Came here with the family blindly (at wife's request to not check yelp.) the look and feel of the place is nice and is a cross between a modern Mexican restaurant and a sports bar. The dinning room was a little warm. The chips tasted okay, but the red seasoning offered no flavor and the salsa was total a fail. My wife suggested that the red stuff on the chips is to get you eating more in hopes you will find one with actual flavor. We finished them and never found it. We ordered the chicken fajita nacho's and the carne asada. Only to find out a few minutes after ordering we were told that they were completely out of steak for all dishes. I substituted with the combo which included a chicken burrito, chicken poblano and a tamale. The nacho's were not all that great. guacamole tasted odd and the cheese was very watery. Chicken was well seasoned and the peppers and onions were fresh. The chicken poblano was five stars! Really great flavor and was best poblano I have in a long time. The chicken burrito was just okay and when I asked if there was a sauce I could have besides ranchero she offered queso (which we found at the end is a dollar extra. Would have been nice to have known when being offered that) the tamale was pretty flavorful, but the rice tasted pretty bad. Overall this place looks nice and has good poblano peppers, but I will more than likely not return.

This place gave me food poisoning. Avoid at all costs, unless of course you like stomach cramps and diarrhea with your Mexican food.

4.99 lunch specials!!!!! Awesome!! They have the best pablano peppers! They don't fry them so they are very nice!! Enchiladas are good, rice and beans are good! The Cuban was a little dry and different, but ok.. The service was fantastic! We where in and out in 30 mins. We will return!

Wow, the flavor was amazing! I tried to fault but it was difficult. The closest I can come to something that needs improvement is their salsa. I think if it had a tad more onion and cilantro it would taste a bit fresher. I had a cheese enchilada, hard beef taco and a chicken pablano chili pepper. They were all great. The chicken chile pablano surprised me at how good it was. Service was great too.

We wanted Mexican, so decided to try this out. Greeted nicely at the door and seated promptly. The waiter was very polite and prompt, explained the specials and suggestions. I ordered the burrito supreme, while my wife ordered the beef nachos. The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated with plenty of televisions for sporting events. My burrito was very good and my wife stated that her nachos were some of the best that she had eaten in a long time. Good service, good food, good atmosphere!

We loved the atmosphere and the cheese dip, but the food was awful. Me and my girlfriend ordered the fajitas for two. The rice was hard and dry. The shrimp was burnt and the chicken had no flavor. Our steak was really chewy. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because the service was really friendly and our kids loved it. I will give them one more chance. They mentioned that they have salsa dancing lessons on Fridays. Im going to definitely check that out.

The interior of the restaurant is very nice great service. I ordered an ultimate dip, the dip was very watery it was more like a soup, the food could have been better. But all in all it was okay. Its a good place for lunch but not dinner. P.s the tortilla tasted like it was microwaved they were soggy.

I liked the restaurant and the service. The food on the other hand was just okay. Today was Sunday Brunch. I had the Mexican Omelette, a friend of mine had the Fajita Omelette and another had steak & eggs. All were served with Texas Toast & seasoned fries. The omelettes were cold & the steak was chewy (per my friend). The toast was not Texas toast & the fries were not seasoned. I am sure the food would of been better if it had came out hot & served as described in the menu. The brunch is not like your typical brunch. There is no omelette station and no tables with fruit, breads or juices. Just menu items. The price was not reasonable for what I would consider a brunch.

We stop for lunch when we are nearby and it had been a few months since our last meal there. I need to remember to come more often! I love their food and I've tried four different items over time. The margaritas are delish. The salsa is fresh and I love that their food doesn't taste like every other Mexican restaurant in the area. Unique flavors and friendly service make it a repeat stop for us!

Decided to check this place out after seeing a sign for 4.99 lunch special. Everything was good and had great flavor. They have daily specials and all you can eat wings on Thursday plus kids eat free during the week. The staff was really friendly and tho decor was impressive.

There was nothing that great about this place. Last Friday I went here for dinner with my family. It was GROSS! The chips were bland, the salsa was chunky, they were stingy with the fajitas, the beans tasted like they came out of a can (they probably did), and the tacos were greasy! I'm sorry, but this place needs to make some HUGE improvements before I can give a review of 3 or more stars.

The atmosphere was great. The service was excellent. The chicken chimichanga was scrumptious and served piping hot. $2 drafts on Thursday.

A few months ago I was very disappointed in Fuego after their move from the Mall of Georgia to their new location near Buford City Hall. At the time of my previous visit everything had been overcooked and dry, however this time, we had three very good meals. It was a client meal that was going to go somewhere else, but we ended up here quite by chance. I went with the Chicken Tortilla Salad which was quite good, chicken was moist and tender and overall, it was a very fresh salad. My client went with the salmon salad and she very much enjoyed it. Said the salmon was flavorful. My colleague went with the Taco Salad and said it was quite good. Whatever has happened since my last visit has been for the better. This was a very good lunch meal and an excellent space to have a business conversation.

GREAT MEAL! Just left Fuego in Buford Village completely satisfied. We ordered the sampler appetizer which I would highly recommend. There's a little of everything with the beef nachos being the center piece for good reason ... the seasoning on the beef is awesome! We ordered Fajitas with shrimp, steak and chicken which came out sizzling with the peppers and onions cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the kabobs, and couldn't say enough about how good they were. Shrimp, steak and veggies, all in sizzling in cheese. The margaritas were outstanding. Perfect mix. Generous on the tequila. We had ours on the rocks with salt. The only not-so-great part was the refried beans which just tasted kind of weird to me. Too sweet. I would highly recommend you try Fuego in Buford Village!

Unfortunately I can't rate the food because we were never served. We arrived early to a concert going on across the street and hoped eat and drink prior to heading over. We were seated quickly but you could tell they were understaffed (management problem). We had to wait 15 minutes just to get salsa at our table. I finally got fed up of waiting to get a drink that I approached the bartender and was told I couldn't order a drink from him because I was seated at a table. We finally paid the bill for drinks that finally came and ended up walking down to DQ. Very disappointed!!

I hate to say this but it was the worst Mexican food I have ever had. Everything was really salty and all of it was cold. Like it had been sitting a long time. The food wasn't even warm. One of my friends at the table asked for hers to be reheated and when it was brought out it was still cold. I let them through part of my meal away and ate something at home. The restaurant was not busy. we were the only table when we got there and only 2 more came in while we were there so it wasn't like they were busy. I would never go back to this restaurant.

Great service, great food! Order the carnitas. Margarita's are great too. My favorite is the Texas on the rocks. Be sure to ask for house-made hot sauce, its truly hot and full of flavor! Great place!

Place is a joke. 4 of us went last month before 38 special concert across street. One table full in dining room, waited 10 min. with oblivious hostesses, finally asked if there was wait only to be seated to wait 10 more minutes with no drink order...left, wasn't going to say anything until one foot out of door one of the mgrs. said, "I hope you enjoyed your meal!" I 'm sure the food would have been good but slow service is the understatement of the year.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
