Best Sushi bar off 85 and Chateau Elan!!! Nice long sushi bar displays their ALWAYS fresh fish, great sushi chefs ( I follow "Tan"....) who takes care of me and my son always with fresh squid salad, great sushimi tuna, and special rolls for my son. It's my "Friday" night out wtih my son and close to my home. Owner comes around, WORKS....doesn't just tool around to ask how you are.. he works... which I like. I've never had a bad dish here and think this is the best well managed Ninja ( or mixed hibachi) sushi bar I've EVER been to, any where, any state!!! Great service and fresh ingredients. Good mix of how to make a restuarant work!!!!!!

I prefer the location at Hamilton Mill, but almost always enjoy the experience at either. Sushi is very good and hibachi is the highlight. If they offered a "kid free hibachi", I'd be a regular.

We treated ourselves to this Japanese steakhouse after our second day of training. The place was deserted on a Tuesday night at 8pm. We sat down at the Hibachi grill and I ordered sushi while my friend ordered the calamari. The calamari wasn't bad, they gave you yum yum sauce to dip in. The sushi was fantastic (Special Roll had soft shell crab topped with cooked eel). We both ordered the shrimp, lobster, and chicken hibachi plus fried rice. As usual it comes with miso soup and salad, both were good. When the chef came out he was very friendly and talkative. When he started cooking the rice, he turned up a bowl of bacon, and my life changed. They add bacon to their fried rice. It's absurd, in the most fantastic way ever. There is already fried egg in there so why the heck not add bacon?!?!? Anyway, on to the main course. Lobster is a tough meat to cook, especially grilled. This chef was a bit cautious in his cooking (he cooked everything a bit longer than needed) so some of it came out tough. Nonetheless I ate almost all of it. The reason I gave this place 5 stars is because we went back Thursday night. We got 3 rolls, tempura, and soft shell grab as an appetizer. Everything was delicious. I went basic with the teriyaki chicken this time, but definitely added that fried rice. This chef was much better as far as timing of his cooking. Everything came out tender and so packed with flavor. Surprisingly again though, the place was nearly empty on a Thursday night. Based on the size and what overhead must be, I'm a little nervous it won't last too long. Compared to back home it just doesn't bring the ground.

Will not be back!! I ordered my steak Medium Rare and it was cooked Well. Very Expensive!! The sauces aren't quite right here either. Go to Shogun or any other Japanese Steakhouse.

Food was just ok. Seafood sauce is terrible! Avocado in sushi rolls was brown and unappealing. When I showed the waiter the avocado he just took it away but did not remove it from the check. They also charge for coke refills. We were very disappointed with our first visit. We will not be returning.

Tonight was our first time eating here. All I can say is that it is fantastic. The rolls and shishimi are great and the service is too. It has a full liqueur bar and the sushi is 20% off if you eat in before 6. We will be back for sure.

Sushi, sushi rolls - We eat at Ninja (Chateau Élan/Braselton location) many times a year and we are big spenders when we go. I've had it with the service at this restaurant. It is consistently BAD. Yesterday we went in for a late lunch at 1:30pm, they close at 2:30 and I called before to confirm this. We felt very unwelcome from manager sitting at bar when we walked in and didn't bother to get up, to the Sushi Chef who was obviously put out by our second order of two rolls 2:10pm. We asked for check and were walking out the door at 2:30. Waitresses are always nice but food is super slow. I agree with several posters that sauces are a bit over the top, .they really need to cut down on the mayo! I don't think we will go back. Food can be very good but service is terrible. I've heard Hamilton mill location has great service...can't wait to find out. BTW, check was 120.00 before tip, sorry we bothered them.

There is something to be said about amazing food and great atmosphere. Ninja Steakhouse & Sushi @ Chateau Elan has been able accomplish both of these. Whether you are looking for an exciting hibachi dinner with family and friends or a quiet sushi dinner at the bar/lounge, this place caters to either environment. If you choose to fill up on sushi you will find that they have some of the best sushi rolls in the North Atlanta area, rated "Best sushi in Gwinnett" 3 years in a row. A few favorites to try are the Godzilla Roll, Cherry Blossom Roll and Secret Roll. Also, definitely try the fried rice with a side of mustard sauce as it really hits the spot. I highly recommend this restaurant. Stop in show them some local support and enjoy the great food and hospitality.

Ninja in Braselton is my husband and mine's favorite place to go. We love it so much we had our rehersal dinner for our wedding here. They have a wide range of sushi both raw and cooked. It is by far the best sushi I have ever had! The hibatchi is awesome as well. You get many choices in meats plus the salad and rice. The owners are very nice and always willing to help you out.

The food and service are consistently good here. The chefs are not very enthusiastic or entertaining, but the food tastes good. The waitresses are pleasant and come around often enough. It's also nice to see management working the floor as well. I have always sat at the hibachi tables when I come and a couple of times I've gotten a decent view of what I could see of the kitchen/prep area behind the half-curtain. What I saw was quite surprising. The miso soup comes out of a dispenser (similar to those metal tea dispensers at fast food restaurants) and then the mushrooms and green onions are dumped in after. For some reason, I always imagined that the soup was ladled out from a huge pot. The salad is hand picked (yes.. picked out by bare hands) out from the plastic bin that sits on the counter until it's empty. I've seen the staff here wipe tables down and then walk right in to prepare the soup and salad. Please, please, please be more sanitary! There are a lot of regulars and the families that come in are nice to interact with, which is always a good sign. Next time, I might just check out their sushi bar instead and skip hibachi. I definitely would have rated this restaurant a lot higher if it weren't for the sanitation issues.

Love Ninja!! The meats are some of the freshest I have ever had at a Hibachi grill!! Great staff and clean facilities. I usually get the filet and chicken and the filet meat quality rivals any good steak house I have been to. The chefs put on a great show and are always super interactive. A friend of mine is the sushi expert and this is the only joint he ever wants to go to. I will continue to return to Ninja for lunch or dinner whenever craving good Japanese.

This place is amazing. The sushi is very fresh and delicious. I have not tried the hibachi but the groups around table seem to enjoy it and have great time. Our server Ron, was super personable and friendly. The seaweed salad is good as well. Upon a return visit a few weeks later our waiter and cashier recognized us saying hey and welcome back. Great people.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. My friends took me here for my bridal shower and it was so fun. We waited at the bar for awhile while we waited for our party and enjoyed some time chatting with each other and the bartender. He made a delicious sex with an alligator drink and we enjoyed some chat with him regarding some current issues. When we sat down, we enjoyed some time together before our orders were being made. The chef was fun and interactive. The food was delicious. My steak was made just right and the veggies were very flavorful. I was stuffed and had some to take home. Fun times, great for a group.
