Piano bar. Need I say more. The service, the food, the piano man...all amazing. Me and my boyfriend went here for my birthday. We got there around 7, when the piano man starts. We wound up staying until 10 when he finished. I had such an amazing time!!! :) My boyfriend had the Gorgonzola crusted filet...the most amazing piece of beefy artwork i've every had. I had the chicken diavolo and wanted to send it back to get the filet my boyfriend had. Nothing compares. We shared the crab stew and crab cakes which were both amazing. The most amazing part was when we were done with dinner we were invited to sit AT the piano to sing and request songs. It was so amazing, it was almost like karaoke but better. This was the most amazing birthday dinner i've every had, because of the food and the most amazing experience that I was given at Adam's!

Hands down- we received the worst service I've ever had in a "fine dining" restaurant. This is the first time that I've ever felt so strongly after poor service to go online and leave a review. Our party of 6 met for dinner at 7:00 pm. It should have been a sign that we were the only table in the whole restaurant, but we didn't let it phase us. In hindsight, we should have spared ourselves the headache. A couple of us ordered a bottle of red wine, others ordered a glass of white wine. The bottle was out of stock. Not a big deal, we ordered another. When our waiter came to take our food order, we were told of at least 5 things that were out of stock. After a long wait for food, it finally arrived. One order was completely wrong; chicken was served when she ordered salmon. A random additional salad came to the table, which was delivered to the person who had just finished the identical salad. She passed it to her neighbor, who was now awaiting her salmon. Starving, she just ate whatever was available to her even if no one ordered it. Aside from the waiter over-offering pepper to everyone at our table (some people having to politely decline more than once), dinner was delicious. Overpriced, but delicious. I added chicken to the spinach salad, trying to be semi healthy when eating out. The 2 tenderloins that graced my salad cost me $9. It was a $24 chicken salad. I expected to be charged for adding chicken, but I also expected more than two tenderloins. Every time someone ran out of water, the only way we could get it refilled was to ask. It got so bad that we almost walked over to the server station to get it ourselves. Here's where it got really terrible. It took 45 minutes to pay. 45!! We were clearly on separate checks since we were not coupled off and meeting for a Christmas present exchange, but you would have thought we asked him to do algebra the way he stared at that computer screen for so long. After a long while, he delivered the checks, and announced that he could not split up the bottle of red wine. Fair enough. Each of us received the correct bill for food and individual glasses of white wine. And randomly the bottle of red wine was on the ticket for the person who had a single glass of white wine. The two people who split the wine were more than accommodating, agreeing that one person would pay for the whole bottle and work out the difference between them at a later date. However, he said that it was impossible to move the charge for the bottle to one of their bills. After we finally just decided to give up the battle and have someone pay for a bottle of wine they didn't consume a drop of it, we had to sit there and wait for him to come process our payment. At 9:30pm, 2 and a half hours later, we just wanted this to end. Vowing never to go back, we left. My receipt says that Charles H was our waiter. Awful on a monumental scale.

My wife and I tried out Adam's during our first trip to Historic Burford. Ironically we live relatively close but just haven't ventured over there until now. Atmosphere: great, really enjoyed it. They had a gentleman there playing the piano, singing and taking requests. Very nice. Service: again, was great. Place was moderately crowded but server was very attentive to our needs. Bathrooms were very clean. Food: we ordered calamari fritti and it was fresh, slightly under seasoned for my taste but it was good. My wife had butternut squash soup and I had a Caesar salad. Both were very good. For an entree my wife had the Maine scallops with risotto and spinach. She said the scallops were good, fresh and overall good. The side was fantastic. I had the pork tenderloin with nut & apple chutney, served with whipped potatoes and green beans. My entree was good but the pork tenderloin was a little dry. Overall, we enjoyed it and would go back. Great little find in Historic Buford.

Tried this place because I had a scoutmob coupon and was extremely disappointed with everything. We ordered the Gorgonzola steak and the filet and it was cold and over cooked, the meal was something I could have thrown together quickly at home. The servers kept changing and the last one was tweaked out on meth. This place needs alot of work, honestly terrible.

