A tradition anywhere-but do come here for that greasy diner fix as it's required in the South. This one can be kind of ..ehhhh- but you still get good food, relatively fast and what you expect. I've never had poor service- may noticed not so good hygiene and health code violations but to me if you end up here, this is not your "night out" on the town. Good eggs, bacon, breakfast sandwiches and burgers are melts are good to. If you order a steak here- you deserve to order a steak here. This is hangover heaven, always will be and gotta play the juke box when you're scarfing hash browns smother covered, chunked, diced and 2 fried eggs with grits Hit the spot. Want a true breakfast and no hangover- got to Pappa Jacks. These are not competitors. Papa Jacks is true southern cooking at its finest. Waffle House is Waffle house. You know what to expect and to me- I love it!

Every time I go here I say it's the last time. I'm leaving this review because for the first time in a long time I visited this location and something didn't go wrong. I've probably had my order screwed up or experienced bad service 6 or 7 times in a row over the past 5 years. I've made it a habit to drive further to go to a different waffle house. Hopefully my last visit was a sign of good things to come.

Disgusting! This is the dirtiest and slowest Waffle House in the area. Tonight was the LAST time I will come here. It's been awhile due to a roach incident last time I was here (2 tiny ones crawling on the back of my booth). Tonight there was a good sized one on the table coming out from between the napkin holder and salt. Ewwwww! Nasty. I couldn't finish my steak. I was out. Never again at this location. Try the one on Nelson Brogdon across from IHOP or the one next to Hardee's on Buford Hwy. This staff on Friendship just does not care that it's disgusting, dirty, and roach infested.

Very nice staff. Clean. Food is great. I love the $5 menu. Everything tastes fresh. Staff is attentive. Bathrooms are clean. Child friendly.

Best Waffle House! A tradition in my (small - wife and two cats) family is to stop at the Waffle House for some noms before hitting the lake (just us - the cats don't like water and would probably not like boats). We go often to the lake, which means we go often to this waffle house. It's clearly marked and visible, located across the street from Publix on Friendship Road. The staff are among the nicest and most attentive I have experienced at Waffle House, and that says a lot given how nice and attentive most Waffle House employees are. They have fun with their patrons, learning their habits and personalities, so that you truly feel welcome. At one point my wife and I and some of our friends were pictured on their cork-board display, along with a host of other regulars. The store is always clean, the food is always great, and we always have a nice time at this particular Waffle House. 5-stars, because this is as good as it gets at the Waffle House.
