and piping hot fries. I like having my food delivered when it's ready, (by a food runner), not when the server has time to get to it. Refills kept full, everyone was friendly and attentive. Five Stars -Ryan (from Colorado)

I always love a spot that has great beer on tap most importantly local beer. This place was very cool and the food was great. Try the kettle chips and the chicken salad sandwich it's awesome. So being from San Diego and having access to some of the best beer in the lands it's nice to go to a place where the staff is knowledgable of beer and really pushes the local stuff. I like to try all kinds of beer and I told my server what I liked and to just surprise me with local and surrounding area beer from the east and she gave me some great stuff. I recommend this place great food and great staff
(5)Basti B.
Went there with my fiancé for the first time this past weekend. We really enjoyed the ambiance, the music and the food was delicious. Their fries are awesome! Great experience all around, we'll be back soon.

I came here on a Saturday after being out at the Atlanta Street Food Festival in Piedmont Park. It was at least 90 degrees that day, lines were way too long and many trucks had special menus for the event that didn't include anything I wanted. For that reason we choose to leave the festival early and get better food. We stopped at some other place that was filthy and a friend that lived nearby suggested Marlow's. I've been to the location on Lavista Road a few times and the food was usually good so we decided to take her advice and left the other place in a hurry. Again it was a Saturday afternoon so they weren't terribly busy. We chose to sit on the patio since it was covered and they had oscillating as well as regular ceiling fans. We were seated right away and waitress came soon after. She was also the bartender so I had my reservations. Fortunately, she was never too busy to provide everything we needed. I can't recall her name but she was great. We talked about her installing an above ground pool and other random things which made us feel very comfortable. She even suggested drink options and I went with a margarita to keep it simple. It was one of the best margaritas I've ever had! A lot of restaurants give you more mix than tequila but this one was near perfection. Since we did eat something at the Street Food Festival I didn't want a big meal so I got the FIRECRACKER SHRIMP and TRUFFLED PARMESAN FRIES. The shrimp was so fresh and crisp. It was not greasy at all and it was so flavorful, without the dipping sauces. The fries were just okay and the reason that this place only got 4 out of the 5 stars. The portions were great, however, and I ate about half of each. It was a great experience and everything was fairly priced. I would definitely return!
(4)Sid B.
We went on a rainy night to try this. disappointed. service and food both mediocre (had to send back two of five items). noisy even though empty.
(2)Al D.
Went as a guest with friends. Otherwise I would have complained to management about the overcooked wings and room temperature calamari. There were service coordination issues as well. Apps came out 30 seconds prior to entrees. Very little flavor in the dried out buffalo wings, but the sweet wings were okay. The fried calamari was cold as mentioned above but worse, it was drowned in a sweet, gloppy sauce. This was one of the worst presentations of fried calamari I have ever seen. The service was very friendly. Nice draft beer selection. But based on the underwhelming food, we would not return. Their handicap access lift has been broken for weeks and needs to be repaired
(2)Sumeet J.
Vegetarian burger was big and good, but it was served not so hot and got crumbled into small pieces. Wi-Fi stopped working after a while and that was the sole reason I went to the place to grab some beer and work on my laptop.
(3)April R.
Great food and service! The manager gave us a free appetizer since it was our first time. Our server, Grady, was impeccable - even let us sample some local brews and listed other restaurants in the area for us to try. Really enjoyable experience!
(5)Mace D.
My wife and I have been coming to this Marlow's for about 2 years. It's about time they get a review. We absolutely love this place! The food and the drinks are always spot on. They keep their servers so well that whenever we come in at least two other servers come by just to say hello. It's so friendly and warm and inviting. The patio is awesome year round! Anytime anything has ever been wrong, they go above and beyond to make it better. And lastly, my favorite thing about this specific Marlow's is that they do an actual brunch, not a buffet. The brunch is decadent... So dang good. I highly recommend this Marlow's , not only because of their food, but because of their staf. Keep up the good work y'all!
(5)Kristin W.
Great place to sit on patio and have a drink. Terrible place for the food and service. I have been several times but mostly for drinks. The menu is sooo boring. Mostly burgers/sandwiches and the entrees are lackluster. I had the black and bleu salad and asked for the steak to be medium rare. It came out medium to well done. No flavor at all. As far as the service... Asked the waitress for water and lemon plus ordered our drinks. Got the water right away but no lemon. Asked for it again. Then we waited 20 minutes with no drinks and no server. Had to ask another server to find our waitress. She finally came over and asked for our order. We said "Well, you could start with bringing our drinks and lemon for our water." Ordered an appetizer and it came in about 10 minutes along with our drinks. Ordered entrees and they took about 15 minutes. Did I mention that there were only 5 tables seated when we got there and 3 when we left? So no excuses for being a busy night. Too many other restaurants in the Perimeter area to waste $ on this place--unless it's just for a drink.