I have been a patron of Adams for a while now and have gone for the music and sometimes dinner. This time I went for dinner. They had a table right up front and I asked for it and they said it was reserved. It stayed empty for an hour. They stuck us back in the corner back by the waste pole. Nice huh? The restaurant is nicely done with black tablecloths but they put paper over them like we are about to eat crabs. You fight with the paper the whole time you are dining. The food is good but the coffee is awful. Left over from yesterday and week I guess. I love the piano and the artist singing has been there for a while and I enjoy it. They have him piped in through speakers in the restaurant and they have him up so loud that I could not even have a conversation with my dining partner. I am not usually one to complain but I was highly disappointed. The bill came and I could not believe their wine prices. On the way out the owner asked if we enjoyed our meal. I held back and decided to write it out for him and all to read. Probably won't go back. Another nice restaurant is next door with a piano also.

This is an amazing find downtown Buford. What pulls it all together is the piano bar every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The food was spot on, and the service was great. All this rolled into one is hard to find. The set up of the restaurant is well thought out, very impressed. This is a must for dinner, date night, or a small groups. They are open for lunch, but I don't think you would fine the mood setting quite as good as the night lights.

We absolutely enjoyed our first evening at Adams's. The food is fantastic and more than enough. The wait staff treated us like regulars. The pianist kept us there until closing time and we made several new friends! HIghly recommend!
Great food, great service, and the entertainment was excellent. I started with the she-crab soup that was an excellent start to the dinner. My wife had the spinach salad and enjoyed it. My entree was the special of the night, sea bass, it was the first time I had that type of fish. I truly enjoyed it, halibut is my favorite, and it is similar, very well prepared and juicy. My wife had a rib eye that was enormous. The waitress was attentive and friendly and we even met the owner. The restaurant is pricey, but with the entertainment of the piano bar and quality of food, it really is a bargain as a night out. I would try to sit near the piano as the pianist will engage you and he is quite comical. My wife and I will definitely return.

My favorite place around. For food, drinks, or entertainment. It always fits. Tish the bartender is the best. And Mark, the piano man, is fabulous. I always recommend them to friends.

I wish that I could give this 3 1/2 stars, as the only downside was the "so-so" of the food. Everything else was great. We were looking for a romantic, candlelit restaurant and this fit the bill. Our server was very pleasant and attentive and we went downstairs after dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the piano bar atmosphere...Mark was great and extremely talented. The menu sounded interesting and appealing, but my disappointment began when I ordered the rack of lamb and was told at 7 p.m. on a Saturday night that they had already run out of the lamb. The bread and three butters, brought out before our meal, was tasty, but the beef shoulder filet that I had and the seafood platter that my companion had were only okay. The potato gratin was extremely cheesy....only for true lovers of robust cheese flavor. Overall, our evening was a pleasant one, especially when we topped it off with a nightcap and listening to Mark at the piano bar. If they could ramp up the taste of the food a bit, it would have made for a perfect evening.

Lunch: November 17, 2011 This is a lovely restaurant run by a very gracious couple. Our waiter was a funny, entertaining fellow from Philadelphia who was also attentive to our needs. I had the most amazing she-crab soup! Better than Charleston! Wonderful crab-filled soup with bits of veggies and finished with sherry. Oh so good! Along with the soup, I had bruchetta with fresh tomatoes, Kalamata olives and fresh basil Desert was a ridiculously good creme brulee .Excellent coffee. Lovely presentation in a inviting atmosphere. Worth the drive from ATL or on the way to Lake Lanier and points North.

My husband and our good friends visited Adams for the third time. The first two experiences were quite nice which is why I was shocked at the overall experience on 1/7/12. We had to wait fifteen minutes to place a drink order, which took 10 minutes to fill. Our entrees arrived, and three of us were extremely dissapointed. I had ordered pork tenderloin, it was extremely dry and overcooked, the mashed potatoes were not just cool, but ice cold. My husband ordered lamb for $30 something dollars and he received two extremely small pieces of lamb, his potatoes were also ice cold. Our friend ordered a medium well steak, it was very rare and also her potatoes were ice cold. Our waitress said she would bring us new potatoes but when she asked the chef he told her we had to turn in our entire plates which quite honestly felt like an intimidation move on the chef's part. We sheepishly gave all our plates back and she returned 10 minutes later with hot potatoes on the plate but the meats had all dried out. It was so bizzare it was funny. At this point we had been there 3 hours and just wanted to leave. The waitress had too many tables, that was obvious, the couple next to us ordered an appetizer and called her back to take it away after talking to us about our experience and they left. Too bad, this has great atmosphere and the piano is so beautiful. We eat in Buford often as it is halfway between our houses but we will not give Adams another chance. It was obvious the chef was calling the shots that night and did not care at all about customer service.

