Excellent non-greasy food. I loved that I was able to order my food without msg. Fantastic value during lunch. Great service as well!

The food is disgusting! The employee taking orders, well, that's another thing altogether. It's certainly a Caucasian female. She always seems irritated about working there. You almost want to reach through the phone and slap her upside the head. If you like extra protein in your food aka roach bugs by all means eat your fill.

I ordered take out tonight. Went in and picked it up. When I got home was opening the bag and saw something crawling!!! I could not believe it but it was a ROACH!!! My husband took the bag outside and killed it, then I put the food back in the bag and drove it back to the restaurant. I took it back in and asked for a refund and informed them of the disgusting problem. The lady at first asked where the bug was? I told her she could view it's smashed body on the bag but to please give me a refund, she instructed another lady to give my money back. Needless to say I will never return and first thing Monday I am going to report them. I had to give it a one star to post other wise I would have left it blank.

Great price; great portion; taste not so great; and wait time was unexceptional. First and last time ordering from China Garden. We ordered the House Style Braised Tofu and Szechuan Tofu.

Had Hot & Sour Soup. Too cool I like HOT soup Brought my Hot tea in teapot that had spots of red sauce on pot Asked for knife to cut chicken she brought me a DIRTY knife. House special chicken was good Good luck. I usually live this place but not today Health score was 86

For some reason I continually come back to this place after consistently bad food. Maybe this is because I can't believe that someone would open up a restaurant in this internet-connected world and obviously not read the online reviews of their own place. And yet, here I am again, baffled at how the rest of the Chinese restaurants out there haven't shown up at their door to demand they stop calling it "Chinese Food"... or "Food" for that matter. Below, in the additional tips section, I will be marking "No" for Wifi... if they had Wifi, then they should have read my previous review.

Great chicken lo mein. Service was ok. Probably could be a little friendlier. Kept the drinks filled.

Food good. Service good if you get the right person. The thin oriental waitress is the nicest person there. She remembers all her customers and is cordial. Cant say that for the others there. Good size portions. OK for kids. Well be back.......depending on who is waitressing that day.

Two Stars.... Had my food delivered in less than 15 mins after ordering !!! Had the Lo Mein, Fried Rice and orange chicken/lemon chicken & sweet-n-sour...... Not so great .... None of the food had flavor, the chicken was bland and even though were ordered three different types of chicken they all tasted the same...........

Ok food if you want something quick and in a hurry. Would have given China Garden 3 stars but the lady at the front desk is so not nice!!! Location is clean, which is good to know.

One of the best places in Douglasville. That's not saying much because good "Chinese" food is not common in this town. Overall not that bad though. You could do worse.

I really like this place and pretty good Chinese food for Douglasville in my opinion. I had the Kung Pao chicken, it wasn't spicy at all (it's suppose to be spicy) and fried rice (they used long grain rice instead of calrose or even jasmine) was decent but the egg rolls, not good at all. The Wonton soup was some of the best I've ever had though... The portions are huge - one meal is enough to feed two people, easily. The prices aren't bad considering the amount of food they give you. They deliver which is a HUGE plus. I like it though and I'll definitely be back.

This place is good for a quick meal when you dont feel like slaving over a hot stove. Their dishes can be hit or miss so its like playing the lottery. All in all I would go back if need be, but it isn't something that I crave for.. personally I like Bamboo Garden on Chapel Hill alot better.

Not the fanciest place but the food is great. Just call in your order so you don't have to spend any more tie t

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