Seems that while there have been a mixed bag of experiences here by fellow Yelpers. My experience was excellent. My server was great, he offered good suggestions and helpful info about the menu, etc. I'm a fan!

Color me impressed. I've been to Marlow's Tavern once, about two years ago, for brunch. I remember it being a good experience and the food being awesome, but at that time it was so far from me that I never really gave it a second thought. Last night we remembered there was one much closer to us now and we headed over for dinner. I was happy to see outdoor seating when we pulled up - I'm always looking for places that offer it, and I am very happy to add this location to my list. Right away, we noticed service was top notch. We were sat at our table outside by a very friendly employee, and we didn't have to wait long at all for water, even though it wasn't our waiter who brought it to us. They left no one waiting last night. Everyone was friendly and attentive, but not fake or syrupy sweet, you know what I mean? There's a difference. They've got the "I'm so happy you're here" down pat. It wasn't just with us; I saw all employees really taking care of their guests. Even as we left, a friendly employee saw us out the door. We had the crab and lobster dip with warm, soft pita bread. No complaints. I've never left a bowl of dip so clean before in my life. We had debated on the crab and shrimp nachos because we saw someone get an order of that, and it was HUGE. But we didn't want something that big. The menu is simple. Appetizers have great options, from wings to dips and soup and asparagus fries. They have a section of salads, one of sandwiches, a few burgers and some great plates, like shrimp and grits and fish dishes. I had the fish tacos. Amazing. The fish was full of flavor and had a grilled taste, and it was topped with corn and black bean salsa. It came with two, and I was able to finish one and a half - they didn't skimp. It came with their grit cake, and imagine my surprise when there were two huge pieces of it. I had to give one to the hubs. He had a chicken panini that had fresh tomato and mozarella and it was very tasty. His fried okra was fresh and lightly breaded - even the breading had really good flavor. Even with the football game on, it was a nice atmosphere - not overly loud and crazy and we were still able to have great conversation with everything going on around us. They have plenty of fans outside too, so it stays nice and cool. We will definitely be back.
(5)Amanda Z.
This is our first visit to Marlow's Tavern, and I am disappointed that we haven't been here sooner! We have had a wonderful experience with exceptionally friendly staff, an enticing atmosphere, and amazing food. Charmaine was our server, and she was probably the best we have ever had. I am a Caesar salad fanatic and have never tasted one as delicious as theirs. I'm not sure if it's the cheese or the dressing, but it is delicious. For an entree, I had the Honey Jack Chicken and Andouille Flatbread off of their new Bayou 'n Bourbon menu. It. Was. Incredible. This was the best meal I've had in a long time. My husband had a cheeseburger and fries and was equally impressed. We will definitely be returning--often.
(5)Yoonie S.
Best fish tacos I've had in awhile! Their bread pudding was also really good. Clean place with fast friendly service.