Probably will go back, mainly for the piano bar music. New to the area and want to try out the other places on Main St. The food was good. I had Trout, my. wife had scallops. The trout was amazing. The Fried Green Tomatoes also were great. I ordered an Old Fashion, just because, I guess. For $10 I was disappointed. I would have felt the same it were $5 Wines were good and a good pour. The Port selection is limited. The piano player was great, playing music of the '70's and 60's while we there; our style. I wish the waitress had been more involved or would have engaged with us. Nothing bad, just nothing exceptional. Lively spot.

Gave this place another chance because I am a sucker for piano bars. We were immediately greeted by the manager who seated us immediately. Our service was 100xs better than our last experience thanks to our server Donald. He was always available and our drinks were never empty. The food is still pretty average but the pricing won't put too much of a dent in your wallet. I ordered the blue cheese crusted filet without realizing it had blue cheese on it.... Blue cheese to me tastes how farts smell but I didn't even notice it on my steak. It was very good and the size and price of $28 was reasonable. I would def go back again and would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to look fancy and have good light live music in the background

Ordered a bowl of soup and got a half cup of soup instead. The lamb ribs are half the portion size of Luna's in Gainesville. The piano music was great, but the place was so loud, it kind of ruined the live music. The escargot was too lemony but not aweful. And don't sit at the window tables, unless ur wearing SPF 50 suntanning lotion. And I'm surprised Red Bull and vodka is so hard to find around most bars lately. And, the worst part of the dining experience was having to dodge the beggar at the parking lot. I won't go back there because of it.... it made me very uncomfortable because I had to leave the restaurant several times to see if my car was being messed with by the old bum. I hate beggars, hence the reason I'll never go back to Cancun, Mexico. And, I have also stopped going to several of the downtown Atlanta establishments because it has gotten so bad down there.

Was a little leery to try this place after reading some reviews about health scores but decided to throw caution to the wind hoping that they improved. While I can't say if the kitchen is any cleaner, the experience overall was a very good one. The atmosphere is wonderful and the room is inviting. The entertainment at the piano was excellent and he did a great job involving the whole room. The service was also a bright spot as everyone was friendly and efficient. I ordered the filet mignon and it was delicious and cooked spot on. The only minor annoyance was when a group of older and I'm guessing part of the regular Buford social elite crowd walked in and began to sit in my girlfriends barstool while she was in the bathroom. Almost comical to watch the lack of social graces unfold as he finally asked if someone was sitting there. "Uh sir, the full plate of food and wine is typically a dead giveaway". Was I a dick?.....sure, a bit...but come on, who does that? Bottom line, if ever in the area again, I would definitely go back.

Another disappointment. So sad. We had a Valentine's Day reservation (Yes, and I'm just now reviewing). Instead of being near the piano, they ushered us to the basement (WHAT???). It looked like their storage area. Musty, way too dark and just sad. Way to ruin our Valentine's Day. My husband and I have 2 kids. We never get date nights. We tried to make the best of it. We had cold food (buffet style), and live singers that were awful. Don't think we'll be back here, either.

Worst restaurant experience ever. Sent back four out of six entrees for being stone cold. The other two in our party was so hungry they ate theirs. Also got order wrong and reheated food was then given back to the wrong people. When I didn't want someone else's food the server didn't understand. When I was explaining to owners wife the issues she ignored me, laughed and spoke disrespectfully to someone else in our party. Owner tried to stiff us for the whole bill. No concept of customer service. The owner was intoxicated which explains a lot. Avoid unless you like being insulted. If you complain be prepared to be told that you are being disrespectful. At $400 for 6 people I expect good food and service. Not here.

