Visited F2O Thursday 12/04 and was disappointed. Granted, it was crowded, but they should have anticipated the crowd for the "tree lighting". It took 10 minutes to place order even though only 5 or so we're ahead of us. It took over 30 minutes to get food even though they were salads. Several around us left to watch the tree lighting, and got back before food arrived. I would like for something to "stick" at this location, as it seems ideal, but no one seems to be able to provide good service.

Looking for some healthier options like salads, veggies, rice, and grilled chicken or fish? This is a great place to eat. Don't get me wrong, I love a greasy mouth watering burger and french fries, oh yes I do. But, instead of waiting and waiting for a table in Decatur - this place has a lot of seating, inside and outside. We wanted vegetable options for our daughter. Apparently on Saturday and Sunday, kids meals are 99 cents, we were sold! Not sure if that was a promotion but our wallets are happy. Our daughter had the coconut chicken with salad. We ordered a side of grilled veggies: red bell pepper, portobello mushroom, cobb of corn and broccoli - delicious! I had the crusted sesame chicken panini (or something like that). It was ok. Half way through my sandwich I realized I had eaten this before in the airport's Fresh 2 Go, oops. It sounded better on the menu, next time I may order an entree. The side salad it came with though, my daughter kept eating it - it was that good! Keywords: Southwest Ranch! My husband ordered the salmon and rice. Wow, it was tasty. The rice was also a hit with our daughter. The salmon had a glaze, slightly sweet and cooked perfectly. We will definitely come back! One draw back, no changing stations for babies and toddlers in the restrooms. We looked in both the men's and yes, women's restrooms. If added, it would be more family friendly. So, next time you are standing and waiting for a table, try this place. We did, they are quick. And more importantly, we enjoyed it.

The good, the bad and the ugly: Good: The chicken tortilla soup looks (& tastes) more like chicken soup without the noodles; but it's really good soup. Bad: Waiting 17 mins for a to-go order on a cup of soup and half Caesar salad. Ugly: My face as I'm gobbling down this delicious freakin' soup! The salad was meh....nothing special.

Not want I expected but then again it was my first visit. I feel as though I should visit once more before I rate their food. So, that being said this review is for customer service and my overall experience, Not food. I love the fast-food/fine dining concept. You wait in line to place your order for food and wine and you get to pour the wine all by yourself? my kinda place. They also guide you in pairing the salad toppings or wine with your entree. Once your meal is paid for you are given a number so they can locate you when seated. The food is brought out to you piping hot. My waiter was friendly and so was the host, yes there is a host who greets you at the door. I was not impress with the plastic plates and utensils but hey, you get to pour your own wine, what's there to complain about.

When F2O at Emory Point opened, I was psyched to have one just a short drive away. Now I have one within walking distance! If you're not familiar with F2O, it's a regional chain of fast casual restaurant with a large menu of panini and salads, along with appetizers, soups, and entrees. You order at the counter, get a number, and your food is brought to your table. This location just opened and my SO and I happened to be craving salad. Off to F2O! I had the 1/2 Market salad with a 1/2 bowl of creamy chicken vegetable soup. My SO had a full Mediterranean salad and added fire-grilled chicken. Everything was very good, as it's always been at every location. So here are some bullet points on what I really enjoy about F2O, and this location in particular: - One of their salad dressing options is lemon with herbs! I was so happy to discover this because I hate vinegar and didn't want a creamy dressing. Simple, healthy, and delicious. - They've got a PYOB (pour your own booze) system going on here that is pretty cool. Essentially you buy a card with a monetary value ($6, 12, 18), active it at the DIY station, and pour to your heart's content (or your card's limit)! - I will warn you, though, that whether you pick Sweetwater 420 or Miller High Life, you'll get the same amount for the price you paid. So...don't come here and order a draft High Life. - There is also bottled booze, as well as bottled water and fancy sodas like Izze and Dr. Brown's. Yum! - Oh yes, and they have dessert options (which shockingly, I have not tried) like mini icebox pies, cookies, and brownies. - The patio is awesome and a loooong sliding glass door means a big open space that blends together indoor and outdoor areas. - Service is attentive and enthusiastic. - On their website, you can look up nutrition information and they have a nifty little calculator, so you can add up multiple items! Sooooo I will definitely be back. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe. Mmmmm.