Repeatedly visited this Dunwoody Marlow's location, and am never disappointed. The chef clearly cares about his craft and it shows. Great food, very nice venue inside or especially on the patio. A great upgrade for Dunwoody. If I had a knock, it would be they could improve their wine selection a bit. It's also definitely pricey, you get quality in return, but be aware.
(4)Bob H.
I was impressed with how thoughtful the wait staff was in mid afternoon. I dropped in to look over the menu and atmosphere. The staff was great. I told them that the menus items were too large for the time she recommended a half order of wings that was not on the menu. Fun ! Very relaxing group.
(3)Teresa L.
I'm surprised that this restaurant isn't getting better reviews. Maybe it helped that we visited around 5:30 on a Friday, so we missed rush hour. I had the shrimp and grits and my date had the black and blue steak. The shrimp and grits were one of the best things I've tasted in a long time. I don't usually like grit cakes, but these grit cakes were perfectly seared and delicious. The creamy tomato sauce was so delicious. Service could not have been better. I love the huge booths. It was so freaking cold in the restaurant though. The waitress explained to us that the place gets really busy and hot after about 7:00, so they try to keep it cool. If you visit during off hours, take a sweater. I don't usually like chain restaurants, but this is one chain that I will visit often.
(5)Eric N.
Service was lousy and the food was ok. The server first made mistakes twice with our drinks and usually they sat empty until we said something. After completely forgetting to put in our order she comes back and apologizes and then says that the manager will come by to apologize. The person who came by was a chef by the look of his attire. He was not remorseful or apologetic at all. He looked at me and said yeah we forgot to get your order in but it should be out real soon. When the food came it was pretty bland. I won't be returning which is a shame due to the limited choices in the area
(1)D H.
I like the asparagus fries they are yummy and the black and blue burger is great also. I did not like the blackened salmon, it is a little salty, nor that they put about 2 cups of salad dressing on my caesar's salad. However the staff was great and the atmosphere is fun especially the deck outside.
(4)AM F.
Great Atmosphere. Feels like a real "Cheers" neighborhood bar. Great food. I LOVED their beef & barley soup. I should have ordered a bowl not cup. The bartenders know how to make a good martini as well as serve up a cold beer. For the family, we go there quite a bit. In fact, my teenagers walk down there and meet their friends. They like to sit on the deck and meet up there for a hamburger and fries, which are REALLY well made and tasty. Don't wait. Head over there and be prepared to enjoy.
(5)Heather L.
One of my favorite places to go. Just wish they were a bit busier at night and would have live music. Other than that the food is awesome, they have a great variety of drinks, service is good and the bartenders are awesome!
(5)Nestor R.
Slooooooooow service! Waited 15 mins to meet our server and it went down hill from there. Horrible service all evening!! This is now the second time in a row at two different Marlow's Taverns that we have severe service problems. The first time was so bad the manager bought our $130 meal for four -- however, that's not the point of going out to dinner.
(2)Anthony M.
Listen, regardless of how good the food and service is, we desperately needed this place and more like it! Happy to have marlows down the street for a good place to hang out.
(5)Kelsey A.
This restaurant is new to Dunwoody, and as such, it is incredibly popular. So at dinner hour (especially Friday night) expect a decent wait. For a table for three, we waited an hour. The bar will serve drinks and appetizers while you wait, if you can get the bartenders' attention. The only places to wait for a table are along the bar or out on the deck. The hostesses were rude when asked about open tables. They were rude when seating us as well. When we finally were seated, it took twenty minutes before a waiter noticed us and took drink orders. She was friendly but slow with our orders and slow to refill. Other people waiting for tables crowded us and hovered while we tried to eat, which was not only awkward but uncomfortable. By service standards alone, the place is AWFUL. But the food was so delicious that I already find myself wanting to go back. Those parmesan truffle fries were to die for, and my family and I had three very delicious burgers. All the food I saw looked great and everyone around us seemed to enjoy it. It's worth a trip, but make sure you plan to go when business is slow, like a late lunch or early dinner.
(3)Jim C.
Great new spot in Dunwoody. 7 of us early on a Sat night. I had Fish Tacos were light and tasty, shrimp w/grits as everybody raves was loved (even if you don't usually like Grits you will like these) Steak Frits
(4)Hildee I.
Mmmmmm Marlow's! I have started to CRAVE this place. The veggie burger isn't a frozen disk, it's made in house crisp, flavorful and healthy. Shrimp & Grits is the best I have ever had. I'm not a grits fan, I don't care for the texture but here they form it into cakes and crisp them up beautifully. The sauce used to elevate the giant shrimp is easily soaked up by the grits. Asparagus fries allowed the flavor of the vegetable to come thru without being greasy or overly breaded. I hope I get to go back this week.
(4)Jennifer B.
I love their blue cheese burger!
(3)David G.
Honestly, the best hamburger I have ever eaten in my whole life. Yes, better than 5 guys, smash burger, anyone. Fries are great. As an appitizer try the fried asparagus
(5)marie t.
First off...I'm glad they're in Dunwoody as we need some decent places to eat besides the Mexican or Italian eateries.. They recently opened..maybe the end of July or first of August so they have some kinks to work out. I found the staff to be very friendly and efficient..."top notch"... I ordered the chicken panini which was delicious. Two others ordered some type of beef sandwich on thick bread. We didn't see much beef in the sandwich for the steep price so they need to adjust this.....where's the beef? They DO NOT take reservations so it was very crowded and noisy inside with no where to stand but in the doorway or by the bar. Just don't get it why these places can't put in a decent size foyer...the outside deck will be nice in the summer.. All in all.....glad they're here and I'll go back in a few months to see if they tweek their recipes a bit and give better prices...even though it's Dunwoody....
(3)Randi M.
We wandered in here during the Dunwoody Art Festival to grab some lunch. We had a crab and shrimp nacho dish which was okay and some burger/sliders that were ho-hum. Our service was great, but the food wasn't anything to write home about. I think this place caters more to the night/bar crowd. $15 bottomless mimosas looked very tempting!
(3)Denise R.
I love their burgers! The black and blue is my fav!! Hook and Ladder my red wine to go to. Their pickle could use some juice ;). The staff is always on point. The restaurant is clean. I love to sit on the deck. It's coved so you don't have to worry about getting rained on. Did I mention dessert. Yummy!! Always good food & great service. They have TV s so you can watch your game. Must try...
(5)Chris F.
What a fun place. My husband and I just moved to the area and saw this place driving by. The waiter was very nice and asked if it was our first time there. After saying yes...a free appetizer appeared brought out by one of the managers! There is a large selection of items and the prices are good. We will definitely be regulars here!