Terrible, horrible experience. Of course I can't rate the food separately...I wish I could. If I could have tasted the food at all I'm sure it would have been delicious! So the story goes. We booked a week in advance for Valentines dinner @ 8:30. We arrived right on time. This was our third visit. The first two experiences were at least a four star. But this one was so bad it outweighed the good. The hostess asked for our name, so we gave it. She then brought us down in the basement. Not what we were expecting. No ambiance and no piano for starters. Then we realized that the menus were photo copied seconds. In other words, a completely different menu on a ragged piece of paper. Ok, not so romantic anymore. Then our waiter came to get our drink order but first brought us water. The water was practically lemonade. Me, nor my Wife does lemon water. Then the "live" music started playing. We could handle this. Nope. Think again. She started screaming. Please stop you are hurting our ears. When our waitress came back to the table we asked if we could move upstairs because that is not what we booked. He said he would check on that. That was just a sorry excuse to pass the ball to the manager--let him deal with it. The manager came to the table and asked us if everything was ok; He knew sure as you-know-what that it wasn't ok. He then politely apologized and told us that they were completely booked and "had no tables upstairs." We decided to leave so we went back upstairs on the way out the door. We booked upstairs dining, with live piano music, with a menu we didn't have, with lemon water we didn't order but to ruin the evening Me and my wife spotted two tables open upstairs--a lying owner and manager. We will never be back. If I could rate the food separately it would be four. But I can't. In summation the experience was overall TERRIBLE.

Went to Adam's and really enjoyed it. Ordered a wonderful dish called Chicken Diavolo. Grilled chicken, sauteed mushrooms, and penne patsa with a great, thick sauce. Trout Almondine was also served and looked really great(guys, don't get it from Carolina, get it from Georgia!). Dessert was a wonderful chocolate mousse with an Oreo/walnut crunch and whipped cream. Impressed with our service, expertly taken care of by the lovely Julia. I like the look of the place and they also have a speakeasy downstairs which has live music and singing. No one sings better than Monica Spears, so if you ever get to see her there, don't miss it. I must apologize for the lack of pictures, as I was distracted.......

My wife took me here for my birthday. We had a short wait for a table. We started by ordering two glasses of wine. About 25 minutes later the wine arrived. (A bit of a wait I'd say). I ordered the scallops, and my wife ordered some mixed seafood dish. 20 minutes later the waitress came back and said "we are out of scallops, just ran out!" I asked her to give me a moment to order something else on the menu. She came back another 20 minutes later (We have now been at the restaurant for over an hour!). I ordered a Salmon dish. About 30 minutes later she came back with 2 of the seafood combination dishes that my wife ordered. I pointed out that I ordered the Salmon. She said "It's the cooks fault. he messed it up" and walked away without even offering to replace it. Well, I was hungry enough that I ate it. (It was good, but a very small portion. It also contained risotto, which I don't like). We didn't see our server again until we were ready to leave, so I'm glad I didn't wait for her to return to replace it. On our way out, I noticed a sign that had some specials, including a Chilean Sea Bass. Had the server pointed out that there were specials, I would have ordered the Sea Bass. Had many good meals here in the past. Maybe I'll try again, but not anytime soon. It's a shame because it's a beautiful place. I would have given it two stars due to the atmosphere and the nice piano bar theme they had, but they frustrated my wife and I on a special night, so one-star only.

I used to absolutely adore this place. I would go Thursday nights and enjoy the man playing the piano and serenading to the audience in a Billy Joel style while having wonderful martinis made by the bartender. The staff is very friendly and even went over and beyond for a date I had there. I give this review two stars because my most recent experience. I've sent plenty of customers here, my coworkers come here, and I've spent a pretty penny here. A few weeks ago a group of friends and I went for a Thursday night rendezvous and had fun. The piano player was funny as always. The night ended, but my friend simply left his I.d. there so we had to turn around to get it. Mind you, we were only maybe a few minutes down the road. We get to the bar and the owner, yes the owner, storms out screaming at me along with my friend. Accusing us of being in our car across the street "messing" with him. When I say yelling too, I mean angry yelling. No owner should treat a customer like this, even bad customers. We apologized and had to calm his down until he returned the I.d and walked off without an apology. I'm still very distraught by this and will not return or recommend this restaurant anymore. The experience showed me he clearly does not care about his customers.

Love the atmosphere. The bar is absolutely beautiful and the drinks are great. Everytime I've been here the live music has always been on point. I love it when there's a group singing along and eventually if a popular song is played (ahem Journey), you might even get the whole restaurant to chime in. Asides from that, my table of four weren't as much in love with our food. I got the scallops and thought they lacked a good sear and flavor. Everyone unanimously agreed the food was better a few steps down the road at Aqua Terra. Service was a bit scattered as well. But given how busy it was, I wasn't as annoyed by it because our server was honestly busting her ass. The food was just really lackluster. I would return for drinks and a good time around the piano.

