Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.
McDonalds is the most popular fast food burger restaurant serving different types of burgers in the United States. On the other hand, there are several restaurants such as Burger King are famous for serving the best hamburgers in the United States. A really good solid burger, served with a smile. The service is not just good or nice, its kind. These folks are especially pleasant. I went for the first time on a Friday and I was back again Monday. That goes to show: I like it a lot. Now it is not fancy, but really tasty and convenient. The burgers are really good and juicy. I notice that a lot of reviews on here basically say, "great burgers, but the fries aren't hand cut/ sides aren't great," ect. Well, you can also get a great meal for way under $10, and the quality destroys any fast food chain out there. The burgers are similar to 5guys (also, as many reviews say) but you also pay a lot less (makes up for the non/hand-cut fries.) Either way I suggest you try it.

Whelp, so here we are, Cozy Burger Town. You've really let me down. Not that I was ever in love with your food, but it did the trick when I was too lazy to go to Farmburger and and not shameless enough to hit up McDonald's. It didn't hurt that you're well under a mile from my house. You were so convenient and I loved that about you. I'm not sure what happened to your burgers. My last one was flavorless, and the bun was a bit stale. Fries were okay, as always, because if you fuck up fries then well, we really have nothing more to talk about. I tried to save the meal by diving into the totally random and out of place chips and salsa, but that Pace Picante realness, dude. Yikes. However, your cardinal sin was taking milkshakes off your menu. How could you do this to me, CBT? How can I trust you again? I was rooting for you! We were all rooting for you! ... To be honest, y'all...I'm not sure where to go from here.

Revisit! I think i'm ready to say that this is my new favorite burger. Hot dog's good too--a nathan all-beef split & griddled just right.

I am surprised how much I enjoyed my visit to Cozy Burger Town. First, can we all just agree that the name is ridiculous? And the exterior does look a little abandoned as Kris J. mentioned. But once you're inside, it's all about a tasty burger. Bacon cheeseburger with cheddar was spot-on perfect. The fries were also super tasty and (bonus surprise!) the little side of chips & salsa was the perfect start to the meal. The service was speedy and friendly, and I wouldn't hesitate to stop in here again when I want a burger that's better than fast food without the full service bill.

Needed a take out burger, and I lived nearby. $5 double cheeseburger, I skipped the fries since crinkle doesn't excite me. It was okay. It was too light on the mayo/ketchup; I added more when I got home. For what I got and what I paid, I think it was decent. I might get another takeout burger there when I'm in the mood and since it's nearby. I don't think it's a destination for me; nothing really compelling, just convenient. The staff did seem friendly.

The burger sides come with a side of chips and salsa. Plus, this place is reasonably priced. I think I'll go try it again soon.
(4)Julia C.
That was a great burger! And the onion rings were as good as they get. I'll be back.

I've passed this place for 2 yrs without ever going in just based on the appearance of the outside, and then I finally tried it. Surprisingly the burgers were really good. Even the turkey burger was good. The Philly cheesesteak was good too. The wings are ok; you just have to tell them not to drench them in sauce, unless that's how you like yours. I think the food is slightly overpriced but it's pretty darn good.

My boyfriend and I joked about actually going to this place. I mean the name of the place combined with the old Pizza Hut look on the outside, we did not have high hopes. While very random (Marilyn Monroe, fruit painting on the walls, and chips/salsa with your burger), the place is clean and makes a good burger! It was satisfying, fresh tasting and, of course, cozy. Chips and salsa was a nice touch too!
(4)Heather N.
Solid old-fashioned, trend-free, drippy back-yard style burger. Tastes like something one might get for free at a tailgate. "Here, want a burger?" "Sure." Mmm.... I'd driven by this place a hundred times and never thought about stopping. Mistake to judge, and also to try it, because now I drive by and need a burger. Didn't mess with sides. I don't like frozen crinkle cut and tortilla chips just seem odd with a burger. I'm giving a full extra star for the hilarity of the name and the random Marilyn art. Cheers!