The staff has been friendly, answered questions and helped us pick out items from the menu both times we've been to Fresh To Order. That being said, it's an OK restaurant for a salad, but the rest of the food I've had, including the soups and sandwiches, were way, way over salted. Also, both times I've eaten here with other people, our food was brought out sometimes 10 minutes a part from each other's. I'd prefer all of our entrees to just come out at once so some of us aren't sitting there starring at the other person's plate of food.

I have been twice now, so I feel ready to write the review. I'd like to give 4.5 stars, because there are a couple of suggestions, but hey, that's not an option. On my first trip, the manager greeted me at the door and explained the concept: fine dining quality food without the price or the table service. Interesting. OK, let's see! I had a 1/2 bowl of mushroom soup and the blue cheese / fig salad. Both were magnificent. I was blown away by how good it, was....it WAS like fine dining food, even though I was staring right at a fountain drink machine in a fast-food atmosphere! The staff was very friendly, although a tad confused on a couple of points during the ordering process. It's early days, so I chalked this up to training. This trip, I got the Asian salad with a 1/2 bowl of chicken vegetable soup. Both were good, but not as good as the first day. The salad seemed just a tad less fresh, and the soup just wasn't as yummy as the mushroom one. They have just gotten an app up and running, so I was offered a $3 off my check if I downloaded the app and paid through it. Which I did, but then the $3 did not come off the check. I forgot about that until later, so I just let it go. The cashier also did not know how to handle checking me out through the app. I would think that the APP REPRESENTATIVE greeting everyone as they came through the door would have taken care of this. The tipping situation is beyond ambiguous. Really? You suggest a 25% tip when I order at the counter and get my own drink in a plastic cup? I think not. I hope those food runners are not getting the shaft. Anyway, the food is good and I certainly plan to fill up my Loyalty Card. They have some good looking paninis on that menu, but I doubt I will ever NOT get the mushroom soup again, it was that good. It's cold now, but their patio is quite charming with its bright green astroturf, so I plan to enjoy some of their self-pour wine out there when the weather gets nicer. I hope they have gazpacho in the summer time. And this may be the concept that actually makes it in that inexplicably cursed building.

I've actually like the food at Fresh to Order, but this one has terrible customer service and management. It's clearly the worse of the 3-4 I've been to in the metro area. They give you all that 'fakey' greeting, but they really don't know how to service a customer. It's giving the franchise a bad name. I work in downtown Decatur and started coming here with high hopes until: -they continually got my order wrong -someone would come to my table and I would make a request which they said they would take care of and never do it -they would serve the person I'm with, and 10 minutes later I have to go up to the kitchen area and ask where my food is and I'd get some defensive response. And it was clear they hadn't even made it. -it feels dirty. I come to tables and have to ask them to wipe them down. And the floors feel sticky like they've never been washed. Just swept. So I've stopped bringing co-workers and clients. There are just too many great alternatives in Decatur.

So I came for the first time last week. I ordered the tuna burger with garlic mashed potatoes, and fried calamari. The burger was full of flavor, but I personally wasn't a fan. I suppose it was maybe too much flavor, and not enough tuna to me. Just as I began to contemplate getting a new burger, the manager came and asked my thoughts on the food. When I explained my distaste, he offered to replace it. So I chose the bison burger. While I waited, I enjoyed (loved) the calamari, and mash potatoes. When the burger came out, my word how it was satisfyingly delicious!! So much so that I had to wrap it up to save for later. I didn't want it gone all at once. Next I made my way to friends across town who hadn't eaten yet. I shared my food, for I believe good food should be shared. This meal got DEVINE reviews from all THREE of us!!!! Obviously they're doing things right!

Really like their salad options. The half size portion is a pretty good size and I usually mix it with salmon/asian crunch panini or soup. Bonus, you can add/remove items from their salad because its made fresh.

I think F2O puts addictive substances in their food, as you may have suspected from my frequent check-ins. I visit the one in Midtown all the time for lunch, and stopped by here after my haircut (Salon Red 4-eva), I grabbed a Caesar salad and a sandwich to go, and after a short wait I was on my way. When I got home, I was super stoked to dig into my salad, but then I got sad when I saw they'd forgotten to put croutons on it. Caesars only have like 4 ingredients to begin with so forgetting 25% of my salad was a bummer. HOWEVER, I'd added the grilled shrimp to the salad and those were a total lifesaver because they are beyond delicious. Perfectly grilled with a ton of flavorful seasoning--I'd gladly pay dinner prices to eat a plate of those. The sandwich was the pork something or other, and my husband was pretty into it. It looked kinda small, but then he helped me with my salad so no one ended the meal still hungry. Don't get me wrong--I LOVE Fresh To Order. I do feel like they could lower their prices or provide more food at the price point, but that hasn't stopped me from obsessing over them anyway.
I ordered the Mediterranean salad topped with blackened shrimp. The shrimp was very well-seasoned and the salad was delicious. My wife ordered blackened chicken and Cobb salad and she said it was excellent. I tasted her wild mushroom soup and thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't give them five stars because we waited for over 15 mins for or food.