The atmosphere is very nice. I have eaten at Adam's at least 6 times now. I have tried the pork tenderloin, roasted chicken, Chicken Diavolo, Atlantic Salmon, Cape Cod Diver Scallops, and the Beef Shoulder Filet. I have never had a bad meal at Adams. Every thing has been very fresh nothing dry or tasted as if it was on the warmer... The service was great. They new the menu and could explain it beautifully! This is a place to try. Last time we went in they opened something they call the Speakeasy.. They had a nice band playing so after dinner we went down for a nice evening dancing and listening to music. Love this place.

My fiance took me here for Valentine's Day the other night. This place is located in historic Buford next to Sperata. They were having a special that night for Valentine's Day, 4 course meals for $59 which isn't bad at all. The food here was ok, the ambiance and service was great. The food- Everything was presented beautifully (see pics) but the taste of everything was just "ok". The ribeye and filet were very tender. I really liked the complimentary rolls and the 3 different spreads that came with it. Yum! The drinks- Delicious! I tried their "Tommy Gun" martini. It was very smooth, tasty and strong. The ambiance- Good. They had a man playing the piano and singing. The singing was pitchy at times but still good. The service- Our waiter was nice and attentive.

The wine prices were higher than in Atlanta. The food was ok but don't expect to talk during dinner because the piano man, while engaging, requires you to shout to be heard. Fine dining this isn't. With tip if you drink wine expect to pay in excess of $125 for two. Go for the singing not the food. Otherwise you may be very disappointed and out a bunch of cash.

My boyfriend and I decided to go to Adam's for our Valentine's Day dinner this past Saturday since we go there regularly for drinks. Overall, we had a disappointing experience. There is some clear lack in management. We made reservations for 7:30pm but arrived at 7:15pm. There was one couple in line in front of us at the hostess table. It literally took 15 minutes for her to get to us which was annoying. Then, they didn't have a table ready for us even though they had just seated the couple ahead of us. So she told us that we could wait at the bar while she bussed and set a table for us. The bar is by far the most endearing quality Adam's has. We had friendly and attentive bartenders, even though the place was crowded. I wish I could say the same thing for the rest of our meal. Finally the hostess came to get us at the bar and sat us at a table literally next to the front door. It was so cold every time someone opened the door... not exactly the romantic atmosphere we had hoped for. Our waitress, who clearly had too many tables to cater to, finally came and got our order and brought us some water after about 10 minutes. I will say that the food came out in a timely matter and was overall decent until we got our entrees. We got the calamari fritti and spinach salad and they were both very good. For entrees I got the filet with mashed potatoes and green beans and my date got the trout with the same sides. THE POTATOES WERE SO SALTY WE COULD BARELY EAT THEM! Considering everything else was cooked to near perfection, this was extremely disappointing. then our waitress never came by again until we were practically finished. with the general delays throughout the evening, and it being past 9pm at that point, we didn't even bother to complain because we just wanted to get out of there. I guess what I'm saying is, the service and food quality is not worth the pretty penny you are going to pay. go to Aqua Terra a few doors down.

I can't comment on the food, but we loved the atmosphere at the piano bar. The live music was good and it was an entertaining show. We were disappointed in the limited selection of wine by the glass. There are many more choices in the wines by the bottle but the price of our choice was very inflated so we passed.

After a fantastic dining experience on April 26, my husband and I chose to return on May 10 with our "dinner club" of 4 couples. We made reservations for dinner at 7:00. Sean called my husband early in the week to confirm the time and number in the party and our request for a waiter. When we arrived, we were told that our reservation was at 6:00, and was not available when we arrived at 6:50! We were quite upset, but our party of eight was seated! This was just the beginning of a terrible evening. When our waiter finally took our drink order (after being seated for at least 15 minutes), we received our drinks 45 minutes later, and they were delivered one drink at a time????After more complaints, we finally ordered (we had to request bread and more water). After waiting at least another 30 minutes, our appetizers began appearing. Once again, one person at a time. We wondered if there was a shortage of trays since our waiter only brought one item at a time. When my husband complained to the manager, yet another time, he was told that they were serving over 200 people. Their problem, but not ours!!! One excuse was made after another: new bar staff; someone took the salad one in our party ordered; the chef was "new", etc. I will say that our food was excellent! What a shame such poor service, and lack of concern on the manager's part, ruined what should have been a nice evening out.