My office pal and I spotted this new Decatur burger addition on our way to Big Lots (which CBT happens to be in front of) one afternoon. She's a vegetarian, so when we saw that they offered veggie burgers, she was in. The space is brightly lit with huge food images painted in white along the walls. There's also an oddly placed large framed photo of Marilyn Monroe with a quote about stars--or maybe diamonds, lasting forever that somehow added to Cozy's charm. I went with a bacon cheeseburger and a side of onion rings. She ordered a veggie burger with sautéed mushrooms and fries [and by the way recommends this wholeheartedly]. The owner/manager/cashier meticulously took our orders being careful not to miss a detail and relayed it word-for-word back to us and subsequently to his Gen-Y cook standing three feet behind him. Honestly, this all took a while and there was a bit of a wait for the order to be ready. If you're the impatient type, rest assured, there's a plasma TV propped up in the back to help you bide the time. It's a small operation with a lot of heart and a fine burger--but the onion rings really stood out. They were crispy, not too oily and there was a hint of sweet, which perfectly rounded out the savory bites and made me thankful for the hefty portion. I visited CBT within its first week of business, so I hope it keeps it up--but I certainly left satisfied and smiling.

I'm not going to lie--I was mostly intrigued by the name. But we had a craving for burgers, and CBT delivered. I had the mushroom burger with jalapenos, lettuce, and tomato. The burger was a nice size and cooked well, with just enough pinkness. The vegetables tasted fresh and were plentiful. The fries and chips and salsa left something to be desired, as mentioned in previous reviews. Still, though, a solid addition to Atlanta's burger offerings and certainly priced reasonably.

I love the mild wings . The perfect amount of mild seasoned wings. The service is beyond excellent. A great place for lunch or dinner. The only suggestions is to have more drink choices.
(4)Shawn D. F.
The burgers were fantastic and moist. And as any seasoned sandwich lover knows the bread is key. They serve Masada bread and it makes the burgers delicious. The sides do leave something to be desired. It's about 7 bucks for a lunch special, highly recommended. They are not nearly as good as they used to be.

Cozy Burger town is an underrated Decatur gem. It's not near the high class eateries -- it's between Captain D's and Picadilly (gross). First of all, don't go here thinking it's a McDonald's or some other fast food. All orders are made fresh and will be brought to your seat in 5 or 10 minutes. The menu is a bit schizo, with burgers, wings, salmon, cheesesteaks, etc., but all in all, it's good food. It's definitely no Farmburger and some Decaturites might not like the generic materials with which you can build a burger, but all the toppings are free and they are plentiful. Crisp crinkle fries are great, but so are the golden onion rings. A variety of sauces and spices are on the table if you want anything more than ketchup and mustard. The clientele seems to be the local cable installer crew and nurses, but it's never crowded. You can even get a portabello burger, but I have not tried that. The wings have many flavors to choose from. The management is friendly and attentive.

An odd little burger joint I've driven past dozens if not hundreds of times. But I didn't even realize this place was in business until someone brought me here a few weeks ago. The menu is quite varied, to say the least, but I've only gone straight for the burgers here. Even though they're about as generic as you can get -- no fancy or organic or creative ingredients -- the burgers are pretty good. They're also made fresh to order, so it'll be a bit of a wait for your food. The sides, however, are a little ... bizarre. The onion rings were mediocre, most likely of the frozen variety. And my meal also came with a handful of soggy tortilla chips and a little cup of some of the blandest salsa I've ever come across in my life. A little weird, to be honest. Still, it's a tasty burger, so I could see myself coming back here in the future.

Burger was tasty, will go back and try other burger variations

A couple of my coworkers are always raving about this place. I dropped my car off at the nearby tire shop and had to walk back to Emory, so I thought I'd check it out on the way. The workers are extremely nice and attentive, and it has a kind of fun, laid-back feel. I really wish the food had been better, though. The burger was just not my thing; maybe I'm one of those trendy-burger people that the other reviewers hate. But the toppings were bland, the meat tasted mediocre, and the cheese was gross. Maybe the cheese was bad because I apparently inadvertently cued them to put mayonnaise on it, and that kind of blended with the melted cheese. But the main problem was the sides. Fries that I'm pretty sure were just frozen out of a bag, plus the bizarre inclusion of about four tortilla chips and some salsa that tasted like ketchup. I don't get the appeal. I know it's cheap and unpretentious, but I would like it to taste good as well. Maybe someday I'll try the mushroom burger and see if it's any better; I've also been told that you should only order onion rings and skip the fries.