I visited F2O on Friday, February 27th for lunch with my co-workers. I have not been there before, but had heard wonderful things about it. My experience was not so lucky. Upon arrival and after a short wait, I ordered a Mediterrean Salad with Almond Crusted Tuna as an add-on. I also asked for the dressing on the side. When the servers brought our lunches, mine had tuna fish on top...(ew!) so they took it back to the kitchen to have it re-made. No big deal...happens all the time, right? Well, literally 20 minutes later (I only get an hour for lunch and its a 5 minute walk to/from the office) I meet eyes with the food runner, he turns around to see how much longer it's going to take to make my SALAD! Then he comes straight out to our table AND THEN TURNS THE CORNER TO AVOID ME! So I call him over and he says it's going to just take about 2 seconds and he is going to have the manager comp my meal. Cool beans! 10 minutes later...STILL NO FREAKING SALAD!! It is no 12:40 and I gotta be at work in 20 minutes. So FINALLY the manager brings me my salad. THEN HE TRIES TO TAKE OFF WITHOUT EVEN SAYING HE WAS SORRY! I stop him & ask him about comping my lunch, to which he replies, that he would take care of it. Then I dig into my salad...and guess what? NO DRESSING! Luckily the lunch runner comes over to ask how my food is & he runs over to grab some for me real quick. The salad and tuna were good, but nothing worth waiting 45 minutes for and definitely not worth the $12-$14 it cost. Then guess what...I need to leave and still no manager. He sends a different food runner over with about 4 $2 off coupons for me - still no 'sorry'. I'm beyond ticked at this point - not at the staff - but at the manager. I take my coupons up to him and tell him I am not interested in coming back and I just want my money back...and besides, 4 $2 off coupons don't even cover how much I spent on that salad. He takes my receipt and I'm thinking he is running the credit on my credit card. 3 minutes later he comes back with some additional coupons saying he wants me to come back and is sorry. At this point I am pissed but I gotta go back to work like 5 minutes ago, so I leave. MANAGEMENT SUCKS! Food is ok but definitely not worth the prices or any kind of wait. I WILL NOT be going back I'll be selling those coupons on eBay.

Attended a training nearby and decided to come here for lunch. It was so delicious! They give you so much food and for such a reasonable price. It was amazing! I had the cobb salad and mushroom soup. Both were delicious :) Oh, and the mint lemonade. ... nice twist on a southern favorite!

We've been pretty obsessed with F2O lately! The service is always top notch and very accommodating and the food is super delicious. I usually get the Salmon panini with apple slices and my husband gets the pork panini. The corn nut salad as a side is really good and I love the honey croissants that come with the salads. :) Also $1 kids meals on weekends can't be beat! Highly recommend!

Visited on a Sunday evening. Very quiet but it was late. . I ordered Mediterranean Salad and Tomato Bisque Soup. My son had the Chicken Mushroom dinner. Salad was fine, not exceptional in any way. Soup was tasty and quite good. The chicken dinner was so-so. Not worth $14. The mashed potatoes were not warm enough and definitely NOT made from scratch as they advertise. Tasted artificial. The mushrooms and sauce were very good. Service was great at counter. Table server was very courteous but did not return to check on us.

Love this place. I must agree when I had the steak sandwich the steak was too tough and came right out. However, the chicken tenders....good gosh. I could have an all you could eat with those. The staff is also very helpful. The manager is great, but he reminds me of a Gordon Ramsey with his staff. He expects perfection and doesn't mind telling them in front of customers.

First experience with F2O's steak panini; meh. The sandwich itself was ok, but the meat needs to be much more tender such that you bite into it and not pull out all of the meat in a single bite. Plus, paninis should not cost $10. Thought I was getting a bigger sandwich compared to the paninis in Starbucks. So $15 for lunch is not my cup of tea, but hey, if you got the scratch, spend away..