I have NEVER posted on yelp but felt this was a must. If I could give a half star I would...to begin the waitress was rude, the $16 fried lobster appetizer prepared by Sysco foods was burnt, the $20 chicken was dry, and even if I had wanted to test my luck with desert, the waitress didn't offer it. I was very disappointed! Cute place, great location, good music but the WORST food I've had in a long time! A real shame Adam. I really wanted to like your restaurant but won't be back!

Great atmosphere and easy to talk with your dinner guest(s). Apps, entree and dessert was delicious. Recommend you ask for the server, Charlie.
First time here and loved it! I had the Gorgonzola crusted filet and my wife had the salmon. Both were great dishes! Service was great and everyone was having a great time with the piano bar! Be sure to save room for the bread pudding!

I fell in love with this local restaurant. I love the table sitting area near the piano player, it really adds a nice touch to your visit. I not only fell in love with that but with the food and drinks there. Food was so rich and really mouth pleasing. I can def say the best two parts of this place was my Spinach with Walnuts & Blue Cheese Salad and my Chocolate Martini, those two were literally heaven in my mouth.

This was an awesome find! Great food and entertainment! This is an incredible find in downtown Buford and was shocked to find such a place. The food and service rival any in-town fine dining restaurant. I was almost deterred from going due to many of the reviews I read on this site. I am glad I went and will go back again and again. The steak was awesome and prepared perfectly. The entertainment was lively and fun. Buford is blessed to have such and establishment!

Unfortunate all the negative reviews. We live a few miles away and eat here at least twice a month. We've done lunch and dinner. I bring clients, my executive team, and family. It's always excellent. Service is great. People are nice. Piano guy is excellent. Really a favorite all around. We've tried almost everything on the menu and while I have my favorites, everything is really good. Give this place a shot, I think you'll really it.

Despicable!! Treated horribly by Adam himself, the owner. The temperature in the restaurant was unbearably hot. We were told by more than one employee that Adam was too cheap to set the thermostat any lower. Mashed potatoes were undoubtedly instant potatoes from a box.

Good service, good atmosphere and delicious food! The waiter we had was very nice and knowledgeable. He was able to make excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was nice. Very spacious and great live piano music. The food was great. I got the NY strip steak with potato gratin and veggies. I got the mushroom sauce on the side as well. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce was fantastic. The potatoes were also very buttery and tasty. I went with 3 other people and everyone enjoyed their food very much. The prices are also very reasonable and the portions are large. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area!

Worst ladies night we have ever experienced. An hour and 45 minutes passed by before our food was delivered to our table. They were under staffed, our drinks were empty often. Once our food arrived it was dried, we ordered another round of drinks and they still didn't arrive and then the waitress left the serving tray next to us. Very poor experience, the music was great. Very unfortunate. A good place for maybe drinks at the bar to listen to the music but the food was awful and the service even worse.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. Service was horrendous and the owner Adam was a total ass. It took 3+ hours to have dinner and at the end of the night Adam blamed us for their backed up bar, kitchen and horrible service. I do not recommend this place at ALL!!!

The kitchen is absolutely filthy as you can see by their latest inspection by the health department. How an establishment can serve liquor with dead fruit flies in them is just rediculous. See the pics I'm attaching.

I read all the reviews and thought, "yelpers just don't get Buford." Nope, they were right. The place is nice, there's a cool bar and it's got atmosphere for a romantic dinner. The guy playing the piano was great. The service was OK, I usually don't read into "service" comments on reviews, but I must have gotten the same woman. She was less than enthusiastic and frankly I wondered if I did something to upset her. We started with the calamari which was standard (good) fare. We ordered 2 different pasta dishes here and ironically they tasted about the same. My wife's shrimp pasta dish tasted like Kraft's macroni and cheese and my had enough of a hint of marinara that I didn't send it back. We're going to try it one more time and order steak to see if that's better. We did like the atmosphere enough to go here for a dessert after eating at one of the other places.

My husband and I were there a couple of weeks ago and we are now fans! The food and ambiance was wonderful. My only complaint is that our table was off to the side so my husband did not get a view of the piano. I think all tables should have a view of the performance. Other than that it is a wonderful place to go to! We will definitely be back...soon

We went for my birthday. It is a great place to get an awesome meal. We even brought our 3 year old. We sat near the piano in the more casual area. I loved being able to get lobster and filet in a casual atmosphere. You can dress this place up or down and fit in. For the steaks, my husband had NY Strip and I had filet. They both had an amazing flavor that allowed the emphasis to be on the taste of the meat. Had fried lobster (unusual but very yummy treat).

