Asia Grill And Buffett Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

This review is really geared towards the hibachi section of the restaurant. I'm allergic to shellfish, so when all of the "pick your own plate" hibachi lines have shrimp on the menu, of course customers pile it on their plates. Unlike other restaurants, the chef here put my contents off to a corner, making sure to scrape it clean first, and then used extra cookware for me, just to keep any of the shrimp juice away. The actual buffet itself is clean, and stacked with your common items (orange chicken, spring rolls random slices of pizza, etc, etc), but again, this review was more about the customer service in the hibachi area than anything else, and Grand Slam did right by me on my visit. If i'm ever in the area again, i'll be back.

I travel the east coast for work and obviously eat out A LOT, so that said I'm extremely picky about where I eat, the food and the service. This place ROCKS for a Chinese buffet and can't understand what all the negative reviews are about on here. The service was first class and I was checked on frequently during the dinner rush. I was even given a sweet tea to go! The food on the buffets is fantastic and all was fresh, and 3 employees said goodbye to me on the way out. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone...

3.5 overall. The food itself wasn't all that. The variety is there but not the flavors. I've had better at the other Asian buffet that I frequently visit, Hibachi Grill in Norcross. The sushi was good. The service is excellent. I've never had better service ever at any Asian buffet. If you read my other reviews, I have a pet peeve at Asian restaurants about my water being re-fill because I literally have to beg and remind them for water. Not at Asia Grill and Buffet! I'm impress because not only did my water get re-filled once, it got re-filled twice! They were very accommodating for my family to go eat there since we had a large group and a crying toddler.

You don't expect quality of foods when it comes to Chinese buffets. One strong point of this place is that there's no waiting line even on weekends. When you go to Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet, which offers similar items on Jimmy Carter Blvd, you better be ready to wait for 10 minutes always. Eww... I just saw the sushiman coughing in front of the food he was preparing.

Lol. Ew. It's a good choice if you want cheap food that all tastes the same. Best thing about this buffet is the attractive waitresses who don't speak a lick of English. Honestly if you give this place more then a single star, do us all a favor and remove yourself from leaving reviews of restaurants because you obviously have no idea what real food is.

Shopping @ nearby Mall of Georgia and worked up an appetite? Just bought a car at one of the dealerships and need an affordable meal after signing your life away? Or just looking for a good Asian buffet in the Buford area? Well, the Asia Grill is a great choice as far as buffets go. I typically wouldn't write a review about a buffet because let's face it, most have a variety of quality and consistency issues. One thing I really appreciated was the fact that someone was ALWAYS tending to the multiple buffet islands. They were either being cleaned, stirred or replenished every 5 or 10 minutes. The servers stand surveying the dining area like iRobot Centurions that are activated whenever you run low on a drink, leave to get a new plate or in any way look like you need help. HIGHLIGHTS * Hibachi Grill - a great value all by itself * Extremely clean - like lick the counters clean * Huge variety of foods - way more than I had room in my belly to sample * Reasonably priced - in a world of $10 burger meals, this is a steal of a deal * Great service - they really take care of you to be just a buffet * Friendly owner - Ask him about his in-laws... he'll have you laughing THE VERDICT I would rate everything I sampled from decent to pretty dang good. However, if I hadn't already made a huge plate from the buffet, I would have went back for seconds and maybe thirds @ the hibachi grill where you pick all your own ingredients. Just hand your selections to the chef and he will work his grill magic. You have your choice of several flavored sauces the chef will use in preparing your order (I chose the garlic teriyaki). I REALLY enjoyed my Hibachi Grill meal, far more than anything I sampled from the buffet. The grill alone is worthy of many future visits. In my opinion the food is above average for a buffet and coupled with all the highlights I mentioned above, it is an excellent value. I would definitely recommend dining here.

Great food!! Best Crab Rangoons I've had in my LIFE I am Chinese and very picky about my Asian food. It's very authentic here, everything is delicious! Excellent desserts!! Not cheap stuff like most buffets! Best part is the price is awesome!!

Nice looking place, clean, hot food. Lacking in certain staple items you would expect. There were no crab legs at the buffet. There were some tiny "salted crab" portions, but they were so small you could not get any meat off them. Their "butter crab sticks" were slimy and fake. They even had a nasty shrimp dish covered in ranch sauce. The crab Rangoon was awesome here, as was the fried rice. They also lacked the sauteed string beans in garlic. How does a Chinese buffet not have crab legs and string beans?

If you need to slum it and go buffet style, then this place shouldn't disappoint. The sushi was refrigerated and the rice in it was a bit stiff, but they offered nigiri (yay) along with the typical deep fried and mayo laden weird rolls (never even thought of in Japan)that you will find on a sushi buffet. They offer hibachi services if you wish to pick your meats and veggies. I really enjoyed the non-fried item of "onion shrimp" which was very tasty and sautéed. Overall, a decent place for a buffet experience but wear your stretchy pants or maternity jeans since you will want to try a bunch of artery clogging treats and soy sauce.

A pretty good Asian buffet and hibachi near the Mall of Georgia. Food is delish and somewhat fresh (when it first comes out). Love the various assortments of dishes available. Especially the icecream, there are more choices you can make compared to other Asian buffet. Service was friendly and I had a great experience. The only cons would be the fact that there are some things missing from a normal Asian buffet: the crabs, crawfish, and etc. But they do have everything else, just slightly disappointed with the seafood available. However, considering the price, then it's a good buffet. Will be coming back.