Dined at the CBT in Northlake again. I had the salmon burger. Tasty, hot, fresh, great service. No complaints here.

Well, today was my first visit. I see this place all the time..but i honestly thought it was closed..lol. I decided to give it a try today. Wow was I amazed, first of all the burger it's excellent. The fries great, hot and crispy, and I had to order of onion rings based on the reviews I saw on yelp...delish! Only thing that was disappointing, they forgot the bacon on my bacon cheeseburger! I chalked it up to the 7 other things I put on my burger...so they get a free pass..THIS TIME! I am going to be a repeat customer!

I love this place so so much. The Burger: It's great. It's really great. This is not the gourmet burger that you'd get at Flip or Bocado, but a really well-made, diner-style burger that is juicy and flavorful. It's better than Five Guys. Really. The bacon cheeseburger is always a good choice. The buns are nice and chewy and toasted on the inside and the toppings are always fresh. Plus, the burger, despite being drippy with delicious meat juice, really holds together nice. The Side: The chili is truly delicious. It is very unique and is great on a burger. In the fall and winter they also serve it in a cup, and I usually substitute that for my side instead of fries. The fries and onion rings are decent (they discontinued their hand-cut fries for frozen crinkle fries), and the chips and salsa are a nice, albeit weird, addition. The fries are made great by the wide variety of flavored salts that are provided (from lawry's to lemon pepper). The milkshake is also thick, delicious, and adorable with whipped cream and a cherry. The Wings: Sadly, these aren't recommended. I'm not a wing nut, but unless you like REALLY vinegary buffalo wings, you aren't going to like these. Seriously, my eyes teared up a little when we opened the box. But hey! It's not cozy wing town! The Place: It's a little weird in here with fruit and vegetables painted on the wall and a picture on Marilyn Monroe in a home-made frame, but the owner will quickly make you feel at home. He remembered me on my second visit. Everyone is very friendly, and the place is very clean. They do close pretty early in the evening, but on several occasions they have stayed open late so that we could grab a bite. They're always very accommodating. Overall: This place really is a gem. It's a shame they aren't known as one of the best burgers in Atlanta. If you're on a quest to find your perfect burger, Cozy Burger Town definitely deserves a stop on your tour between Bocado and Ann's Snack Shop.

Tanya F. responded to my whiny discussion thread regarding "The Burger Invasion" here in Atlanta with her reassurance that Cozy Burger Town was not to be feared. And they had good onion rings. My intrepid SU ("please stop photographing our food") and I had lunch there yesterday. We had one combo special bacon cheeseburger with rings and one plain burger. First, the burgers. SU pronounced them more to his tasting then our recent farm burger extravaganza. He likes 'em flat and not bleeding. He thought the beef was tasty (its supposed to be 100% Angus) the bun sufficient but not toasted and the minimal toppings, tasty. I thought the bacon cheese with pepper jack was superior to fast food, but I'm still not decided as to the comparison to 5 guys. I'll have to eat them in the same week to make that comparison. My combo came with strange stale tortilla chips and some sysco salsa. Totally not necessary, the evenly battered and not overly greasy rings were good. As for the rings beginning their life as little frozen ring objects, possibly - but they were obviously pretty good quality. It was too early for a shake, I'll have to get one later. And they need some outdoor seating! All and all, pretty good. I'd certainly eat there again.

Clean eating area. Burger cooked through and thicker than a fast food place. Fries crisp and good. Good lunch place.
(4)Sid P.
This is a solid burger place. There are a ton of burgers around town. Cozy Burger Town isn't the best, but they're far from the worst. It's also very convenient to my house, so that's good. The burgers themselves are quite good. The sides sometimes leave a bit to be desired; the onion rings can be hit or miss, and the little thing of salsa that comes when you order-in is uninspiring. What IS excellent is the customer service. We had a to-go order and I drove off without the cole slaw. They called me back before I even got home and offered to physically BRING IT TO ME. That's class.