Went here last night with my boyfriend. We were first time guests. First Impressions: Great atmosphere. We sat on the patio which was nicely lit and everyone around us was laughing and having a great time. Sort of modern and laid-back with a homey feeling. Customer Service: Our waitress was amazing! She recommended items on the menu, was super friendly and brought every thing out quickly. I definitely felt like she cared about our experience. We tipped her very generously! A manager came out and introduced himself, gave us J.T.'s Kettle Chips on the house, and welcomed us to the restaurant. He was super friendly as well. Food: Food was okay. I had the Crispy Chicken Stack. It was dry- the chicken, the risotto, everything. I didn't try my boyfriend's fish tacos but they gave him a lot of meat and the presentation was beautiful. The Kettle Chips were the highlight in the food category. I am not a huge fan of gorgonzola, but the flavor was not over powering. It was creamy, the tomatoes were sweet, chips were crunchy. YUM. Overall: I would return here because the service was superb. The J.T.'s Kettle Chips were to die for- will get those next time we go. I suggest you try it out, just don't get the Crispy Chicken Stack! Upon leaving, our waitress informed us that they have a loyalty club. They add seasonal items and members get a free taste. I thought that was pretty cool as well. So 5 for Service, 5 for Atmosphere, 3 for Food, totaling 4.3 Overall.

I came here with some coworkers for lunch because many of us had never tried the food here. The atmosphere was dark and very tavern-y, with music playing at an appropriate ambient level. There was a fairly large group of us, and except for another large-ish group of people set up next to us, the restaurant wasn't very happening. It's sort of set off from the road, so it's nothing you can easily find just by driving by, but a GPS can get you there easily enough. The waiter took us to a table in the middle of the floors, and since our party was something like 9, we had to borrow a chair from another table. The people around me got varying food, and I got a burger--the Tavern Double Cheese Cheeseburger. It was neat that they let me get two kinds of cheese (cheddar for the flavor and provolone for the meltiness), and they also ask you how you like your burger. I think they have a limit to how they can cook it, because someone asked for medium rare, and they said they could do medium. I ended up getting the medium myself, because I'm not sure of the quality of their burgers. PROS: Service was good, but the restaurant was pretty empty, during a weekday at noon. Double burger means you can get TWO types of cheese. Ambiance was nice. Dark, with music that wasn't overly loud. CONS: Burger was like $12, and just not that good. Farm Burger burgers are cheaper and MUCH better. Fries were waaaay overly salted. I needed a ton of water (4 glasses!), just to keep from being parched. Overcooked the medium burger that I ordered. THE VERDICT: The burger was okay. Cooked a little beyond medium, but there was really nothing remarkable or memorable about it other than the cheesiness, which had nothing to do with the restaurant and everything to do with the cheese. The food is okay, and definitely a bit overpriced for the quality you get. I don't think it's the kind of place I'm likely to visit on my own.

Simple, clean, friendly service and good food. They seem to serve breakfast all day. Had a Rueben sandwich, diet soda. Hidden comfort food restaurant in Dunwoody. Will be back. Good alternative to Panera that is close by.

Excellent food and service. Chef walked around asking if all is ok. Highly recommended!!

Went there with my fiancé for the first time this past weekend. We really enjoyed the ambiance, the music and the food was delicious. Their fries are awesome! Great experience all around, we'll be back soon.

Being from out of town, I wouldn't recommend coming here when there are so many other places to try out. The service was lovely, and the beer selection solid, but to me the food was ordinary. I felt like I was at TGIFriday's, and that's not a good thing.

We went on a rainy night to try this. disappointed. service and food both mediocre (had to send back two of five items). noisy even though empty.

Marlow's is one of the few chain restaurants I actually like. I've been to about 4 different Marlow's in Atlanta and they have all been pretty good. My favorite items on the menu are: Fish Tacos Prime Rib French Dip Kitchen Sink burger - they need to put this back on the menu!! Asparagus fries Jalapeño corn grits Shrimp & Crab Nachos Service's been great every time. Harold at this location is one of my favorites. He's a good server with a sense of humor. They need to fix the light for the sign of this location though. I drove right by it and didn't realize until my GPS told me I went too far down the road.