The food, the service and the piano bar.. Adam's has gotten it right! I had the She-Crab Soup and Grilled Atlantic Salmon, both were delicious. The manager and executive chef both came to the table to check on our experience. The chef truly seemed to care if we were enjoying our meal and took time to talk to us. I enjoyed that they had gluten-free, organic options to chose from, as well. Definitely recommend this place for a date, girls night out or anyone passing through.

LOVE this place! It's one of my new faves! The crabcakes are fantastic! We also tried the seafood risotto, trout almandine, wedge salad, and creme brulee. All of it was very yummy! The piano singer is very friendly. He creates a wonderful atmosphere. We will be back!

Stop....think twice, before investing in a restaurant that questions itself. Service was friendly (Thank you, Mary) but the kitchen wasn't. Nothing out of the ordinary, other then the tab; and the manager only made a slight attempt to sooth things over, he was present only in body, not mind. There is no excuse for cold entrees, including the lackadaisical delay to emptiness on a Saturday evening. Piano music was interesting, but other then that, not worth another a visit.

Went here last Sat night. Went to the bar & it took 15 min to ger 2 drinks. We then sat down and ordered pretty quickly and decided to split a wedge salad prior to our entrees. 45 minutes passed and we still hadn't received our salad, even after we had made numerous attempts to flag down our waiter of which he pretth much ignored us. We decided to order another round of drinks and after waiting 15 minutes & still no drinks, we gave up and decided to leave. On our way out we ran into Adam's wife at the host counter. I explained to her what happened and she didn't seem to really care. At that exact moment, we saw our drinks go by and put on our table. She then asked us in as many words if you wanted to pound those drinks before we left & then proceeded to complain about how her bartender had quit and she had to find temporary help and that was the reason for all the delays. Not exactly sure if we'll be back.
I have only been here once and it was for the New Years Eve Buffet 2013. The only thing I can say is it was shockingly awful! We had reservations for the main level which has nice atmosphere and a piano player however when we got there they had nowhere to put us except downstairs in a basement like area clearly for banquets or parties. Absolutely no ambiance. That alone made the dinner unpleasant. Then the buffet food ..... AWFUL ! I think it was about $85 per person and neither my husband or myself liked anything enough to eat. We absolutely left hungry. Wait at the bar for a drink was wayyyyy to long as well. Save yourself the disappointment. There are several other lovely restaurants on that same strip just a few doors down.

After countless choices, five friends and I finally decided to toast in the new year at Adam's, and it was ahuge disappointment. First, we waited 45 minutes past our 8:00 reservation. This could have been overlooked because it was a holiday, if we had a decent experience. Once we were seated, it was one thing after another. We waited for 20 minutes just to get a drink and even loger for refills. The food was bland and pricey (not a good combination). We asked to speak to a manger, but never spoke to one until we attempted to leave. That didn't go well either. She was very rude and unhelpful Overall it was just a horrible experience, bad service, and so so food. Will not visit Adam's ever again.

My husband and I ate here on Tuesday night and liked it so much we went back the next night. He had the NY strip au poivre and I had the gorgonzola filet. His was much better (the filet was good too, but the strip had so much more flavor) so that's what I had the second night. Each time our steaks were cooked to temp perfectly. It was quiet on Tuesday (at about 5pm) but Wed night it was like a different place. There was a piano player/singer and the place was packed. It was a lively, party, noisy atmosphere. The housemade Italian sausage appetizer was tasty, as was the filet skewer app. I am surprised to see it rated only 3 stars but that could be due to inconsistent service. Cocktails, steak, live music, gorgeous building....a great combo.

When your waitress says the seafood soup has "seafood stuff in it" that should of been a sign to leave.