I HIGHLY recommend Cozy Burger! 100% Angus beef, nicely seasoned, with numerous fresh topping & condiment options. Additionally, one of the few places that I can get my beloved Vienna hot dogs *sigh* :) Look out Skip's & 5 Guys, Cozy has thrown down the gauntlet! For the "I don't eat meat" crowd: I'm not a fan of the Tuna Burger (yeah, it cost Cozy the 5th star...what can i say...i'm a man of conviction & principle LOL), but i WILL return for those "darn tasty moo-cow burgers"!!!
(4)Ray B.
I was in this area and noticed this place on yelp. 'Cozy' is trying to mimic the '5 Guys' model in a former Pizza Hut building ... it's clean (enough) inside (though not exactly "cozy") and Hamburgers were very, very good. But the sides need work ... first of all, despite what another yelper mentions, I find it highly doubtlful the fries here are "hand cut" ... they are the typcial frozen french fry that a number of independent restaurants have on their menus around Atlanta, and they were not cooked long enough; resulting in anemic-looking outsides and overly doughy insides. The onion rings, on the other hand, seemed a bit overcooked. 'Cozy' shows promise, but needs work.

4 stars from me because I couldn't stop eating the fresh, hand cut fries. Don't get me wrong, the burgers are really good, but ooooh, those fries. I ordered the philly cheesesteak because I wasn't in the mood for a huge burger. My hub ordered a burger and boy was I jealous. It was fresh, juicy, and very very tasty. The toppings were plentiful and they offer a bunch of condiments. My cheesesteak was good too with lots of meat, cheese, veggies and all slathered between a soft hoagie roll. Not bad at all. But the fries just sent me over the edge. They were fresh, hot with just a touch of salt. I actually like this place a smidge better than 5 Guys because they offer combos and a few more choices outside of burgers, hot dogs and fries. They have chicken sandwiches and tenders and different types of burgers like veggie and tuna.
(4)Jamarcus T.
I actually visited cozy burger because I had no clue what I wanted for lunch and yelpers gave high marks, so since I was in the area, why not? I ordered the turkey burger combo to go. There was nothing wrong with the burger, but I'd just rate it as average. Fries were decent, crinkle fries, although I was hoping for the home fries I'd heard about. Maybe I missed them on the menu. Chips and salsa were also part of the meal. Interesting bonus! Will I be back? Sure, why not, if I'm in the area. Plus there's enough selection to give it another shot
(3)Kiera M.
This place is awesome! Cheap and really good. Service was not just good, it was excellent! Some folks on yelp are a little hard on the sides. They might be frozen. Ok, but they are still cooked perfectly crispy. Also, the price was well under $10 a plate. Two combo meals came to $14 something. With burgers this good, I can deal with accordion fries for the price.
(5)Debbie F.
So I said to my husband, "Honybunch I want a good turkey burger tonight". He did a search using YELP and found this cosy little restaurant that used to be Pizza Hut in Surburban Plaza. He called and ask the owner, "do you all sell turkey burgers?" The response was yes. He then asked, "Are they good?" The response was. YES!!! So he said to me, let's go. This was the BEST dawg gone turkey burger I ever had. It was not frozen but fresh. I almost got the chicken fingers because we heard those were great too, but you talk about being satisfied... It was good to the last bite!

