My favorite BBQ in Columbus. Great sauces and nice atmosphere, nothing fancy, they let the food do the talking. Awesome Brunswick Stew, loaded with meat. This is the first place we go whenever we return to visit family. They know to meet at Pepper's for lunch the first day we get into town if they want to see us. I like the fresh white bread instead of buns. Allows the pork and sauce to shine.

Easily the best BBQ in Columbus. I'm not a huge fan of the BBQ in this area but my husband and kids love the BBQ from Pepper's. The meat is always flavorful and very good quality. And the owners are very customer service driven and willing to go out of their way to serve.

Kelly catered my son's graduation party. She went above and beyond to assure that, not only the food, but the delivery was top-notch. My guests were absolutely astounded at how good the food was - especially the ribs. We've been coming to Peppers as long as they have been in business and they have the absolutely BEST food, BEST service and BEST prices for what you get. Some would rather go to the "country" for BBQ but they are missing out if they do.

Hands down the best Barbeque ribs you can find in Columbus. The prices are a little on the pricey side (especially when you adding a drink), but the ribs are well worth it. I wasn't a fan of the side dishes to much or their barbeque sandwiches, but Pepper's can cook ribs and this alone keeps me coming back for more. Its a very small restaurant and gets pretty crowded quickly mid way between lunch and dinner.

Good barbeque. Nice local restaurant. Sauces are a little on the weak side. Cannot tell the hot from the mild. Family run. You really cant go wrong here. Just dont expect anything above average. I personally like the place and will continue to be a patron.

Good ribs, good pork. Not the best ribs I've had, but that's pretty far away from Columbus. The sauces were okay, but none really shined. The stew was also good. Overall, I'd go back. Next time I'll try their pork sandwich.

The best BBQ in Columbus, GA area in my opinion. We had them cater our wedding. Best chopped sandwich around and their mild bbq sauce is great. They have kind of odd/weird hours it seems like but definitely worth it.

Columbus has the best Barbeque pork in the world. I have been all over the USA and had the different cuts, meats and sauces but I love my West Georgia Barbecue the best!. That being said, Pepper's has the best quality meat in town. These guys know what they are doing. Perfectly cooked, pulled and chopped. The remove all the fat. The yellow mustard sauce is the same sauce I remember my grandad loving and I'm proud to see my grandkids loving it too. The Brunswick stew (not chili, LOL) and BBQ slaw are the best in town too. I am usually not a cole slaw eater but there's is really good. This isn't what your gonna get anywhere else in America, enjoy the tradition and the difference.

OMG Pepper's BBQ is THE BEST BBQ that I have EVER put in my mouth!!! their PORK BBQ sandwich is simply AMAZING! I get the finely chopped and I like it plain just the meat and the bread with lots of those extra dill pickles....mmmm....it is soooo good! I also am a big fan of their slaw dogs and that Brunswick stew I could eat by the gallon!!!!! My husband really likes their mustard based BBQ sauce and pours that on his sandwiches and he likes the slaw on his pork sandwiches just like they come. the staff is ALWAYS friendly and the food could NOT taste ANY better! I am an ARMY wife and we moved several years ago and the BBQ in TX and NM just does NOT compare! it is BEEF here and WAY more expensive and NOT NEARLY as good! EVERY SINGLE TIME we go home to visit my family in C-town, Pepper's is where we go to eat FANTASTIC BBQ!! I even bought a gallon sized bag full of their pork meat to freeze and drive all the way back to fort bliss, texas (21 hr drive) to have in our freezer for when my husband came home from deployment! he thought he had died and gone to heaven! LOL! it tasted just as good as he remembered and what I love about Pepper's is it ALWAYS tastes the same! it is NEVER hit or miss! they really know what they are doing seasoning their meat! I really miss that great food and can't wait to go back there the next time we make it back to Columbus! =)

Nope, not it. I'm still looking for the good BBQ joint in Columbus. This was mediocre and my husband didn't even eat his bowl of chili. My meat plate came with bread and that's to be taken literally. It arrived straight out of the bag, untoasted. Where's the effort? The search continues...

I am a BBQ junkie and cook off competitor from Memphis so to me this entire areas BBQ is sad and under cooked. This is the best around Columbus hands down. BBQ is better cooked than most and flavored nicely. Good selection of sauces and home cooked veggies. Best in town with Clearwater a good second.