I was doing some shopping at Mall Of Georgia and the first chinese buffet place we spotted was this place so we decided to stop and give it a try. We were really impressed with the cleanliness of the place and also the large number of choices we had. Chinese buffets usually have awful sushi but the sushi here was pretty good! Plus, the food was great too. The place seemed pretty busy and the dishes on the buffet were never empty. The crab ragoon was amazing (must try!)! The orange chicken was great too! The dessert bar was also better than most chinese places. A lot of the times, you just get those little square cakes and pudding. This has that but also has ice cream, large cake slices, and more to offer. Was about $13 per person (includes soda) so pretty reasonable. We will be back!

This location must be cursed. First it was a Ryan's then its a seafood buffet/Chinese and now its Asia Grill Buffet. I mean its the only Chinese buffet now in the area so it was packed. We went in on a sunday night and it was only 8$ and some change for a person but it was lacking in alot of stuff. Like no crawfish...oysters...those kind of stuff that other Chinese buffet used to have even with 9$ a person. I was greatly disappointed and won't come back.

Very good value for the dollar! We were very late for dinner and arrived at 9:30 pm. The staff, even though they were trying to clean up and get ready to go, was very polite and helpful. Food was a little dried out because it had been out for awhile but still very tasty. Sushi was wonderful! My wife had her food cooked on the hibachi and it was very good also. We are planning to return at an earlier time when next we dine here.

Food is hot and fresh! Black pepper chicken is one of my favorites! Lots of variety. For 6.00 for lunch and 9.00 for dinner in this economy you can not beet it.

At $9 plus change, it's a good buffet. My wife loves mussels and she had her share. Salt and pepper squid was very good, especially when it's hot out of the kitchen. There wasn't any baked or broiled fish, other than some salmon I think, but I'd go back. Did not try the sushi. Pretty good selection of deserts, although the ice cream selection could have been better. Good service also.

After seeing all of the reviews for this place my family and I decided to go yesterday. Let's start with some good...the price is very cheap! It's $10 for adults and $6 for kids. The six of us original bill was $44 (my 2yr old ate for free). The sushi bar was great! They have a good variety that's not just the typical simple rolls you may find at most cold bars. Now folks, that ends my good. They have a health score of an 81 (which may be ok for some, but I'm a score snob...I like my restaurants passing with A's). The bar, while they have a big selection, they leave the food out for very long and don't "refresh" the dishes very often which means most of the chicken was hard and picked over and it was small amounts of scraps left. NOTHING was fresh (except the sushi and obviously the hibachi made to order options). Our "server" was THE MOST RUDE person (I really wanna use another word) I've ever had wait on me. She never spoke to us and acted like it was KILLING her to have to clean up our old plates! And before you say she may have had a bad day, NO. She was smiling and joking with the Hispanic family behind us the entire time. So it was just us. I don't even know her name to tell you all to avoid her because she never gave it to us. We asked her for another water (she didn't bring one for my son) and she didn't hear/understand us the first time so we asked again and she said "well do you want water or do you want me to bring you soup and you can drink that" and walked off....WTF does that even mean!? Then she didn't bring a straw so we motioned her back over and asked for one, she literally stood there and counted all of the straws on the table as if we were lying that we needed another one and like straws are the holy grail or something! I feel like she stereotyped my family and treated us like we weren't worthy of good service because of the stupid "black people don't tip well" myth (my husband was a server for 15yrs and I know that's how a lot of servers think) but BECAUSE of his years of waiting tables, we ALWAYS tip GREAT. I can't lie though, we only tipped her $5 because if the TERRIBLE attitude and treatment we received. The icing on the "bad" cake came in the form of a black dead spider found in my daughter's strawberry ice cream. Thank goodness she pays attention to her food while she eats because she was almost done when she realized it was in there as she started to finish her bowl off. DISGUSTING. The manager (?) acted as if he couldn't believe that a spider could possibly be in the "cold ice cream" even when the proof was right in his face. He said they don't make the ice cream and it's shipped in. Who cares! There's a freakin big black dead spider in my child's freakin ice cream!!! And who knows how many more are in those tubs! He did comp our meal 20%. If it weren't for the service, the score, and the insect ice cream toppings, I would go back here for the sushi alone. I didn't even get to try the hibachi because I was completely DONE after spidergate. Eat here at your own risk.

The food was old and picked over. Not once did the staff replenish the food or even take attention to the empty trays of food on the buffet. The staff was less than friendly and seemed bothered that we were eating at their restaurant. We will never eat there again. Huge disappointment!

Very disappointed. My husband and I decided to "try it out" since we didn't have the children with us. I was wanting sushi and he was wanting Chinese... The only two items I cared for were the crab rangoons and the black pepper chicken. the egg and spring rolls were both surprisingly sour and almost fishy. The California rolls were decent (not much to them) but the other items were definitely sub-par. In fact one of them I was not able to eat and a fried roll when cut in half was gray inside. I wasn't about to put that in my mouth. I didn't go in expecting shogun quality sushi... But I did hope for more than a Cali roll. My husband tried one of everything off the sushi and has been quite sick to his stomach this evening... We will never return. Between the poor quality of the food and the very rude host who played with her finger nails when ringing us out the whole evening left a lot to be desired. What a shame. Another failure waiting to happen in this location.