My five year old insists upon calling it "Crazy Burger Town" but indeed, it is rather cozy. "Fast Casual" burgers and sides taking over the prior One Love Diner/former Pizza Hut location. Okay, so it's obvious they are working with the "5 Guys" kind of burger model, but it was a pleasant surprise to find out that they have multiple vegetarian/semi-vegetarian options and kids menu (inlcuding salmon, veggie and mushroom burgers). Most burgers are $3.49-$3.99 and you can 'make it a combo' for the price of $5.99-$6.49. Kids combos are $3.49. 5 of us ate quite well with drinks and sides for just under $30. All the burger toppings are free and include all condiments and lettuce, tomato, sweet onion, jalapenos and pickles. The fries were fine, nothing super special but they did have a variety of toppings including Old Bay (yeah, I'm from Maryland) for sprinkling. The very pleasant proprieter brought a pile of extra napkins to our table. There was a flat screen T.V wall mounted, in case you forgot your ipad (har!) and the food was delivered fairly promptly. It's cooked to order, so a bit longer than fast food, but both kids and our friend from out of town thought the veggie burgers were very good. They also have chili and onion rings and apparently "pankcakes" for breakfast. Okay, so apparently no one proofread their menu, but that's the kind of stuff I just love when I go out to eat. We'll be back and I saw someone pick up a to-go order while we were there. Not sure if I'll be doing a lot of lounging on the straight back white chairs on the 'porch', but once they get some rockers, I will be gettin' cozy outside, as well as in.
(3)writer d.
This place has been around for about 8 months, which is a feat in itself considering how all the other restaurants that occupied the spot went bellyup after a short time. The name is peculiar, yes. So is the hodge-podge decor inside bur it's the food that counts -- and Cozy Burger Town delivers. The patties are soft and juicy. The onion rings are delicious. The fries are crunchy. Good cheap food that won't disappoint!
(4)Herman N.
Had my first taste of this hilariously-monikered establishment this evening, thanks to an adventurous friend. Not that you have to be adventurous to enjoy Cozy Burger Town, though--far from it, in fact. Rather, it's just important to keep in mind that what you'll get here is not like the Farmburgers and Flips and Yeah Burgers of the world. No, this is a solid, cheap burger with delicious/standard toppings and tasty steak fries with the skin on and a hard-to-explain-yet-lovely sweet flavor to them. Yeah, this is good stuff for a good price. Give it a shot, burger lover.
(3)Gwen G.
They are expensive but They have reallllllly goooooood fooooood!
(3)Sam M.
Better quality than fast food, and cheaper than Five Guys. I've driven past Cozy Burger Town a few times and noticed the grand opening sign. It is not in the greatest location and I have not noticed many cars in the parking lot. So, I decided to stop and give it a try. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with a side of fries. They had plenty of options with cheese and toppings. The guy that took my order was friendly and seemed to actually give a damn about my food. It didn't take long for the food to be ready. The burger was pretty good, the patty was a decent size, but it seemed like it didn't quite fill out the bun. I might go double patties next time. The fries were okay, nothing really special and pretty sure they were frozen moments before. There was some seasoning salt at the counter, so I used those on my fries and was able to eat them. I will try the onion rings next time. The chips and salsa that came with the combo seemed out of place. Price wise, it was a good meal for around $7. Also, not really sure what the Marilyn Monroe poster mounted on a tripod was all about. I went back recently and they had changed things a little bit. They now serve Vienna Beef hot dogs. They also updated the fries and these were better.
(3)Mary M.
2,5, rounding up because i have been a righteous bitch on yelp lately and this helps me feel better about it! burgers were acceptable, wish they would toast the bun instead of steaming it. beef was fine but the whole thing was over seasoned, seriously salty. i was hungry though and i have to admit that the last bite tasted better than the first. fries were salted to the point of being inedible, not to mention being undercooked and smooshy. i don't need the calories anyway! what is the deal with the stale chips and salsa though? that went directly into the trash. summation: not amazing but better than i thought it would be for a burger joint next to big lots
(3)Tashia Z.
Recently visited CBT. Don't know if I'll return anytime soon. I didn't mind waiting, because the food is cooked to order. However, the burger was super well-done and, despite waiting 10 minutes, they forgot my fries. This food didn't surpass Wendy's or some other fast food joint, and it wasn't even close to Five Guys in terms of quality and taste.
(2)Denise B.
We dropped by for lunch and both had cheeseburger combos. I was pleasantly surprised. The burgers are cooked to order with your choice of toppings. The fries were good. The sweet tea was a little too sweet, but it wasn't a major issue. I still haven't quite grasped the concept of chips and salsa coming with every combo, but to each his own. I would have liked to munch on them BEFORE the food came out like they do with the peanuts at Five Guys. Having just visited one of the newer burger places in Decatur where the parking and seating are limited and the prices big, this was a welcomed change.
(4)L. J.
I wanted to like the food here. I want to support the good cheap food in Decatur. However the burger was kind of dense and over-cooked and the fries were typical previously frozen and overly salted. I notice that another reviewer said they were steak fries with the skin on. They are not. The ambience is great, on the positive side. It was quiet, light and airy.