What a fun place. My husband and I just moved to the area and saw this place driving by. The waiter was very nice and asked if it was our first time there. After saying yes...a free appetizer appeared brought out by one of the managers! There is a large selection of items and the prices are good. We will definitely be regulars here!
(4)Dale N.

Must try...

(5)Sumeet J.
Vegetarian burger was big and good, but it was served not so hot and got crumbled into small pieces. Wi-Fi stopped working after a while and that was the sole reason I went to the place to grab some beer and work on my laptop.
(3)Grover M.
Glad to see Marlow's open up in Dunwoody village. They have a great covered deck - it's all new and shiny. The service was good. Seating for 1 is not a problem but I am surprised that the bar isn't a bit larger it looks like about a dozen people can fit comfortably. I had a burger and someone left a plastic spear that I guess they use when they sauté the mushrooms. Anyway I bit into it and explained to the barman when he took my plate. Marlow's comped my lunch so that was ok by me.
(4)Minnie M.
I've been a couple of times on Sunday night. Both times my order was lost, so they gave it to us for free, although very late. So, it was good but we were so famished we barely chewed. The mgmt was apologetic but I could never figure why our waitresses could let that happen...
(3)Berni B.
Always sit at the bar get a Bloody Mary and watch some sports! I love the kettle chips and the burgers are great!
(4)April R.
(2)Russ M.

(4)Lucy W.
Friendly and attentive service, food was pretty good and consistent with other Marlow's Tavern locations. I had a pretty good veggie black bean burger with cheese. There's also great appetizers and other pub food, especially the tempura fried green beans. They're kinda healthy, right? Drinks...stick to beer instead of their attempts at mixed drinks and you'll be fine. Spacious with lots of indoor and outdoor patio seating. It's not fine dining, but it'll do when you just want some beer, burgers, and fried foods.
(3)Morgan T.
Giving this place 4 stars because it really is delicious. However the service is kind of slow.
(4)Steven G.
New location, warranted a new review...I've been to the one off of LaVista Rd in DeKalb and generally enjoyed the food and service there. This location was on point as well, no disappointments here! Service was excellent, especially for a new location. Our waiter was extremely attentive and was by our table at least every 5 minutes. Out waters were never less than half full and he handled odd requests without missing beat! The food came out fast and he constantly made sure we had what we needed. The food was pretty good...not the best I've had but then again, this place serves typical bar food so I was not expecting the best. Everything was hot and seemed fresh. No real complaints here but nothing to sing about either.
(3)Stephen S.
Maybe it was a case of holiday doldrums, but the shrimp and grits I had today were the worst kind of bad--not bad enough to send back uneaten, but bad enough to ruin my experience of this place. The grit cakes themselves were fine, but the whole dish was doused in a fluorescent (yes! Glow in the dark!) tomato cream sauce with a sickeningly salty taste. The shrimp were rubbery, probably frozen. The dish was served lukewarm to boot. The rest of my party had pretty good food it seemed, but mine was a disappointment, especially when I was told by the server that they were the best thing on the menu.
(2)Donald H.
Decent experience. Don't you hate it when your entrée comes out .6 seconds after your appetizer? Well it wasn't quite .6 seconds (more like 2 minutes). We order the Tuna Poke (one of my faves), the steak salad, the crab bites, and the grilled Mahi sandwich. Would rate the meal 3 out of 5 stars
(3)Eric B.
First time at Marlow's Tavern in Dunwoody. Had heard good things and tasted their cheese grits with shrimp at a Night On The Square. For today's lunch we decided to take the plunge. We tried the Buffalo Chicken wrap, Grits and Shrimp, and the Tavern Burger. The wrap was good. The chicken was moist and the Buffalo sauce with ranch was not too overpowering. The Grits and Shrimp were spectacular. Definitely a family fave and one we will have again. The server said they were known for their burgers. I am not sure if that means known for how good they are or how overcooked they are? Needless to say ours was the latter. I wondered if the grill man used frozen meat because the outside of the burger was almost blackened while the inside was done but not the pink we requested. Unfortunately, this rendered the burger with a distinct "burnt" flavor that was inedible. We returned it. To the manager's credit she came out and apologized and had the kitchen prepare the meal a second time for no charge. The second time was the charm. All said, the atmosphere was as to be expected at a tavern. The lighting was low and the televised sports were in abundance. The pricing was appropriate for the meals and proportions. The average entree was about $9 and should fall within most budget conscience family's range of expenses. Will we go back to Marlow's Tavern? Definitely. And maybe we will see you there!
