Our family loves this restaurant. The staff is always friendly and the food Is always good. You can't beat the price. Ask for the chunky salsa. I love that stuff!

The chips were just average. The salsa below average. I ordered the Special Burrito #3 with flank steak. The flank steak was boiled & flavorless. The refried beans which were just average were the highlight of my plate. Below average place in my book. I didn't find a reason to return.

Doubt I will go back or recommend it to anyone. Service was terrible the last two times and food mediocre. Last time, the waiter made us wait forever and then acted like there was something funny about that. This time, two different waiters and could not figure out who did what. Screwed up drink orders completely and I don't think they ever understood what the issues was. There are too many decent Mexican restaurants in this area to put up with this place

Ordered a to go order and was not told there is "to-go" fee when I placed my order. It wasn't until I picked up my order and asked why it was so high that this additional fee was explained to me. Also, when I asked if I could I order a half order of chicken nachos she told me yes but I was charged the same as a regular order. I will not come to this place ever again.

Prices have gone up recently and there is a marked reduction in portion size.

We always ask for the "brown salsa" when the chips come to the table. It is made with roasted chilies and has a very good flavor without being too hot. We love the Shrimp Tacos on corn tortillas. The Carnitas are also very good. The staff is always friendly but, last Sunday the place was packed and the kitchen was having a hard time keeping up with the orders. Our waitress had way too many tables to serve. She yelled at us from an other table to get our drink order. It took 45 minutes to get our order. The food was worth the wait.

I came up to visit my God parents and when I mentioned I needed a Margarita, they took me here. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the bean dip!!! I never was crazy about bean dip or ate it, but my God mum told me to try it. It was awesome. The Margarita's are pretty decent too. The rest of the food wasn't all that to me and being that I grew up around a quite a few Mexicans, I've had better so the next time I come to visit I'll just make sure to eat good to be able to drink those 'Ritas and have enough room for that bean dip! Just be sure that you call first on the bathroom at home if you get the bubble guts like moi from eating Mexican lol!

Worst Mexican restaurant in Conyers. They messed up my to go order and did no want to make correct or refund money. Spoke to the owner and he said he deals with people like me everyday. WOW!!! I was amazed at the level of unprofessional behavior from a neighborhood restaurant. Please do not patronize!!!

I love this place! Good food and reasonably priced. It's not the most authentic Mexican food I've ever had....but the second best I've had in GA (the first best place closed)

For a place that's not that packed they sure too a long time to get my food ready. Interesting interior & kind of a fenced in patio in the front [could be nice during the warmer months]. With the glowing reviews I figured this place would be halfway decent but it rated nothing more than an adequate. Got the Chimichanga's one beef, one steak & I really wished I would have gotten two beef. The steak was OK but there wasn't much flavor, the ground beef had a bit more pop to it. The beans and rice were also bland. Don't hold much hope for this place other than it being your standard Mexican spot. Nothing to go out of the way for.

Dined here today for the first time. Service was pretty good and friendly. Food was good and the standard American interpretation of Mexican food. Decor was a bit on the hokey side with the standard Mexican blankets, matador costumes and maracas on the wall.

Ambiance is decent, typical Mexican restaurant decor. Service is generally pretty good. However, the food is a big ok. The beans and rice lacked seasoning, but the salsa was pretty decent. The food is fairly authentic, but they sell out when the serve tacos on FLOUR tortillas. I've had the tacos a few times because the meat is pretty good. Sometimes they bring the onions and cilantro on the side, sometimes they just never bring it out. And its kind of annoying that I have to ask for my tacos on Corn tortillas, considering I've been eating tacos for my whole life and the only place I even knew of that served them on flour was Taco Bell. Corn should always be the standard with flour available if someone asks. Since I've moved to Georgia from LA, my biggest gripe with Mexican food on the East coast is that they stray too much from the traditional preparation of the food. So overall I give Los Charros a 4 out of 10.

The Horchata was a good start, but you get the usual thin complementary Tex-Mex salsa jacked up with way too much chile. Why can't they just add some freaking cilantro to the mix? Do Mexicans really like their food this spicy? Order the Pico de Gallo and you will get the real chunky stuff(but you will pay for it.) The "Authentic Tacos"(Al Pastor, Carnitas, or Asada) come with corn tortillas but they are factory made. I don't know what I was thinking, but I asked about getting some homemade ones. (duh? kinda hard to make when you don't have a press in the kitchen) Anyway, they are decent and hold together just fine without needing to be double wrapped. The condiment tray comes with cilantro, onion, and a green and a red spicy sauces. I have tried the pastor on two different occasions, and the meat was over salted the second time. I most recently tried the carnitas version, and it is outstanding; just as good as anything you would get at an "authentic" tacqueria. I ordered two and decided I needed another one before I left. Very moist and tasty with a reddish sauce. Gobble these up quick while they are hot. The carnitas platter is actually quite different: big serving of pulled pork(no sauce) with grilled onions and 5 tacos(you will need to specify corn) with some pico de gallo and guacamole. And, of course, beans and rice. If you want to pig out on something healthy, the shrimp cocktail is the way to go. The portions are very generous but do not order the "monster" size unless you plan on taking half of it home. The large size is more than enough with tons of shrimp and lots of fresh cilantro, avocado, onion, lime and diced tomatoes. This flavor combination is what I think is great about Mexican cuisine. What is up with all the melted cheese and salty chili sauce? Yuck. OK, I will admit a fondness a gringo fondness for sour cream. The Tostada Shrimp de Ceviche is a great little menu item. This is the kind of Mexican food I like. Very fresh, light. The Mexican beef stew is just your basic stew with salsa added, served on a plate with beans and rice and some tacos. I think the key to eating well in a Tex-Mex joint is to customize your order with substitutions and then pick a few choice side dishes. Get rid of the usual crap(chips/salsa, rice/beans, flour tortillas, melted cheese) and substitute or add some of the following: lime, cilantro, guacamole salad, pico de gallo, chopped avocado, extra corn tortillas. This is healthier and tastes better too. Probably a good idea if you can remember to request that you dish be prepared without any additional added salt. Warning: Both Google's map directions and mapquest do not seem to work for this address. Try using "honey creek village shopping center ga".

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
