Stopped by on a Sunday; service at the counter was a little slow but food was worthy of the wait. Curry goat was tender with few bones, would recommend. Top billing goes to jerk chicken, good flavor. Portions are big, couldn't finish a Small dinner. Only wish they cooked more pepper into the chicken and pork instead of putting it on the side in 'gravy'. Fyi if anyone doesn't know, Boston beach in Portland Jamaica is the birth place of what we call Jerk today.

I've been to this place several times and I like it. I almost always get their oxtail, because it's my favourite dish. Going to be honest - not the best oxtail I've had, but it's definitely still good. Like others have said, there is usually a bit of a wait - although I went in yesterday and got my food pretty much immediately. The portions are large and I've not had anything I didn't like. Also I've never experienced bad service here.

Patties were full with meat and veggies. The escoveitch fish was awesome, a lot of food for the money. I am from Michigan and my husband ordered the oxtail and I ordered the fish. Awesome lots of food for the money and reasonable price. In my 5 day visit I went to this place 4 times that his how awesome the food was and the lady in the back is a awesome host. Great job and great food. Will be back.

No oven jerk chicken here..Real smoked on the pit jerk! Jerk sauce should be sold in the bottle is so doggone good. He won't sell you any either unless you buy some food. He is serious about that recipe! For those that care..he sells both white and dark, though my preference is dark. They have jerk pork too and hubby says curry goat is good. ***WARNING** Put on your island hat when you come, because they are slow but it's worth the wait IMO. Planning an outing: Call ahead if you want 1/2 pans of food for outings. I made the mistake of not calling ahead and he let me know about too (In a very sweet way I must say). Had he not, you know I'd let ya know that too.

My favorite Caribbean spot. The jerk sauce is the best I have had since I've been in Georgia. And my second favorite if curry chicken. Great food. Good prices.

I came to this establishment while visiting Georgia from Chicago. I ordered a jerk chicken dinner and my aunt ordered a quarter jerk chicken with a side of white rice. After we ordered we were told the credit card machine is out...so we asked if they could start the order while we went for cash...when we returned, almost 45mins later our order still wasn't done...jn fact, we had to give the order all over again...since it wasn't done my aunt asked to change something and the man came out saying please don't change your order again... What i received was jerk turkey instead of chx which was luke warm. The food was not bad but far from superb for jerk and between the man and woman who were serving us...I've never been treated so unkind in a restaurant! What happened to southern hospitality?! We dined in and my aunt asked for a cup of water...the woman at the counter said sit down and ill call you for it...she never did...after ten mins my aunt went back up to ask again and received a cup of warm tap water...is this a soup kitchen or are we paying customers 'cause I sure can't tell...no one deserves to be treated like this...I will not be back.

I tried the Stew chicken. It's the best in town. Curry chicken is really good. Expect looooong waiting time. Since the cashier & cook all same. It's a family business

Only gave 2 stars because the Rice & Peas was good. But, really, i can't fine anything else nice to say about this place. My wife and i were in town from New York, we were told that this is "THE PLACE" for jerk. "THE BEST JERK IN TOWN" they said. "SERVICE IS HORRIBLE" is what they forgot to tell us. Lady had an attitude. We ordered 2 meals that took 30 minutes for them to make, we waited hoping that the food would make up for the slow service ...........it didn't! Some of the worse jerk chicken i've ever had, and believe me i've had some bad jerk. I've had jerk at Applebees. Enough said. Jerk chicken & pork tasted like sausages, i thought it was just me but the guy at the table across from us heard me saying that and agreed. The oxtail was horrible, just bland. My wife asked "Can you put a little gravy on the rice?" they lady tuned it into rice soup. I ate my rice & peas and left. Never going back. They're doing the name "Boston Jerk" a big disservice. The taste is no where close to the Boston Jerk in Jamaica.

I went this Tuesday and the service was not bad , when you have wonderful food sometimes you get a line.............ok so what great food people are going to shop there, they are nice and clean ,the owners work there very hard and are especially polite to all their customers ( no color or creed) .I love it here remind me of the excellent Jerk Chicken in Miami Fla.

Love it! Love the jerk chicken and the jerk pork. Great smoky flavor, great portions, everything is always fresh.

The food is delicious..ive had the jerk chicken, curry chicken and stew chicken. The jerk chicken is a little different but what kicks it off is the sauce(spicy). Be prepared for a wait, the lines gets long very fast.

Simply the best jerk I've tasted in ATL .... PERIOD! If your not sure what real Jamaican jerk taste like, this is it. The plantains were moist and full of flavor. Not to mention the huge oxtails and gravy in my large dinner. They sell fresh made sorrel and Irish moss. Boston Jerk taste as if it was transplanted from Flatbush or Nostrand Ave (Cheffy's or Apache) in Brooklyn. Worth every penty $$$

My second visit was to try the jerk chicken. Which was so good I almost cried. Very moist and very tender. The rice & peas on the other hand were a little dry and the plantains weren't as flavorful. Though I did like the choice of vegetables. The chicken was amazing, by far, the best jerk chicken I've ever had. You could taste the smoke and they put the sauce on the side. Very good

The chicken is good but the service is slow and comes with a bit of attitude. I paid $10 for a half chicken and another 5 for two non alcohol beverages. I will go here until I find a better place with better chicken, once I do- I will never spend another dime with these folks again.

Been on a hunt for good jerk chicken like the jerk chicken I had in NYC and a friend told me about this place. I was skeptical being that I have been over a dozen place looking for some really good jerk chicken. This food was good! The rice was so good and the jerk chicken was even better. It was tender and they use white meat!! The plantains were delicious just as others stated in their reviews. Only problem I had was there was a long unorganized line with no menu. I literally just ordered off the top of my head. Food came quick & they have a huge selection of drinks. I will definitely be returning to this place when I have another jerk chicken itch lol.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! The jerk chicken is amazing and the plaintain is cooked to perfection! The service was wonderful I went Friday evening and it was fast.

The lady taking the orders, preparing the food & taking the money was very rude! She raised her voice at me because I didn't tell her what kind of sauce I wanted on my rice fast enough. I ordered Jerk chicken, rice & cabbage. ($8.56) I started to walk out when she placed my food on the counter. I had planned on buying a drink but her attitude changed that. The other customers looked in disbelief. I was cordial & went straight to Yelp when I got in the car.

Great food, good prices and clean. Their lunch menu is small but very reasonably priced (11am-3pm) for $3.99. There food taste great! Their Ox tail, Stewed beef, Stewed chicken and Jerk chicken have all been tasty and fresh, the rice and peas are perfect! Only small complaint is they never seem to have any cod fritters :-( Other than that I recommend highly!

Stopped by for lunch again, and sadly, the honeymoon is over. The $3.99 lunch special is OK, but not worth the stop. It seems like they are using the trimmings to make the specials. Rice and peas was dry, or old. Jerk chicken had a nice smoke flavor, but was completely devoid of any kick in the pants. Jerk sauce was watery and weak. I do not mind bones, connective tissue, and cartilidge/fat/skin for flavor, but when they become 80% of the protein served, it is a bit frustrating. They also have trouble with bone shards due to poor equipment and techniques... The beef patties are OK.. What is NOT OK is their prices on EVERYTHING else. $2 for canned sodas, $5 for a jerk drum/thigh... It blows my mind that many ethnic restaurants seem to think they can sell $1 in food cost for $8-10 retail and grow their business.