Our first visit with family in from out of town. Service: Jake was our waiter, great young guy from Philly who provided great service with enthusiasm. Eventually, I think he ended up waiting on every table in the restaurant running circles around the rest of the staff. Atmosphere: 5 Star! Comfortable, and just nice. Food: Here is the downfall. Beef tips, scored well Chicken Penne: Pasta was good with flavor. Chicken was baked dry as a rock. Absolutely, well, well, done. Seafood Platters: Fish was fishy, in short not fresh. To many years in the seafood industry for one family member told us this much. Soup: Crab soup was excellent. Desert: I passed after the sub par dinner. Glad I did. Creme Brûlée was terrible. The spouse cracked the burnt sugar topping only to find a layer of raw sugar laying on top of the custard, which was on top another layer of raw sugar. The Apple thing was just that, an apple thing. Bro in law said it had the taste of a Pop Tart with the look of a flat sole of shoe. This place has much potential but it needs a little more organization on food prep. Will have to see a few more reviews before we venture back. With Rico's and Aqua on the same street one needs to be on top of the game all the time. Well, unless your Sperata, then you send someone out to haggle folks to come "have the best food on the block" and bash the other restaurants on the street. Yes, this actually happened to us, how tacky.

(3)Brad J.

(4)Nichole N.
(1)S J.
Not here.
(1)Joseph C.

(1)Ashley S.
(2)Cindy T.
(2)Todd T.

Had lunch there last week, the burger and shrimp poboy were excellant and service was very good.

(3)Gary S.

The staff and service is awful. I actually walk out because we could not get service.

Management??? Where are you???

Had a great dinner. Great server , food was wondering and a speak easy in the basement.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is amazing. I ordered the Atlantic Salmon and the she crab soup. To die for! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area looking for a romantic setting with nice relaxing sounds from the piano.

Wait staff was beyond terrible, food was poor to marginal at best, much better restaurants within walking distance that will provide a much better experience at the same or less price. Skip this place it is a loser! For the ADD and ADHD - Bullet points first. Explanation below: * After 30 minutes, I had to ask if our waiter would please take our drink order * 10 minutes to get drinks after we ordered * 10 more minutes to take dinner order * 10 minutes - Appetizers was barely okay * Entrée's took another 30 minutes on table, steak was properly cooked but cold, Salmon was overcooked, Veggies were not edible, just bland and rubbery. * Waiter did not check on us for drinks or ask us a single time how our food was * All drinks ran dry including water diet coke and beer, my wife was never asked for a refill of her diet coke and we had to wave down and ask for a second round of drinks * When we did reorder drinks during the entrée, they never showed until after they brought out deserts which was another 30 minutes * Even though they ran out of the desert we order, the incredibly thin slice of cheese cake (maybe a ¼ inch) was pretty good. My guess is that the bakery down the street provides this to Adam's as it was much better than the quality of the former two courses. * Over two hours for a three course meal with most of the time spent waiting for drinks and food with no attention whatsoever from the wait staff * Don't waste your money here, you will be disappointed. Go to Rico's, Aqua Terra or order a burger from Wendy's. Worse service I have ever had - anywhere, period. We felt like we were not welcomed and in general a nuisance to very inattentive waiter. After over 30 minutes waiting at our table, I had to ask FOH to help get our waiter's attention so we could at least order drinks. While I could not hear what was being said, the waiter's body language made it clear that he was not going to wait on us anytime soon and we were a bother to him. FOH told me that he was frustrated due to the number of people (the restaurant was maybe 30% capacity) and they were overwhelmed with online reservations (which still makes no sense). After placing our drink order, another 15 minutes to take our dinner order, food took forever to come out, our entry was very disappointing (Steak was barely warm, salmon severely over cooked) I don't expect to reach for a salt shaker in this type of restaurant but found myself searching for one which was not there, the food was under seasoned. I would have typically sent food back but we were well in to 1.5 hours of a less than desirable experience and honestly just wanted the meal to be over so we could leave. There are several restaurants within a stone's throw of Adams which I can recommend, try them and do not waste your money here - you will be disappointed.

I was so excited to have Adams restaurant in Buford until my family and I dined there. The food and atmosphere is not worth the price. The owner is haughty. Not a recommended dining destination!!!

At least the company we were with was 5star worthy....service and food...I'd go somewhere else.

(1)Jim K.

Great atmosphere, Great food, Great people, Beautiful, elegant, and best if all fun... I would recommend I to anyone looking to have a great time.... Friday, and Saturday nights are live... Great Place!!!!!!!

Came back tonight to see it was a fluke- wonderful!!! Come on a weeknight and maybe some reviews would be higher. Had Matt great us again, Tish served us and we just love this. Escargot, She Crab soup, tonight the Cape Cod Scallops and Seafood plate- creme brûlée- all great ! Will keep coming back.