I surprised to learn that we were getting an F2O in our indie food town of decatur. I had previously dined at a couple around the city and never had a bad meal. I'm delighted to say that our lunch today was made in a timely manner and tasted delicious. My gf and I are pescatarians so our options are usually limited. Pleased to see a tuna burger which was surprisingly filling and a black bean burger that was light but also filling. The plus was that both came out served on a foldable flatbread that didn't take away from the burger experience. Thanks F2O for a great lunch and we expect to be back in the near future.

This was one of the places that had ahi tuna near me. I have been 5 times. The first time was amazing. The food is always great and the staff is friendly. I always get it to go and I waited 30 mins once as I watched everyone that came after me leave before me. I gave them a second and third chance and each time it's the same thing. I waited almost 45 mins the last time. My food was ready but all the guys behind the counter were too busy flirting with some girls to turn around and give me my food. Although I love the food I probably will not be returning

Consistently disappointing food, despite friendly staff and an open atmosphere. A special note to those intending to do work during their visit: the wi-fi does not work.

Great salads and mushroom soup! The service was wonderful with friendly and efficient people.

Food is awesome! And we had great service when we went. Nice selection of drinks and eating out that doesn't make you feel bad about yourself later.

Great fresh healthy food options. I had the small plate lime shrimp with asian slaw and lovef it for only $6.

I was greeted at the door by a very friendly staff at this newer Decatur chain. I like that they are seeming to want to earn my business, because initially I wasn't interested in checking out this chain in downtown Decatur. So many other great restaurants make downtown Decatur a very competitive location! But they're only a half block from my office, so I wanted to give them a chance. As a healthcare professional, I am looking for super healthy choices when I dine out. What's to make me forego the grass fed beef at farm burger? The brown rice and Asian fusion at noodle? They seem to be marketing to the health-conscious crowd, so they better bring it! I was pleasantly surprised to see bison burger patty on the menu, as well as black bean burger. Deep-sea tuna and sustainably raised shrimp round out the menu. They had a ton of salads, and don't seem to mind substitutions. I got a spinach salad with crispy almond slivers, "real" bleu cheese crumbles, apple slices and dried cherries; all were generously portioned. This place wisely has something for everybody though. A wide selection of Panini's, entrées and desserts grace the menu. They also had numerous homemade looking flavored iced teas, and cucumber water that was free, and a nice touch. Bonus in my mind was how the place transitioned from lunch to evening mood with their wine , the only one in downtown Decatur that I'm aware of. I'm looking forward to a deeper exploration of the menu in future visits. Bottom line is you can eat healthy here or you can be decadent, and you can bring your friends who can go either way as well. Choices. I like that.

You can never go wrong at F20. This was our first time at the Decatur location, but they didn't let us down. I got the salmon Panini and an order of the croissants which will be the best croissants you ever had (nice and buttery and sweet). Service was impeccable, just how it should be!
(5)Celeste S.

(4)Phillip N.

Excellent salads and soups. Nice addition for the lunch crowd. Lines are long at lunch but it moves really fast. Large portions on the soups and salads. Haven't tried the sandwiches yet.

Was so happy to see that there is a location closer to my home. The staff was tremendously helpful, knowledgeable and kind. I always, always, always get the Chicken Salad Caesar Panini sandwich on the Ciabatta bread & never disappointed with its freshness, right temperature of the meat and overall taste. Today was the first day I took my mom since she just moved into the area. She wanted one of the cookies but wasn't sure how it would taste or if she would like it. Several around us left to watch the tree lighting, and got back before food arrived. I would like for something to "stick" at this location, as it seems ideal, but no one seems to be able to provide good service.

Great salads and mushroom soup! The service was wonderful with friendly and efficient people.

Great fresh healthy food options. I had the small plate lime shrimp with asian slaw and lovef it for only $6.

Maybe. Mmmmm.

You can never go wrong at F20. This was our first time at the Decatur location, but they didn't let us down. I got the salmon Panini and an order of the croissants which will be the best croissants you ever had (nice and buttery and sweet). Service was impeccable, just how it should be!

Consistently disappointing food, despite friendly staff and an open atmosphere. A special note to those intending to do work during their visit: the wi-fi does not work.

Great food! Great service! especially the mushroom soup and the fig salad... Love it, will return for more regularly.. felt bad that I forgot the tip on the table :(
